This the second time I hire the services of this company one my kitchen sink and the second time for water heater replacement. In both time they performed in cue. Their service men are professional very meticulous and adhere to safety by wearing masks and using social distancing. They provide good value foe the amount of work the put out. If yu hire yu will not regret yu are in good hands with them.

We had a second-floor toilet leaking through to the first floor. I called Drain Genie on a Sunday evening and they offered to send someone out right away. I had turned off the water so I did not need immediate service, but I was glad they had that option available. A father and son team showed up the next afternoon. They were slightly late, but they called to let me know so it was not a problem. They were very friendly and professional, fixed the problem quickly, and were happy to answer all of my questions. I've used Drain Genie a couple of times now and both times they were fantastic. The first visit was to fix a leak I had coming from a shower on the second floor and leaking down into my master bathroom downstairs. They made very quick work of the leak and even helped me with a couple of other things I had questions about. The second visit was for a new water heater install. They were also very quick with this one and did a great job. I've communicated with the owner John via text and phone call. John is a great guy and doesn't mind explaining things to you. I even had a pricing question and he ended up calling his supplier to double check and to provide me with his best possible price. This company is the real deal and I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs you may have.

I noticed when my water bill came out It was about 100x more than usual. (It went from normally $30 to more than $300!!!) The City of Longwood came out to read the meter & it was spinning at 4-5 gallons a minute. Well.  We had Drain Genie come out to our house prior for an overflow in our bathroom & they did an amazing job, so we called them again. Since we were not able to figure out where the leak was coming from they recommended we go to Leak Doctor first, then they (Drain Genie) would come out to fix where the leak was.

Well first, let me just say Leak Doctor was awesome. David was the guy that came over & he was quick, efficient & their troubleshooting was great. He was enthusiastic & very friendly. I'm completely happy with their service & it shows a lot with their service to know that Drain Genie works with them.  They pinpointed exactly where the leak was & turned off the main valve to stop the leak immediately & then called Drain Genie to come out & resolve the rest.

Drain Genie sent out Eric & Adrien within a few hours on the same day! I remember Eric from the last time we had them over, so it was good to know that they don't contract out their workers - I appreciate that! Eric & Adrien gave outstanding service. They removed the corroded copper piping (It had a 5mm hole - so that's where the 4-5 gallons a min were coming from - lol) & replaced It with PVC piping.  They were kind, professional, & extremely efficient. This whole escapade was fixed in less than 24 hours total & I am super appreciative of how quickly they resolved it.

I mean seriously who does that anymore & if they do something that quickly & swiftly - usually its missing great customer service. Drain Genie had great customer service & a swift turn around!  I'm happy that these guys are around. Eric even helped me check my water meter to ensure It was running efficiently. He also let me know that they could do a quote to replace the copper piping from the main line to PVC & thought outside the box for an efficient way to redo the main line. Totally appreciate that!

Drain Genie was prompt in replying to my request and scheduling my service request however they charged me $250 in parts and labor to replace a broken drain. I needed it done so I agreed but it took the technician about a half hour to replace, and I found the part they used online for around $20. If you choose to go with them, make sure you do your research to make sure they're giving you a reasonable quote

Our toilet detached from the floor, I thought the screws had rusted out but upon examination the flange was completely rusted out as well.  Fixing that is above my pay grade. I sent a request for service on a Sunday mid-morning received an immediate response and upon sharing information and a picture, had a quote with a good case and a worst case scenario.  The service was scheduled for Monday, and the technician was delayed a little beyond the time window advised but the company called my wife to let her know.  The technician and I believe a trainee arrived, fixed the problem under the good scenario which was for a competitive, fair price.  The technicians were courteous, showed and sent pictures of what the work they performed.  Everything was neat and clean. This is the kind of people and company I want to do business with, fast response, quick service, fair, and honest communication.

We had a clog in our main line and Drain Genie was the most responsive in getting out to us and getting the job done. They had to get up on our roof to run a snake through the line and they did it all in an about an hour and gave us piece of mind. I needed a lower heating element installed and one company quoted me $475.00 after I told them I had the element from Rheem. They did respond so I got in touch with Drain Genie Plumbing and they said they could have someone here today! Kevin arrived early and took great care of replacing the element and costs a lot less than the other folks because I already had the element. My father in law clogged one of my toilets while he was visiting. After failed attempts with a plunger, a trip to the hardware store and a plumbers snake, professional help was required.

