Embrich Plumbing is great! They are a small, family-owned and operated business that is reputable and fair in their pricing, which is hard to find these days. Del and his crew of plumbers are friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled in their trade. No high-pressure sales tactics or over-selling like some of their competitors. Do yourself a favor and call Embrich Plumbing for any and all plumbing needs!

Called this morning and they were able to fit me in today for a service call. Their technician diagnosed the problem as being a bad circuit breaker and not a furnace issue at all. I appreciated the honesty! He had to leave to get a new circuit breaker and came right back to replace it.
I'm happy with the service - prompt and courteous - but I am not thrilled with the high cost. The service call was $89 and a new circuit breaker should cost only $20-$30. I was charged $331.50 total, which I've been told by neighbors is very, very high for such a simple fix...Oh well. At least my furnace turns on now.

Outstanding service from a family-owned business. The service was great from start to finish! We will definitely be using them the next time I think I can tackle a project myself, and subsequently fail. Thank you for the great service and outstanding work!

A pipe burst on Christmas Eve. They helped me troubleshoot that day and sent a plumber Christmas morning so I could turn on my water. They're competent, pleasant and respectful.

I had called dns to give me a bid on a stack replacement for my mother, Dan was very professional, on time and stuck to his price unlike some companies trying to add charges at the last minute. Highly recommend.

TLDR: 30 minute repair that required no parts and was charged $265. When asked for itemized bill with any service fees/hourly rates, they said they do task-based pricing so there's nothing to itemize.
Got a call from a tenant that the shower wasn't getting very hot. The plumber I had used for years had recently retired, and I have used Hoffman Brothers in the past (and they do great work), but I wanted to find a smaller business to support. I had actually used Beis at my mom's house several years ago, so I figured I'd try them. They were able to send someone right over to take a look which was great! Employee was excellent and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem which was that the valve was set such that not much hot water could get through (probably to prevent scalding). One little turn and problem solved: No parts were needed (the valve/cartridge was less than 6 months old) and it all took less than 30 minutes to diagnose and fix.
All in all I was extremely happy with the service I received and given that I own several multi-family buildings, I figured I had found a great new plumber. That is, until I got a bill for $265. I asked them for an itemized bill because surely it was a misunderstanding since it hadn't taken long and no parts were used. (Let me be clear: I have hired MANY trades to do repairs in my buildings and have a good understanding of what things cost. I very rarely am shocked by invoices. I expected this one to be under $200.). They informed me that they don't have service charges or hourly prices; It's task based pricing which means basically whatever they make up I guess? On top of this, I was not even told how much this repair would be prior to the work being done. If I had known they were going to gouge me, I would have politely declined.
Anyway, it sounds like other folks have great experiences with them, but sadly I can't say the same. I just wanted other people to be aware of their pricing and not make the same mistake I did to trust that you will be charged fairly.

Same as another reviewer, this John Mess outfit was hired by St. Louis County to repair a neighbor's sewer lateral. They ended up excavating a small area in MY yard near the street, which was ok, since I was told ahead of time this would need to be done to complete the repair. Was I'm not ok with was, after the repair, the area subsided during the first hard rain, and opened up into a large void under the street next to our property. I called the St. Louis County Sewer Lateral Repair number and told them what had happened, and the said they'd contact the contractor, John Mess Plumbling. Sometime early the next day they'd 'fixed' the problem, because there was more hay on the bare soil and the hole looked like it had been filled in. Looks like they'd simply showed up with more hay, and used dirt already on the area to cover the hole under the street, since now the whole area was 3-4 inches lower than the surrounding lawn and was so lightly packed down that my foot sank down 4-5 inches when I lightly stepped on it. I can take a broom handle and poke through the dirt and under the street into the open void there and wiggle it around freely, now I'm concerned the next hard rain is going to cause my whole side yard to start slipping into the hole, and my neighborhood already has sinkholes in it already. Guess I'll have to get my own contractor and a gat a lawyer to make St. Louis County and this John Mess bunch to really fix the problem. This really burns me since it wasn't my problem to begin with.

Just called to inquire about their plumbing services and encountered the rudest lady on the phone. It was like it was an inconvenience for her to provide any information as if that's not her job. Not sure of the quality of their work because I couldn't get past the terrible customer service.

I am a DIYer and decided to change my half bath from a pedestal sink to a freestanding vanity. Had some issues getting the pipes to line up correctly... and after 5+ trips to Lowes with no success... I called Drain Masters. Brad Davidson was my technician and he was able to come out to my house the next day and fix my issue in under an hour.
Would highly recommend!!!

I probably shouldn't say this but I can't wait to hire Flow King again! I submitted a project to a couple Pros on a project website but Flow King saw my project on their own and responded proactively, long before any other pro. I got an appointment, just to get an estimate the very next day. Silvio arrived at our house right on time, with Michelle having called me to inform me he was on his way as promised. The estimate appointment went very smoothly; Silvio discussed some alternatives and explained clearly the work he would complete if I chose to book with the company. Their flat rate pricing was not only extremely easy to understand, but also very fair in its magnitude. I booked with Flow King for later the same week. Even after having to reschedule due to a conflict on MY END the company was able to come out within a few days. Silvio and Dave arrived on time, with Michelle again calling ahead of time to inform me of their impending arrival. Once on the job they worked quickly and professionally. The job was completed in just over half the time I had originally been quoted which was fantastic. I can tell Silvio used top quality fittings and all of his runs were right where we discussed. Overall I cannot think of a single negative aspect of this project and I will absolutely work with Flow King again. Absolutely a top-tier provider.

John diagnosed our Water Heater issue over the phone, contacted the manufacturer and obtained the electronic gas control more quickly than I could have obtained it via internet outlets. His Service Technician, Nick, arrived the day he was scheduled, calling in advance of his arrival, as requested. Both John and Nick were very courteous and professional. Nick replaced the gas control in a very efficient manner. We were very satisfied with our experience with A & A Complete Services.

Narcissistic owner who fails to take accountability for his errors. Make sure that you sign a quote before he does work for you. Don't rely on merely a verbal commitment for him to do work for you. He did work in my house, without my authorization, based upon a conversation that his assistant had with my realtor's assistant - a $2500 miscommunication. Make sure that you give them a signed quote, before they get started. Ensure that it has specific details, and ask that if the job is going to go over the quote, once he gets started, that he calls you to let you know that before continuing to do work on your property. He gave me a quote and then the final bill was more than double the quote. He never called me to discuss the situation as he was working to let me know that the bill was going to be higher than the quote and by what amount.
