I had a new outlet and a security camera installed, as well as other items. They did an excellent job. Everything was clean and replaced when they finished their work, and everything works perfectly.

While they were in the attic, they noticed one of our heater ducts was damaged. They showed me a photo of it and recommended I have it repaired. That is above and beyond.

This should be everyone's go to electric company! They are most helpful, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Besides doing work for me, they have twice assisted me over the phone resolving issues. Staff is great and electricians are excellently trained.

This is the second time I've used Armes Electric and I will not hesitate to call them again if the need arises. Had a appliance breaker go out, reached out about 9 AM they put me on their emergency call schedule they reach back out at 12 PM and said they could get me and appointment, the guys showed up at 1 PM, fixed all and also did an odd job that I had wanted to get done, they had the time and took care of that as well. Dalton and Joe, our Armes Electric installers were outstanding!!! They came to our home to put together a new fixture that we had purchased and to install it in our kitchen eating area over a dining table. They were very professional and attentive to keeping our home clean as they worked. Joe and Dalton took quite a bit of time to move the ceiling mount to a place that would be attractive over our table. They also installed a dimmer and a computer controlled switch. A friend recommended Pete. We had them install recessed lighting in the living area with a ceiling fan and it came out amazing. Armando and another gentlemen did the work. They had a lot of good ideas and suggestions on positioning. No strobing from the fan. What I loved was how well they did the plastic sheeting in the room to prevent the dust from going everywhere and cleaned up. They did light switches too. Also, no holes in my wall or ceiling to repair-- they did everything Everything came out great and it was a good price. Another electrician had quoted me double. Definitely recommend. Will use them again.

The owner (Pete) was extremely nice and gave excellent advice when he came out to bid the job, and the electrician who let the crew that performed the actual work (Marcus) was also a consummate professional. This isn't even about a recent job I had them do, but more of a consultation. I've used them in the past for projects and always had a great experience. I called them to check on some work someone (3rd party) had done on my home, and wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. They came out same day, followed up on my questions, and followed up day after. Follow through and customer service I have found lacking since I moved out to CA 4 years ago on any project that I plan on doing, but not with these guys. I won't use anyone else when I have electrical needs. As I was hanging up with them I told my wife, these guys are the best

Scope of work: Partial re-wiring of the house, complete breaker panel upgrade (125A), and new sub-panel for detached garage (70A).

I've never seen an army of electricians, but I was amazed that 8 professionals showed up to the house to take care of everything listed above in two days! Each of them was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Pete is very peculiar about who he hires, and it shows. Flawless, safe and to-code work. New wires were clean, well installed and older circuits in the house were studied prior and respected.

Communication is second to none, and they won't hesitate to come talk to you and show you what is happening and if any hurdles are encountered, provided with solutions. They all respected the property and left it clean.

To give you a little glimpse of how good they are, the new breaker panel, much bigger than the old one needed to be reframed in the exterior wall, and so some wall studs had to be cut and relocated. On the other side of that wall is the master bedroom that just had been freshly re-plastered. They removed the exterior stucco with a pneumatic hammer and cut the old studs without disturbing a single wood lath, and without cracking, breaking or damaging the new interior wall. Truly surgical work.

So if you have an old, original or historical property and need minimal damage during electrical upgrades, hire them, they are wonderful.

Since installing ceiling fans in 1999, Armes has been my go to Electrical Contractor. Today I had a whole house fan installed in the attic by Armando and his assistant and once again fantastic job. Great and polite attitude, efficient and explained process, operation best practices. They have previously installed outside security lights, indoor lights, added outlets, wired shed and five ceiling fans. They always take extra care for set up and clean up and each installer is so polite and also have great sense of humor. Highly recommend.

