I have been using Drain Genie since I became a homeowner in 2009. They are honest, professional, and always available when in need. I started using them after I was quoted an estimate of almost $800 by a chain competitor who wanted to rip up my tile to solve a problem that Drain Genie fixed in less than an hour for a fraction of the cost. I will continue to use and refer everyone I know to support this local business!

Alfonso is Amazing. Called with a broken pipe on a weekend, out on Sunday morning, fixed in less than an hour, and I have water again. Very reasonable pricing, no trying to sell me services, just plain honest work. I will be using them again for a planned project.

I happened to be looking for a plumber on the internet and read many different reviews. I ran across the ad for All Service Plumbing with excellent reviews so, I decided to call the number listed. I was so impressed how polite and courteous Brian was and talked to me about the problem I was having with our kitchen sink. He told me that he would come out and look at it. My husband and I were so pleased to meet him and Rich who came with him. He did a terrific job and very reasonable because it took him a couple hours and we could see when he was working on the problem he was so patient. He didn't leave our home until we were fully satisfied and now he will be coming back one day this week to do other work for us. We have found a wonderful plumber and we will always call him for work when we need work done because he is a excellent plumber. Thank you so much Brian for the great job you did for us.

Long story short...I fell through my front door and wrecked the jam and trim. Mark came out and put the puzzle back together and left it looking like nothing had ever happened. Always a pleasure to watch someone who knows what they are doing work. Well worth the price and I will be keeping Action Handy Man in mind for future repairs on my home.
Thanks again Mark!
Thanks again Mark!

Bought a low profile microwave from Home Depot and paid for installation only to be told they couldn't do it because the backboard wasn't drywall or wood. I looked for a solution and Nolan responded promptly and installed it with ease. He was very thorough and professional throughout the whole process.

I use Protec for everything these days. I started using them when my water heater needed a repair, and then for my air conditioner checkups and repairs and now for my plumbing issues.
I am part of Protec's comfort club, which gives me ten percent off of their other services when I need something done. This has been beneficial. I joined the comfort club when I started using them for my air conditioner check ups. They have been very helpful and in fact, through them, I had a new air conditioner installed. My two units are still working and the new unit has an exceptional warranty.
Protec is good about making their appointments on time. They give you a three hour window and typically a heads up when they're on their way. They work late too, which is nice cuz things like broken water heaters and non functioning AC units are kind of an emergency. I do recommend them. All the technicians have been wonderful. The AC guys got a dead squirrel out of my attic. The plumbers came for a second visit when they found out my issue was not 100% solved and they did not charge an assessment fee for the second visit. I only had one guy track some mud into my house while he was working on things.
Aside from that, their office is very helpful and gets back to you almost immediately. I had one issue over Memorial Day when they didn't call me back. Apparently they were on the phone for two days straight with other customers calling in and did not have a chance to check their voice mail. So if you don't hear back within two hours, call again. I've had a lot more luck with their online contact system via email.
They are very good about emailing, calling and texting. I have electronic copies of all my bills. They also keep records at the office.
I found Protec in a file folder from the prior owner of this home- he bought the water heater from them. And they have regarded me as the initial owner despite the handoff. I had no issues with them servicing their product even though I'm the second owner. What a great company.

I had Five Star Plumbing out after a recommendation from a neighbor in Apopka. They were able to fix the toilets I needed fixing and also replaced my hot water heater, fitting me into their schedule the same day after hearing I was from out of town which I really appreciate. Fair pricing and professional. I am very happy with the service I received and I will definitely use them again.

Great company! The owner Neil and the tech Anthony Long were very helpful and took care of our problem right away. Terrific service, fair pricing. We will use them from now on when we need plumbing services - highly recommended!
2649 Pemberton Dr, Apopka, FL 32703
Peter was excellent to deal with. He pulled permits and followed thru during each inspection to assure our project went well. He remodeled our master bath plumbing, moved water lines for our laundry room, and added lines for our half bath. Solid work, good guy and a decent price. We definitely will call if we need any other plumbing work done!

Thank you to Gary and his worker. They arrived on time. I scheduled with his office several days in advanced because my schedule was limited. They fixed everything we needed. Very professional and kind, trustworthy individuals.

