I used Shoreline Electric about a year ago to install my motion sensor lights. No issues after one year. More recently, we needed more light in my office, our ceiling fan light wasn't cutting it. Jayson had an opening in his schedule to fit me in within 3 business days. He showed up on time, laid down sheets of plastic to protect our room from being covered in insulation, and he finished the job within 2 hrs. I now have screw-in LED bulbs for easy replacement when the bulbs eventually go bad. When Jayson was done, he cleaned up any insulation that might have made its way off the plastic sheets.
So do I have anything negative? Not really, other than I would prefer it to be less obvious that he smokes.
Aside from that, I cannot complain. He's very personable and seems to always be in a great mood! He has no problem answering questions you might have!

I had Shoreline Electric do some work for me at my house. Did a great job, fair price and looks great.
After they installed a security light that was at a very high placement on my house, the light would not turn off. Spoke to them, he came out and adjusted it, as I thought he had. That night, I tried to use the light as a security light, motion sensor wise, it would not turn off. I texted Shoreline three times in a week, NO ANSWER. He's a good guy, does good work, but customer service follow up, well............
After purchasing a commercial building the electrical work in the suite was a mess. Jayson did a wonderful job by sorting it all out and making sure all the rooms in the offices had proper lighting and fixtures. He even installed my chandelier in my lobby. I highly recommend him and will use him again. Thank you.

What a great experience! Not only did Jayson install 3 new outlets around the perimeter of my house, but he also answered my questions about low voltage landscape lighting. I've always wanted to install lights around my house, and finally because of Jaysons assistance I was able to do it! This was not a how-to, for those of you thinking about this. I only had a few questions. It did not take much of his time, but it provided me with some additional confidence to move forward with the job. Jayson did not try to nickel and dime me either. His price was fair and he was quick! Definitely recommend.

I have used this electrician a few years ago, so I am really disappointed that I have to agree with a couple of other people on here. Jayson does not return calls and is not responsive, just as some other people on here have said. One review that he responded to was from 2017 and he apologized for not calling back, saying he was understaffed. It's 2021.. four years later. Makes me wonder. And makes me wonder how he picks and chooses his jobs. Too bad because I have a lot of work coming up with my landscape lighting. Oh well.

Jayson repaired several electrical issues when I first moved in. Then I had a new problem that he walked me through and resolved over the phone. He is an excellent electrician and a nice person.
My wife and I needed a few electrical jobs done inside and outside of our house. Jayson came and listened to what we needed and gave us excellent quotes for the proposed work.
Jayson was able to install a ceiling fan, and outdoor light, an outdoor motion light and two indoor sconces. The work he did was amazing. Jayson was very clean and thorough. He gave great suggestions while also listening to our desires. We couldn't be more happier with the work that Jayson has done and would definitely make him our go-to electrician. *First time using this company 5 out of 5 (Jayson installed a total of six chandeliers in one day).
*Second time 5 out of 5...(Jayson fixed our oven electrical issue right before Christmas for FREE! I was quoted by another contractor in person for $5,500.00 to replace the whole electrical panel box .... Which we didn't need!!!

Jayson responded on initial call. Told him about an intermittent problem and asked if this was something he could fix. I would call him as soon as it occurred. Called and texted him back 2 weeks later but never heard from him.

Shoreline Electric did an awesome job at my house. I had Jason install several ceiling fans with switches along with some exterior security lighting. He did a fast and clean job and he was super cool. I was really open to suggestion for my lighting and he was very knowledgeable about what would be best for my house. He even fixed some shotty exterior wiring that was installed by someone else and made it look awesome! I am going to have Shoreline come back and do my garage lighting and even some more interior lighting soon!

Shoreline electric provided great quality service. Not only that but they are also very easy to talk to and work with. After receiving a quote that was too good to pass up, we had them do almost the entire house.