This is my second time using Armes Electric and once again it was awesome! this time I worked with Collin and Joe. They installed two ceiling fans for me, a ring device and then backyard patio lights the kind you see at restaurants, etc. David from Armes recommended the ones from Costco and they are perfect, thanks David! My house has some interesting wiring and I became concerned about one room's outlets. I wanted to make sure they were grounded so i searched Yelp for a well reviewed electrician. I hired Armes Electric immediately after my first call because the person who answered the phone was so thorough and patiently explained how normal my house sounded and that the fix would be easy. He also told me that while the guys were out here I should have them do a free informal quote of any future work I wanted done. The guys who came to the house called because they were running early the day they were scheduled to do work. I said come on by and within a few minutes they told me that my situation was pretty straight forward. They were done in less than an hour grounding two outlets and fixing a third outlet that had a loose circuit and burns inside the box.

After they were done, they left the room clean and even checked out my garage where I want to add some outlets in the future. They gave me suggestions on things I could do but never did I feel like they were pressuring for more work. Amazing experience and they'll be in my contact list from now on for any and all future projects.

First time customer

As an avid Yelper, I try not to get overly excited when I see 5 star reviews, especially when it comes to home/contractors/vendors. I often have the attitude, well, let's see about that... often times filled with skepticism but yet hopeful.

Armes Electric was referred to me by a fellow neighbor who I trust. I am so thankful for the recommendation.

We live in an older home, about 60 years old and the wiring/electrical here in this house is a kind of a hodge-podge of wires that have no rhyme or reason as to why rooms were connected and wired as they were.

Pros:
-Armando and Daniel were super helpful. Armando was such an active listener and worked miraculously to troubleshoot a loose connection in the house that caused us to loose power to our vent hood.
-They went above and beyond, literally the electrical super sleuths trying to find out what and why we were out of power in one area of the kitchen.
-You definitely get what you pay for: $200 per hour + materials but they came back just as a courtesy visit because I had a question and they came out the next day and made certain that I was beyond satisfied and helped to explain problem/solution.
-Super friendly and professional. Armando and Daniel are kind, courteous, and polite. They clean up after themselves and take precautions to keep the area clean.

I am so happy to have found an electrician that I can put into my contacts whenever I need to tackle that HONEY DO List!

I can't say enough good things about our experience today with Armes Electric.

The person in the office answered my call and despite the fact that it is Christmas Eve, was able to find a technician who had just finished another job and was able to send him right out to fix our circuit breaker that led to our stove and microwave being non-functioning.

The technician arrived quickly was super friendly and helpful and was able to diagnose the problem very quickly. He was actually able to solve the problem in a way that did not require replacement of parts which was very helpful and thoughtful.

We have a couple of other nonessential electrical items on our to do list then we will most certainly be calling this company back out to work with us on those after the new year.

We purchased a fan from our favorite fan store The Trading Post, Casablanca fans. They recommend Armes Electric to install their fans. We have had great luck with them in the past and quickly set up an appointment to have this new fan installed. Armes installer's Collin and Connor came out to replace an old fan and replace with the new fan. Both gentlemen were courteous, professional and very neat. They worked very fast and neatly tied up the old fan and disposed of it in our trash can. They showed me how to to use the remote and placed the holder exactly where we asked them to. We have another fan downstairs that was making a noise on the high speed so they took a look at that while they were here. It was a good thing as they needed to shore up some things to make it more stable. These guys went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed and working well before they left. We'd give them a 10 star rating if it was available!

I used Armes Electric to install an outdoor plug for my internet box. AT&T runs fiber to the side of the house and the box they install requires power. Unfortunately, there was no 110v outlet in the communications side panel.

From start to finish my experience with Armes Electric was absolutely fantastic. Every person I spoke to from making the appointment, confirming my appointment, as well as the actual install was professional, courteous and respectful.

As for the quality of the work: superb. Armando showed up on time, recommended a solution that worked for me, and explained exactly what he was going to do and why before starting on any work.

I am late in writing this. Pete's team came and installed patio heaters, ceiling fan and ran new electrical conduit to our new patio cover in December, 2021

We've used Armes Electric many times in the past and have never been disappointed. They do EXTREMELY HIGH QUALITY WORK!!! If there is a problem, they are always willing to come out and address it.

