Best Electricians in New York

I had been looking for an electrician for a few months to fix what I thought was a bad breaker. It was challenging finding one for whatever reason.  I had 8 outlets that were not working. I called Stanley Electric the Friday before Christmas to setup an appointment. Thankfully they had availability on the day I was available. I live out of town and can only get things done when I'm in Jersey visiting. Chris arrived and after a short time figured out the issue and fixed it right away. In addition, he tightened up two outlets that were loose. I was grateful that the repair was less painful then what I was anticipating. I will certainly be calling Stanley Electric again when I'm ready to do more work on the house.

We have been using Salerno for a lot of years, for big jobs and small.  They are competent, reliable, pleasant to work with and reasonable in price.  I recommend without reservation.

Con-Hud came to my home for an appointment and was on time to the minute.
I needed a bid to upgrade my electrical panel and meter. They were very prompt with providing me with a very fair bid. I scheduled the project right away. Con-Hud finished the project in a timely manner, was very professional and most important to me, clean. After they finished the job, I had them give me a bid for a automatic natural gas generator. Again, great pricing. I scheduled the generator project too.

I'm very happy with the professional job that Rieder Electric did for me. The work that was done was exactly as I had requested. Sean installed a chandelier in my dining room and an outside light on my deck. He also changed some smoke detectors, put a fan in the bathroom, and put in some new outlets. Everything was clean and neat as could be. I highly recommend his services.

I hired them add a dedicated 20A circuit from the basement apartment, where the breaker box is located, to the 2nd floor living room.  I was impressed by there ability to do this work and not use an external conduit to route the cable. It was all done internal to the home. While they did have to cut a whole in the apartment in between, it was patched up very good. In my opinion, it was as good as a professional dry wallers work.

The cost was practically the same to another quote using external conduit.

Feedback from the renters was excellent.  They were very professional and cleaned up well after the work was done.

Excellent! Excellent! Tommy and his apprentice came earlier than our scheduled appointment and took care of my outdoor outlet in 15 minutes! Once he fixed that outlet, my light in the foyer and indoor outlet began to work. Great service and very friendly. I highly recommend this company!

I worked with Mr, Campbell in Springfield Garden, for a full upgrade in my apartment building in brooklyn, just inspection on first try, I recommend this company 100 %, I work with contractor all the time and it is nice to work a true professional for once.

I am very happy that I found and went to D'Anna Electric. I was experiencing a problem with hallway emergency lights. I went to the store and everyone was very polite and patient. They gave me ideas of what the problem could be and after I investigated more, I went back and they helped me make the right choices of what I actually needed.  I truly don't think you could get that attention, knowledge and service at a big box store. I will definitely be back to D'Anna electric for any of my electrical needs.

Family owned business in Jackson Heights--father and son.  Honest, kind, sweet natured, prompt, fair pricing and most importantly, VERY good at what they do.  I've had them in our home three times (for diagnosis and repair of electrical sockets, lighting and ceiling fan installation).  Of all of the different types of contractors who have done work in my home they stand out;  I can highly recommend them without any caveats, unlike the others.  If my friends need any electrical work, I will definitely refer them to Antonio without hesitation.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Chris Hand on doing a full panel replacement at my house. Chris really set the bar high when it comes to professionalism and fairness. His prompt attention to detail, accommodating to our time, good clean work and fair pricing can't be beat. I'm very happy to report that I have found my go to electrician for all jobs going forward. You can't go wrong with Hands on Electric. Very happy customer!

Mostly very good.   They're the firm my co-op recommends and I've used them several times for various fixes, some more complicated than others.   They seem to have two levels of electricians, one for simple fixes like replacing light switches or fuses and one for more advanced wire problems.   All in all they've very efficient, straight forward with their billing and helpful.

One apt with them I give a more mixed review where the electrician seemed puzzled and I watched him test the exact same thing 5 or 6 times, on more than one occasion.   The definition of insanity being someone who does the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, I found that troubling and while I've had that electrician in the past and he's been very good, he struck me as a little senile this time.

Finally, after about an hour of testing the same thing he looked at something else and that turned out to be the problem, so the end result was good, but I found his work on that day a bit troubling.   Overall, still a 4 star company easily.    Mostly they're efficient and very upfront on costs and their prices are fair.

Jose Geronimo agreed to do a small job of running 6 cat 6 six lines and toning out the current lines to fin out which ones where good last week. This Monday I received a call informing me that the job is too small and he isn't willing to do it anymore. The website states no job too big or small which is a complete load of bull.
