I had two leaky faucets and a toilet that needed a new flapper, so called Dragon Plumbing. Upon completion, the plumbers presented me with an unitemized bill for $475.
The following day, the two faucets began leaking again. I went to check on the new flapper and realized that the plumbers had replaced the entire flush kit. They also replaced the flush handle on the outside of the toilet tank. Whereas my original flush handle was beige to match the toilet, the new flush handle was twice as large and a shiny chrome color. I sent The Dragon Plumbing numerous emails describing my dissatisfaction with their work. The plumbers came back, and used a wrench to turn one faucet handle a few degrees so that it would properly align with the handle on the other side of the spout. When I asked about the toilet handle, I was told that a new handle was required because the flush kit they used did not fit my beige handle. My handle was not a brand that they carry. The next day, the faucets were dripping once again. Dragon Plumbing offered to come back and repair the faucets with the parts Delta Customer Service had provided to me at no cost, for a fee of $125. As a last resort, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Dragon Plumbing did not reply to the BBB.
- [ ] Dragon Plumbing replaced the faucet cartridges. Customer service at Delta Faucets said that a dripping faucet is repaired with seats and springs, not new cartridges. Delta shipped me new seats and springs as well as two cartridges at no cost.
- [ ] The plumbers took nearly four hours to do the job which should have been completed in less than two
- [ ] The plumbers went in and out of the front door (to the truck) a total of 13 times. (Ring doorbell verified)
- [ ] The plumbers walked through the house without a mask or shoe coverings.
- [ ] The plumbers did not show me the parts that had been replaced.
- [ ] The plumbers did not clean up after themselves. The water closet was dirty
- [ ] The plumbers did not notice that the newly repaired faucet handles were not properly aligned.
- [ ] The company failed to honor its 30 day guarantee which is printed right on the invoice.
- [ ] The bill was not itemized.
- [ ] The owner of Dragon Plumbing told me that my faucet was old and could not be repaired. (The house was built in 2008)
- [ ] The owner of Dragon Plumbing said that the drip I was still experiencing was not that bad. I should learn to live with it.