Thanks to all of the positive reviews that I found on Yelp, I contacted Shoreline Electric to do a few things around my house. I had Jayson and Nick come out to install a ceiling fan, 4 pendant lights, and 6 LED can lights last week. I scheduled my appointment one week before the installation date, Jayson confirmed the appointment with me two days before arrival.
The day of the appointment Jayson contacted me to let me know that he was on the way. Since it was a day off for me I appreciated his professionalism and the heads-up. When the guys arrived I showed them the area where I wanted them to install the new lights. I took their advice as far as location and distance from the walls, after all, these guys are the pros. After I gave them the OK they started covering up my furniture right away. I watched them work for the most part, I could tell right away that these guys not only knew what they were doing, they were good at it.
My wife and I went with LED light fixtures that Shoreline had suggested, we could not be happier with the final outcome. We also opted to have all of our new lights installed with dimmer switches since they are in the TV room. My wife ordered some fancy pendant lights from Restoration Hardware and we both picked a nice remote controlled Minka Aire ceiling fan from Amazon. Jayson had no trouble installing and wiring everything for us, he only looked at the directions once ;)
Since I added a few things to the list once the guys got started they had to make a parts run, I asked Jayson if he could also pick up and install a motion sensor switch in our walk-in pantry. Not only did he get a great looking switch, he only charged me for the actual cost of the switch.
If you are looking to have any electrical work done around your house, do yourself a favor and contact Shoreline Electric first. Now that we have the LED's that Shoreline installed, the rest of our builder lights look cheap and way too bright. My wife and I plan on having them come back soon to get rid of all the ugly builder CFL can lights. Kudos to these guys, great company, fair pricing, quality installations, what more could you ask for? This is a down to earth family owned business that has earned my respect and future referrals.

Shoreline Electric responded promptly to my yelp inquiry and were able to start the job without delay. They arrived when they said they would and worked quickly and neatly. The price was reasonable and they made sure there were no unexpected add ons. They were able to install a single court light that illuminates the entire basketball halfcourt for a reasonable price. We've asked many other electricians over the years who shied away from this job, or didn't know how to do it, but these guys knew exactly what they were doing and knocked it out quickly. They also did some commercial work for me. I would definitely recommend them for all your electrical needs.

I needed to replace the smoke detectors in my home and Jason did an excellent job. I had bought 6 detectors and it was not until Jason arrived that he found I was 1 short. I want to thank Jayson for doing such a fine job at my house recently. I called Shoreline because I needed the following:
1. Wall switches for my 6 ceiling fans which worked with 6 different remote controls.
2. New LED can lights with dimmer wall switches.
3. I new light on the outside of my house.
4. New breakers in my fuse panel
5. Label my fuse panel so I know which breaker does what in an emergency.
6. Rerouting wires in a bathroom
I am very happy with the work that was done in my home. Moreover, I was very happy with the fact that Shoreline did everything which was needed to get the job done right. I will be bringing Shoreline back into my home for additional electrical work.

Jayson provided excellent service at my home. He is the owner and I could tell that he goes to great lengths to provide the best service possible. I HIGHLY recommend using him for your residential needs.
Contacted Jayson based on a recommendation from a friend to see about getting a chandelier installed in an entryway. The challenge was the 18' ceiling. Jayson was great to work with. He made a few recommendations and we scheduled a time to have the work done. The price he quoted was very reasonable and competitive. They showed up and completed the work as scheduled, and cleaned up completely. And best of all, the new chandelier looks great! They did a fantastic job.
Would I recommend Shoreline? Yes. Would I use them again, if needed? Heck yes!
Shoreline Electric is great. I contacted them and spoke to Jason who came out the following day to give me a quote on installing recessed lighting and changing out a lot of switches to make it all automated, his quote was the best and he was the most knowledgable.
The install took place less than a week later and everything looks amazing and works perfectly. They prepped all the areas and cleaned up as well. Jason was also very patient and answered any questions I had.

