Hugo Handyman Remodeling Plumbing Service
Over the years, Hugo has completed many projects on our home. No job has been too big or too small:  he rebuilt our deck, re-paved our walkway, added siding to the house, and most recently promptly responded to our call for help and repaired some wood rot. Hugo is proficient and  hardworking. We highly recommend him for your next project.

B G Plumbing Plumbing Service
I have used BG Plumbing 2 times in my home to do plumbing work.

One time to replace the underground galvanized pipe with copper and 2nd time for replacing the entire house piping with copper.

I am happy that I selected them over others because both times they were very professional, knowledgable, punctual, and well within the right price range.

They gave free estimates and also explained how will they do the work. Their estimates were not the cheapest as well as not the most expensive.

They also managed the whole city permit process.
I will highly recommend BG Plumbing to everyone in Bay Area.

Mr Unger's Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling Plumbing Service
We contacted Mr. Unger for a bid on a bathroom remodel.  We needed to update our bathroom before putting our home on the market, but we couldn't afford the other quotes we'd received.   Mr Unger's crew took just over one week to completely demolish our yukky bathroom, and rebuild it with a new bathtub, granite surround, toilet, vanity, fixtures, and flooring.  They were clean, prompt, courteous, and did excellent work.  We are extremely happy with the results.  If you are looking for an affordable bathroom or kitchen remodel, you should give Dan Unger a call.  We are glad that we did!

That's Good Drain & Rooter Plumbing Service
Our parent's condo's kitchen sink clogged on Sunday.  They got back to us within 10 mins from the service request, and have the plumber work on the clog within the next few hours.  They are responsive and providing updates to us constantly since we are not that at condo.  Will definitely recommend this business to friends and family!

Total Plumbing Services & General Engineering Plumbing Service
We had a great experience with Total Plumbing on both the solution to our storm drain issue and on excellent customer service.

We had 3 plumbers out to look at a storm drain which backed up during the heavy rains. Only Carlos from Total had the smartest and most effective approach to solve the problem. Billy was also very helpful in the process of optimization and provided great service.

Their service and responsiveness was top notch, including on the weekend.

I've finally found trustworthy, high quality and conscientous plumbers that we plan to use going forward.

All Pro Repipes Plumbing Service
These guys are really doing a great job, from the copper repipe to patching the walls. Copper installation is great, Patching is seamless, they even removed the old galvanized pipes (not everyone does). Both repipe guys and patching guys are nice. Pricing is the best in the Bay Area (I can tell, I had 15+ estimates from different plumbers before proceeding).
Keep in mind that these guys are busy, really busy, so you have to work with their schedule too.

Elite Rooter Plumbing Service
Contacted Elite Rooter this morning and they sent Matthew.  It was easy to do over the internet to make my initial inquiries and get a quote.  Sadly, their special of $69 did not apply to our situation.  We had a clog in the upstairs master bathroom sink the handyman could not clear using his 15' snake.  Enter Matthew.  The tenant met him at the condo as I could not be there due to distance.  Matthew was on time, professional, courteous and very matter of fact in his explanations and information before proceeding.  He took care not to soil the newly shampooed carpet and laid out some tarp.  Within roughly an hour he finished and reported back everything and had cleared the clog.  Sadly, due to the nature of these old pipes he had to warn us it could recur but that cannot be helped.  Only ripping out a wall and some pipe would permanently remedy that. We'll cross that bridge when/if it happens.  Matt sent the documents and the invoice electronically right away.  All I had to do was call the company to pay with a credit card.  It was a pleasure dealing with him and Elite Rooter today.  Will most certainly use them again.  (Now, I have your cell phone Matthew! :-) ) I hope you win that power tool!  I'm rooting for you! (no pun intended!) And thanks for the prompt fix!  We have brand new tenants who had moved in yesterday!  Elite Rooter and Matthew made us look good!

X-Ray Plumbing And Drain Plumbing Service
In the scheme of things, indoor plumbing isn't something I ordinarily give a lot of thought to... that is, until something goes wrong. Like, say, a suddenly clogged toilet that won't flush, no matter how many times you diligently plunge it. Not a pretty picture. Especially when it happens over a long holiday weekend, and the prospect of waiting until the next business day for a repair is too grim to contemplate.

Enter Majid of Xray Plumbing, who immediately responded to our SOS early on a Sunday morning, and promptly arrived to assess the problem just a few hours later. He quickly diagnosed the situation, which required temporarily unbolting the commode from the bathroom floor to remove the offending culprit (an errant anti-bacterial wipe that had mistakenly been flushed). Majid re-bolted and re-sealed the toilet in under an hour. Voila! Problem solved... and for a reasonable fee  that conformed to his stated estimate as well!

I highly recommend this small business if you ever find yourself in a lurch (or up Schitt's Creek?) as we did. Majid is knowledgeable, professional, and polite. Shelling out $ for an unexpected repair is never fun...but it's far more. gratifying to put it into the pocket of a competent, non-corporate tradesman who works hard and knows what he's doing. All praise.

One Source Plumbing and Rooter Plumbing Service
It gives me no pleasure to write this review, but the fact is that a company that has bad customer service will not improve unless they understand that they will lose business if they don't make a change. That's why Yelp is where people turn for business recommendations, so they can find a place that is not only fix their problems but also leave them feeling good about it. I found the One Source Plumbing and Rooter lead plumber to be completely lacking in customer service skills. His technicians were both fine, respectful and careful. Their work was fine too. They had to return to re-repair a leak that they repaired last month, and it was during that visit that I finally lost my patience with the way I was treated.

