Kohring Electric

Best local electrician in Palatine.  Very reasonably priced and know.  I had two light fixtures replaced and and outlet repaired. Have used this business many times and will use them many more.

This is our second time working with mike and both times he has been honest and timely getting out to us.  He is our go to guy!

Mike is a great guy, he showed up and solved my wiring problems in my kitchen and did a few odds and ends for me as well. He charged a fair price of $95 for my issues. I wish he had more availability but that's what happens when you've got great service.

Mike is a friendly, knowledgeable, and considerate installer.  He always takes the time to explain possible options and provides pros and cons to each.  Mike installed two chandeliers, two ceiling fans, some outlet boxes, and other odd jobs around my house.  His schedule was flexible and he worked extremely efficiently.  I would highly recommend his services.

Charged me for 5 hours or work, when he was on the phone not working on my project for at least an hour, and also charged me for his time when he had to correct a mistake he made.
That's a lot of money to pay hourly.

Mike is about as friendly as you can get. He knows his stuff and set me up with a great 200 A service upgrade and a generator subpanel for a fair price. Inspector complimented his worked.

He's tall and thin so he can reach places more easily, making him efficient and happier being that he's further away from ground pesticides and radon.

I cannot recommend Kohring Electric enough!  I have had some less than favorable experiences with several other electricians I contacted for my job (installing multiple new light fixtures and repairing an existing one), particularly when it came to reliability.  I contacted Kohring earlier this week and actually spoke to Mike on the first try.  I had some time constraints and he met them.  Moreover, he called when he said he would and he showed up prepared when he said he would which went a long way with me.  As far as his work - efficient, effective, tidy, high quality, professional, fully equipped, reasonably priced and, last but not least, very pleasant - everything and more that you could want from an electrician or any professional working in your home.  I would never use anyone but Kohring Electric going forward and will enthusiastically and confidently recommend him to family and friends.  He exceeded expectations and I am thrilled!  Thanks Mike and Kohring Electric!
