Mr Paxson was very professional. He arrived on time, provided a written estimate via email, followed his estimate, was polite, cleaned up his mess... fantastic experience!

My parents' electricity was going out for the past couple of days due to the circuit breakers being loose.  I decided it was time to get an electrician to evaluate the situation and see what was going on. The house and the entire electrical system is original from the 1980's.  I came across Electric City and they had very good reviews so I decided to call them.

The electrician who showed up turned out to be the owner. He was very friendly from the start. I explained to him the situation and he immediately got to troubleshooting. He was able to determine the situation right away and explained to me everything he was seeing.

He was very honest in determining what needed to be replaced and what can stay. He even mentioned that it would be best to replace the entire box and all of its components but he would save me the money and get everything to be in excellent condition again.  

Overall, he replaced only what needed to be replaced and did it as if he was working at his own home.  Very honest work ethics and customer service. Price was very reasonable as well. Couldn't be any happier that I chose Electra City. Keep up the good work!

so many years with this company and started to fall by the wayside when i had to wait without responses when to replace ceiling light....no response .... called again and again....no response....i gave the bozo all my light bulbs and ceiling fixtures and more because i thought he would appreciate my generosity not for a lesser charge but just because he might use the beautiful fixtures i couldn't use in my current condo!
alas, i was ignored and all i needed was to replace the fluorescent light in my kitchen!  stupid ignorant did me a favor when i also needed partition removed and the electrical remodel who he referred didn't even have a license!  i say fu norb....did me a favor and a safety net!  dmn it all!!!!

We are so happy with the electrical work we had done! Every person we spoke to and who came to our home was so friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything that needed to happen. A special shout-out to Eric for doing such great work and being lovely to work with.

I purchased a mirror from Wayfair and added on installation. No one  ever showed up. I was so upset and cancelled the installation with them. I reached out to Eligio, and he contacted me right away. Thankfully, he was able to come out the same day. He installed the mirror in such a short amount of time and was super professional. I highly recommend him!

I hired these guys to do a whole bunch of small electrical jobs at our new house. Geronimo provided a quote via Yelp which seemed like a very fair price; not the cheapest but it was on the less expensive side of the quotes I received.

They were right on time, COVID aware, and did the work with care and attention to detail. It's clear that Geronimo and his team take pride in doing a quality job. Communication over Yelp and text was also clear and courteous. I don't think there's much more you could ask for, really.

Fast and courteous service!  I've had a couple of calls out for electrical service in my unit after a serious roof leak.  I've  been impressed with the level of service and diligence at finding the root cause of the electrical issues.

Had a GFCI trip during the night for no apparent reason, nothing running at the time.
Called to request that it be checked out. Showed up within 20 minutes, did a thorough evaluation and very reassuring.
Will definitely add to my address book for future use.

We hired Brian to complete a punch list of electrical items. The written contract that was agreed upon was for around $3800. The work was supposed to be completed around October 15th per the contract.  It didn't get done til February 12th.  That's FOUR months late.

Now let's talk about money. The final bill ended up being $13,500.00. That's not a typo. Thirteen thousand five hundred dollars. We were shocked when we received the bill. We asked him what happened to the contract. He said there were other issues that had to be corrected and the contract says any other issues are billed at $90/ hour. Fair enough, but the first time he told us about the other issues is when the final invoice was rendered. We never even had a chance to authorize or approve these additional issues to be corrected.

This guy pretty much ripped a page out of our checkbook and wrote himself a blank check. DO NOT let this happen to you. Never sign an open ended contract with this contractor or any other contractor, otherwise, you will be the one to get shocked at the end.

Had some outlets that were out and one that needed to be fixed! They fixed everything in half an hour and very reasonable pricing! They even called me the next day that I first called to let me know someone canceled and they could come today! Compared to others this was a great price! They were on time and worked quickly! Will use them for remodel!!

Dino was great to work with!! We needed a lot of work done at our church. Outside lights, ceiling fans, install a light in a closet and replace fluorescent lights with LED. His work was top notch. He even was nice enough to pick up the ceiling fans I ordered from Home Depot. I would not trust anyone else to do my electrical work.

I would never recommend Advance Area Service to anyone! The worker
who appears to be the person who operates this business was extremely
rude, and unprofessional. I recommended his services to assist an elderly family member, and he treated her like crap. He was rude, disrespectful, and
crass. He speaks to his customers with a negative tone and does not like
you asking him questions about the job you paid him for. He takes advantage of elderly people, by taking their money and informing them if there is a problem with his work, he will continue to charge them if he has to come back to correct his mistakes or inadequacies. He is particularly impolite to women, especially elderly ones. Be aware of this business and its services!!!!!!!!

Ed makes appointment, may or may not call to confirm them, may or may not show up for appointments, and in my case did both and left the project with things not working. I didn't realize things were not working until after he was gone. I see many of you had good experiences; I am highly disappointed! And yes he was paid 100%.