Stop looking around and just hire shoreline. Jason and jay were amazing. Then will treat your house just like they would treat theirs. I hired Jason to install 14 can lights in my kitchen and my living room. Jason did everything he could to install my lights without cutting in the drywall. After working more than two extra hours to fish the wires through my pantry and not the ceiling of my kitchen, he did it !!! -- 14 can lights without ceiling cuts. Amazing job Jason. He saved me hundreds by not having to hire a drywall company.

Jayson of Shoreline Electric has been our go-to electrician since moving to our new home in 2013. He's reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and skilled. His prices are very competitive. He delivered exactly as promised. I have referred and will continue to refer friends and my real estate clients to this company.
I'm rating 5 stars just for honesty. I called and don't know much about anything electric. I had all outlets stop working out of nowhere (in just my bathrooms) and reset the GFI in the kitchen and they still were not working! So I called in and instead of him taking advantage of a female who knows nothing, he said to double check again, maybe in the garage for another gfi. He said, before I charge you $95 just to press the reset button. Sure enough, I found it and I have working outlets again. Thanks again! I will definitely be calling for other issues should they be needed.
I have never been so relieved finding an electrician who is down to earth, professional and up front. His second hand nature of customer service is by far hands down the best. Jayson and (can't remember his name) did a great job today on a number of issues at my house. He quoted me a reasonable price over the phone to install some carriage lights on my garage and move around some ceiling fans.
When he arrived I asked him about installing some LED lights in my kitchen and agin the price was reasonable and he said they could get it done that day. Jayson took at least 2 trips to get all the parts he needed (a breaker needed replaced too) and was informative every step of the way. They even put up with my cattle dog's crazy barking all day.

I have to start by saying that as a real estate broker, I've had the opportunity to use many contractors and services over the past 6 years. Well, I can only say that I was extremely satisfied with the service from Jayson and Justin. I was having electrical issues from previous work done by other contractors and they came in and fixed it in no time. They showed up on time and were super reasonable with their charges.

Jayson was a God send! He was working on a neighbor's house across the street and we totally bombarded him TWICE! The first occasion was around Christmas time when we were putting up lights and had a shortage he walked over and helped us figure it out at no cost. Today, we asked him about the stair lights as he was leaving our neighbors house and without hesitation he came over and began checking wires and such all over. He never made us feel like he was in a rush or that we needed to have the appointment. He took his time and I'm sure it was the last thing he wanted to do at the end of his day, but he did it and he was happy to help. I had Jayson out to today to install 3 ceiling fans. He was on time, worked very neatly, didn't have to clean up after him. Did a great job and was very conscientious and would highly recommend him!
We had a problem with our circuit breaker box in our Temecula, California house. A couple of the circuits would trip for no reason and there was no particular pattern to the problem so we could not figure out what was causing this to happen.
I called Jayson at Shoreline Electric and he came out and said those two circuits were faulty and needed to be replaced. So, Jayson replaced the circuits with new, better ones and now the problem we had with the circuits tripping is gone.
Jayson was very knowledgeable and did not try to up-sell or over-sell anything. I will recommend Jayson @ Shoreline Electric to friends and neighbors.
I am happy to be the 100th review for Jayson and Shoreline Electric. Having moved into a new place, I needed Jayson to fix some items that showed up on the home inspection, as well as add some accent lighting around the house and in the yard. Jayson is always professional, appreciates his customers, and does a thorough and efficient job with whatever we throw at him. I was particularly impressed that he was able to not only customize our edison light strings on our pergola, but that he offered to hang them as well. He provided me a quote over the phone to install a chandelier on a 18 foot ceiling which I found to be very reasonable. He and Justin came out and were very easy to work with. Very professional. Jason and his crew were hired to install LED lighting all throughout our new home. We also had them install new automatic dimmer sensors throughout the house. They were able to match a very competitive quote and were able to come out right away to get started. Yesterday, Jayson and Justin did electrical work at my house. My wife and I were impressed with the professionalism and honesty throughout the entire process. When Jayson came to our house to see what we wanted done, he explained the things that we could do ourselves for a cheaper price and that the ideas we were thinking weren't going to fix the issues that we had.