I went on Yelp to find a reputable and fast plumber, and upon searching in my area, Drain Genie Plumbing Services came up, with a notice that said they typically respond within ten minutes of messaging. Within minutes after messaging them for a quote, I was contacted and we set up a service over the phone. I was quoted between $250-$385 for best/worst case scenario. We were prepared for the worst !

The plumber arrived within the hour as promised to me over the phone, and was able to fix the clogged toilet downstairs within an hour. After a minor overflow and downstairs mini flood (we were able to clean up with a few beach towels and avoided any damage), the toilet was fixed, and I was only charged $150 for the service. It was recommended that we also replace the flusher handle, however it was still working as it was, and this is a minor fix my husband can do himself. The plumber was fast, friendly, and professional. The ease of booking through the Yelp App would entice me to use this method to book future services as needed.

Called about a clogged kitchen sink and they were at my house just a few hours later. The fellow who showed up was friendly, forward and took great care in explaining everything. After taking care of the clog, I added a quick job on another problem and he quickly handled the issue. Would certainly call them again and recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

I had an issue with the hot water pressure valve in my condo and hadn't had hot water in 3 days (after my condo semi flooded). I messaged a few plumbers and everyone was so busy and prices were outrageous. I spoke with John from Drain Genie and he was very very kind and patient. He had me send him a few pics of the valve, the hot water tank and the pipes to his phone. Then he asked how handy I was.. and **FOR FREE** walked me through fixing the problem with the valve. Yes, he helped me over the phone for free. Who does that these days? Only someone who cares deeply about their customers.

My second floor toilet was having clogging issues. I messaged Drain Genie Plumbing Services late at night and received an almost-immediate response. The owner told me that someone could be out the next morning between 8 and 9 AM. At 8:10, I received a call from Kevin that he was 40 minutes away. He arrived promptly at the approximate time he previously told me. I walked him through what we were experiencing and he spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting as to not have invasive measures taken to solve the problem. After about 45 minutes, everything seemingly worked well. Kevin took time to make sure I understood do's and don'ts moving forward. Excellent response time and overall experience!

John was great to deal with over the phone and was honest about what the charges would be for a small plumbing job.  He sent out one of his guys Carlos I think and he did great work in an efficient amount of time.

One phone call and a few text messages was all it took to conjure up the drain genie who appeared in my driveway right on time. After a brief consultation the genie Carlos sprung into action and was finished in less than an hour.  He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and drone a nice new truck full of tools. Next thing I knew my drain was working and he had disappeared.
My only complaint was ... I didn't get to rub the lamp ... he just appeared!

They seem nice, but Pricing seems very high... Thought it was because today might be considered a holiday, but they said it was normal pricing. Snaking: $285.00 from clean out, $385.00 from Roof Stack, and they are not far from us.

I cannot say enough good things about the service with this company. They are honest, reliable, polite, and great at communicating with their customers. We have been having plumbing problems for two years in our master bathroom. I had a good feeling with this company immediately because when I called to make the appointment, the technician took the time to hear me out about the issues and gave me some suggestions/things to keep in mind. When he came out, he gave us our options/pricing and managed to do the job for the most reasonable price possible. Someone FINALLY told us what the problem is and fixed it. We finally have our shower back after nearly two months! I would have hugged the technician if it didn't freak him out! :) I would not hesitate to have them out here again and to recommend them to anyone.

Can't say enough good things about Drain Genie. We found out late on a cold and snowy Sunday that our main sewer line was clogged up. Called DG as they were recommended by our regular plumber but they were booked two days out so I called a few other places hoping to get someone sooner. Roto Rooter showed up and refused to work in our crawl space (4.5' tall and 3 thick insulation with a huge opening to access) citing OSHA rules and regulations. DG showed up the next day, took one look and got to work. Pete, the tech, was awesome, very careful with his machine on our brand new hard wood floors, and laughed when he heard the other guy wouldn't work down there. He took about 10 minutes to scrape our main line, found the issue and got it resolved for us. Super simple, and great company to work with. Highly recommend.