They are not the cheapest. But the old adage is true in this case - you get what you pay for. They are professional, reliable and do excellent service.

Honestly, there are few business/contractors that I have worked with that have this level of my trust. They are excellent and I totally appreciate their high quality.

Marcus & Juan (2 OUTSTANDING, POLITE & PROFESSIONAL service technicians) were at my residence last week on a service call. They executed the following PERFECTLY:
1. on-time for the appointment.
2. were friendly and relayed what the prognosis was in a manner that was easy to understand.
3. were courteous when it came to putting on construction boot feet-covers. (which was very cool because we just had the upstairs floor re-done!)
4. our final bill was exactly what we expected and there were NO SURPRISES (the line items on the receipt were also very descriptive and great for documentation purposes).
5. the service provided was IMPECCABLE.

Had an electrical issue on Christmas Eve and was looking for someone to come out the same day so I gave Armes Electric a ring. I explained my situation and they were willing to walk me through some potential solutions via FaceTime. We were able to resolve the issue smoothly and quickly (thanks to their wealth of knowledge and experience).

All I've got to say is wow! I unfortunately have a terrible memory for names, so I can't give kudos to the two awesome guys Armes sent out, but they deserve it! I was quoted a total that was more than what I ended up paying, so that for starters was amazing! The guys did a fantastic job, cleaned up after themselves, and were absolutely so kind. Proper covid precautions were taken. Replaced a fan/light combo, a LED bathroom light, and installed a new outlet in about 2 hours time. They even cleaned the dead bugs out of an outdoor light/fan for me! Couldn't recommend Armes more!

Pete A came out and gave me a fair quote on job to get power to a new patio cover. He provided me with options that would work for my needs and did not try to upsell me, which I appreciated very much. A prior quote from another company started with....you need to change out this entire breaker box.... That may be the case, but let's talk the job at hand!
When his guys came out to do the work they were friendly and professional and did a great job. I especially liked that they asked me what my intent was for the patio and labeled everything for me which made my job of wiring lights, fans, and a TV very easy.

As a first time homeowner, it is tough to trust people to take care of work you want done in your home. When I rented, the company took are of it. Now that I own, it's a different ball game. The condo I purchased came with two canned recessed lights in the living room off to the side, but nothing in the two bedrooms. I contacted Armes Electric & left my information with Brian. The following day, Pete, the owner gave me a call & we setup a day to meet up for a walk through.

From the beginning, I could tell Pete liked what he did, knew what it involves, and was a stand up guy. He isn't just a salesman, he's legit in his word and talks like a normal human being. I asked for his opinion on how many lights would be a good fit for my living room with vaulted ceilings and he told me 4 was plenty (I had previously been quoted by another company that wanted to install 6). Same went with the bedrooms.

We chit chatted some more since one of the biggest things I wanted to get locked down was painting afterwords and lighting plays a big role. I asked between the kelvin's and he gave his honest opinion that 3K was a good natural white without the yellow tinge that a 2700K would give. If I wanted to go up, he said he could offer it for me to test which I found very helpful. We even swapped painter information because he said he recently had repainted his home gray and told me his story about it. He also recommended that I could go with tilted drivers to angle the light a bit better, but also said truthfully that my vaulted ceilings weren't that bad of an angle that I would need it. Again, he offered to install both if I wanted to try them out.

Once he left, I knew that I would like to do business with him. I got the quote, liked the price, and luckily today someone canceled so his team (Jason & Aaron) came over and within 5 hours they were in and out installing a total of 12 recessed lighting, removing the two old ones, installing dimmer switches, and also moving down a electrical outlet in one of the rooms for me.

They do not do dry wall, so for anyone looking to get any electrical done, get ready to get a painter or another contractor to do the work.

Compared to other companies, the price is equivalent if not just a little bit more, but you got Pete's name behind it & I feel he'll work with you if you ask.

5/5 for any electrical work & recessed lighting!

