Really, really, really happy with these guys.

I got an astronomical quote from another plumbing cont actor (also in my reviews), then got a recommendation to these guys from our neighbor, who is friends with someone whose dad works here.

Instead of paying the $1350-$1500 (plus maybe some electrical work) quoted by the other company, Cady Plumbing (I don't know the fellow's name, my boyfriend handled it) immediately started helping us work out the issue on the phone. I mean - free advice? So they don't have to actually come out? Meaning they won't get paid?

I've never HEARD of such a thing from a plumber!

After some testing they determined that it was a simple problem which took about 2 hours and a small replacement part to fix, to totalling $250 or so. We were incredibly happy to find a quality & qualified plumber that's wasn't looking to screw us because we don't know any better.

Now I've got a good plumber on call, and I couldn't be happier about it. Definitely consider giving these guys a chance when the time comes for you to fix annoying plumbing issues. The price is right, the people are nice, and best of all they are honest and do quality work. Thumbs up all around.

**Find any other Plumbing company**
Cady Plumbing sent out two kids hardly over 18. They had to call the owner to ask what to look for. They sent him pictures I could have easily taken and sent. For 15 minutes of nothing they're charging me 150 dollars. This company has zero integrity and I've reported to the BBB.
After expressing my concerns, the owner decided to leave me an aggressive voicemail. Find a reputable company that doesn't charge for doing nothing.

WARNING: They told me they are no longer in business due to an illness over a year ago.  if true that's a very good thing.  They almost blew up my house with a cracked elbow in place then they took my money never finished the job & walked off the job saying there was maybe a gas leak!!!! NOT SURE THEY ARE MASTER PLUMBERS.  NEVER PULLED A PERMIT AS PROMISED.

THEY DO NOT HIRE GUYS WHO KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING.   Be very careful
Letting them work on your plumbing.

They stole the pressure gage off our gas line.  They didn't know how to plumb a sink (look at the pic) or put on a shower escutcheon!!

DO NOT CALL CADY PLUMBING IF THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS.

I contacted Cady plumbing on a Friday regarding a slow leak in my home. I I called first thing in the morning and asked for a callback, no one ever called back. I finally called late that afternoon and was able to make an appointment made for Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM. I stayed home from work waiting for the repair man and at close to
9 AM when nobody had arrived I contacted the office. The woman on the phone told me,all I can tell you is he is on his way.

The plumber showed up at just after 9 AM in jeans and a T-shirt with no identifier that he was with the company nor did he hand me a business card. I mention that I had called due to his tardiness and there was no reply.  He did not take off his shoes when he entered the home nor did he cover them with anything so he brought dirt  into the house.

He spent about 30 minutes trying to identify the problem, and was not able to. He wanted to start cutting holes into the wall to see if he could identify the problem, I declined.  Since he could not identify the problem he told me he would leave the service ticket up for a while so that if I did want them to come back out again and try to fix the issue I would not need to pay for another service call. Within a few days I received a bill in the mail for $135 for 30 minutes of service and no resolution. I never heard from them again

Follow up on my review:
My father came over today to look at the leak, and he was able to diagnose the problem in less than five minutes. Needless to say he did not charge me anything...

Cady fixed a leaky pipe at my house. Cady charged $210 per hour as the service fee. The call was not an emergency call, as the pipe had been leaking for weeks. I was not at home, but the plumber did not give an estimate before he began the work, did not explain to my wife that he was going to charge $210 per hour, and neither did he claim that it was emergency work that justified such a high rate.

Worst plumbers ever! You may get a great quote from Cady Plumbing but watch out when you have to deal with their scheduling and billing departments. It took months to get someone out to take care of my water heater because as I was told, they were having trouble with staff and were not well organized.  When I finally did get someone out to fix the problem I was charged for the initial visit which I was told would be part of the overall costs for installation. Then when I called to talk to the owner I was told by the billing department that he would not talk to me - he had handed over the bill to be collected by them and they would not pass a message on to him to call me. There are too many plumbers in Denver to have to deal with their poor customer service. Any business that does not allow you to speak with the owner is worrisome to say the least.
No stars for Cady.

I called Cady after they came highly recommended. I have a newly purchased Condo and the previous owners re-did the bathroom, but failed to put a wax ring under the toilet, so we had a small leak/smell. Cady got out to me the very next day. My issue is that the plumber put a very large chip in my bathtub. He apologized profusely and went to get some epoxy to fill it in.
While gone, he said he spoke to his Supervisor and there would be no charge. You can definitely still see the chip, but I figured I would use the savings from having no bill to get someone out to either repair or replace the tub.
Yesterday I received a bill in the mail for $7.50 for the wax ring and $189 for the hour that the plumber was there. Which should have been 30 minutes, according to him, but repairing the tub took another 30 minutes.  My boyfriend called in and they simply stated that's the charge. They also thought he hung up and proceeded to call him a jerk.
I understand that accidents happen, but now I have a brand new tub that needs repairing and a bill for something that took about 20 minutes....