I had my entire house replumbed a few weeks ago. The first highlight was that John was able to work with other customers and get us moved up in the schedule since it was an issue that displaced us until it could be fixed. The workers showed up, we're very courteous, and got the job done quickly with minimal damage. Our water had to be completely re-routed due to the age of our home, and they were able to complete the job in one day as promised. After the work was complete, they subcontract out the drywall and within a few hours the walls looked almost brand new. We had a few small issues with our shower after the replumb but they sent out two guys to take a look and they were able to fix it. Not only did they fix the shower issue, but they answered my questions about water treatment for my home. We ended up getting that installed this week. The turn around time for that was fantastic and it looks great. Going from having a huge busted pipe to brand new plumbing with water treatment in three weeks speaks volumes to this company. Could you find a cheaper plumber? Maybe. But if you do, I guarantee you'll be giving up quality and reliably. I would recommend Drain Genie if you have any plumbing needs.

I had a clogged drain and a problem with my garbage disposal they fix both of them. Not only that but the specialist showed me how to avoid a problem in the future.

Knee Replacement 6 days ago.  Not ready to deal with clogged toilet.  They came quickly and were done shortly.  Prices reasonable.

We just moved into our house 3 weeks ago from PA.  The previous homeowner had provided us with a home warranty which we mistakenly believed would cover us if anything unforeseen happened.  Last Sat, we found a small leak in our plumbing.  Their tech came out on Mon, diagnosed a leak in the slab and quoted $1500 to repair (not including the drywall, baseboard and tile repair needed afterward as he had to jack hammer our floor) of which the warranty company would pay $1000 total. He returned on Fri and announced after 3 hours that he wouldn't proceed because he kept creating more leaks, he was keeping the $1000 (we could decide whether to pay the other $500), he couldn't give us an exact quote but it would be under $6000 to re-plumb, and he couldn't tell us when he'd be back because he didn't have the manpower.  After arguing with his company and AHS until late yesterday afternoon, it was clear we were out $1000 and on our own 1000 miles from home.  When we turned the water on, it was now filling the pit he created in 5 seconds so we couldn't even turn the water on for showers, etc. We started calling plumbers and from what it sounded like, we were going to need a hotel because we would be out of water for about another week.  Our son would be starting at his new school from a hotel on Mon. That's when we found the excellent reviews for Drain Genie. Within 20 minutes, we were on the phone with the owner John. He asked my husband specific questions about the plumbing in our home and gave us a quote on the spot. He was able to get his crew out first thing this morning.  John and Aaron came out to check the job and adjusted the quote up a little, but it was completely understandable as we didn't realize the shower and faucet in our bathtub were separate lines so our mistake.  As the final quote was only slightly more than half the warranty company's tech's quote and still less than a quick guess another plumber had given us on the phone, we were thrilled.  His crew was outstanding, and they did an excellent job.  They even cleaned up everything, and John and Aaron came by after they left to make sure we were happy with their job.  John and his crew turned an absolute nightmare into a positive experience which we would have said was impossible late yesterday afternoon.  We can't say enough good things about this company, and we will definitely use them again in the future!

We found out that our toilet flange was broken and we couldn't repair it ourselves - Carlos from Drain Genie came by 4 h later, fixed it and also gave us tips for our own install projects. We will definitely use them again !

Updated review 04/24/22: John reached out and was apologetic and sent me a refund. I appreciate that he wanted to make it right. I wish they were this responsive the first time around, but I appreciate that he is trying to remedy the situation.

My husband took the day off after confirming an appointment. The plumber was supposed to come at 2:30. Around that time we received an automated message saying he was going to be late and would arrive at 4:30. We never heard from them again. It is very disappointing that my husband had to take a vacation day to be stood up by a plumber.

I'm shocked that there are so many 5 star reviews. Not even the best restaurants have that many 5 star reviews. I'm certain those are fake reviews.

Our garbage disposal started leaking pretty heavy. Called the office line at 2 and someone was out by 7 same day. The gentlemen were very polite and cleaned up when they were done. We will be using them again in the future.

