Had a wonderful experience with Baldomero at BG Plumbing!
We noticed a leak on the outside of our house, and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Baldomero came out the same day, diagnosed the issue (the piping from the sprinkler system had a leak) and provided me some options (while also replacing a worn out water valve in our backyard).
Baldomero and his teammate came back out within four days and worked tirelessly to create some new piping under our home for a more secure water line to our sprinkler system, and everything looks (and works) perfectly.

We hired Baldomero to replace the shower rough-in valves and shower trim kits in both of our bathrooms. We wanted to keep the shower tiles to save some money on the remodel, but our showers back up to each other, so there is no way for plumbers to access the valves from a wall behind the shower. Fortunately, Baldomero and his team were very careful and replaced the valves through the small opening in the tiles without causing any damage to the tiles!

We bought a fixer-upper in 2020 and hired Baldomero to do a complete house re-pipe as well as install a new water heater. It's been three years and we haven't had any issues. We recently did a bathroom remodel and hired Baldomero again to help with moving some of the bathroom plumbing. He is professional, on-time, and does good work. We would hire him again (and we did).

I appreciate the service and mainly the communication from this establishment. Not only did they communicate clearly, they were fast and efficient. I also appreciate it that they had options for what I was looking to get done. I was trying to get my toilet removed and replaced and they made it very easy for me to understand my options. Their office even went as far as to let me know what the best brand of toilet was. I really appreciate them going the distance. their fee included installation as well as disposal of the old unit. While they are a lot more pricey than I would have liked, it is understandable with us service that they do. There was no wait, and no delay. If you are looking to get the plumbing work done, consider this company for all of your needs. Support small businesses.
So PGE came over to our place and claim to find slow gas leaking in the house line, not the public line. Therefore they stop one of the pipe that goes from the meter to underground to the water heater.
In my case I originally have two gas pipes. One has been stopped now but the other works fine and just go over the water heater into the house.
We quote several plumbers. They all says that a new pipe need to be placed from the meter to the water heater. Either they claims that the gas pressure won't be good to support all appliances within one pipe, or they says that the metal pipe cannot be branched.
However, B G plumbing is confident to go with the branch plan from beginning and explain my concern during the quote. Since it does not break the house wall, it is also most reasonable price for the job.
They provided immediate fix on the next day after quote. Then I understand why they can do this branch job since they invest a lot on their equipment. They have great tool to cut steel pipe, they have nice too to branch out.
The whole process is very professional. Let alone they also come with 1year warranty for the gas job to insure no leaking.

This is the second time that BG plumbing helped me with my kitchen sink clog issue. It happened around 8 pm so I message them on the yelp, received reply in 10 mins said they will come and check the second day morning. What a relief! And they show up on time (8am to 10am I think that is the earliest available appointment for such short notice).
Solved the problem in 40 mins with 30 days warranty. Already pass their info with my friends and colleagues!
Oscar provided a high level of customer service and was able to help me with the issues that I had the toilet and faucets. The faucet handles are encountering issues due to the hard water quality of the South Bay, so Oscar provided some recommendations as to how to proceed in the future.

We got flaked on by a ton of other plumbers in the area, but not Baldomero. He came as promised within the given estimated time and even came earlier since our schedule was a bit tight.
Our bathtub drain had been broken but he came and fixed it up very quickly. Very professional service and a super nice guy. He even wore a plastic covering over his boots to ensure that no outside dirt and specimens would be brought into the house. Extremely thoughtful and thorough work. I'd highly recommend Baldomero for any plumbing concerns and needs!

I have used BG Plumbing 2 times in my home to do plumbing work.
One time to replace the underground galvanized pipe with copper and 2nd time for replacing the entire house piping with copper.
I am happy that I selected them over others because both times they were very professional, knowledgable, punctual, and well within the right price range.
They gave free estimates and also explained how will they do the work. Their estimates were not the cheapest as well as not the most expensive.
They also managed the whole city permit process.

