Having an air conditioner break is never fun: it's a substantial unexpected expense and usually comes at a time where the need for cooling and humidity reduction is the greatest. Also, it's a substantial expense!
That said, what should a person expect? If a repair job by a handyman is selected, then one gets what one pays for. If a person opts in favor of an established company selling quality products, the expectation it that a job should be done professionally and in a reasonable time-frame, and that the customer should feel good about both the hardware quality and workmanship. Describing the expectation is important because BELOMAN exceeded it in almost every regard.
1) They use Carrier systems, which was the brand of condenser I replaced. Not only are the new units much nicer (despite not being top-of-the-line or anything fancy), but the coil inside my house is MUCH nicer. The original home manufacturer used a generic coil on the inside, which is the only kind I'd ever seen, so the complete Carrier system was nicer than my expectations.
2) When they arrived to do the install, there were two complications: that the unit wouldn't fit on the house-bracket (so it needed the ground plate) and that the nice inside coil was a bit wider and needed custom transitions to fit properly. No problem for BELOMAN! They had the common base on-hand, and metal workers took measurements, coming back from their shop with perfectly sized adapters to complete the professional installation.
3) My home has two furnaces, so I was quoted two days to complete the installation (two A/Cs onto existing furnaces). Additionally, I was informed that the personnel could not complete the outdoor soldering and electrical work if there were thunderstorms. Knowing that storms were predicted for the second installation day, two extra people arrived in the morning to accelerate the installation! This all-hands-on-deck approach (including someone who I overheard mentioning that he could only help for an hour before he had to be at another appointment) was truly exceptional. I'm sure don't always have capacity to do that, but to know that they will when they can.
4) As my air conditioning was failing, I had researched many methods to try and keep my house cooler. This left me with several questions about how best to use the new system moving forward. They took ample time to answer them and look at various ducts about which I had questions. They did not, at any point, seem rushed or bothered by taking the time to help me. In addition, they provided thoughtful responses that made me appreciate their time and knowledge (and they still finished ahead of schedule)!
5) The person who came to the house also did a great job listening to my needs and designing a solution that would accommodate.
6) On top of all this, they were genuinely nice people. They were mindful of my dog when coming in and out of the house (petting him even), and even asked about the project I was working on in my garage.
Together, all this made me feel that the whole team really was invested in me, my home, and of course my air conditioning. I don't know if there's anything else they could have done to make the experience more enjoyable. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a quality job, done right, the first time, by great professionals.

My sinks had a slow leak and these guys were able to set up a quick appointment. They will give a free estimate, even for making the trip out. When they discovered that the repairs required only a slight tightening of the connector, they only charged me for the service fee. They didn't try to make up fake issues to drive up the cost of the bill, like some other plumbers might.
They are extremely professional, honest, friendly, efficient and just genuine people. I highly recommend calling them for any plumbing issues. I will certainly call them again if I ever have any plumbing issues in the future.

Had a great experience working with Gus. We had a work bathroom updated to be ADA compliant and Gus did a great job. He was reliable, efficient and very communicative. If he said he'd be there at a certain time, he was. All the work was inspected by the City Inspector and everything passed each time, first time. I highly recommend this company.

I had my hot water heater go out and Orr came out and scoped out the situation and determined the needed parts & labor. They returned the next day at the agreed to time and proceeded to do a good job installing the new hot water heater. The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. I was somewhat concerned about the age of all the connecting pipes, but it wasn't an issue, even though their technicians were able to determine that my bad heater dated back to 1986 (I'm only the second owner and I've owned the house since 1995). Under the circumstances I was very pleased with the timely response from Orr Plumbing. But this story is not quite finished, after cleaning up most of the water and associated damage, I determined there was still a leak and it was causing a riverlet across my basement floor. Upon further investigation, I was able to determine that the source of the leak was the main inside shut-off valve. I called Orr and ended up speaking with Mr. Orr. He gave me a quote for replacing the valve. When the technicians showed up, they determined they could rebuild the valve at a much lower price, so I had them do the work. They even sent a technician to my house a few days later to pick up a check as the check I left them was for the original amount, which they didn't take on the day they performed the work. A very nice piece of customer service in the eyes of this customer. Thanks Orr Plumbing for quick and good service, they were straight shooters to do business with. I will definitely call them again the next time I am in need of plumbing services.

The technician was very quick to arrive which was the best part of this service. But that was it. He completely ruined my toilet on my main floor with scratches. There was not a single scratch before he came over. The toilet was new. He said he would come back the next day to fix but never showed up. The toilet has to be replaced, its awful. The WORST part of this service was when he used the shop vac in the toilet and then dumped the waste/toilet paper in my front yard where everyone walks. It has since frozen since its cold out and is absolutely disgusting. My husband had to go out and tell him to dump it else where after he did it 2 times. There is waste and toilet paper frozen to my grass. He walked throughout my home on the carpet with no booties on. It was raining the day he came. He also wore the gloves he was digging in the toilet with while checking things in my house and touching light switches, faucets and door knobs...Just disgusting. The photos below are from a week after service. I am still just beside myself.

