We called him on a Saturday morning and he was here within 2 hours.  We needed a new breaker and he took the time to return to his shop and find the one we needed even though our electric panel is old and those breakers are hard to find.  He did find it and had our air conditioner working in no time.  His rate was reasonable and he was very professional.  We will definitely be calling him again for any electrical issues.  We highly recommended him!

Chris came out in a timely manner and did some great work. I had shopped around on other referral sites for electricians in this area as I recently moved out here. Many of the other referral sites must charge an arm and a leg because they were all rip off salesman that didn't really know the job but felt comfortable overcharging. Chris is an expert in his field and I would highly recommend him. Very knowledgeable and explains his work very well. Good to find an honest expert.

Our entire house needed an electrical upgrade.  This included the panel, re-wiring, changing outlets, switches, adding lights outside and bringing house to current code.
We got our quote from Gary with D&G - he was very fair and understood the scope of work we needed.  He also explained the work to us as we did not fully understand everything that was involved with this type of upgrade.

We had the upgrade done in May 2015, the electricians that are employed by D&G are some of the nicest guys I have met.  The explained everything, answered questions and even took the time to sweep the floor!  That is an A++++ company.  They made me feel at ease the entire time and I would highly recommend them for any electrical need you have.

They will be back when we add lighting and dishwasher in the kitchen.

I was referred to Albert through a guaranteed professional referral service. I needed help after my husband tried switching a light dimmer on his own. I asked him for a quote but he said he couldn't provide one over the phone.

He offered to come right over to my West Loop condo. He brought his son to assist him. He did fix my light switch and also changed four light bulbs for me. They were polite.

After about 45 minutes of work (most of which was waiting for his son to grab me another light bulb for my bedroom closet), he charged me $550. That's right... $550 to change a dimmer switch. Highly rated handymen here on Yelp only charge $85-95 an hour. Even with a two hour minimum, it would have been less expensive to book them and watch Bravo reruns together for 1.5 hours.

I asked him for a quote to install two lighting fixtures where there already was connection wiring. He quoted me $400. Literally, just to hang two fixtures! One of which just screws under my kitchen cabinets!

My husband called him and asked him to explain the charges and he kept changing his stories. Under no circumstances would I recommend this electrician.

Jason did an outstanding job with a variety of electrical projects at my business on the north side of Chicago. His superior attention to detail, precision with the work, and thoroughness completing each piece of the project were absolutely impressive.

This company was recommended through our Condo Association after I experienced electrical flickering issues for several days.  ComEd found no issues w/ outside wiring leading up to our 12 unit building...Contacted Village Square Electric, had owner Steve Holdefer check out circuit breaker box (indoor) and then main breaker (outside).  Outside breaker found to be faulty and was replaced.  No issues...problem resolved.  Steve was courteous, took time to explain every procedure he took in layman's language...Price was fair (I researched other electrical companies before calling Village)...Would definitely use this vendor again without hesitation.

Eduardo and his father were extremely professional and kept up on clear communication. Being an older house they ran into unforeseen issues yet they clearly explained every step. They had to cut away a nicely finished cabinet to hide the box from a finished basement. They not only explained clearly the need they also found a carpenter to refinish the the cabinet and allow access to the box and pass inspection as I am selling the house. Despite all the issues they ran into given a 40 year old house they held to their original estimate!!! I highly recommend Supreme Electrical and will use them again!

Took a down payment from me to buy lights. Strung me along for a few months. Wouldn't return my calls. When I threatened him with small claims court, he returned my call and promised me he would return my down payment. Haven't heard from him since. Im in the process of filing with small claims court to get my money back.

Lexis Property Services rocks!!  Best company around !!! Kudos to them. We couldn't be happier with the work Phillip and krystle do. Communication was top notch, they were great listeners. They kept things very clean inside and out. They were on time and treated me like I was the only job they was working on that week, which could be a problem with other contractors. Phillip is very knowledgeable about many different types of construction projects and look at the details of what is needed. These people work as a team!!! If you want phenomenal work done Phillip and krystle are the people for the job. I actually recommend them to everyone I know when it come to any project.

I had an emergency job as I was desperate to restore power in my investment property that has 2 tenants. A&K came over early in the morning to perform an assessment. I was quoted $8,870 to complete a re-wiring of the outside of the 2-flat building. When I asked other electricians, they told me that quote was considerably over priced, but as I was in an emergency situation, I was compelled to take the offer. A&K completed the work and the power was restored.

Before the A&K electrician left, he told me that I needed additional work done that would require him to return. His quote was $3,800. Because this was not an emergency situation, I had time to ask around again for other quotes and then wait for the availability of another electrician to complete the work. I was quoted $600 for the job by a licensed, bonded electrician.

Beware of A&K as they will over-charge!