B G Plumbing did a great job. I had discovered I had no hot water in the morning, called B G Plumbing at noon, Baldomero arrvied at 1:15 pm the same day, and I had hot water by 2:15 pm. The repair involved replacing the thermocouple (exactly has described in the troubleshooting section of the user manual), which came to about 15% the cost of replacing the entire water heater.
I had contacted 7 water heater repair companies. Most of them did not seem interested in repairing but instead wanted to replace the entire water heater, even asking in advance for the dimensions and pictures of the doorway. I was a bit uncomfotable with the approaches of several companies: sell a reset, diagnostic, or repair task, and then they would credit back some or all of that fee if I buy a new water heater from them. Many said I had to act fast, one texting me that if I don't book an appointment for tomorrow, I will have to wait four days to get the part from the manufacturer. In all fairness, there does come a time when it may be more prudent to replace the entire water heater versus repair, but my water heater is 6 1/2 years old, just barely beyond the 6 year warranty period.
B G Plumbing was very efficient and thorough. Baldomero started by hooking up a diagnostic tool and identifing the faulty part. He replace the part and showed me the condition of other internal parts. After starting it back up, he checked for gas leaks. Shortly after, I turned on the faucet and the water was warming up. I am very pleased, and asked him for quotes on other plumbing jobs.
Had a Friday night plumbing problem. Contacted Baldomero after a neighbor referred me to him. He was very responsive and came over within a couple hours. He is very friendly, professional, fast and reasonable priced. Great service for an urgent non-emergency on a Saturday morning. Couldn't be happier with his work and service. Nice guy, great work. He's my go-to guy for my plumbing needs moving forward!

They provide a high quality and professional service. The water from my kitchen faucet was very small so I asked help. They sent someone to diagnose the problem the next day, and after taking the faucet off and cleaning it, it got bigger in a hurry. And the guy suggested that I'd better get a new faucet because the old one was worn for too long. After I bought the new faucet myself, I sent them a message and they came and replaced it on the same day.
The service is very good, I will come back to them if needed. In fact, this is the second time they help me with my faucet.
We had a leak in our yard and Baldomero came over to help take a look. He was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. He pointed out a running faucet in the yard and was upfront about there being another leak for which he recommended another company. I hired BG plumbing to replace a broken pipe under my kitchen faucet. They responded immediately and came out within a few hours and replaced the pipe which had rusted through. Later I hired them to replace the faucet itself. Bryan and Baldo are extremely efficient, neat and friendly.
I've since hired them for a backed up toilet and a tub faucet. Great work.

Our toilet was leaking (not severely but enough to cause a bad odor in the bathroom). Reached out to a few plumbers through Yelp and BG was the first one to respond with contact details. Quick phone call led to an estimate with couple of options. This was on Jan 1st and BG was willing to send someone out whereas the other plumbers either didn't respond or weren't willing to come out.
On site, BG was very professional and quick and clean with their service.
Baldomero was kind enough to do checks on couple other potential plumbing issues and give us his recommendations.

BG is super responsive and customer service is great. Our On demand heater died and they went out of their way to get us up and running temporarily, and installed a new one the next morning. A big thank you to Baldomero for his service.
I got my drain pipe expanded to 2 inch pipe as my new laundry water faucet was too big for 1 1/2 inch drain pipe. B G Plumbing came to my place the next day for a quote and was able to schedule installation the following day. I'm very satisfied with their work. I highly recommend their service and I will definitely use them again! They have high craftsmanship!
Our sewer line clogged the evening of Thanksgiving and they responded to me the same night. They were out the next morning and fixed our main line clog within one hour. After they cleaned out the main line, we stress tested everything to check it works and it did!
They're licensed, experienced, and accommodating. We will be calling them for all our plumbing needs because this experience was exceptional.

