Rooter Town is a total scam company. Here's how they operate based on numerous reports and my experience (Luckily I did not have to get an immediate fix and I had time to talk with several neighbors and friends)
1) They scope your main line for roots
2) They report there is a blockage/pipe issue at a certain number of feet
3) They say they can't get passed this first issue to see if there is more damage further in the pipe. So you need to excavate and fix the damaged pipe without knowing if there is more damage further down
4) They come with an estimate of $5800 for a 10 foot pipe repair with 8' excavation and then you will know if you need further repair once they can get their scope further
5) When you say you need to get another opinion and research, they come back and say if you do it today, we can lower the price to $4800
6) When you say you need time to think, they sit in their van in front of your house and come back at least 3 times with more information or a slightly lower price. Tons of pressure to do it today
SHOP AROUND---I got my repair for $2500 less, with a professional pipe company who let me see the entire camera line to the street (yeah--this company could get their camera all the way down while Rooter Town couldn't). They were transparent and showed me all areas of the pipe and provided me with information to make an informed decision.
ROOTER TOWN IS HORRIBLE
THEY DO THIS TO EVERYONE--two friends used Rooter Town and ended up having their $5800 project turn into $10K and $14K disaster.
Call around even if you need to stay in a motel for a couple of days. Don't cave into their pressure tactics. Use a local contractor like my neighbors who didn't get taken for a ride---..Aqualine, Elite Pipe, Eclipse Sewer

I had a washer drain that was randomly backing up, and another project that needed some insight. Richard Bergman came out and not only got my washer drain completely sorted out, but while we were running a cycle on the machine to make sure everything was sorted, he expertly answered questions I had regarding some other odds and ends I had found in our new home, as well as giving me very valuable insight into other projects that were on the horizon. Oh, and he also opened up the floor drain while we were waiting and made sure there weren't any hidden issues there, either. Fantastic service! I will definitely be using these guys again!!

Sorry to do this because he gets such great reviews here and on NextDoor but - Mike totally blew me off and left me hanging. I emailed, voicemailed and texted at his request my need for some home plumbing, two 'small' projects, and he initially voicemailed me back that he was ordering a needed part. Then he ( a day later or so) contacted me saying, I should order the part myself as it would be under the mfr lifetime warranty.
Short version, he just disappeared and after a few days of being patient and no response I just fixed it all myself. So, that was the upside. Next time you need a plumber, call me (no, no don't do that!!). But I did learn how to replace a shower control cartridge, very easy to do, you don't need a plumber at all.
I would have been totally fine with him saying I don't have time/your project is too small/whatever and I'd have moved on happily. But he just left me hanging and thus 1 star, it'd be 0 stars if possible.
Sorry.

Doug has been super helpful with a variety of issues we had in a newly purchased home. He is hard working & a great communicator. Also he's very timely.

Professional, friendly, thorough, helpful.
We had a Friday evening emergency, they were quick to respond, and Wes quickly arrived. He got right to work, went above and beyond, gave expert advice on our problem, took care to fix the issues, and cleaned up after himself.
Thanks to Wes!

I would highly recommend using Alliance Air Solutions!! They do great work at a very competitive price. They installed a Mitsubishi mini split in my condo downtown and not only has it added value to our investment, it works great with our 16ft ceilings!! Working with the owner Zach was a pleasant experience and we will continue to use him for our future HVAC needs.

They took the time to listen to the problem I was having with my boiler/radiant heat, nobody was able to fix it. Clayton came the next morning and came up with a solution. Warm tile floors are awesome. Thank you for the great service and treating us well.

We recently bought a home that the previous owners had installed a new furnace in, and we were having something weird go on so we called Galbraith, and he said it sounded like the A/C Coil. Regardless, they came all the way down to Lakewood to find out our furnace was fine and show us what was going on, when they didn't have to at all. They didn't charge us and drove all the way there early in the morning for something that ended up not being the furnace. Would recommend them! Very nice people. (:

I highly recommend sewer lines only. They are a professional and thorough company. I have had a lot of problems with my roots because of the Clay foundation and they took the extra step by using a special type of equipment list plus to get rid of these routes. The technician had a scope and included a video after he was done. They charge a flat rate with no hidden fees. It's nice to know that there Are some honest companies in the world

Was charged $370 for a simple drain clean which other people charge less than$100 for. When asked why, he said he worked on commission and that he couldn't start out with less expensive options. Next time I need a plumber, I will check to see what the cost of cleaning a drain is BEFORE they arrive. Big rip off.

This guy will not leave me alone. Name calling and insults will not get you a better review from me. As far as the cat litter incident, he told me he made a mess, I down played it. He said No, it's a big mess, you better come downstairs and see. I downplayed it so much that of course I wasn't going to mention that in the review and be a jerk about it. He helped me with the upstairs faucets meaning he unscrewed the cap, rinsed dirt out of the aerator, and put it back together incorrectly so water started shooting out the the faucet in all directions. After he left I looked up how to do it on google and put it back together myself.

The gentleman who showed up was professional, efficient and thorough - we had an outdoor water spicket (bib) replaced entirely. That required indoor soldering, rerouting, and testing. Great job, done quick, and he was patient while we moved some storage items out of the way.

I recently moved into an older home and was referred to use Garvins because I was having kitchen sink issues. We scheduled an appointment for 6pm, and at 6:05pm, we got a call that the job up north took a little longer than expected, but that he was on the way. He came in, and after realizing that just snaking our sink would not do the trick he explained to me that our sink was going to a grease trap and we would need to bypass it, which would need to be done a different day. The plumber did not charge me due to not doing any work which I was very pleased with. We then had an appointment to get everything fixed and the job only took an hour and they were in and out, very nice, and their price was right.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
My request stated that were now operating on a wall switch after I installed a dimmer, that had not previously worked on this switch.
When they scheduled someone the same day, I thought - great, they'll be sending an electrician out to measure the voltages, etc. this company DOES NOT HAVE ELECTRICIANS.
They were able to fix one outlet that had a lose wire but left my other outlet looking like this, and want $119 for the hour we spent together scratching our heads.
Their business model is to get a tech out quickly, regardless of whether they can actually fix your problem. DO NOT TAKE THE QUICK APPOINTMENT.

Really, really, really happy with these guys.
I got an astronomical quote from another plumbing cont actor (also in my reviews), then got a recommendation to these guys from our neighbor, who is friends with someone whose dad works here.
Instead of paying the $1350-$1500 (plus maybe some electrical work) quoted by the other company, Cady Plumbing (I don't know the fellow's name, my boyfriend handled it) immediately started helping us work out the issue on the phone. I mean - free advice? So they don't have to actually come out? Meaning they won't get paid?
I've never HEARD of such a thing from a plumber!
After some testing they determined that it was a simple problem which took about 2 hours and a small replacement part to fix, to totalling $250 or so. We were incredibly happy to find a quality & qualified plumber that's wasn't looking to screw us because we don't know any better.
Now I've got a good plumber on call, and I couldn't be happier about it. Definitely consider giving these guys a chance when the time comes for you to fix annoying plumbing issues. The price is right, the people are nice, and best of all they are honest and do quality work. Thumbs up all around.

I do NOT recommend this company! They do not follow through, they do not return phone calls, and they do not stand by their bids. Also very difficult (and rude) to deal with... I strongly suggest you find a different HVAC or plumbing contractor.

Second time in a month these guys have save my bacon. This last time I had a main sewage blockage. Showed up same day on time and on budget. Charlie and Carlos are very personable and easy to work with.
