Woke up Sunday morning, on a long Holiday weekend, with our 10 year old Rinnai on demand hot water heater out of commission, leaking water out of the bottom. I reluctantly began the process of calling a bunch of plumbers to see who could come out and have a look. Only one plumber called me back, Renato, from Bushi plumbing. He listened to my explanation of the situation, looked at a picture of the hot water heater I sent him, and recommended it would likely need to be replaced (given I hadn't had it serviced once over the past ten years, my bad!) He also explained all the supply houses were closed, and the soonest he could be out was Monday (the following day, which was also a holiday BTW).

He came out on Monday, and confirmed the unit was beyond repair. He sourced a replacement unit, an actual upgrade to what we had, and had it installed and running within hours.

While he was here, he also found the source of a gas leak we've had for years (other plumbers told me it was mold,) and replaced a ten foot section of pipe that had been slowly leaking and ready to burst.

Bushi plumbing is by far the best plumbing service I've ever hired. I will only look to them for plumbing services from now on. Thank you, Renato!

I'd give this company 10/5 stars! I highly recommend this company! They are fast, reliable, professional and an excellent plumping company. This past weekend, New England had extreme cold Below 0 degrees for 2 days. This caused our water pipe to freeze and burst and the fire department came to shut off our water. we had to repair our pipe and we called so many plumping companies and they ended up being already booked out several days into the week because other multiple homes had pipes bursting and other pipe/plumbing issues from the extreme cold as well. My boyfriend and i were stressed because we had no water for over 24 hrs and every plumbing company we called were booked for the day and several days out of the week. no one had availability to repair our broken pipe until I called Bushi Plumbing. they were able to come to my home the same day and fixed our broken pipe. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. They had all the tools and equipment to fix our pipe. Everything is fixed now and we finally have water! I am very grateful for this company and for them being able to help us on our pipe issue!

I'm a new homeowner and I had no idea what to do. Bushi Plumbing was amazing and provided quick service! My water heater burst around 7pm at night and I called the emergency answering service for after hours and someone called me back within 15 minutes. I was able to text Renato a picture of the damage and model and he was able to come over the next morning at 8am with the replacement for a really affordable price! I called yesterday to ask about a plumbing job to connect an outdoor spigot to a water pipe in the basement. I spoke to Renato on the phone and he was clear and helpful and upfront about the price estimate for the work.

He sent over 2 technicians that day and they were able to get it done within 1 hour. It was definitely quick and efficient which we appreciated.

Ernado and his team were nothing but The Best in the Business

At 71, I have had the good fortune to work with many professionals, Ernada and his team can match or better these many professionals.

The price was right, they arrived on time, all plumbing was done well, There was a hole that need to be placed in the wall for use in the future Ernado was very meticulous to minimize the opening and he made the hole almost invisble.

He and his team are professional, they arrive on time, get to work, meticulous in their work, get the system going well and reduce any damage that needs to be covered.

My kitchen sink started leaking late Friday night. I called early Saturday morning, Renato said he'd have somebody at my house by 9:30. This review is long overdue!!!!! Last October we had an issue with inconsistent heating in our building. I called five plumbers and renato was the only one who called back and I learned that he didn't typically service our area but he made an exception and came out to look into our building the next day. He fixed the issue in no time and he also saw a potential plumbing issue and fixed that! Very reasonable in price and he is very covid responsible! Can not go wrong with this business!!!!

Fast. Friendly. Effective. Renato was awesome. Our heater stopped working during a frigid weekend and he was at our house within 30 min after calling. He figured out that the igniter was the issue, zipped off to some store to get the part, came back and fixed it. I really appreciate that he also explained what he was doing and showed me where the issue was with the part. Just bought a home and before we moved in, we ran into plumbing issues. I found Bushi on Yelp and gave them a call and they came at the end of their work day at 7pm to help. Fast forward 3 weeks later, my water heater broke and they came within hours and installed a new one. Their prices are great and as a first time home owner, they felt my stress and got the job done immediately. They explained everything to me and educated me on the plumbing of the house. I called Bushi Plumbing to ask about a jammed garbage disposal after my husband and I were unable to figure out how to unclog it ourselves. He told me to text him my address and he'd be there in an hour. He showed up right on time and quickly solved our problem, even double checking for leaks after he fixed it. Renato and his team were absolute life savers. We had a problem with a sewer odor, and couldn't locate the source. In 2 visits, Renato scoured the house, found the source (a vent line improperly terminated below the roof), and fixed it. He was able to get roofers to come same-day to complete the job. They had to move our washer/dryer, and cut holes in the wall, all of which they promptly and elegantly repaired post-job, same day. Team was respectful, meticulous, and highly communicative. Renato even took the time to explain the issue and its impacts to another unit in the building. Could not be happier - he gave us our home back.

Fairly standard job, changed out an old gas tank water heater for a new one. The main guy came over, took a look, gave me a no nonsense quote and said his guys could do it that day. Even threw in taking a look at my shower's plumbing because I mentioned the temp there was much lower than at the sink. The technician that came was great about showing me what he was doing with the shower so I could tweak it a bit more later if I needed to. Overall friendly experience and the price seemed competitive based on what I found. Been a few months now and no issues with the heater.