My washing machine water shutoff valve had to be replaced immediately in order for my new washing machine to be installed. I appreciated the fast response from Baldomero and was able to come to my house the next day (on time and with mask on and booties for his shoes since we don't wear shoes in the house) and explained solutions. In the same day in the afternoon, he came back and he was able to replace the water shutoff valve and also replaced the washer dish pan for free.
My only complaint is that it wasn't cheap but I think it's the same with other plumbers and he offered 10% off Yelp discount. I showed a few other issues in the house but the quotes were just really high (descaling water heater, replacing faucets not turning anymore due to build-up) and was surprised with the estimates. Again, I guess that is normal in plumbing so I can't really fault him with it.
BG Plumbing did a great job replacing my mom's water heater. Kevin arrived right at the start of the estimated window, gave an estimate and was able to replace it that day. Very professional and friendly, and kind to my eldeely mom, who gets anxious about having people in her house

We had a water heater leak in the middle of the night. B G plumbing was very responsive to our urgent request and fixed the problem quickly.
Great service and reasonable price. The technician is very responsive, he did a water pressure check even before we had the contract. I only asked for the valve replacement, but he also removed the unused old pipe as well as a quick check for sink disposal for free. Highly recommended.
He is charging for snaking a kitchen sink $450!! I cannot comprehend this nonsense, can you?!!! One hour job and the charge $450. This is more than what an experienced lawyer makes an hour!

Fast, easy and well priced!
Had an issue with a faucet and sent a note Sunday night. Got a response within 10 mins with an appt time early the next morning to look at the issue and provide a quote. Baldo was able to fix the issue on the spot in less than 30 mins.
I would certainly call these guys again for work in the future, and already mentioned possible additional work that I have been putting off given how pleasant it was interacting with them.
My water heater (close to 25yrs old) started leaking from the bottom so it needed to be replaced immediately. B G Plumbing was able to come out to inspect it within 3 hours and did a thorough job of determining what needed to be done. Their quote came in on the high side of the same ballpark as everyone else (talking about 5-10% higher than the lowest), however their quote included all the work needed to get everything up to code. The other quotes made their estimates without getting the full picture (i.e., only BG realized that the drain pipe didn't actually go outside and that they would need to install a new one). That plus the other quotes played loose with up to code and their bad reviews percentage made me go with BG.
I'm glad I did. One guy came out the next day at the specified time, noon, and started the prep work. The owner came out a little while later, and then they started removing and cleaning out the space. They installed new shutoff values, new lines, new grounding, new straps, new drainpan, and of course a new water heater (same spec as original, just the latest model). They were able to put a new drainpipe so any future leaks should just drain outside (instead of flooding the carpet). Best of all, I had hot water later that night.
The original water heater had an unusable shutoff so it required shutting off water to the entire house to stop the leak. Having no water at all is one step up from having no hot water, so I was very happy that BG was able to fix it in under 30hrs from when I first noticed the problem. Highly recommend.

Very prompt response and professional service. My bathroom drain was draining very slowly and Oscar took care of it promptly. Very reasonable quote (I called 3-4 places and BG was the lowest).
I contacted BG Plumbing last year after reading the reviews on Yelp. I needed someone to do maintenance on my tankless water heater in the attic. The response was quick and price reasonable. They did a pretty good job and explained everything that was done. A year later, I was contacted by BG Plumbing reminding me that a year has passed and if I wanted to schedule another maintenance appointment. I did and they came and performed the work at the same price as last year. They are on time, explain everything they will do and are quite thorough with their work. I even referred them to a family member and the appointment was promptly scheduled. I plan on using them again for my plumbing needs in the future.
Based on the recommendation of other neighbors (thanks, neighborhood listservs and nextdoor!), we called BG Plumbing Service when we had a leak in our kitchen earlier this week. Tragedy strikes; you have a clog and it's bad...like sh*t in the shower bad! You're immediately on Yelp to find a plumber but there is that lingering sensation in the back of your mind; you know the one How do I avoid getting ripped off, do I even know what the hell is going on?
The above scenario just played out at my home. I used Yelp to secure a number of quotes (super easy and effective). Here's how it played out: 4 responses with two visits to my home for quotes and two not so interested.
BG Handy Services reached out to me in less than 30 minutes asking for details and when it would be convenient for me to have them out. Baldomero and his son Brian came to my home and spent the better part of an hour testing and troubleshooting the issue. The entire time they kept me in the loop as to what they found. They explained the situation and how they would deal with it. They left me with a dollar amount quote and asked me to contact them when I was ready to move forward.
The second company spent no time troubleshooting, explaining or basically caring about how this situation was effecting my family and produced a considerably higher quote.
Obviously we called back BG Handy Service to fix our clog. They were quick to set up a convenient time, arrived right on schedule, resolved our issue and came in right on the quoted amount. Baldomero and Brian are good people who immediately instill a sense of honesty. I can't recommend them enough.

