These folks are rare these days! Responsive, personable, and very accommodating with extremely fair prices. As good as it gets in this business. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I came home at 4:00 p.m. and noticed that I had a leaking water heater.  I called Brad Company and they were out within an hour.  Dave was professional and explained things to me about the replacement and removal.  He gave me a quote up front and considering it was an emergency and I was leaving town, I went ahead and agreed to the service.  The quality was exceptional.  I was just a little concerned that because of the timing, I may have been charged a little more.  I hope that is not the case.  I'm just glad it was all taken care of in a quick and professional manner.

Forget the guys in the pretty pink trucks. They know how to sell additional services. A&M just comes and gets the job done! No fancy bait prices, just quality work at a reasonable price.

Oz did a fantastic job installing a new shower valve and diverter in our 100 year old bathroom, working with tile that was the same age. Very skilled and takes his time to visualize the whole project before he starts. He's a gem.

He also snaked our sink drain and had a lot of tips for other areas of our property.

We heard a leak in our crawlspace. I called Independent Plumbing Solutions and booked their earliest appointment which was a couple days out. My husband was antsy to get it looked at that day, but after an appalling quote and pushy tech from a bigger plumbing company, we decided to wait for our appointment with Independent Plumbing Solutions. Totally worth the wait! The plumber was punctual and polite, and got us all fixed up in no time. When the invoice arrived, the charge was very reasonable, and we are totally satisfied with the service.

Gary and JJ helped me out with my kitchen remodel, including moving a washer and dryer and installing an electric not water heater. They both did a great job.

Needed a new sink and an overflow put in my kitchen so I went ahead and looked up faucet installation in my area. Went forth and picked this company and everything turned out perfect and I was very pleased with the professionalism and how smooth the process went. Justin and his team came out the same day I called. They got the heat working in our sunroom that we've had trouble with for years. They were reasonable and efficient.

I had a kitchen sink that wouldn't drain very well.  This was just about a year after a similar experience with me calling a different company led to a complete sewer line repair when their drain cleaner got caught 9 feet deep under my house (well since you have to dig to get the cleaner out why don't we just replace the whole line which is falling apart but not in awful shape?).  I was looking for a smaller company.  I came across Jimmy Rooter and his rates sounded very reasonable.  But I was afraid of there being a problem and his cleaner getting caught underneath my house in a 'crack' that was before where they replaced.  I couldn't sleep the night before he was to come.  When he (actually his son) came I joked about how I was afraid it would get caught and he showed me the head he would use on my line and explained how it was common for companies to use 'blades' on the snake for the express purpose of getting them stuck in the small cracks that develop in the old clay pipes.  He assured me that using the right head would prevent this from happening.  He snaked my line and ran water.  It ran a bit better but still backed up.  He went to his van and got a completely new line and ran it down again and this time it worked.  The charge was very reasonable and as he left I thought about how I wished I had found him a year ago instead of a company in whose interests it was to manufacture a problem since they also happen to replace sewer lines.  I highly recommend them - imagine a company who only cleans the drains and doesn't give BS.  I hope I don't have to call a drain cleaner again, but if I do they will be my first call.

We had several small issues we wanted a plumber to look at and Beau responded quickly online to my request for a quote. Pete came out and was timely, friendly,  knowledgeable and asked a reasonable price. We will definitely keep him in mind for future plumbing needs!

The communications I had with them were regular and clear; these guys came out to bid on a job that the scheduled plumbers (McComb Plumbing) had gone to go another job in the middle of the same project I hired Bluefrog for and never returned) bailed on. They were able to come out the same morning I touched base and the rep/plumber, Ryan, was clear and no-nonsense. The bid came quickly through email.

The price was higher than I'd hoped for; I'd been told the job would be done by a team of two and take 4-5 hours; it was only one person and it took more than 8 hours. (A second guy did come for about an hour.)

The project was to extend a gas line to allow me to get a new range and dryer. Everything got set up and running.

I'd recommend them!

We have using Jared and Royal Flush for all of plumbing needs for about a year now. He has diagnosed, repaired and replaced all kinds of leaky faucets, pipes and valves in our old house. Would highly recommend Jared. He's incredibly easy to work with, very responsive via text and an over-all good hearted person. He's the Royal Flush! :-)

They took a while to complete the work because they're booked/busy, but they were fair and honest. First plumber quoted us $750 for the same job Day did for $100 trip fee and 2 hours at $150/h. So, that's for $400, for the non math people. Savings of $350, nearly half.

Prompt, friendly, thorough and efficient.  Helped me out on short notice and didn't up-charge for the rush.  High recommend!  Will certainly be using his service in the future :)

Andrew is great! My water heater went out over the weekend so as soon as Monday hit I called around. Andrew ended up finding a way to figure out what I needed, came over after he finished the job he was working on that day and got me back with hot water. His price was under what everyone else was quoting. I was very happy with everything.

So, after having to run off a guy from Precision Plumbing for trying to rip me off by overcharging me by $160.00 I called American Rooter. I asked him on the phone how much he would charge me for clearing a clogged toillet and he told me $98.00. I asked him to come by. He came over and within 5 minutes cleared the toilet and then wrote me an invoice that came out to an even $100. He was professional, did not try to upsell me, did not try to BS me in any way, and just fixed the problem, charged me what he told me it was going to cost, and left. What a refreshing experience. I will call on these guys anytime I need anything done, and will refer him to everyone I can. As for Precision Plumbing...........my advice to everyone is to stay away from them. What they tell you on the phone is not what I was told, and even when the guy came out and I rejected his first offer to clear my toilet for $260, then he told me he had to go call his boss to see if he could do better. He came back in in less than a minute and told me he would do it for $160. This, all after they dispatcher told me it would be $59 plus parts......

Go with American Rooter, they are honest, and fair!!!

Easy to schedule service visit. Arrived on time, courteous and respectful, discussed issue with us, and explained plan of attack. Quickly addressed the drain clog we had, tightened up a loose faucet for us, and ensured the space was cleaner than he found it! Will be sure to call for any future plumbing needs or maintenance!

Two hose bibs (outdoor faucets) needed replacing. I provided the new ones. I was told I needed to pay $420 for replacing each one. $7 a minute (each hose bib would take an hour).
then, when I wasn't stupid enough to be taken advantage of, they wanted to charge me $39 for showing up and telling me they didn't know how to do what I asked, but a technician would come and do it.
Then... they WROTE MY CREDIT CARD INFO INCLUDING VERIFICATION NUMBER AND EXPIRATION DOWN...IN TRIPLICATE... ON A PAPER stored in a file....
at least they have a file of credit card numbers they can abuse whenever they wanthin violation of PCI compliance...
How are these people in business?

I truly NEVER do reviews, but this one is most warranted! We are selling our home and the buyer had a sewer scope inspection done with a company that felt very questionable to us. We felt that in order to ensure we were getting honest results we should have our own inspection performed as well. I had A LOT of anxiety finding and choosing a company that I felt would be honest with me. ABS came highly recommended, and after speaking with Travis I felt good about having them perform the inspection. The service guy, Doug, was EARLY this never happens! Although he had to wait on my arrival, he was gracious and greeted me with a huge smile. He performed the inspection to find we needed the sewer cleaned. We thought it was going to need a jetting which is quite a bit more, which as everyone knows in selling a home expenses can really add up! He decided he was going to try his hardest to get the pipes cleaned with a cable cleaning. He went through them 3 times and spent 3.5 hours at our home! My son was so enthralled with the whole process, and stood in the bathtub watching the whole time lol, but Doug was awesome with him, explaining the process to him and answering his questions. I honestly can not say enough good things about ABS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