Had an outlet that seemingly caused the demise of a (cheap, older) Black n Decker toaster oven. Horrible, rubber /plastic burning smell. Tossed it, bought a new, more $$ one, worked fine for 2 weeks, then the smell returned! Called Jayson, he came out yesterday, the outlet wiring looked ok, but he checked/tested everything, including the oven and replaced the outlet anyway in case it was the inside of a plug. He even had to run to Lowe's to get the right color plugs...and only charged me the cost of the $95 one hour service call! Jayson is ethical, knowledgeable, a nice guy and fun to chat with. He thoroughly answered all my questions, has great manners and is looking for return business the right way (won't try to rip you off). He has mine!
I've experienced Jason and Justin's work on numerous occasions. These guys are amazing! They keep the work area very clean and the holes they have to make to run the wire are extremely small. AMAZING Electrician!!!! You went to the right electrician, when you turn on a light and hear awe inspiring music... That's when you use Shoreline Electric!! Jayson did such a fantastic job! I'm remodeling one of my houses and he installed recessed lighting in my entire home. My house changed from drab to ultrafab! It looked like a model home after he installed the lighting. The handy work was very clean cut, not messy at all. Hands down, don't need to look at other competitors, he's top notch! I called Shoreline to install two ceiling fans (new wiring) and an extra outlet in our hall. They got here right when they said they would. I asked if they'd be able to also get a pendant lamp installed, or if they'd have to come back for it since I didn't schedule it. They said it would be no problem at all.
They started running the wire in the crawl space, so I went out to the garage to get the fans. I brought up the mounting plates and the base and went back for the blades. By the time I came back, the base was already installed. They are that fast!
It took them less time to run the wires, drill the hole in the ceiling, install the fan box, and put the fan up than it takes me to just hang a fan in a box that's already installed.
The whole project only took a couple of hours, including cleanup. They put plastic down in each room they worked in and used a special attachment on the drill so the dust from the ceiling was caught. There wasn't a speck of dirt left behind.
On top of all this, the work itself looks perfect. I can't tell the difference between the outlets and switches installed by the builder and those installed by Shoreline. I was afraid they'd stick out from the 10 year old switches, but I can't tell them apart.
We want to put a fan in our covered patio eventually. I'll definitely be calling Shoreline Electric when we're ready.
Jayson just left my place and I am 100 percent satisfied with the work. He made a special effort to squeeze me in on short notice, arrived on time, completed the work within the hour and I was charged exactly what he said it would cost. Granted, it was simple work (replacing a recessed lighting can, installing a bubble outlet, checking a few circuits), but it was done well.
Jayson is also a nice and outgoing guy, answering any questions and making time to connect with customers. Electricians are people you hope not to see often, but I will definitely use Shoreline again when the need arises.

I called Jayson two days ago to get a new outlet installed, he gave me his prices over the phone and we set up an appointment over the phone and he showed up this AM to do the work as promised. He was running a few minutes behind due to his van's battery, but he called to let me know he would be there about 20 minutes after my scheuled appointment. He charged me a flat hourly fee and was done early, so he fixed a few other electrical items that I needed to get fixed he took care of.
He was also the FIRST serviceperson in my house to put down plastic and tape up the area around he was working. No one in the IE has ever does that working at my house. I grabbed my phone to run up and take a picture of his work area to post to Yelp, but he finished the job so quickly, that he had already cleaned up!
Jayson is super friendly and nice and comfortable to have in your house - I will definately call him back if I need more work done!

You can't go wrong here! Call Jayson and schedule your work. He hooked up an attic fan in the lower attic, plus a whole house fan upstairs, along with outlet work in the backyard. He did it by himself and was extremely curteous, efficient and then end result is sheer joy! I will definitely use them again! Thank you!!