Majority of plumbers that unclog drains charge by the drain. Several will do for less then 100. Not so at Mid America. When they quote you that they charge you every 15 minutes after the first hour they will get at least that extra $34. Your going to pay well over 200 for them to unclog any drain.
We moved into a new home and the drain clogged first night. Very basic drain nothing under sink to move out. Cut and dry job. Tech said probably grease from previous owners and house was uninhabited for a few months. Made sense. He went to work and had drain unclogged in less then 45 minutes. He did a basic clean up and was done within the hour. I was still charged that .25 extra hour. I was told by Cindy that they don't refund. She said maybe it was his drive time. Come on. Extremely fraudulent and dishonest practices.

We've used them a few times and have had mixed results. It really comes down to the tech they send out. I would definitely nit use them for their sewer line video service, it is terrible. They use low quality equipment and the video is worthless.

This is my 2nd experience with Bono first time was excellent probably because they replace the the entire water heater with home warranty. The second was not a great expereince, nor do they do home warranty calls. We decided to still use them since our warranty would reinburse us back. We requested a service call on Monday to diagnose our water heater. The owner advise that the thermocouple was bad and that it needed to be replaced. On Tuesday, Bono replaced the theromcouple, we had hot water for one day! On Wednesday, we no longer had hot water. So we called to see what can be done since we just paid $300 to have the thermocouple replace. They told us it was nothing they could do and referred us to another company! Keeping in mind that they have a Concrete Guarantee. After checking with other companies they told us that we should have been advised to replace the water heater instead of the thermocouple. We wasted $300 that could have went towards the water hearter, so beware.....

Recently I had a problem with my air conditioning unit during 100 degree weather. As a new homeowner I didn't know who to call or trust. I had called my parents, and asked who they used and tried to call that company and they didn't answer. So I called back 20 minutes later and they said it was going to be up to a week before they were going to be able to come to my house and check out my air conditioning unit. So next I looked online to find someone good and trust worthy.
Then I came across Academy Air, and gave them a call. I was expecting them to tell me it was going to be a week or so before they could get to my house. To my surprise they told me they would be out in under an hour. When the service technician arrived he was very helpful and professional. I showed him the thermostat and how it wasn't getting any colder in my house. I gave him a quick view of where the inside and outside units were and he got right to work to give me a diagnostic.
After about 25 minutes of looking and working on the outside unit he knew what the problem was. He told me that it would only take him about an hour to fix the problem coils. While he was working on the ac unit, he had a different technician drive and drop off a part he needed to expedite the process. After he was finished I was happy with the price and the amount of time it took them to fix my air conditioning problem.
Academy Air made me feel like I was part of the family, with their speedy and great work. In the future, I won't have to look for a heating and cooling company. I will know who to call right away if I have any other problems with my HVAC system. Thanks again Academy Air.

Since September Ben has been moving the schedule and pushing our service to fix a pipe at our house.
Today he gave another company name and number to my wife to call as he will be busy for another 2 weeks.
He should have told her that since the beginning instead of re scheduling.

I'm giving them two stars only because of my previous experiences with them. We used them a few years ago and they did a great job moving some pipes and doing some other things for us. However our most recent interaction has been pretty awful. We called them again due to how wonderful they were before to have a few things done in our new home. The guy that showed up talked to us a few minutes, looked at a few things and said he'd be back the next day. Next day he's a no-show so my husband calls him. We get this story about another customer accidentally drilling holes into a pipe and it's taking more time than thought etc. but he'll be there the next day. Next day again no show. Call him - no answer so we leave a message. Never called us back. So we called the company number and haven't heard from them either. Im really disappointed and won't be using or recommend them again. I won't beg someone to take my money!

Where to start with this guy Christopher Roberts. Complete fraud in my opinion, leaving reviews for a competitor's business for no reason. It's the weirdest thing I've ever experienced in my adult life. Attached is the pictures of the harassment we've experienced. Started calling us over a year ago.

Called Right Now Plumbing on April 29, 2020 to set up an appointment for an estimate to install sewer and water lines on my mom's home. We set a date of Thursday May 7, 2020 between 10:30 and 12:30. The receptionist informed me that the technician would call 30 mins before showing up.
My mom received a call from the technician (Tony) that Friday May 1st and offered to come out earlier that our set appointment and provide an estimate the next day May 2nd. Well, Tony never called or showed up. Fast forward to the day the appointment was set through the receptionist on May 7th,; we had a no call no show again from Right Now Plumbing.
I called the company appointment line to get answers of why we were receiving such poor customer service. The guy who answered the phone promised me the tech would give me a call.......no one ever called me or my mom. This is beyond unacceptable and I will share my experiences on other review sites so people know the type of service Right Now Plumbing provides. We buried my grandmother the week that they did not show and I let them know that this was very important because we were limited on time and the poor service is what we received in response.
