Hideous customer service! I had to use this incompetent company because of a HMS warranty. Incompetent plumber-stated there was a leak in the wall and after I had to pay to have drywall removed, another plumber found there was no leak in the wall, but in the dishwasher!

I had a plumbing problem. I called for an appointment with A&A COMPLETE SERVICES (618-670-8112) on June 15th. I had to wait until today, June 20th before they would come. OMG! I just got off the phone with the owner. He was unbelievably rude, yelled at me, then blamed me for almost getting in an accident while talking to me while driving, and lied to me about the technician he sent out and phone calls he said that he had made to me. I waited during their appointment window from 12:00 noon until 3:45 pm. Since I hadn't heard a single word from them all day, I called their business, which went right to voicemail, and, since I could not get a live person to answer, I left a message asking if they intended to show up today. Shortly thereafter, I was talking on the phone, when a phone call rang in, but I could not get off the phone with the Department of Revenue. This plumbing owner then called back to tell me that he had called me TWICE earlier in the day, (my phone shows NO MISSED CALLS BY HIM) and THAT BECAUSE I DID NOT ANSWER TEN MINUTES AGO, THEY SENT THE TECHNICIAN HOME. I asked if he could come back since it was only 10 minutes ago. Nope. Too late. He said that the tech had come to my door and NO ONE ANSWERED!  I said that was not possible, as my huge German shepherd barks whenever anyone even steps on our property. He said he wasn't going to argue with me, and instead said HE WAS CANCELING OUR CONTRACTED APPOINTMENT WITH HIM and I was to use another provider! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are not reliable and are extremely inconsiderate and rude. I have no idea how they do plumbing work, but you can be sure that if it is in anyway similar to the way they treat potential customers, you'll be sorry. Please pass this along to anyone else in the Belleville, Edwardsville, Glen Carbon area. BE WARNED. Now that I see the other Yelp reviews, I 'm thankful they didn't show!

Let's start with the number on the service truck that arrived being disconnected. Should have been a sign. Then there's the immediate request for payment without showing me so much as an blank piece of paper. Perhaps they didn't notice the $80k cls in the three car garage of my 4,000 sq ft home. I think we can pop for the $250. I'm not an idiot; and, I'll pay you for services rendered upon completion and you providing me an itemized invoice. If your home warranty company sends these half wits....REQUEST ANOTHER PROVIDER

This company was assigned by our home warranty company, AHS, to work on a problem with our AC.  We figured out the problem ourselves so I called the company the day before the appointment to cancel.  Since the number given went to voice mail, I was left with no choice but to leave a message to cancel. A week later, I received an email from my home warranty company stating that I had a service fee due for work done by A & A.  After calling AHS, I was told that A & A said I had a missed appointment, hence the service fee still being charged.  That's funny, considering no one ever showed up at my door!  We have 2 dogs so I would've known if someone pulled into my driveway, let alone came to my door.  I called A & A to speak with the owner concerning this matter.  He rudely told me that his technician come out, but refused to tell me who that was or let me speak to this supposed technician, then proceeded to hang up on me.  If i could've rated this company 0 stars, that would've been a more accurate representation of my displeasure of ever having to deal with A & A.  Thankfully, my home warranty company waived the fee and chose to believe me over this dishonest business owner.

Technicians were sent out by HMS Home Warranty to fix a non-functioning air conditioning unit during a heat advisory.  After fifteen minutes of troubleshooting, the surly lead technician informed me I needed a new control board ($575 job), it would be a week before the part came in, and I need a credit card for your deductible.  After more than a week and multiple followups, the part arrived, but the company suddenly closed for business due to storm damage.  I called a local guy who came out the next day, reset some internal switches, had our a/c running in 15 minutes, and charged us a normal service call.  Incompetent technicians and poor communication--do not use this company.

I have an AHS warranty. These guys were sent out. Spent all of 8 minutes tryi g to up lugged. Then told me I needed to put a clean out opening down stair in my finished basement bathroom. Which of course wouldn't be covered by my warranty. Called Roto Rooter, they came out had my drain unclogged in less than 15 minutes. Don't wastes your time or money. They seemed more interested in the service call fee than actually doing any work!

Sent by our home warranty company.  Rude. Lied to the company, Complained about having been sent to where we live. Did not complete the work they were sent for. Shocking that someone would come into another person's home to perform a service and instead behave with such attitude and leave without making everything functional.

