Mr Paxson was very professional. He arrived on time, provided a written estimate via email, followed his estimate, was polite, cleaned up his mess... fantastic experience!

If you are looking for someone who is honest, fair and knows what he's doing then Eddie is your guy. He came out to help me with some electric work in my crawlspace and garage. Eddie gave me options rather than quoting me the highest price. I recommend this company for anyone looking for a reasonable quote for quality work.

Jack is one of the best out there.  This is a guy that goes above and beyond for his clients.  We started working with him when we were considering installing a window-mounted AC; he came out at my convenience (I work late, and he worked with me to find an appointment time) and he carefully walked me through what would need to be done.  Best of all, he worked with me to contain costs.  He immediately followed up with a written email confirmation of what we discussed and his bid proposal - all at no charge, of course.  

As we continued to investigate, we decided not to go forward with that project for other reasons, but given our great first experience with Jack, when we needed someone to help us install some interesting ceiling fans, we gave him a call.  As usual, we got a very prompt response - he is so courteous and friendly!  He worked with our condo's very strict insurance and licensing requirements, and did it all with good humor.  When Jack came out, he finished the installation quickly; because of an an issue with our old building, however, he could not install one of the device box that came with one of the fans.  So what did he do? He ordered the right part for us.  When that took too long to arrive, he (on his own accord) stopped by Home Depot and picked up a few potential options, then dropped them by our house. I thought we'd be able to manage this last step on my own, but when we couldn't, he came right out again and fixed everything - at no charge.  This guy is a real keeper.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to everyone and anyone. In all of our recent home improvement projects, Jack is the best experience I've had with any contractor.

We hired Eligio to install tile in our kitchen. It was a medium-sized job on four walls using subway tile but required quite a bit of attention because of the high level of visibility.

He was very meticulous about his work and ensured that everything was measured and installed very carefully. He was kind, courteous, clean, and was very respectful in our busy home. The work was excellent, and we were very happy with the quality of his work. He spends the time necessary to do the job correctly rather than so many other contractors who do rush jobs without paying attention to details. I highly recommend him.

These guys are great! I called them to help with a chandelier installation. My appointment was for 9AM and they arrived right on time which was greatly appreciated.

To set up the appointment, I was able to message them on Yelp and provide pictures of what I needed installed. They were able to give me a quote before coming out to my home which I really appreciated (I had called other electricians who were not able to quote but had essentially a scheduling fee to come see the job without giving any expectation of what the actual cost of the job would be). These guys were extremely professional. I liked them so much that I had decided to install a dimmer which they brought to my place and installed in less than 30 minutes the next day.

I highly recommend using Gadertech Electric when searching for an electrician. They have very fair prices for their jobs, are timely, and professional.

This is the company to call!   We had a problem with some outlets that two family electricians and a reputable handyman could not find or fix. We called Olson on Monday morning, and from that first call to Steve I was obvious that  he fully understood the issue and had experience with correcting it.  He gave us a time estimate for later that same day, and exceeded even that.  

I called at 9, the technician arrived at 1:30, and by 2:30 the problem was solved.

When Paul arrived, he was very polite and professional. The company had discussed what was necessary, so he arrived with knowledge of what was required, and got right to work.  

I cannot stress enough the high degree of competence, and professionalism, displayed by everyone at Olson, and the price was very fair.  

Save yourself the worry and hassle and just call Olson.

Fast and courteous service!  I've had a couple of calls out for electrical service in my unit after a serious roof leak.  I've  been impressed with the level of service and diligence at finding the root cause of the electrical issues.

Had a GFCI trip during the night for no apparent reason, nothing running at the time.
Called to request that it be checked out. Showed up within 20 minutes, did a thorough evaluation and very reassuring.
Will definitely add to my address book for future use.

The owner, Brian, of Aspire Electric has a really bad attitude, bad temper, tough to deal with.  I've dealt with many electricians, and this was one of the worst.  As one of the other reviewers mentioned, do not sign an open contract.  Have a specific price detailed out on what is and is not included, and any changes should be approved with a change request.

If a zero was possible, that is what I would give this contractor.  I hired him to install under cabinet lights.  He came out with an obviously untrained apprentice who did all of the work while he sat and barked out orders -- screaming at him much of the time.  At one point the apprentice was lost and did not know what to do.  Rather than helping him, he responded -- figure it out idiot and sat there staring at him.  Eventually, I started helping the apprentice myself.  He then billed me over a $1000.  Shortly after I received the bill, he called demanding payment.  I explained that I felt I was overbilled.  But, I agreed to pay him $700 that night if he would consider it payment in full.  He agreed, but has continued sending me invoices for allegedly past due amounts and has even filed a mechanics lien on my house.  Do not use this bully.

Dino asked for 1/2 upfront 500$ night before job.  Then didn't show up day of !  Didn't answer phone!  Or text for 24 hours!   Next day after I canceled payment with pay pal he called to say couldn't do job with out the money that we have in limbo now?  And he caught a 24 hour bug ! (After doing what ever he does Friday nights!) Didn't apologize at all for anything .  In fact he then told me he would return money but he had to call back all the other clients that called him FIRST!  I had to 3 way him and pay pal to get him to believe me telling him  that he could return money without it taking 30 days!   Then he did not before starting to sware over the phone that I can just get my money and pay him in check.   Careful he can get a temper!   This morning PayPal informed me his return was denied due to INSUFFICIENT FUNDS !  6 days after I payed him he still didn't have my money knowing the return was coming!!  Never mentioned he spent the money.  I gave him every chance to at least be honest and he lied the whole way.  He texted us this morning in response to us Leaving a very unhappy message . And He texted back That we screw** him!!!  ?   And he refused tell us where are money went.      
BEWARE.  SCAM ARTIST.   LIAR.   CHEAT!!!!!!

I would never recommend Advance Area Service to anyone! The worker
who appears to be the person who operates this business was extremely
rude, and unprofessional. I recommended his services to assist an elderly family member, and he treated her like crap. He was rude, disrespectful, and
crass. He speaks to his customers with a negative tone and does not like
you asking him questions about the job you paid him for. He takes advantage of elderly people, by taking their money and informing them if there is a problem with his work, he will continue to charge them if he has to come back to correct his mistakes or inadequacies. He is particularly impolite to women, especially elderly ones. Be aware of this business and its services!!!!!!!!

STAY FAR AWAY from this business.  They are offering deals on Groupon and Amazon Local and not even responding to calls for quotes, etc...  They  will offer you an appointment over a month away and then simply not show up.  It is excuse after excuse from this company and their secretary is completely incompetent!!!!!!!  They don't even deserve a star.  They should not be allowed to operate a business in the State of Illinois or any other state for that matter and if enough people file complaints hopefully they won't!!!!!!!
