When we lost power to part of our house and smelled burning plastic in the wall, W R Tesla Electric did not delay in coming to our assistance.  The previous electrician we were dealing with, despite us letting them know we smelled smoke, pushed us back a week.  W R Tesla Electric came about an hour later and identified and neutralized the problem immediately and noticed several things wrong that needed to be fixed for safety that the previous electrical company never mentioned once.  They also worked with our insurance company to ensure the adjuster understood the issue so we would be properly compensated.

We are very happy we called W R Tesla Electric and will be sure to call them again in the future.  If you are looking for a dependable electrician with unbeatable prices, we highly recommend them!

Chris came out in a timely manner and did some great work. I had shopped around on other referral sites for electricians in this area as I recently moved out here. Many of the other referral sites must charge an arm and a leg because they were all rip off salesman that didn't really know the job but felt comfortable overcharging. Chris is an expert in his field and I would highly recommend him. Very knowledgeable and explains his work very well. Good to find an honest expert.

Our entire house needed an electrical upgrade.  This included the panel, re-wiring, changing outlets, switches, adding lights outside and bringing house to current code.
We got our quote from Gary with D&G - he was very fair and understood the scope of work we needed.  He also explained the work to us as we did not fully understand everything that was involved with this type of upgrade.

We had the upgrade done in May 2015, the electricians that are employed by D&G are some of the nicest guys I have met.  The explained everything, answered questions and even took the time to sweep the floor!  That is an A++++ company.  They made me feel at ease the entire time and I would highly recommend them for any electrical need you have.

They will be back when we add lighting and dishwasher in the kitchen.

Living in a home for 25 years you run across a lot of bad contractors.  Ron is the best.  He calls you back in a timely fashion,  he will come out to your house within a day or 2, and his prices are fair.  He knows what he is talking about and not the kind of guy to make things up for extra costs.

I needed someone to hook up a new spa.  I used to have a spa with 60 AMP service a few years ago and wiring (disconnected from the Circuit panel)) run to near the new spa which required 40 AMP service.

Patrick told me I needed to replace the 60 AMP breaker with a 40 AMP.  I texted him a photo, explained it was a Siemens breaker box and asked him to pick one up on his drive to my house (Glenbard Electric was on his way and he would know what to ask for).  Instead he showed at my house, up looked at the wiring outside and left to go shopping - I'm guessing he showed up first so he could start his billing clock.
After an hour or so of shopping, he returned and examined the breaker box then declared the work too difficult - he would need to cut away my wall where it joins to the ceiling.  I asked if he would reassemble the wall that he felt he needed to cut away.  Patrick explained that he was an electrician, not a carpenter and it would be my responsibility to patch up my wall/ceiling.  I explained that I did not want to be left with a big ugly hole in my wall/ceiling to which he responded that I already had a big ugly hole in my wall.  He explained that my job would take longer than he expected and a more important customer was waiting for him.
It was at this point that I asked him to leave.

$340 for a service call, 1+ hour for shopping, complaining and a 40 AMP GFCI breaker.  Patrick completed no work but was quick to give me his invoice when I kicked him out.
I will never call this jerk again.

The upshot:  I (a computer consultant) fixed the wiring that was too hard for Patrick:
I reset the junction box in the wall and restrung wires through conduit between the junction box and the circuit panel about 1 foot away.  I did have to stand on a ladder and buy a fitting from Home Depot, but did not have to cut away the wall/ceiling.   I bill my clients by the hour and have no problem paying for good service.  However, I have little patience for someone who pads his bill and complains when the work is slightly more than trivial.

This company was recommended through our Condo Association after I experienced electrical flickering issues for several days.  ComEd found no issues w/ outside wiring leading up to our 12 unit building...Contacted Village Square Electric, had owner Steve Holdefer check out circuit breaker box (indoor) and then main breaker (outside).  Outside breaker found to be faulty and was replaced.  No issues...problem resolved.  Steve was courteous, took time to explain every procedure he took in layman's language...Price was fair (I researched other electrical companies before calling Village)...Would definitely use this vendor again without hesitation.

Eduardo and his father were extremely professional and kept up on clear communication. Being an older house they ran into unforeseen issues yet they clearly explained every step. They had to cut away a nicely finished cabinet to hide the box from a finished basement. They not only explained clearly the need they also found a carpenter to refinish the the cabinet and allow access to the box and pass inspection as I am selling the house. Despite all the issues they ran into given a 40 year old house they held to their original estimate!!! I highly recommend Supreme Electrical and will use them again!

Took a down payment from me to buy lights. Strung me along for a few months. Wouldn't return my calls. When I threatened him with small claims court, he returned my call and promised me he would return my down payment. Haven't heard from him since. Im in the process of filing with small claims court to get my money back.

These people are a fraud. Do not work with Krystle Stiff or Phillip Sanders. We signed a contract, paid thousands of dollars and have not been able to get a hold of anyone. They started work in Sept. Today is Nov 11 and the only thing done is demo in kitchen, living and dining room. Its been two weeks since they have responded to any communication.

Excellent workers. They are quick and hard working. They don't play games with their customers. Our work was done professionally ahead of time and the final product was very clean.