Bryan was honest, accommodating and knew what he was doing. He was able to come to our house at like 10pm on a Saturday night and he didn't gouge us on the price like most places do. He was very fairly priced, which we are so grateful for, especially during these times.

We have some issue with a flush leaking water for a wall mount toilet. It was a tricky job to remove the cover and replace the stopper inside the wall but Baldomero was able to fix the issue. Very responsive and clear communication.
Baldomero was the first to reply my request when I asked for help. The result of the service is great.
Had a sewer drainage issue, BG Plumbing gave me a really thorough explanation. Crawled the underneath of our house, took pictures, we discussed different options based on my budget. What another plumber quoted as 5k, he found a cheaper solution and fixed for $1k.
Called these guys last night and then came by less than 12 hours later to fix my leak. Fair estimate made on the spot and took care of the job in time. Good covid safety procedures too. Great guys to work with. Professional and friendly. Got main sewer clogged and whole house is a mess at night. Quoted for price for open business but they replied immediately even though they are showing closed. Got a quick quote and they showed up on time. This is the first time I see what is down there. For several hours, works(digging/installing hydrojet etc) are done nicely. Hope not seeing them again, but if have to, I will give them a call.
Appreciated they came on Christmas Day (and it was raining hard) to diagnose the leak problem.

After experiencing a Shining like tidalwave of sewer water in our hallway at 7:30pm, I was left searching for a fast response to alleviate our sh*tty situation. BG Plumbing responded quickly, remedied and cleaned the exterior problem and explained what my next steps were to address the long term problems with the City sewer line. Turns out the leak was caused by a simple issue with a loose air gap that we caused trying to fix something else. Oscar fixed it in a couple of minutes and wouldn't take any money. Imagine this: you walk into your bathroom at 8pm on a Thursday and there is an awful smell coming from the shower, you take a look, and, you guessed it, there is poo-water filling the base of the shower. Then, if that wasn't bad enough, you go to your garage and the washing machine drain has overflowed ... who do you call? You call BG Handy Services because they will help you out of the sh***y situation even late at night!
These guys are great: came to my house at 9:30 at night, gave me a great price, diagnosed the issue and got the pipes cleared pretty quickly (probably within about 30 minutes?). They are also respectful of people's homes by wearing foot coverings inside and also wore masks since we are still in COVID times.
I'm absolutely calling these guys again for any plumbing issue I have.

Was referred to Baldomero by a friend who's a contractor. We had had major sewage backup into our master bathroom and one company took a look underneath in the crawl space and said there was a pipe with insufficient slope causing buildup and blockage. That company snaked the pipe and unclogged it so things were working again but gave us a very expensive quote for the recommended work of replacing large sections of piping with the correct slope. Baldomero came and concurred with the scope of proposed work but his price was much fairer. They were able to get the whole job done in one day, with no interruption to our routine, and even took a look at a separate minor plumbing issue when they finished without asking for any additional reimbursement.
Overall was very impressed with their professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy. Would hire again for any plumbing needs.

Water heater sprang a leak 2 days before Thanksgiving house guests were arriving! BG Plumbing actually answered the phone and Oscar and Bryan were out here within 40 min. Had a sink back up on me and I tried everything on my own. My own snake which most likely wasn't long enough to reach the clogged pipe. They came exactly at the time they said they would right in the morning and fixed the problem and made sure everything was ok before they left! Baldonero responded quickly to my inquiry, as I needed someone to repair an old corroded valve in the bathtub shower wall. He showed up on time with another plumber. They have a professional looking truck and uniforms. My contractor who worked on the house found this valve a challenge to repair without either cutting into the side of the house or tearing out the existing tile. Baldonero said he could replace the valve without breaking anything. They were clean (wore shoe covers), professional and explained things well. After considering the free estimate, I decided to proceed rather than shop around, and the work was done quickly, neatly, and methodically. The water main valve was also not working, and so the 2nd plumber fixed that while Baldonero worked on the bathtub. I didn't shop for pricing, so I cannot comment about cost - everything seems expensive to me these days, but I was told they have not raised prices for several years so that's good. Anyway, it's been 1 day, and everything is working as to be expected and that is what is most important. I will consider B G Plumbing again.

