Mr. Paxson did an excellent job!  We had three receptacles, two fans, and three switches installed.  Mr. Paxson gave us a very good estimate, and stayed in contact with us as we decided what to have done.  
On the day the work was completed he showed up on time.  
All of the work is top notch!
As the work was completed he kept the area very clean.
Everything was done within three hours.

If you are looking for honest hard working electricians this is the place to call. I have been using them for at least 15 years and would trust them 100%. They are the type of guys I have no problem leaving in my house alone if I needed to run out while they were working. The work is good and they will not sell you something you don't need.

My dining room light went out suddenly and I needed to have a flood light replaced. This happened on a Saturday, Eligio returned my inquiry that same day and came out on a Sunday afternoon. Great young man. Fast, courteous and reasonable. He far exceeded my expectation. I already have him lined up to do other projects around my home!!! I truly appreciate him coming out and getting the work done. Quality!

We had an electric heater and new blow dryer on at the same time tripping a circuit breaker that was overloaded and warm to touch. He was available quickly and explained the situation. I would call him again for any other electrical need.

Fast and courteous service!  I've had a couple of calls out for electrical service in my unit after a serious roof leak.  I've  been impressed with the level of service and diligence at finding the root cause of the electrical issues.

Had a GFCI trip during the night for no apparent reason, nothing running at the time.
Called to request that it be checked out. Showed up within 20 minutes, did a thorough evaluation and very reassuring.
Will definitely add to my address book for future use.

If a zero was possible, that is what I would give this contractor.  I hired him to install under cabinet lights.  He came out with an obviously untrained apprentice who did all of the work while he sat and barked out orders -- screaming at him much of the time.  At one point the apprentice was lost and did not know what to do.  Rather than helping him, he responded -- figure it out idiot and sat there staring at him.  Eventually, I started helping the apprentice myself.  He then billed me over a $1000.  Shortly after I received the bill, he called demanding payment.  I explained that I felt I was overbilled.  But, I agreed to pay him $700 that night if he would consider it payment in full.  He agreed, but has continued sending me invoices for allegedly past due amounts and has even filed a mechanics lien on my house.  Do not use this bully.

I agree with the previous review. Don't be wary of this guy. Just don't do business with him. He also asked us for 60% in advance. OK, I wasn't born yesterday. Nobody asks for 60% in advance. I asked him why it was so high. He said he had to buy supplies. We were installing lighting that we purchased. So what are we talking about - some electrical boxes and some wire?
He was supposed to be at our house at 10am. He called at 9:45 and said that he had some calls that delayed him and that he'd be about 2 hours late. He showed up at 12:30. Then he said that the lights (that I purchased from a reputable lighting company) were no good and that he couldn't install them. I went out to Home Depot and purchased 3 lights for the front closet. He didn't even try to put those in. He just left and said to call him when I had lights for the other closets. Why didn't he even try to put the other light in?
I went out that night and purchased 3 other lights from the lighting company we had previously been to and called Dino to let him know that we had new lighting. We set up an appointment for 1pm on Friday. Dino texted me on Thursday night to confirm that we were still on for Friday. I told him that we were still on.
At 11:26 Dino texted me that he had an emergency panel upgrade and that he would be 2 hours late. 2 hours late seems to be standard for him. Now I am not one of those people who carry my phone with me everywhere I go so I was unable to respond immediately to Dino. By the time I responded to him, he said that he had already made other plans and that he couldn't be sitting around waiting for my reply. Oh, sitting around like I had done for 2 days waiting for him to show up?
He offered to come to the house at 8am the next day (Saturday). Although I was extremely leery at this point, I told him that he could come to the house and finish the job. I told him that I expected him at 8am and that this was his final chance to do the job.
He went ballistic (just as the previous reviewer said, this nut job has a temper) and told me to keep the job and get somebody else to do it. Then he told me that he was going to put a lien on the house for the work done. Then he said that he was going to call the village because I didn't get permits. Let's see, if I needed permits to put lights in, don't you think my licensed electrician should have told me that?
Stay far, far away from this lunatic.

I hired Advanced Area Serv Corp to do the complete wiring for my 900 Sq Ft Master Bedroom Suite Addition. They were totally awesome! They accommodated my schedule and arrived on time. They completed the work on time and diligently cleaned behind themselves. I was impressed with their professionalism and would highly recommend them to all my family and friends

UNBELIEVABLE!! They blew off my appointment and had the nerve to blame it on me!  I made an appointment, called the day before to confirm, and even asked them to call if they couldn't make it.  No call, no show.  They later posted a response to my review on Angie's List blaming me for poor planning.  Stay away!