If Zero was an option I would give this company a negative zero. Where shall I begin... The owner came over the first time to fix my A/C it was working but 3 hours later it went out again. So I call my home warranty company and submitted another ticket. The owner called me again set up another appointment and gives me a 2 hour window. The day of the appointment 2 hours later no phone calls no show. So I reached out the owner and told me he will call me back with an update.  Well apparently the technician was at my house an hour ago. I got no phone call no nothing. This Eric guy supposedly knocked on my door but assume no one was home because there was no car in the driveway.  Really! Someone was home he had to change his schedule to be home.. He was up waiting for this guy, since when companies do not call people to let them know they are heading your way?  It's going to be a long weekend for us.  DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! I asked my home warranty to use someone else.

These shysters work for HMS National Home Warranty Services and are the worst predators out there in the area. DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME! The owner is a fraud and has a domestic violence record. We instead contacted HMS and had them black listed for future customer service. They tried to send them to us again thinking we're morons with the attention spans of hamsters.

A&A Complete's employees and trainee are amateurish bunglers; who managed to do more damage to my HVAC unit. Because they're an insipid dolts; who would rather blame home owners than admit their malfeasance rather than as inexperienced trainee mistake. It took them over a week to come out in the middle of summer, purloin $100 under the laughable guise of a non-refundable inspection. Only to delay over another two weeks tell us they wanted to install a whole new system. When it turns out they could have fixed it for less than $100 in parts and labor.

Due to their trainee's gross negligence in his work; it cost us $500 in fixing the system when we called Weinland HVAC to come out and repair A&A slipshod inspection. We decided not to take A&A to small claims court because it would be too much of a hassle as it's less than $1000 to drag their bush league bumpkins to do any serious repairs on our residence in the future. Watch out for HMS National sending these clowns into your home; I serious suggest seeking a different Home Warranty Service that DOES NOT have A&A as part of their registered contractors on call as they will show up and rip you off one way (inspection fee) or the other using a trainee's mistake justify full replacement of your system.

John diagnosed our Water Heater issue over the phone, contacted the manufacturer and obtained the electronic gas control more quickly than I could have obtained it via internet outlets.  His Service Technician, Nick, arrived the day he was scheduled, calling in advance of his arrival, as requested.  Both John and Nick were very courteous and professional.  Nick replaced the gas control in a very efficient manner.  We were very satisfied with our experience with A & A Complete Services.

The Owner is RUDE and UNPROFFESSIONAL. He came to our house to service our AC Unit through HMS Home Warranty. He told my husband he would order the part and it would be here in 3-5 business days (He wasn't willing to visit the Belleville Parts Store). My husband said we wanted the unit fixed even if it wasn't covered under warranty.  We called this guy 3-5 business days later. He didn't order the part and then he talked extremely rudely to us when we showed our distaste for his lack of customer service.

American Home Shield sent them to our house last summer to fix our central air. We paid close to $800 for refrigerant. A few days after the 60 day cutoff for AHS's guarantee, it stopped working. Because that company refused to honor the work, we decided to suck it up and have it serviced this year. New company came out and said it has zero refrigerant in it and we will end up paying that much again. Both companies deserve zero stars in my book.

My wife and I were directed to this company by my home warranty to fix a problem with my bathroom sink. I waited all morning and afternoon for them to show up. It got past 3 pm and my wife called to see if there had been a problem. As it turns out, all the employee did was take a photo of my house and leave. Then I was charged a $75 service fee from my warranty company(HSA), also crooks, for them to come out and do nothing. Do not deal with these criminals!

I am giving one star since there is no option for none. Horrible experience with HMS and A&A. Nobody wants to take responsibility for inappropriate instal of a furnace and subsequent equipment and property damage. Both aware of a third party reports on the matter. A&A refuses their fault without reviewing reports and states they do not keep any record of work done. HMS advises me hiring lawyers and sewing to obtain liability insurance info for company since they can not provide. I guess we r layering up and figuring it out in court. Do not open your door to these scammers. All info disclosed above is the very truth and it is a shame that people like this are out there and hustling unaware consumers.

Wish I would've done my homework but agree with all the reviews.  Owner is straight up rude. HMS sent him out to replace water heater.  He installed expansion tank so I CAN'T get my air filter out.  HMS won't hold him accountable!  He says that's the only place it can go & he'll move it if I sign a piece paper & pay him $250.  NOT!  Got another plumber to come look & he could've moved it so now I have to pay out of pocket to fix HIS mistake!

I would give zero stars if that was an option! Worst company, and customer service ever!!! We as well had to go through our warranty company, and this is who they sent us. After back and forth for over a month they finally sent a guy who fixed it in less than 15 mins.
The owner is one of the rudest people i have ever meet. He yelled at me when i called the week of thanksgiving becuase we still didn't have heat. He told me I was lucky he even answered the phone!! Excuse me, that is what an owner should do especially since we had been with out heat for 3 weeks prior. Needless to say, we didn't have heat for thanksgiving! Stay away from this company, and the owner!