I can't say enough good things about Shoreline Electric. It started by calling Shoreline based on these fine Yelp reviews by other customers. I called a little after their published business hours but Jayson, the owner, answered the phone anyway. My dog chewed up my fan remote, which I wasn't too pleased with anyway, and I wanted to just remove the remote controls in the fan and just have a conventional pull-chain style like the rest of my fans.
After quoting me his standard estimate call price, he asked if I was either a Senior or a Veteran. As I was both, Jayson offered a discount right off the bat. Here's a guy who respects his fellow citizens just for starters.
He showed up right on time the following morning, personable, honest and with helpful ideas which I hadn't considered but chose because of their practicality and reasonable price. He took out the remote controls from the fan and noticed that the housing didn't have a pull-chain. He suggested a wall switch that allowed me not only to have 3 speed options as with the original fan capabilities but 6 speeds at the wall switch, with auto-memory when turned back on. It added the convenience of not having to get on a step stool to reach up for a pull chain and was a great solution. AND when he made out the final bill, the price for the device was also less than he originally quoted.
This guy is honest, likeable and a pleasure. I'll have Jayson do all of any future electrical repairs around our house for sure and can't recommend him highly enough. You won't go wrong hiring Jayson either for price or quality of service.

They were professional, prompt, thorough, kept clean work areas, their prices were very fair and never changed throughout the job and the quality of their work is top notch. We had 5 ceiling fans and a whole house fan installed and we are very happy with all of the work they have done. They even fixed a couple of small electrical issues we had in our home without charge.
I wish I could say this about all of the companies I have hired to do work on my home over the years, but sadly no. These guys are great! I will definitely be calling them for my future electrical needs.

We recently moved to the Menifee area and needed electrical work for our home. With all the companies out there to choose from we were a little skeptical about who to call. After reading the reviews on Yelp about Shoreline electric we decided to give them a call. They installed ceiling fans and lights in my home. Throughout the process Jayson explained everything that they were going to be doing, sort of like a surgeon getting ready to operate on you. Everything was completed in a neat and professional manner. I have no complaints about their quality of work performed. I will be sure to give them a call in the future for some other projects of mine to come.

Jayson did a great job for us. We had several little jobs-installing smoke detectors, putting a covered outlet on an outside wall, replacing some wiring-and Jayson did it all in good time, with good cheer, for a good price. We will certainly call him again the next time we need an electrician.

After hiring a local experienced electrical handyman, I was without electricity in two rooms! I contacted Jayson, thinking my whole house was in trouble! He was able to come out the next day and locate the problem within 5 minutes of being there. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, even my dogs liked Jayson! I would recommend him to anyone who has any lighting or electrical issues! In addition his prices were very reasonable instead of what he could get for his service, he charges what he has to! It has been many YEARS since we were last caught off guard by this level of excellence in product. From the first minute I spoke to Jayson, throughout the several conversations loaded with my detailed questions, and until the minute he walked out of our front door, Jayson conducted himself in a manner you might call old school.
The respect given to us and to our home was exceptional. We came to understand that his extensive experience and exposure to extreme standard of performance obviously led him to be the person that he is. I cannot emphasize how refreshing this was.
After reading several of his reviews I was concerned that his prices might exceed our budget. Interestingly, his quote was right in the middle of the quotes I received, while his communication skills made all the others seem lacking. The end product was fantastic, with not a spec of dust or lingering doubt left behind. MUCH APPRECIATED.
Called Jayson with shoreline electric to get a quote for recessed can lights, ceiling fan install and exterior lighting.....Quote was a little more than others, however the work was OUTSTANDING. I went with Shoreline because of the recommendations on this site. Trust me when i say, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Pay a little more for top quality is better than saving a buck or two. He installed six can lights, ceiling fan and two exterior lights for me at the price quoted. I also had him add some additional features and he only charged me for the price of the parts (No extra charge for the time to install). He arrived on time, put down plastic wrap on the ground and cleaned up all messes he made. Very respectful and personable. Will definitely call Shoreline again when the need arises. Call him, get a quote, hire him and sit back and enjoy....YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
P.S. If you need drywall repair (For the small holes he has to put in the wall), he recommended a great drywall guy (Frank, Wall Works).

