I called Pacific Coast Home Services in an emergency with my entire house including all bathrooms backed up.  TJ was the foreman that was sent with Juan and Carlos.  They were all very knowledgeable and quickly identified the issue as a main sewer break in the crawl space.  They referred a restoration company and they came to clean up the mess the next morning.  As soon as the are was clean, TJ came again with Juan and Carlos in the afternoon and worked into the early evening to replace an old cast iron section with ABS and installed a convenient clean out to avoid issues in the future.  They had to make a lot of improvisations to make a good fit as the previous plumbers had cut some corners.  They also stayed late to make sure everything was working properly and answered all my questions.  It was clear that they wanted to do the job right and cared about me as their customer.  
I did get some quotes tat were a little cheaper but I felt that this crew knew what they were doing and cared about the project and I am happy that I made the right choice.  It was a terrible place to be without the ability to use any water at our house with 2 kids.  But I am happy that Pacific Coast and TJ and his crew resolved the situation in less that 36 hours and I feel confident that aside from unforeseen circumstances I am in great place with the plumbing in the house.

Organized, professional and extraordinarily expensive.  A couple of weeks ago they wanted to charge $500 for $20 parts and 1hour of labor to replace a P trap and tail pipe?  They also  recommended replacing solid parts because someday they would corrode.
They use a book to determine their standard price regardless of how easy a job is.  Each part replaced gets a full price, even if the assembly is already in pieces and the additional cost should only be for the part.  ie they effectively double charge for labor.  
Get estimates and save yourself 50% or more.  I think this company exploits customers who are in urgent situations and have no or little knowledge, but they wear nice uniforms and have nice trucks and make an orderly presentation so people think they must be giving a fair price.  Not true.  

Get several estimates!!!  We got the job done for $60.  Michael Your Plumber in Berkeley and Women's Plumbing Repair are both MUCH more reasonable.

I had a clogged system in the main drain my auger couldn't reach so I called Tommy's plumbing service and they sent a team out  super quick! Unfortunately I was not home because I thought they were gonna show up later and when I arrived they had cleared it from the outside drain and just said To go in and try it and it worked! Nothing negative to say about these guys, I appreciate the help. Thank you!

I was not aware that when I request a quote from a specific company page that @Yelp would send this out to multiple folks in a given region. However, that is how I ended up finding Gladiator Rooter and plumbing.

They along with a variety of others reached out to me in response to an issue I'd been having with a sewer line that had been backing up on multiple instances. I was beyond frustrated, as Roto-Rooter who had done my first few snake projects had just given me a wild bid to dig up my line and replace a section of pipe that had a root intrusion. One that after taking 3 additional bids was basically predatory in nature at 4x everyone else's price.

Michelle at Gladiator plumbing was super proactive in her communication with me and was able to send out a crew the following day to provide an estimate. Cristobal the lead plumber ran a camera line and quickly found the issue and provided a confident solution in how they would approach a fix.

He was super flexible as to the timing of when the work could get done. I had others that were scheduled to bid the project, so I met with some of them and took additional bids, but ultimately went with Gladiator as they were just the easiest to work with and gave me a confidence in their ability to resolve the issue quickly.

Fast forward to today, they just finished the work and I was stunned by the precision that they dug a 4 foot hole to expose both the known issue as well as why past efforts to snake my external clean out were challenging. Throughout the process, they made sure to point to what they would be doing, what it would achieve and answer any questions I might have along the way. We had just painted our home and so I had taped off the exterior walls where the work would be done, but its notable that the crew also put down plastic and were super mindful of the fresh paint and took extra attention to keep the job site tidy.  And once they completed, it is notable that they left it cleaner than they found it.

I can recommend Gladiator without hesitation and will be calling on them for my future plumbing needs.

I recommend this Company to anyone who needs a sewer line replacement great customer service from the estimate to the final completion they started at 8 am and was finished by Noon.But this was in my Job

Contacted Better Home Plumbing Services along with a couple of others for a quote for a problem with our bathroom shower. Yaro (the owner) took my call and came out within 3 hours to our house to do an initial assessment. He communicated clearly, responded to inquire promptly, and arrived on time as promised. He took the time to investigate and provided a free quote and proposed fix that seems reasonable. The quoted price is about average among the ones I received.