A week or so again, late at night or early the next morning (over the weekend), we noticed water leaking in the kitchen. After contacting our Home Warranty Company who did nothing to help us (an epic fail), my son went online to find us a Plumber. Based on a prayer for guidance and customer reviews, we settled on Drain Genie Plumbing Services and I am so glad we did! On a Sunday afternoon, we reached out to them and John called us back right away. The next day (we were able to turn the water on and off as needed), John had an employee come out to find the source of the leak. This was the beginning of a wonderful experience with a group of the most hardworking, courteous, professional, and honest people we have ever encountered in business. Although it ended up being easier to replumb the house than to fix the leak, the cost was so very fair. When we had a previous leak, another company quoted double what we paid to get the work done. These gentlemen, starting with John were superb - positively superb. They came in and did an awesome job in 5 hours. Outstanding! My son, who followed them around to see what they were doing and to move stuff out of the way when needed, was told, and showed everything they were doing. They answered any questions he had without hesitation or attitude. The next morning, the drywall team came in to do patch work. The drywall team was also outstanding. They were in and out in less than 3 hours after arrival. A day later, we had a few issues after everything was done and I called John. Within an hour, Aaron and his son were at the house and they took care of the problem right away. After they left, John called back to follow-up and explain to me again what happened. This is an outstanding company with great employees. Believe me when I say that I am not talking them up and I am afraid these comments do not adequately do them justice. We prayed for guidance and that we would engage with the right people. Plumbing is expensive and as a recent retiree, I do not have money to burn. Our prayers were answered when we entered a business agreement/relationship with Drain Genie Plumbing Services. They will be our plumbers forever! Thank you so much for doing a great job and for the pleasure of working with John and his staff.

Very pleased with Drain Genie. I had an issue with my garbage disposal. Alva was able to come out within a couple of hours. He called on his way and was accurate with his timing. He knew immediately how to fix the issue and helped with a drainage question I had, too. Thank you!

I contacted Drain Genie late at night and received a response immediately when they opened. They were able to accomadate a fair price and time, which resulted in a wait time of maybe 1.5 hr.  The technician Paul was amazing to work with. He is punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all served our country in the US Navy. He took his time to stop and explain all details pertaining to the repair, helping to place any/all worries at ease. I am super thankful. Also, knowing that Drain Genie has employed a person of Paul's stature, warrants a recommendation to anyone I know who is seeking a reliable plumber.

I would highly recommend this company.  I need a hose bib replaced due to leaking and they responded and completed the repair within a few hours of my contacting them.  The two service techs were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.  They did an excellent job with my repairs.

When a water emergency struck, Drain Genie was one of the first to respond and send someone out right away. Carlos was thorough on the outdoor area and Aaron and his son were awesome working on issues inside - they were even able to fix an issue we'd had since moving in. I highly recommend!

Quality of work was excellent. Problem I had with this company was their exorbitant installation prices. I wanted 2 small vanity sinks installed which I had already purchased and they wanted $900 to basically tack those two 24 inch boxes onto my bathroom wall. The smoke screen companies R using to get away with this is task code. I was told that they punched in my work request/their system spit out a $900 installation task code. This means a company can charge a customer whatever they want. I'll never use this company again. I suspect this task code scam is industry wide so I guess I will look for a handyman to do the work so I can pay a fair price equal to the job. In this case the job is very small but the price is ridiculous.

Nothing but positives to say here. Competent, realistic, professional, self-deprecating, and FAIR when it came to pricing. Up-front communication and price expectations were laid out, including possible additional costs (some of which did happen), but I knew I was dealing with professionals and adults here based on the communication and me watching things unfold. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. Even the same-day weekend pricing wasn't crazy priced. We did have a longer than expected wait for them to arrive, but it was a) same day and b) end of the day, so this is just what happens when you call them last minute.

It was Mother's Day weekend, my mother-in-law was visiting from out of town, and the all the boys had a date to watch Dr. Strange. At the worst time, the toilet began to leak from beneath the floor and water had flooded half the house. It was chaos!! We had a toilet clog over the weekend and after reading all the positive reviews I sent them a message from their website on a Sunday night around 930pm and was pleasantly surprised to get a text message about 15 minutes later. I bought a new toilet. Immediately I called them before leaving the store and they were able to get me in that day. Adrian was the plumber and he was superb! He was polite, efficient, and professional. I will always call Genie and ask for Adrian.