I phoned Jayson after blowing a circuit breaker. Rather than charging me $75 for a minor housecall, he talked me through it and I reset the breaker (I had previously tried, but failed). Viola! If you want great service and unbelievable professionalism you have to use Jayson with Shoreline Electric. I called out Jayson almost 2 years ago to do some ceiling fan installs in my home and some chandeliers. After seeing his work and how he covered the work area and cleaned everything up once the work was complete was just beyond me. Jayson has been doing work for my company now and I will always highly recommend him for anyone's home or business.
I did what everybody else does...My electric outlets in my kitchen all went out while my morning coffee was brewing. I jumped onto yelp to see if there's such a thing as an honest electrician who's fair in the area. I saw all the wonderful reviews about Shoreline and took a chance. I left a message..Jayson called back within 15 minutes. He asked if he could come by and check it out as his other job was changed to 10am. He checked, diagnosed, ran and got 2 parts, and my electricity was up and running within 30 minutes. All at a more than reasonable price!! I have owned 4 homes and never had such a honest technician come out when dealing with electrical problems. Usually, you need to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion as it turns into a complete re-wire job. Do yourself a favor and if you need an electrician, call Jayson. He installed light fixtures on my house that required installing new wiring. He first gave me an estimate and told me exactly what needed to be done. He was prompt, honest in his pricing, left the work area clean, and the lights look and work perfectly.
I had been putting off getting this work done as i was afraid how much it would cost and that the electrician would try to up-sell me on fixtures or other work. Jayson did not do this and was a pleasure to do business with.

I read the Yelp reviews for Jayson of Shoreline Electric and called him right away. After talking to him, I was confident that I had the right person for the job. He came out the next day and fixed everything that I needed. He found shoddy wiring in many places and fixed it all in a snap. He put in ground fault interrupters in the bathroom and kitchen, fixed the wiring to my sprinkler system and checked all of the outlets in my house. I can rest easy that my house is now safe and sound. If you need an electrician, call Jayson. He is wonderful. He is personable and reasonable as well. Jayson did an amazing job! He had a crazy schedule and was able to fit me in which I really appreciated. He answered all my questions and told me that I could get remotes and which ones were the better ones to get. I had two ceiling fans put in, one downstairs and he DIDNT have to cut ANY drywall! It was amazing and saved us $ not having to get the drywall fixed! Very helpful and very professional team. Gave me great advice on adding some lighting to a bonus room and kitchen. We asked him to install a new 220 outlet in our building and after he inspected it, he said it would not be safe to do so. He found us a safe legal place for the install that worked for our application. 3 years later and Shoreline Electric is just as awesome as they where when they did work for us the first time. We've had them fix faulty electrical that came with the house, as well as adding can lights and ceiling fans on an entire floor of our house. We've also referred them to friends that all had rave reviews. You will not be disappointed if you call Shoreline Electric for your electrical needs.
I contacted Jayson to perform a couple of ceiling fan installs. The price was good (lower than I was expecting), and Jayson showed up and got right to work. WOW! Very professional and pleasant! I had a bathroom fan installed, the light switch on a ceiling fan repaired, added a can light to my kitchen, removed a heavy chandelier and installed new track lighting and ceiling fan in the living room. Efficient, pleasant and reasonably priced. They cover with plastic, remove boxes that the items came in and left my home as if they hadn't been there ---except for the beautiful work they did. I will call Jason for any other electrical needs I may have. I HIGHLY recommend Shoreline Electric.