I was initially impressed with their responsiveness, however; Renato told me that the leak into the basement was coming from the shower wall tiles and/or possibly a crack in our tub. Fast forward 2 months and I hired a contractor to remove the existing tile and tub and replace them only to find out a leak is still there. Based on another plumber's assessment, the leak is actually in the shower pipes which can be accessed through the hallway wall so there was no need to spend $6k on a new shower and tub. When I called to have them come back to fix the leak, he said I should have hired them to do the plumbing work for the new shower and tub. In summary, I spent $6k based on their professional assessment on a repair that should have cost less and not involved replacing my whole shower and tub. I would never recommend them and wish I could hold them responsible for the unnecessary repairs that didn't even fix the issue. Very expensive lesson learned.

I sent out an urgent request to a number of plumbing companies on Yelp in the area. Renato was the first to respond and showed up exactly on time at 8:15 AM. As our toilet was backing up without an apparent clog, he attempted to snake the toilet before checking out the basement and discovering a much more serious problem that way beyond his company's ability. He recommended another company in the area and left with a smile and free of charge. If I had another household plumbing need, Bushi would be the first company I'd call.

Excellent response time, and an excellent job done! I'm in a two family w/ two heating units and was testing them for the soon to come winter, when they both would not turn on! Renato's team came out here today to take a look at my hot water heater. I called them in the morning and they were able to get here within the hour, recognize that my old heater needed replacing, and replaced it that afternoon! I'm really impressed with the efficiency, straight-forward communication, and professionalism. There was a lot of moving around things in my apartment to get the new heater in and the old one out, but they stayed and put everything back together exactly the way it was. This was the first time I've needed a plumber since living in Boston, but I know who I'll call with any future needs. Strongly recommend!

My experience with Bushi plumbing has been incredibly good.. Special thanks to Renato who came to see my water leakage issue within 12 hours.. Just one phone call, he asked my husband what's the issue and analyzed that it sounds urgent and scheduled a time to visit.. When he came he didn't jump directly to conclusion but ruled out all the possibilities and finally came up with the actual problem.. He left when he was sure that the problem is completely solved.. My previous plumber never showed up to fix my leaking kitchen faucet & broken spray hose. Thank goodness, I went to YELP and found Renato with Bushi Plumbing. I read excellent reviews about (Renato) Bushi Plumbing, so I contacted them. I emailed Bushi Plumbing on Mon night 1/6/20 approx 5:30 pm. My kitchen faucet spray hose broke & I had to turn the water off under sink. Renato immediately called me & said he had four other jobs to do on Tues (1/7/20) but he would work me in sometime on Tues 1/7/20. Then, very early on Tues (1/7/20), Renato called me at 7:30 AM & said he could be at my house by 8:00 AM. He came & looked at problem, then went to buy parts (new faucet & spray hose). He disconnected old faucet & spray hose, installed new faucet & spray hose, turned water back on .. checked for leaks. All good .. no problems. I was so happy because now I can use my kitchen sink. I would highly recommend Renato with Bushi Plumbing to all my family & friends. BEST service ever.

The heat in our rental unit died during a cold snap and we were in need of a quick fix for our tenants. Called around to multiple HVAC folks, many of whom didn't call me back. Renato answered his phone right away, explained he was with another customer but asked me to text him details. He met us at the property that afternoon. Our HVAC unit is in a very tight crawlspace and he joked it was the smallest he's seen. He assessed the situation, gave us a few options and an estimate. It being a Friday, he managed our expectations in that this could be a few days since he didn't have the parts he needed and needed to call around. We expected to hear from him on Monday but he called us the next day - on a Saturday - said the parts arrived early and he could do it all that afternoon. We met him there, he and his crew had the heat back on within a few hours and at the cost of the estimate given. They were very courteous and will call them again if needed (but not soon, please).

I don't often leave 5 star reviews but when a company is worthy of it, I do my best to do it, and Bushi Plumbing and Heating is definitely worthy of it. On a Saturday afternoon my gas boiler system started making loud banging and rattling noises. Keep in mind I just moved to Salem, MA from Phoenix, AZ where gas boilers aren't a thing, and after those recent gas explosions in this area, I was freaking out thinking my boiler was going to explode. The noises just didn't sound right so I tried calling multiple different companies that said they offered emergency service. The only company to get back to me was Bushi Plumbing. I explained the issue over the phone and he pretty much knew what the issue was before he even came out (air in my pipes). He told me it wasn't a serious issue but that he would come out. I gave him my address and he was at my house less than 30 minutes later. He flushed out all of my pipes in like an hour and the noise was gone. He was also able to inform me that 1 of the pumps out of my 6 zone house was broken and needed replacing that he could come back Monday to fix everything. I'm holding off on fixing it but will most likely call Bushi Plumbing back when I'm ready. When it comes to customer service and building customer loyalty, this guy is the best.