Andrew replaced a Moen bathtub faucet cartridge which was a challenge since it was
stuck inside the valve body including the retaining ring.  He was very persistent and
knowledgeable and got the job done.  Two other well-known plumbers did not want
to touch this job because of negative complications should they not be able to
remove the old cartridge without damaging the valve body.  They also came on
time as promised. A good plumber is very hard to find!

I think these guys have new management. I called for another sewer line at a new property, they wouldn't even scope the line. They pulled up, walked from the street to the property and emailed a  blind bid. Not acceptable.

I called and asked for the invoice for my last work (my previous review) and gave the exact date and address, it took a week for them to find it. Not acceptable.

Family friends who have used Cady before recently had work done which wasn't done correctly, had them back 24 hours later for the same work and they charged them twice. Not acceptable.

It's not my job to work for their business.

Cady has lost our business.

Beware of an amazing quote they will give you during their free estimate to convince you to do their job.  They will then charge you for two men when only one is actually needed for the job, plus additional labor charges that *magically* up their total invoice to nearly double the originally quote.  Hundreds of dollars for labor for a less than $30 part that took less than an hour and 1/2 and an additional $600 for future work that I got done for $100 with someone else. Save your money and find someone more reputable.

We are so fortunate to have found Cady Plumbing -- a family-owned business for decades. Apparently they get all their business by way of referral -- no advertising -- just plain excellent and marvelous service which clearly goes NOTICED by many. They're utterly ethical and as kind as can be. I will even repeat this: they are utterly ethical -- and treat their customers like their family. We have been through the mill with plumb companies and .... well I'm sure it's not a secret that many focus on profit only. Cady does it right from first customer contact.

I lease commercial space in Arvada, CO and called a number of companies to come do a sewer line dig up and repair. Cady was by far the most responsive and competitive with pricing. I appreciated their professionalism in getting the work done quickly and correctly. No issues with city inspectors and limited closing of streetways. I would recommend them to any commercial property owner... and sadly enough I have issues at home now and will probably call them for plumbing repair there as well!

Cady Plumbing was a referral from a very trusted friend. In researching Cady, we saw that they are a family-owned business in operation since 1955.

We realized that plumbing issues which crop up during times of colder weather may result in a bit of a wait due to high demand. While not everyone can, or will want to, delay depending upon their plumbing issue, we held out for about two weeks until things were less busy.

When Kenny, the Service Manager, and Danny both arrived, the first thing Kenny stated was that we should have definitely let them know it was worst than what we stated by phone, and that they would have made it out much more quickly. We replied we were okay in that the water from the cracked pipe was on a concrete basement floor with a drain, and that a bucket or two caught the excess water only when we needed to turn on the water. Again, this was based on our specific issue.

Kenny and Danny did their assessment, based on the info provided, and quickly and expediently installed a temporary shutoff valve on the affected pipe running down to the basement. They then recommended an excellent tile removal expert in order to determined where the pipe actually was cracked in the upper bath in order to replace it.

One tile was removed in the shower area upstairs to expose the piping. Kenny and Danny returned, found the actual cracked pipe really quickly, and were able to instead make the repairs through the opposite bath's drywall under the vanity, eliminating additional tile to be removed from the other bath, which would have been quite costly.

Each two visits, they arrived on time, were courteous, professional, honest, and efficient. On the second visit, they completed the major repairs within 1-1/2 hours. One could not tell work was performed, as everything was left neat and tidy.

As for billing, Kenny was very thorough in explaining the process upfront on the first visit, and no issues, whatsoever.

The tile expert also returned and re-installed the one tile, just as effortlessly and quickly as he had removed it.

For what it's worth, we had a large company provide an estimate prior to Cady Plumbing--part of our taking it slow, in spite of the leak. We were told all the tile in the shower would require removal, as well as the shower pan, with a quote that went through the stratosphere, and that was just for the plumbing--not the tile!

So very glad and so very pleased with the professional and accurate work did by Cady Plumbing.

We will be returning to Cady Plumbing in late spring/early summer for some plumbing work in our kitchen.

Kenny with Cady Plumbing is AWESOME! I had a sewer issue backup and called another company out to snake line. They claimed it couldn't be snaked and then told me they would send out a camera for another $150.00 to look at it. This made no sense as the drain was full of black water. Kenny called me, sent out Discount Sewer and Drain and cleared the line in 45 seconds. They then sent a camera through and found our issue! He has been responsive to all of my calls and would highly recommend!

Found my new plumbers - I'll be calling them again if and when any needs arise. I had a hot water dispenser that developed a leak. They sent someone out quickly and he arrived when he said he would (*gasp*). He didn't charge for the initial visit and suggested I order a replacement unit myself since I could get it cheaper (wow). He called with the part information when he said he would (another gasp), and then when I called to let them know I had the unit in hand, they sent someone to install it at a very reasonable price. Overall friendly, reliable, competent, and seem to have the customer's best interest at heart. Highly recommend.

I rarely give anyone 5 stars, but these guys deserve it. I had an issue with my toilet leaking and was quoted about $400 to fix it by other plumbers. When these guys came out they looked at it and gave my husband the stuff to fix it himself for free. They didn't charge us a nickle! Great service! I plan on using them whenever I need plumbing work done again.
