I have used Badger Plumbing numerous times over the years and have been extremely pleased with the work they performed.

Loved working with Don and his son! I had a broken dishwasher, and I thought I would have to spend almost $1k to replace it. But Don & son saved the day! They were fast, efficient, and price was very reasonable. I'd recommend them to anyone who is in need of repairs.

It's a pleasure dealing with Petersen Home Solutions.  I found this company on Yelp where Jason responded to my inquiry quickly.  He went to our 2 flat apartment to respond to a tenant concern about a toilet that wouldn't flush.  Jason went to the property at the time he said he would be there.  He was awesome at communicating to me what he saw and assisted in making a good financial decision.  Although I made a choice to spend more money by doing the job right, I stand behind the fact that it was the right choice.  This is especially true because Jason takes a lot of pride in doing things correctly and he warranties his work.

If you want your work done correctly, I think Petersen Home Solutions in a smart call.  They even give you tips on how to maintain parts of your home so that repair costs are reduced.

We called Scott in the afternoon around 4 and he got back to us really quick. Within 2 hours. We were able to schedule an appt for the next morning. Scott was very punctual, friendly and professional.  Although our water problem didn't present itself when Scott was there, he attempted to try to fix the issue. He was also able to fix another minor issue I've been having with my shower water temperature. He charges reasonable and made aware that his hours could be flexible.  Scott has provided great service and I would highly recommend him!

This company is awesome!!! The night before I was about to leave on vacation I noticed that my garbage disposal way broken and clogged and emitting a foul odor. I scrambled to find someone on Yelp that could come first thing in the morning. The owner responded in minutes to my Yelp request and she moved things around to get my appointment before my flight. The technicians were right on time, did a great job (even explaining how everything worked) and made sure they left my home exactly the way it was. In and out in under an hour! Will definitely be calling back again!!!

Most people aren't aware that some of us still have grease traps in the basement, i had one! It exploded and distributed stinking grease all over my laundry room, foul odor! Called the first plumber (won't mention by name), who gave me a time but they were a no show! Started the search over and First Chance popped up, young man answered the phone, gave me the same day time appointment and he showed up! Thank God! He gave me an estimate, which I felt was reasonable, Daniel and Bob completed the work, which looks good and works perfectly! Highly recommend First Chance plumbers!

My sump pump went out in the middle of the night and they came out right away and fixed it

we had our laundry  pipes freeze-burst on Christmas Eve. of all the folks we reached out on Yelp , Eugene was the only one willing to come and fix the problem.   really appreciate the prompt response.   ( meanwhile out regular plumber called so we declined Eugene's help.   but he's on our list now)

Our basement sump pump was making a noise do to it's age so we had CCP come out and replace it. We are extremely happy with the work that was done. We can now sleep peacefully at night without the old pumps noise. Also their rates are reasonable. Very nice and respectful plumber. I highly recommend this plumbing company. I'll post some pictures my wife took.

I will never use or recommend your company. The customer service I have experienced here is poor and shameful. I asked the appointment setter how much it would cost to have a techincian to bring a camera out to my house she said it would be free I repeatedly asked and confirmed multiple times the service would be for free. I explained I know this type of service can NOT be free but again I was met with reassurance that the USE of the camera was free I stated right off the bat that I would not hire the company to do the plumbing I would be doing it on my own I just needed someone to come out with a camera. since the person on the other end repeatedly told me it was free I scheduled the appointment after taking half of the day off the technician never showed. I called the company and was basically treated like idiot. I was told that the conversation I had the night before about the use of the camera for free never took place. The Supervisor I spoke with wouldn't even give me his name. I find this company has poor customer service I am a contractor and I will make it my business that none of my customers or their families ever use your company.

The guy is always bug eyed and had a white powder substance all over his nose.
His wife wasn't much help because she doesn't know how to spell or text.
Aggravating service. Not worth it. Find actual Professional people who are up to date with plumbing... He still thinks it's the late 70s.

Since my first review was removed by yelp, let's try again.

the positives: Kuhn has friendly staff who promptly responds to calls. Also, they begrudgingly gave us a small token refund after it took three trips to fix a sump pump issue which in the end cost us as much as a new one.

So heed my warning: if you are going to consider doing business with Kuhn, first, make sure to get competitive quotes. Their hourly rate is quite high. And second, do your due diligence when engaging their services by asking questions and not just taking what they say at face value.

Beware of back end pricing.
Purchased a home that needed major renovations. Was quoted over $2000. I agreed. When work was done the technician  said he found more wrk that needed to be done. His boss came out and quoted me  $600 for new work. Okay, fine. Set up time, technician came out for second round of repairs and low and behold they said all my pipes needed to be replaced and quoted me a range of $2000  - $3000. Get the hell outta here! I immediately dismissed them from my list of contractors and hired another plumber who did the repairs for $650 and passed all village inspections.
Beware of back end pricing. They will get you with a reasonable price and find something MAJOR and try to screw you with an even higher price. Get multiple, multiple bids before going with cal city.

I recently contacted escobar construction to fix my attic excellent experience the contractor Cristian Escobar was very detailed with the estimate since the beginning that's what calls my attention when they were here in my house they cover everything no dust were going into the rest of the house they cleaned every single day they worked I have no complaints at all these people are very humble professional responsible. I recommend this company and Cristian Escobar the manager contractor 100% satisfaction

The plumber was efficient, knowledgable, and nice. The two problems with my sink seemed to be fixed but a couple months later one issue returned (reduced cold water pressure). They came back, discovered the root cause (a coil thing that kinked up over time), replaced another part and did not charge me. I appreciate that they guarantee their work. The guy who came the second time was also very nice and knowledgable and he spent a lot of time investigating the mystery cause of the problem.

This company isn't actually a local plumbing company and is just a shell. They're Beverly plumbing and asked me how to spell Damen Avenue. They told me they'd contact a tech and and get back to me about how fast someone could get out to me. Ten minutes later I called back and asked for an update and they had forgotten and asked me to call back in another two minutes

Terry Cox and his so called partner, Ray prey on the elderly. They were referred by a City of Chicago water inpector to do a big plumbing job for my father, whom is a retired City of Chicago worker. The first estimate was $7,000, the next day my dad was presented with a contract of $22,000 for repairs, which he paid. However, they left the place in shambles everyday with exposed safety hazards.   3 day job took 2 weeks with daily issues that were popping up to add to my father's total expenses. Several complaint calls were made to Terry Cox the owner, he would screen his calls and returnm the calls two to three days later. When Terry Cox went out of town, Ray his nephew requested an additional $2200 in cash from my father and begged my father not to let the owner Terry Cox know of this transaction. Once Terry was notified he came on site, he stated he would replace the concrete porch and the landscaping due to the unprofessional behavior from his nephew. They replaced the porch with no support and the landscaping is less than, to say the least. There are large spaces between the concrete and the dirt. There is even a family of stray cats living in the space. When we threatened litigation, Ray called and used profanity and was threatening towards two family members. We are now pursuing action with the BBB and Lisa Madigan's office and have contacted several news stations' investigative reporters. These thieves that prey on the elderly need to be put out of business!!!!!
