Great job from a great company! My sewer line was backed up with tree roots all the way to the street, and the technician (who was on time and polite) worked for two hours to resolve it. Work is guaranteed for a year. It was done well, thoroughly, and at a fair price. I am thrilled with this company.

I was halfway through a plumbing project on a Sunday evening when I realized I was in over my head.  I called Drain Masters, who sent their on-call plumber within the hour.  In a very short time, he was able to complete my project and be on his way.

I give them 4 stars and not 5 only because a few days later, I noticed a small problem.  However, I notified Drain Masters who sent the plumber back out to fix it the same day.  He was able to fix it in a matter of minutes and I have not had any issues since.

I am a DIYer and decided to change my half bath from a pedestal sink to a freestanding vanity. Had some issues getting the pipes to line up correctly... and after 5+ trips to Lowes with no success... I called Drain Masters. Brad Davidson was my technician and he was able to come out to my house the next day and fix my issue in under an hour.

Would highly recommend!!!

Martin  called and cursed at me today.  They showed up quoted the job several weeks ago, I paid  half up front as required by them.  Martin owner then says his plumber who bid the job screwed up the  job and is demanding more money.  I told him that was not possible. Martin then said he didnt need my $8k job he agreed to and then used many profanities and insults. Very unprofessional.  Do not use.

$2200 for a 40 gallon hot water heater, totally a ripoff, plus a 2.9% fee because I used a credit card, isn't that a cost of doing business and getting immediate funds?  Made me sick on top of the $2200.  The service was not bad, not the plumbers fault, and wanted $2200 for another job under the sink, said no go on that one.  Will never call them again

Very courteous office person who goes the extra mile for customer relations.
Will is as good a plumber as you could find and has manners and is beyond efficient at his job.  He leaves no detail undone.  Never had such a wonderful experience with plumbing work that was done to the nines!
Will is now our regular guy to call for any and all plumbing jobs.

I've used Drain Masters on quite a few occasions over the last 3-4 years. So much so that the same guy usually came out each time. They were always courteous. They know their stuff. They don't leave until they are convinced the problem is resolved (especially for clogged pipes.) Plumbing is expensive no matter how you slice it. But they fixed it! Will definitely call them again.

We had a large leak in our basement. Drain Masters was the only company that not only would come today but came out in 7 minutes. They diagnosed the issue and cleaned it up immediately. They are extremely professional and I would recommend them again!

They were quick to respond to the call and professional when they arrived. Explained all the steps he took, what he was doing and looking for. Being a woman I appreciated his not being condescending. Turned out to not being much of a problem but will call them again when we have any issues.

I called to set up an appointment with them to have them to come out and look at my Sump pump. They called me the day before and told me that someone would be out there between 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock and someone would call me 15 minutes before they arrived at my house. I received a call at 8:15 from the company and they told me that they would be out there within the hour, therefore by 915. When 10:00  came, I called them back to see what was going on. They explained to me that a new employee had called me that morning and should not have. They then told me that the technicians were finishing up another job and that they would call me within 20 minutes to let me know they were on their way to my house, therefore by 10:20. I waited until 1115 to call them back. When I called them back they stated that the technician was still on another job and that it would be 30 minutes. They were not there in 30 minutes, they were there in an hour and 15 minutes. So therefore, instead of getting there between 8 and 10, they arrived at 1. When the two gentlemen arrived, they were very friendly and fixed my sump pump. However, a week later I received a phone call from the company. The company basically told me that the employee that I gave a check to was no longer with the company anymore and that I would have to arrange with the bank stop payment on my check and write them a new check. A very big hassle for a small project.

Had two issues, a backed up second story drain and a leak.  They unclogged the drain and assumed this would stop the leak since there would be no standing water in the pipes.  Wrong, I still have water leaking down from the second story to our main floor ceiling.  Two bathrooms still not useable.