The faucet of our Roman tub on the second floor started leaking and because of a bad repair effort done by another plumber, it then started leaking through the ceiling into the downstairs kitchen. We have used Baldo for years before he went out on his own and he is amazing and literally the best plumber!!! He has done everything for us from install ridiculously $$$$ Toto Neorests in our house to water heaters to dealing with emergency clogs to fixing showers our contractor installed improperly to clogs in dishwashers and dish disposals. Not only is he always on time and really nice, but the biggest thing is that he is incredibly knowledgeable. I just had him here again yesterday because we have a weird sewage smell in one of our bathrooms and I called his old place of work and they sent someone but I needed a second opinion from Baldo because he is the one we really trust.
They were friendly and professional, slightly higher charge than a few other quotes.

Called BG Plumbing because our water pressure appeared to be decreasing; not an emergency however, they made the time that very afternoon to inspect. Determined low water flow was due to debris from city feed. They cleaned faucets and shower screen traps to improve flow. Then to help prevent future occurrences, they returned the following day to install a filter on the main intake line. BG Plumbing delivers quality work.

He and Walter did excellent work installing a new water heater on short notice and also a new gas line for a dryer. We have several projects yet to be done and so it is great to have a go-to plumbing company that is honest and provides great value.
We needed to replace our kitchen faucet, but like everything else in this old house, what should be simple never is. We purchased the identical faucet and then called Baldomero and he was able to come out the same day and replace our faucet. He worked quickly, checked for leaks, and everything worked. He even checked out another leak for us and told us what parts we would need to special order. I had a drain problem with my bathtub, and I called B G Plumbing to make an appointment for the following day. Baldomero showed up on time and he took a step by step approach to nail down the problem. He went down the crawl space to find out the layout of the sewer pipes and snaked the main line to solve the problem. From the arrival to the completion, he was straight forward and was willing to explain what he was doing and gave me a reasonable quote which I accepted. He also was very observant to find a leak on my toilet which I will need to have it fixed by the original installer. After the job is finished, I asked him to look at my kitchen faucet which was leaking, and he fixed it free of charge by tweeking the cartridge ! These days many plumbers do not repair faucet (they rather install a new faucet instead). So he served all my needs very well. Lastly he gave me a free inspection of all the sewer pipes in the crawl space and gave me a recommendation. He was very competent, professional, and courteous. I will not hesitate to use the company for my future plumbing needs, and I highly recommend the company.
Tenant called on a Sundaysaying sewage water is coming out of both showers and toilet. Called around and only got to talk to a few. Most are unavailable on such short notice. One was available but quoted an extraordinary price without even guaranteeing they will do the job with this price. I was lucky to have tried BG . He is new so there are many reviews yet. I walked out to my garage to find the floor covered in water and noticed
that it was coming from the pipe that stands beside the water heater. Luckily a neighbor was able to shut off the water until I could get a plumber out.
A friend of mine recommended BG Handy Services. I called him and he and his son were able to come out on the same day within a short time. He diagnosed the problem and replaced a part and had to use additional copper pipe to solder it with the existing pipe. He was very competent, professional and I thought reasonable as he charged me $200 for the visit. It could have been a lot worse so I was very grateful.
I highly recommend Mr. Baldomero and his son for any plumbing needs you may have.
We were looking for contractors to help replace our water line to the house. BG was very quick to respond and was able to provide a very reasonable estimate. We had B G Plumbing install a new water heater and they were wonderful to work with. Discovering that our old heater had begun to leak in the evening I first contacted them by email hoping for a response early the next day - they got back to me that very evening and were able to come for an estimate by 8am the next morning. There quote was better that another we received and they were able to do the work that day. They were careful with covid safetly, cleaned up well after their work, and even called a day after the installation to confirm we were happy with the results. Will definitely hire them again.