I used Armes back in 2014 for a routine job. I had an urgent need to fix a power outlet recently. I dug out my old receipt and contacted them. They were extremely polite and understanding of the situation. They told me that they have a heavy workload due to upcoming Labor Day weekend. However, they will try to do their best.

Within an hour, they asked if they can come by since a previous job finished earlier. The team showed up, identified the problem and fixed it. Very professionally done. Reasonable pricing.

These guys here are who you call the real electricians. Pete has crews that are very knowledgeable and professional. Pete stopped by to see what the work entails before the scheduled date to make sure they will be fully prepared. The crew arrived on time, did their job efficiently, and left the house clean. There will be all these electricians who will quote you lower price on thumtack, and whatnot. But you get what you pay for. Yes they are not the cheapest companies you can find, but they will complete the job the correct way. I will be using them again in future.

The power in our kitchen was intermittent causing our fridge to switch off. Armed Electric was out the next day to repair the outlets and make it safe. I wanted 4 recessed lights installed in my living room ceiling, nice simple job. I called a couple of handymen who both quoted me upwards of $3000 and said it was because there was no crawl space above the ceiling. That seemed unusually high to me, so I called Armes and they quoted me about a third of that. They installed the lights plus a dimmer switch in a couple of hours and I couldn't be happier with the results, I have as much light as I could possibly want and since they're LED they will last quite a while. We are doing a partial remodel of our kitchen and needed several things done. 2-220v lines moved from two different areas of the kitchen to a wall where our new cooktop and oven are going on. We also needed several new outlets and a vent hood connection added.

I spoke to Pete on the phone and sent him photos of the job. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to give me a bid that was mid range of the other 4 bids I had. I just liked Pete and his Yelp page. I liked how he had his picture and all of his employees pictures on there so I knew who I was talking to.

When we decided to hire Armes they originally couldn't come out for about 5 days. Luckily for me they had a last minute opening and came the same day. The crew (including Jason) were awesome. Very friendly and efficient. They were done in just about 4 hours. And the best part is they came in under bid! I will definitely hire Armes again for any electrical need!!

My kids and I were in a bind and he took the time to help us out and fixed the problem.

Pete answered my call on a Sunday and I asked if he was on lockdown because of the corona virus. He absolutely was not and he fixed my dire problem.

Excellent job done. I contacted Armes to install two chandeliers for our dining and entryway. The chandeliers were large and approx 40 lbs. The entryway very narrow and 18ft high. Pete responded to my estimate request. Patiently explained our options for mounting hardware and working a narrow entryway. Very friendly and helpful.

Ty and Nathan performed the install, also very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated their meticulous work to make sure everything was done right. The chandeliers from the manufacturer (lamps plus) needed some adjusting in the mounting hardware to properly balance and level. One also had arrived damaged. Ty and Nathan were able to reattach the broken piece and touch up color. Saved us exchanging a large chandelier and a second install. Appreciate this team exceeding expectation.

We had someone else booked three weeks in advance that needed to reschedule but we had another job that had to go in sequence.

We were left in a bind and called Armes electric for a quote and availability. They were able to make it work and we had them come out two days later. They called in advance and started work. We ran into some electric issues but nothing extreme on pricing. It took maybe about two hours to install two bathroom vents. They came out great. They covered everything and cleaned up any remaining dust.

Thank you Armes Electric for saving our timeline and doing a good job. We would consider them again.

We recently moved into South Orange County and needed to add a number of outdoor electrical outlets and repair some existing electrical work as part of a larger exterior and landscaping project. I called Armes and the gentleman in the office confirmed that Armes performed the services we needed and said that he would pass my information on to the owner Pete as he did all scheduling. After week without a call back, I called the office again, confirmed my earlier call and the fellow that I spoke with very politely apologized and said that he would get in touch with Pete again and that I should expect a call very soon. Five days later, without a call back from Pete or anybody at Armes, I easily booked the work to be done by another electrician. Customer follow up is obviously very poor. I place high value on communication and meeting commitments, which Armes failed at in this case.