I decided to schedule the repair with Yaro since he was courteous (wore mask and removed shoes/wore shoe covers when coming inside the house), prompt, and communicative during the initial interaction.

Three days later Yaro arrived on time as scheduled. He took efforts to protect the areas surrounding work zone. He seems very experienced and thorough and fixed our shower problem by replacing the valve behind the drywall. He cleaned up the work area and put back the cut out sheetrock neatly so we don't have mess before we can fix the drywall permanently later.

Bigos Plumbing is the company you want to recommend to all your friends and family.  They were polite and did a fast great job installing my new water heater.  These guys are the real deal.  I just took a chance because their reviews were good.  Sometimes people have good reviews but it doesn't always match the service you get.  Bigos plumbing deserves every good review!  You will not be sorry if you call them.  
You know how you feel sometimes that people want to get as much money from you as they can?  Not these guys they are fair and give a good honest price.  I will not call anyone else!  Bigos plumbing is my new Plumber!

I finally retired my over a decade old laundry machines and bought a steam washer and dryer. I needed a water line from the water heater for my dryer. I called Graham and he quickly gave me his available times for this job. It seems easy but still requires good precision and planning on how to cut the line from the water heater, drain the water heater, put a T and route it in an aesthetic way. Also, the gas line needed to be hooked up to the dryer. Graham did all that in a fast and efficient way. His colleague Sam also knows his stuff and together they do a fantastic performance. He has a great arsenal of latest tools which he spent some time talking to me about the sewer cameras and radar, which allows him to dig where he exactly needs to when the job calls for it. They clean up the job site before they leave and the rates are pretty good for the great quality job you are getting. Professional and personable. I would highly recommend them.

In the middle of a party at my house, my toilet broke and wouldn't flush. I called Matt from Seashore Plumbing and he arrived quickly and repaired the toilet before it became a bigger problem. I'll definitely use them again!

Plumbing Experts are great! While working with them to set up appointment, diagnostic and replacing our new water heater, could not have gone more smoothly. First and the most important, they responded almost immediately and came on the very next morning. Really great expertise all around. The same day, we had the old tank out replaced with new one, and again no issues again. We highly recommend this guys, it's quite a luck to find someone realisable those days.

We had a massive leak 2 days after moving into our new (but very old) house in San Carlos. There was water pouring into the garage from the ceiling. Naturally, we were freaking out.

Absolute Pro Plumbing to the rescue! Ameer was incredibly responsive, professional and patient with our many questions. He quickly eased our worries and started getting down to business. He was able to diagnose the issue (a majorly backed up sewer line) and remedied quickly. He also provided great guidance on how to prevent major repairs in the future. On top of that, Ameer is a genuinely nice, funny and hard working guy! You can't beat that.

We've now found our go-to Bay Area plumber!

The difference between all of the glowing reviews for Tony and my experience is that something went wrong with his work.  In trying to convey legitimate concern for potential water damage from his work, which is still a concern, I was repeatedly called rude by Tony and had to listen to Tony tell my husband how rude' I was over the phone.  Apparently calling me names in my home wasn't enough, because he made a special trip to see Jeff in our shop where he continued to berate me, and now he has sent me a nasty compliment.

I still stand by my review.  While the new air gap is working just fine, we still do not know the extent of the water damage and Tony has made it very clear that he does not want to take responsibility.

I highly recommend ALCO.  They showed up when promised, completed the work in less time than initially estimated, and did the work for a great price.  Alex even came back to double check that the work was completed correctly.  I will use them for all of my future plumbing needs!

This is my second time calling Khan for my clogged toilet. He is responsive and hard working. For the second time, he was able to come within 2 hours and unclogged my toilet within 5 minutes and be on his way. I was also worried about having someone else coming into the house in the midst of a pandemic but Khan came wearing a mask! I was relieved!
He is really professional, warm hearted and easy to talk to. It's never fun having a clogged toilet and Khan made it bearable.
He is also clean. He never let anything drips on my bathroom floor or anything like that.
His price is reasonable. Don't hesitant to give him a call. I have his numbers saved on my phone for future problems.