Bryan and Baldomero replaced my old tankless water heater last month, and I've been very happy with their work. They gave the same diagnosis of the old water heater as two other companies, but they were the most responsive and most personalized with their suggestions on how to replace the unit, with competitive pricing. They ended up installing a new tankless in a new location to allow for a condensation line and recirculation pump (their idea), running the necessary new piping, and following up a week or two later to check on things. I appreciated their willingness to squeeze into our incredibly tight crawl space on the one hand, and to spend time drawing schematics on a whiteboard with me on the other hand! Super clean, easy to get ahold of. A lovely family business.

Baldomero came out the SAME DAY, fixed the fridge issue and helped with a couple of other plumbing fixes that we needed. The work quality was excellent and his pricing was reasonable. What a great service from B.G. Plumbing! They were very quick in scheduling the consultation appointment and to respond our questions and concerns. In fact, we had the toilet and flush issue in the late evening and in 10 minutes I got their response. We scheduled the inspection appointment for the very next morning. They came right on time and competently described all the details of the problem and what needs to be done in an honest manner (BTW, I did my research the night before, so I kind of knew what the problem was). They also suggested some peripheral fixes that might cause issues in near future. The provided estimate was reasonable and they fixed all the problems the same day in few hours. They also showed me the condition of the replaced components that they suggested during the inspection. I'm glad I agreed to get those things done as the old parts were literally at the verge of falling apart. Special thanks to Bryan, who took care of everything so perfectly. I won't hesitate to call them in future for any of our plumbing issues.

Our toilet started backing up one evening. Because we're still in the middle of the pandemic, we needed this fixed asap - we didn't want to start bugging the neighbors when we had to go to the bathroom. I called BG the next morning, and they came out in a couple hours. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't just a simple rooter, but they diagnosed and fixed the problem same day - they ended up digging up some pipes and installing a two way clean out so if it flooded again, it wouldn't flood in the house. They showed me the what our pipes looked like, showed me some things to look out for, and even found a plastic cap blocking our pipes and managed to fish it out. All in all, they were fast and fair.

I used BG Plumbing for my latest 2 projects. One was for the removal and replacement of 2 build in the wall shower faucet cartridges and one to fix an external outdoor pipe like. BG plumbers are excellent people, way too professional, I wanted to install a sink for my preschool, with hot and cold water, he did a incredible job at a very reasonable price, before he got in for the job, I asked him to add another pipe connection in my side-yard, he did it and the price was very cheap. I hired Baldomero and his son Bryan to install two tank less water heaters for my apartments in San Francisco. They also up sized my gas lines from 3/4 to 1, in order tor accommodate the heaters.
Their work was super clean and the install turned out beautiful.
Their prices were extremely fair, and they are both very polite, professional, and pleasant to work with.
The work passed the plumbing inspections with no questions asked.

Replaced our water heater that started leaking on a Saturday night. Responded quickly. Showed up on Sunday. The work took about three hours, as they added some changes to bring the water heater system up to the latest codes. They hauled away the old water heater. Overall, I'm happy with the work performed.
Loved that Baldomero and Brian showed up wearing a mask; safety being #1 concern right now. They were prompt with scheduling and efficient to fix two problems, one with the washer leaking water (underneath and in the wall) and a kitchen sink faucet replacement which was spouting water all over and leaking pipes underneath which was all replaced with new. Very conscientious and friendly, explaining everything up front with a quotation. Highly recommend and they were referred to me. Great job and will continue to utilize their services for any further issues in my home.

I found a corroded drain pipe in the crawl space during an inspection. It was Jan 1st and I did not have many hopes to find a plumber to fix it because of the holidays. Baldomero was very quick to reply and everything was fixed the morning after at 10 am. During another inspection the day after I verified that the job was done ok (well, for what I can tell as I'm not exactly a plumber).
We hired Baldo and Brian to help us install a water filtration system last year. it is working great! Very happy with the installation. As other reviewers mentioned, they communicated well and are always courteous. Highly recommend!
