Pro-Tech Air Conditioning & Plumbing Service

We have an annual service plan for AC maintenance with Protech that also includes extra calls if drain line clogs at no extra cost (a regular problem with Condos like ours in Florida).  Nick is our regular technician, and is excellent.  Professional, thorough and efficient.  Out AC unit has out lasted most of our neighbor's units which is due to Protech maintenance.

Nicholas was AWESOME! I have children and work from home. So mornings are extremely crazy. He was on time and explained everything. He wore a mask and kept his feet covered while in the house. I unfortunately had to be on a business call when he was done and he patiently waited until I could get off the phone. I am so appreciative of his politeness and great attitude. Definitely recommend and hope all employees are as great as Nicholas.

I am always happy with nick's service.  He is professional and polite, traits that are hard to come by in these times.  He is always on time and takes care of everything quickly and with care.  He knows his job and I can always depend on him.  He has been the person who has serviced my AC and my daughter's AC for many, many years and I hope he will remain at the pro - tech company for many more years.  I look forward to his service because I know it will be complete.  Thank you for having such a great employee.

We are new to the area and just purchased a home. As luck would have it, we had a toilet that overflowed upstairs and ended up having water come downstairs as well. It was a mess! I researched plumbing companies and went with Pro Tech based on the reviews I read. Christopher Ashcraft arrived to our house exactly when we expected and found the problem right away. He was professional and thorough and we won't hesitate to call again when we have other plumbing issues arise.

Always courteous and provide great service.  We have been very happy customers for over a decade!  They continue to earn a five star rating with us.

They charged me $299 to send out a second plumber to hold a piece of pipe not to fix it but to just hold it in place while another plumber tighten down a pipe I would not recommend them. It is an unjustifiable amount of money and their excuse was he's a certified professional what kind of a certification do you need to hold a pipe for someone to tighten it and we are talking a shower pipe not an industrial or commercial pipe. Any person off the street could've held it and other plumbers tell me there was no need for a second person. Avoid calling them unless You are willing to get ripped off

We needed assistance installing a new faucet, sink and hooking up a disposal. Our guy was early and did a great job hooking everything up. We use Pro-Tech for AC and will start calling them for plumbing.

Chris was early for our appointment which was great for us. He found the leak and replaced our garbage disposal in just minutes... so efficient and friendly! Thanks for the quick service!

Waiting on service is a torture! .... I just want to cry. We bought their new unit less than 3 years ago.... We managed monthly clean up by ourselves... until May 2023 when AC broke down. I called and 5 days later they said it was the thermostat... cost me $600 to replace it. The following month... in the middle of June 2023 AC broke down...again. We pay the $300 comfort plan and the visit of $150. But again this month (Friday, July 21, 2023) at 98F insiste my home AC is out.... AGAIN. I called and guess what? No one can come until Wednesday the 26th in the middle of this scrutinizing relentless hot summer and to make this worse, my elderly mom who lives with me can't even breathe... I cannot afford a hotel stay and I cannot leave my mom alone in a hotel.... Already bought fans for us, but it's just blowing hot air. I just have to wait in this hot summer days to go by, holding to their Confort Plan to really work. I just hope they do come clean and don't play with people life. (Fingers crossed)

I've been a loyal customer of Pro-Tech for many years.  They are always responsive and reliable.  Being a member of the Comfort Club keeps my unit in top shape.  It is now time to replace my old unit and I just ordered the new unit from Pro-Tech.

This company is going to be my go-to for HVAC issues.  I called after-hours, they answered, and since it would be a few days before a tech could come to our house (very busy season) Diane walked me through flushing the condensate tube and everything is working fine.  I have tremendous respect for a company that will help you out and provide a simple fix even if it means they don't get to charge you for services.  And Diane definitely knew what she was talking about and was delightful.

Great service on AC!  Was able to schedule within days and appreciate the flexibility of available time slots.  Nicholas was courteous, friendly, and fast!  He also identified an issue with my garage freezer I was unaware of.   Highly recommend Pro-Tech!

We had a whole house re-pipe done today and the team did a fantastic job, all installed, tested and ready for inspection. Chris and team were friendly, helpful and did a very professional job. In one day!

I called Pro-Tech yesterday to get a toilet flush repair done, and they accommodated me by sending someone out the next day on my day off. The office didn't call in advance, but two plumbers came and were early in the window of time they gave me, so that worked well for me. They repaired the toilet and also replaced the flapper in another one that was aging. I signed up for their annual inspection plan, and they said I could end it at any time. That saved me money today, and I think will be good for maintenance in the long run. Nice guys too! Thank you, Pro-Tech.

I use Protec for everything these days. I started using them when my water heater needed a repair, and then for my air conditioner checkups and repairs and now for my plumbing issues.
I am part of Protec's comfort club, which gives me ten percent off of their other services when I need something done. This has been beneficial. I joined the comfort club when I started using them for my air conditioner check ups. They have been very helpful and in fact, through them, I had a new air conditioner installed. My two units are still working and the new unit has an exceptional warranty.
Protec is good about making their appointments on time. They give you a three hour window and typically a heads up when they're on their way. They work late too, which is nice cuz things like broken water heaters and non functioning AC units are kind of an emergency. I do recommend them. All the technicians have been wonderful. The AC guys got a dead squirrel out of my attic. The plumbers came for a second visit when they found out my issue was not 100% solved and they did not charge an assessment fee for the second visit. I only had one guy track some mud into my house while he was working on things.
Aside from that, their office is very helpful and gets back to you almost immediately. I had one issue over Memorial Day when they didn't call me back. Apparently they were on the phone for two days straight with other customers calling in and did not have a chance to check their voice mail. So if you don't hear back within two hours, call again. I've had a lot more luck with their online contact system via email.
They are very good about emailing, calling and texting. I have electronic copies of all my bills. They also keep records at the office.
I found Protec in a file folder from the prior owner of this home- he bought the water heater from them. And they have regarded me as the initial owner despite the handoff. I had no issues with them servicing their product even though I'm the second owner. What a great company.