When asked about the leak the tech said he would have to get into the wall to find it and left.  Guess he needed to get to his next appointment.

Called them out to fix a leaking pipe in the basement.

Good:

They came out fast.
They took care of their mistake when they made it.

Bad:

They misdiagnosed the problem - First they charged us about $280 to pull the toilet and reset it with a new wax ring. Fine. A few days later the pipe in the basement was leaking worse than before so we called them back out. Turns out it was a cracked pipe. The cost was $625 to fix it and they applied the $280 already paid.

So...?

So I got a a new wax ring and a cracked pipe fixed for $625. Not too bad I suppose. I don't mind paying for superior service. I don't even mind paying significantly higher prices as long as the service is great. The HVAC company I use is much higher than most but their service is also far superior than the other HVAC companies used. I can't say the same about these guys. The guy shows up in a hooded unmarked sweatshirt and when I answered the door he just barged on in without introducing himself, muddy boots and all. He was very friendly but constantly reminded me that this was going to be expensive. The whole thing just rubbed me a little weird. I would not use these guys again but don't have anything abjectly horrible to say about them. Maybe you will have better luck!

I've used this company twice.  Once on a home warranty claim for a toilet issue and another for a pilot light that wouldn't stay lit on the water heater.  They arrived on time (sooner than promised on one visit).  In both cases the answer from the tech was the same...replacement.  At least the tech that looked at the toilet actually did some work on it and tried.  The water heater tech literally walked in the basement, looked at it and said it needed to be replaced.

I'm happy to report that both items are running just fine.  The toilet needed the water level adjusted and a little cleaning.  The water heater just needed the flame arrester vacuumed out.  That's a pretty obscure fix, but you would like to think a trained technician would know that is a potential problem and not jump immediately to a $1700 replacement job.

I would recommend them for the plumbing services.  The tech that looked at the toilet at least pointed me the way to resolution.  It was an old toilet and I just wasn't ready to give up on it.  Replacement was definitely a valid recommendation.

However if you have a problem with an appliance you would do well to look elsewhere.  You get what you pay for with the free diagnostic.  They don't diagnose anything.  They just recommend replacement.

Update:  I had a nice conversation with the owner regarding the more negative aspects of the review.  It's difficult to explain why the situation played out the way it did, but I appreciated the call and came away feeling that they take these matters very seriously.

Mine could have been an isolated incident, but I stand by my review because that was my experience with the company.  That said, after speaking with him I would definitely consider using them again.

overcharged.  i asked for a drain to be cleaned, the technician proposed a video inspection followed by a hydroblast.  i refused and asked for a 4 cutter (drain clean out).  he agreed.  the company later charged 454 to my credit card, no explanation.  when i called to find out about the charge, they claimed a video inspection was needed and were fuzzy about the details. they refused to correct the charge.   i asked for an invoice .  they sent one but it provided no details, no itemized list of charges, just a 454 number. i am disputing the charge with my CC.   I think these guys are beefing up their invoices by billing services not provided. not professional.

Water was leaking from our shower down the wall and into the basement. We called for emergency service.  We were called back late in the day and could be out that evening. Shower valve was busted and needed new parts. We did make the decision to replace it at an astronomical price of $1,264, however, after the plumber left, we noticed there was no cleanup and the plate he mounted on the wall under the faucet handle was not even level. It was slightly crooked. Also a piece of the baseboard was laying on the floor so we had to glue it back on. After spending an enormous sum of money to repair, you would think they would at the very least, clean the mess and at least have the part straight instead of crooked. I would never get service from this company again. I try to use local companies but I guess check the ratings first. You don't always get what you paid for. I mentioned it to several people, and they all said to complain. This was NOT good service!

Eddie from Drain Masters was able to repair the faulty valve on our shower.  He did excellent work and kept me informed throughout the process.  He was able to complete the job in a timely manner and the shower works perfectly now.  I would highly recommend Eddie and Drain Masters.
