We were doing a kitchen remodel and replacing all of our lights and moving outlets. now the kitchen is so up to date and wafer lights that have the night light feature are awesome. A/E worked well with the ever changing schedule of the other contractors. Everything came together like a well oiled wheel.

After the positive reviews, I contacted them for some simple projects - hanging ceiling fans, exterior lights pre-wired.  They turned out to be expensive, and when I turned one of the ceiling fans on a blade flew off.  They charged to fix their mistake.  The exterior lights have never worked correctly.  I also had them run a cable outlet, and they installed a jack without any wire running to it.  They charged for the completed project.  Of course in the attic they drilled multiple holes in the ceiling, never finding the correct location and never connecting the cable line.  It would be like charging to add an electrical outlet without attaching the electricity.  Overall dishonest, overpriced and no integrity standing by their work.

Extremely disappointed, scheduled an appointment for an electrician to come out today and give me a quote, the company called TWICE to confirm our appointment and NO ONE showed up. Waited two hours! Extremely unprofessional, if you can't show up to an appointment how can I trust your work?! Anyone that's asks me about electricians I will be sure to tell them not use this company. Tons of other businesses eager to take my money.

An elderly friend needed some extensive electrical repair & fixture replacement. They were promptly there when they said they would be & were even better when they returned to do the work & found out there were more fixtures purchased for install than we originally told them. Although they had to split the install into two visits, it was still a most pleasant experience. They are the most courteous, kind, patient people I have had to deal with in customer service in a very long time. If you want high quality work and a level of customer service hard to find in today's environment, call them, you won't regret it!!

I typically dread having contractors come to the house, if they were all like Brett and John @ Empire Electric I would welcome it frequently.  Brett was on-time, used drop cloths to manage the mess cutting new holes for my recessed lights, and the quality of their work was phenomenal. Good electricians are notoriously hard to find, if you have a need look no further than Empire...

If you need a pool electrician this is the guy to call. Reliable, expert and lifelong member of the community. Very trustworthy.

When I discovered my boat lift wouldn't work this morning and with a hurricane approaching, I started calling electricians.  Only Lighthouse tried to help by squeezing me in between their schedule calls.  They were there in 20 minutes.  They couldn't fix all that was wrong, but they hung in there and figured a way to get power down to the river and to the lift, and got my boat as high out of the water as possible within 2 hours.  No idea how we'll fair in the hurricane, but Lighthouse gave us a much better chance.  When you consider the nightmare of a boat loose in the hurricane or tearing the lift and boathouse to pieces in the storm surge, you can imagine my relief that Lighthouse responded and figured out a way to help.  I called 11 electricians this morning and was fortunate when Lighthouse came to the rescue.  They'll be the only ones I call in the future.

Straightforward business

We own several properties, and Larry has done work in all of them. He is fast, meticulous and definitely knows what he is doing. He's a down-to-earth guy, and always in a good mood. He is very fair with his pricing and always bills us directly, even when we have had work done through a contractor.

Out of all the professionals we've had to deal with during the past 3 remodels that we've done, he has by far been the easiest and best to deal with.

The communication was excellent from the first phone call.  I explained that my father was on a new oxygen machine and it blew a circuit so I needed to have that checked as well as the breaker.   I was able to get an early appointment the next day which I was happy with.   Later that afternoon she called to say they had availability that day.   Matthew called me to tell me he was on his way and was so kind.   My father wasn't thrilled because this was something he used to be able to do.   But was very complimentary about the fellas and their work when it was completed.   I will defiantly be calling them in the future.  Thank you so much!

Peacock electric was very professional in every aspect. From returning phone calls to the techs that came to my house. The tech I dealt with was Mike, he kept me informed the whole time. He even came back on his own time to double check the pressures and to double check all of his welds.

I would recommend them to anyone, their price was more than fair.

I originally contacted Richard to paint a room and add 3D art to an accent wall. He was quick to respond, showed up on time, and provided a thorough, professional estimate. Far more professional than other companies I contacted for the same project. We ended up being indecisive on that project and haven't done anything with the room to date. But, since Richard left a good impression, I contacted him to install some outdoor light fixtures, a couple Wi-Fi smart thermostats, and epoxy our garage floor. Even though we didn't hire him for the first job, he was still just as responsive and professional. He did excellent work on all we asked. His price was fair and he worked the entire time he was here. Which is not always the case I've found. Richard is a great find for any handyman work and we'll definitely use him for future projects.

They don't have anyone answering the phone, only an answering machine.  I called twice, left messages and never received a callback.

Simple electrical fix to check out a circuit and replace GFCI outlet.  Did complete job and corrected mislabeling on breaker box.  Good notifications, early arrival and went right to work.  Maybe a bit pricey, but so professional will use again.  Highly recommend them for your household electrical projects.

I had a service window of 9-12 this morning.  It is now after 2 and no one has arrived or called.  I called at 12 and was told someone would be here by 1:30.  I just called again and was told that someone should be here by 2:45.  I had things to do today so I really don't appreciate the delay and lack of communication.

Highly disappointed, we went through our home warranty company that called this provider. He came and took the fan down and then left it in the middle of my daughters room and then gave me the run around for a week. He then marked the claim complete and finally I heard that he cannot fix the problem and that it isn't covered and that he isn't comfortable doing it and to find another electrician. A complete waste of time!