John, the owner, responded to my message quickly with a phone call to go over the issues I was experiencing with my plumbing. After asking several questions he was able to determine some likely causes. We decided that since the issues had resolved themselves there was no need for a service call at that time but he still spent several minutes on the phone with me to help me understand what to look for in the future. They followed many safety protocols and we were happy for that.  This show a real respect for their customers and a high dedication to the safety and well-being of their employees (as much as it is a hassle to the employees) and community.  
It was a tough job as it ended up being an intermittent clogged toilet which was caused by roots in the drain pipe connection to county sewage - something that the camera did not show.  Also the drain pipe from the shower was initially installed improperly and I decided to have them replace as we'll.  They worked until 1:00 in the morning and got it all straightened out.  
We had to work through some communication and expectation issues - like give me the bottom line - replace or not replace the shower drain and did you just now tell me that the cement to replace the slab you punched a hole in may take 4-5 days to cure or that the toilet wouldn't be available until the floor cures....Clearly I expected to be made aware of the slab curing time line ahead of time, but we found a quick drying hydraulic concrete to repair the floor to mitigate that issue.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the communication, problem resolution, and over all price which came in on the lower side of their estimate.  Their team's dedication to my issue, desire to help a diabetic customer who depended upon a working toilet with a very complicated set of plumbing issues and ability to keep me informed of the progress was key to my 5-star rating.

For more help. I had Carlos at first, then on other trips Sean and his helper Aaron for issues over a week and a half time. Every time the technician was extremely informative of what's going on, and efficient. Very clean left no mess and we're truly pleasant to work with. I appreciated that they explained the situation every step of the way so there were no surprises. Even before they came out, I was given a really good ballpark of what the expenses could be. And fortunately every time it was at the lower end of the ballpark. Extremely happy with this company. I will need plumbing help in the future and I will call them.

Charlie and Charlie came out to help with a clogged drain. They are a father and son team. They did a great job, we're personable and made sure everything was flowing again before heading out. I had just moved into my new home. My kitchen sink was clogged, the water was just sitting there and would not go down. These guys were superb. Service was prompt and courteous. Within just a few minutes my sink was good to go and the price was reasonable too. Highly recommended.

Unorganized and lacking man power. I scheduled an appointment with them 3 days in advance for a rather urgent issue. They guaranteed me service on the day of my appointment. I rearranged my day for the tech to come and then they called last minute and cancelled because they were too busy and did not have another available appointment for me. They are responsive to calls and messages but will not show up for the job.

Don't bother making an appointment with them. Bad business.

Called Drain Genie for a price quote on repairing or replacing a garbage disposal. they wouldn't give us a range of pricing until they came out to check the GP.
They arrived on schedule (it's the only reason they get a 1 star). Took one brief look (no more than 10 seconds) at the GP and then blew us away with a replacement cost well over all the estimates we've seen. The rep could not give us a break down of why the cost would be so high but immediately tried to sell us a membership of $20 a month ($240 a year) for a 20% discount and a unnecessary warrantee that still put the replacement much higher than other prices we had seen and would still end up paying well over $700 dollars for this replacement. I had used them in the past but it had been a few years since then, and we have a couple of other small plumbing jobs I would have used them for. Their inability to have transparency for their pricing, the immediate pivot to fleece me with some membership to achieve their better pricing is a huge red flag for me. The reps protestations that we have the best reviews and everyone else is getting expensive came off as some low level gaslighting by someone that's not a good or experienced salesperson and didn't truly wasnt a satisfactory defense of their policies and pricing.
I can not recommend Drain Genie and strongly suggest you save yourself the $50 fee to have them come out and find another plumber/plumbing service Instead.

They were very responsive. Good communication and came out right away. The service tech was very polite and seemed very knowledgeable. The cost like everything else right now I thought was a bit high. $305 for parts and labor for about a 45 min job. I'm not sure if the price was too high but given that we had a couple of stressful days without working water as my husband tinkered in unknown territory I'm grateful! I would use them again.

I called late at night for a plumbing emergency and they replied quickly and got the problem fixed quickly. Price was reasonable! Highly recommend!

So glad we went with this company.  Price was in line with other bids we had gotten.  They were in and out in one day for a whole house re-pipe.  They did the job with as little cutting into the drywall as possible and left the pieces next to the hole. They scheduled the drywall people and they were on time, took only 1/3 of a day and the repairs look great.

The people at Drain Genie are great. My boyfriend's parents had the pipe behind the fridge burst and flood the kitchen. They placed a call to the company for a repair. The fee for an after hours repair includes an additional $100. Since they had the water turned off the company offered to put them in first thing in the morning to save them the extra money. They even allowed his father to go and get the part so they weren't charged for anything but the fix and install.  And when they did come out for the repair they set up the new pipes to allow for a quick install of the new fridge. This company is great and one I would recommend to anyone needing a plumber. They are timely and honest about their work.