Highly recommended! Great customer service. Jayson was professional, on-time and honest. He told me that the box of bulbs were bad and that there was no short. He easily could have said that there was something wrong. He absolutely will be our electrician to call from now on.
The previous owners of our late 90's tract house didn't do a single update to it. When we moved in many of the plugs were loose and our dining room had no power at all. We called Shoreline based on Yelp reviews and he gave me a quote for a whole home plug and switch change. I was able to get an appointment for within the week. In my mind the price was reasonable and they worked fast. When I was a little disappointed that they didn't change the plates for our coaxial cables to match the plates for our new switches, Jayson and Nick went out of their way to get the extra supplies and make everything match, look shiny and new. Jayson was easy to get a hold of, and made it a point to answer any extra questions we had. I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future (which I am sure we will need with this old house!)

Needed a quote for liting fixtures in my kitchen. Jayson came out and gave me what I feel was a fair quote, however he also seemed like a reputable business owner. Jayson completed the job, and added a little extra touch up that he mentioned should be done and did not charge me for this. He is a knowledgeable person and more important honest. They would be late, sometimes never arrive at all, or do a complete hack job and I'd have to get another one out to fix what the last bozo did. Thank God I found Jayson on Yelp! He came out to my house on a Friday afternoon to quote me on some recessed lighting fixtures and a few other small jobs. His prices were really good and he came back the following Monday to install everything. He showed up Monday when he said he would and did an amazing job. Jayson used plastic drop sheeting over all my floor and furniture to prevent dust/dirt from getting everywhere. he is meticulous and treated my house as if it was his. If you need an electrician, you're doing yourself a dis-service by not giving Jayson @ Shoreline Electric a call. I guarantee you'll be pleased as was I.

It was remodeled to look 2012, but the insides are still 1988. We need a lot of work done, so we have scheduled him to come about 4 times over 3 months. So far, he has put in an outlet and connected switches to the lights in the rooms. He is very respectful of your home and tries really hard not to leave a mess. THIS IS IT! I found Jayson and Shoreline Electric with the help of Yelp. After reading the overwhelming amount of 5 star reviews, we called and Jayson called us back that same day. We needed four can lights with a dimmer in an office that didnt have any current lights at all . We also asked about having a transformer/controller box for LED illumination spotlight in the front of the house installed with a new outlet on the outside of our house. We were using the outlet on our back patio with the box being held up with a chair and a long extension of wire. I was quoted over the phone and after comparing it with other bids we set a date. The night before installation, he called to confirm the next morning which was very professional. Jayson showed up today, on time with another worker named Jay. They explained what they were doing, showed us a mock up of where the lighting would be and after our ok went to work. They not only covered our desk and surrounding furniture with plastic, but also covered our carpet as well. He also assured us that he drills with parts that catch the drywall/debris to minimize the mess. They were able to use existing outlets throughout our house to make the new ones without having to open up the wall. With the new addition of the can lights, there were only two spots that needed to be repaired/patched (Jayson gave us his drywall guy named Frank) but it was completely minimal. I was thinking there would be these big holes but it was just cut out and replaced only showing the outline of the original cut. The dimmer switch he installed is much nicer than the ones that we have that were installed by our builder. The outside outlet that was installed was recessed and he secured our transformer box as well. We paid exactly what we were quoted. I called Shoreline based on the reviews I found on yelp. I needed a quote on installing a 220 volt outlet for a dryer (only gas hookup existed) in my home. I spoke with Jayson and he quoted me over the phone, but mentioned that depending on the location of the dryer, the price could be more or less than the quote depending on what he found when he arrived. He was able to schedule me the following morning (which was great on such short notice)! When Jayson and his associate arrived, they surveyed the situation, and advised that our existing shielding on the wiring in the garage was not up to code. Jayson offered to fix that for me in addition to installing the 220-v outlet. I was expecting to take a hit for the extra work/shielding, but was pleasantly surprised when Jayson fixed it free of charge!. Now my home is safer than before, AND I have a working dryer. Jayson was friendly, efficient, polite, and left no mess behind. He also charged a very fair price for the quality of service and work he provided. I would highly recommend Shoreline to anyone in need of an electrician, and will be calling Shoreline anytime I need an electrician!