The property manager of my apartment hired One Source to fix a leak in my bathroom, the drain of the clawfoot tub, as well as the faucet stopper that feeds the shower attachment. I was surprised that when he fixed the drain, he added a drain that makes it difficult to place a stopper to draw a bath; it's a claw foot bathtub. It should be obvious that it's going to be used as a bathtub. But, I figured I could pick up a better one and replace it myself, rather than make them come back for something so simple.

So. I got a chance to take a bath, very relaxing and one of my favorite ways to treat myself. But after I drained the bath I returned to the bathroom to find the floor flooded. What the heck! So I did some testing and found that although the repaired drain worked just fine when it's used for a shower, when a whole tub's worth of water is draining, the leak between the replacement pipe and the not-replaced floor pipe was so bad that most of the water ended up on the floor. I got back in touch with One Source and my property manager so they could come back and address this.

On the appointed day, the service window was 9-11am. They showed up at 8:42am. I had let them know to call me so we could come down and let them in, because the doorbell was not working. But, I had to take a shower ahead of that, and I figured that jumping in the shower around 8:30 would give me plenty of time. Nope! They were early, so when I got out at 8:50am I had 5 missed calls and had a text from 8:45am that read, We will wait outside for five minutes and then will have to reschedule two weeks from now.   I'll be honest, I almost wrote back to say something like cool, piss off then but I'm an adult, so I texted getting out of the shower and between me and my son (he's 18), we let them in at 8:56am. Like, I get that it's never fun to wait outside like someone is playing a joke on you, but is it really that hard to say Please let us in without threatening to leave this issue unfixed for 2 more weeks? You already gave me a 2hr service window, what's your hurry?? Since the first visit had already been marked by a bad attitude on the part of the lead plumber, this visit was definitely not off to a good start.

They came up, and I thanked them for their patience and mentioned that I didn't expect them to be early. He said it was fine and got to work testing the drain. They all kept their masks on, which is to be expected since they have to protect themselves from whatever germs might be hanging around inside my house as well as protect us from whatever germs they might be fighting off. I had put my mask on even though I was inside my own house, as a courtesy, even though I'm fully vaxd. But I also wanted to have my coffee and get a start to my workday. So I set myself up in our tiny outside space, just outside my kitchen. I guess I could have let them know I was going to be right outside my kitchen door, which I had left open, but I figured they would come looking for me before they left. Again, nope! After about 15-20 minutes I wondered if they were still at work and I went to check. They were gone. I was unnerved. I couldn't imagine why a worker would leave a house without taking leave of the head of household. This is such an ingrained expectation that I can't even put into words why it's expected. But I ask you, dear reader, would you feel good about it if you came to where multiple people had been working on some part of your house only to find it deserted? It's a thief that sneaks out of a house, not an upstanding member of a community. (Big house parties don't count, obviously, you can't always find your host when you have to leave.) So I called him. It was awkward; I asked what the end result was and he explained. Then I said, I was surprised that he had left without finding me. He said he had touched base with my son before leaving. Well, what he meant was he said goodbye to my kid on his way out -- I didn't find that out until later -- so when I started to explain how that wasn't adequate, he cut me off with a very defensive response. I ended the phone call shortly after that.

I would not recommend this establishment. I hope this guy learns to check his attitude.

Water Heaters Masters Plumbing Service
Well, a year and a half later and the hot water heater finally died. I called Alex and he had a serviceman, Bobby, come out within 90 minutes. Fortunately, Bobby had a unit on his truck to install right away. He explained that my leaking heater was nearly 12 years old and not worth fixing. Installation was completed and he left the area spotless. I trust this company implicitly. Knowledgeable and friendly people every step of the way. Oh, and they installed a heater made in the USA!  Bonus! I highly recommend this company; I would use no one else!!

Friendly Plumber Plumbing Service
I ll  Use Friendly Plumber again: I'm completely clueless when it comes to plumbing, I'm always very cautious so I'm not taken advantage of... I was drawn to this company because of the funny name (Friendly Plumber), and have to say, they really are friendly! The guy I talked to came to my house in half an hour of my call to fix my toilet that was constantly running. And they had done great job. thank you Friendly Plumber

Buri Buri Plumbing Plumbing Service
I called Buri Buri after hearing good things on Nextdoor about them.  I had a kitchen faucet installed by a handyman in the previous weeks and it was leaking.  Rich came out, fixed the leak, adjusted the disposal and unclogged the dishwasher overflow.  Rich was super nice, scheduling was easy and the price was reasonable!  Rich should be everyone's go to guy for plumbing!

Dimond Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
Our experience with Mike at Dimond Plumbing was excellent.  He was straight forward in his appraisal on fixing the reduced flow of hot water to our kitchen sink.  His first recommendation was at a lower cost and was based on his experience on how this problem could be approached.

My experience has typically had contractors/repair personnel take the more aggressive/expensive approach.  In this case Mike was fair in his recommendation and provided a fix that works.

I would highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Garry is a  gent and a pleasure to deal with.
My water heater had
Broken down and stopped working so i was left without hot running water!I called around a few places but Garry gave me the best estimate which seemed very fair compared to other prices.
It turned out my water heater needed to be replaced
after he looked at it he went off and got a new one and plumbed it in for me with ease.
I was a happy man with a new water heater and hot running water within 24hrs.
Thanks for explaining the problem to me in dept too.
Hydroflow is the way to go.

Magic Plumbing Plumbing Service
While I did not hire them, as they don't do appliance work, the tech was the most thorough in his consultation (they don't charge) and found the problem was likely my washer leaking, though a problem with a pipe in the wall is still possible.  Their estimate for the potential leak in the wall was also very reasonable.  I will hire them if the problem is, in fact, a pipe problem.  I highly recommend them.