If you are in a time crunch DO NOT hire Holland Plumbing. The owner said he would be here on Friday, two employees showed up on Thursday. I had a 1 PM appointment which I missed, the employees left at 1:05 said they might be back on Friday. Monday was a holiday. Tuesday the owner showed up, said he would be here the following Monday at 8 AM. That Monday it was raining. I told myself they weren't coming. Around 10 AM the two employees showed up and about 4 1/2 hours later I finally had water.
A few days later I had a broken water pipe, there was an argument over who was at fault. Holland Plumbing said they would fix the pipe. As before they have not called and have not shown up. I called another plumber who showed up when he said he would and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes.
When they worked, Holland Plumbing did a great job, they need better management skills.

Never, ever, use Frank Gay Plumbing. Although the work seems to have been completed properly (time will tell) their business and billing practices seem to be on the borderline, if not over the line into unethical.
Naturally, my air conditioning went out Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning I called Frank Gay Plumbing and requested a service technician. The technician came out and determined that one of my zones was not functioning properly. His very first order of business was to sell me the yearly homeowners inspection plan for my air conditioning system. I relented because I had not had them properly inspected in the last two years. This $400 charge supposedly gets me a discount on their other services and an inspection of my various systems (see below). In addition I was charged almost $400 to refill the system until they could come out on Tuesday to repair the system. This was over and above the Sunday trip fee which I fully expected.
Tuesday the primary technician and his helper arrived and told me that they would be doing a Isolation Leak Test to include the outside condenser, the lines leading to the air handler, and the air handler itself. The technician advised me that they would test all three systems and that the charge would be $1100. The technician, knowing the systems, checked air handler and found the leak within 20 minutes. I was advised that it didn't matter if it took 20 minutes or 24 hours the charge was the same and could not be mitigated or modified to reflect work actually performed. I subsequently talked to the billing clerk at Frank Gay and explained that this was an outrageous amount for 20 minutes worth of work and was bordering on criminal. She indicated that that was their charge and that she would talk to management. In addition I found that they had billed me an entirely separate $158 trip fee for coming out on Tuesday to repair and install the necessary parts I had paid for in advance. I questioned this fee stating that I should not have to pay it especially since they billed me for parts and labor to repair what they had diagnosed previously. I later received a call from this clerk telling me that management was well aware of these fees and that I would have to pay them no matter what; there was no prorating due to only taking 20 minutes to find the leak. I explained that the technician did not check in the other parts of my system only one part. The clerk told me that they had found the leak and therefore I had no standing. The clerk said that if I wanted to pay another hundred dollar fee they would come out and complete the test as agreed upon.
In addition, I found that the technician had misrepresented the services to be performed under the service agreement that I had purchased.
The technician involved seemed to know his business as far as the repair of the system however I felt that his ethical behavior as far as selling the warrantee and his billing was misleading bordering on unethical. Their billing practices although accurate in the end, were very confusing. One of the charges that I had to pay was for $1800 more than I thought was actually due. The technician told me not to worry about it that they would credit me once the invoices and the credit card fees got checked at the main office. Much to my surprise this actually happened.
I would sincerely caution everyone to think twice about calling Frank Gay Services for just about anything. If I hadn't been caught on the Saturday night and Sunday no air conditioning problem I would have given the issue more thought and checked Yelp before calling. I have looked at some of the other reviews; they seem to mirror my experience. I cannot remember the last time I took the trouble to leave a negative review but this company gives me a special feeling of negativity. Please pay special attention to the negative reviews.

I cannot explain the relief I feel right now. I had an emergency plumbing issue that came to a head today. Granted, this issue has been ongoing for a while and I already paid a lot to resolve the issue, only for it to return. When I realized that I had to pay more than I had budgeted I nearly cried knowing that I did not have any working toilets in my house and I did not have any additional money to pay. LET ME TELL YOU!!!! Steven Santiago and Jeff came to my house and Steven (OMG... ) he bent backwards to talk to my landlord and provide a fair quote so that I can have working toilets. My landlord agreed to pay for the services after speaking with Steven and I nearly dropped because my landlord is not that easy to come around when it comes to paying for quality house maintenance. There is no words in the English language that can explain my full gratitude for both Steven and Jeff, but mostly Steven Santiago (manager). I'm so grateful, and blessed! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!! I send eternal positive vibes to you!