Professional, responsive and friendly.

I contacted Armes Electric about non-working electric cooktop and was scheduled a next-day service. Armondo and Collins came to run diagnosis and found a loose connection in junction box on the wall and a fried breaker in electric panel. Broken parts are replaced and the problem was fixed within an hour.

I would say the whole process, from the initial phone call with David to the field service by Armondo and Collins, is super smooth and professional. By the way, they are honoring the health protocol with face coverings during the covid-19 time.

Jason and his crew were unbelievable! We just moved in and had a long list of things to take care of. First and foremost was take down an ugly 100+lb. entryway fixture & install a new one in the 20' ceiling. They did an outstanding job painstakingly paying attention to every detail. Jason is an excellent communicator and very knowledgeable. The two people with him were equally friendly & easy to ask questions to. While one guy prepared to get the large fixture up, the other two completed other miscellaneous jobs around our house. No time was ever wasted time as they came prepared to answer our questions & get whatever we needed done. They definitely set themselves apart from any other contractor we've used with their friendly customer service, cleanliness and willingness to tackle whatever issue we asked them to look at.
We're already putting a new list together in anticipation of having them return!!!

The technicians installed two new outlets. One was in an upstairs closet so we could keep our cordless vacuum plugged in and out of the way. The second was in an entryway so that a lamp could be plugged in without having a long cord visible. One job took more time than the other and while one technician worked on that job, the other offered to install the charging station for the vacuum.

Both technicians were friendly, polite, courteous, and skilled! There was a big difference between their professionalism and that of other electricians we have dealt with in the past. We won't hesitate to call Armes Electric again!

Pete and his crew are the best electricians I've ever hired. I had a mess left behind by an incompetent contractor. It wasn't easy finding companies willing to fix or finish what another company did, much less did poorly. Pete came out to assess the work. He took video and showed it at his team meeting. YES, he actually has lunch meetings at a restaurant, with his crew to go over jobs etc. He showed the video as a lesson in what NOT to do. His crew arrived just ahead of schedule, did the work with SCE here to advise what they required. County inspector passed the work and closed the permit the next day.
These men are pros at what they do. I really appreciate an excellent contractor after dealing with total Bozos.

I was referred to Armes Electric by some friends. On March 10, 2020, Marcus and the crew came to our home to install LED can lighting in the kitchen, hallway, laundry room and master bath. The crew was extremely conscientious, polite, professional and meticulous. The results were truly amazing! So much more light now and loving it!

Also, on April 24, 2020, Marcus and another technician came back to mount a TV our back yard. They respected social distancing guidelines (and so did we) and cleanliness standards, worked very hard and did a fabulous (and very neat) job. We were so very impressed with their workmanship, knowledge, expertise and attention to detail. We are so grateful for them and will be using them in the future for other projects.

Our home was built in 1976 and we decided it was time for a major upgrade to the electrical system -- ceiling lights, fans, outlets, EV charger, service panel, and the infrastructure needed to convert the garage into a workshop.

We called Pete to arrange a preliminary walk through of our home and to discuss what we wanted. Pete showed up on time and was generous with his time and experience to help us determine the best approach for what was a massive job that included:

- A new 200 amp service panel plus 100 amp subpanel
- A 100 amp sub panel plus three 210 outlets and wire conduit for garage workshop
- Eight 110 outlets thought the house and garage
- Nineteen ceiling lights among three rooms
- Two ceiling fans
- Bathroom exhaust fan

Pete decided the best approach was to tackle the entire project in one day. He dispatched five trucks and a crew of eleven electricians to our home. It was an impressive the scene with the entire crew working in concert to complete the vast majority of the work that day. Only a ceiling fan was left that required a specific brace for installation at the peak of a cathedral ceiling (that was promptly completed a couple of days later).

We've been working with several contractors over the past 18 months and we can not praise Pete and his team enough. Pete and his team have set the bar incredibly high through their level of efficiency, professionalism, and care. We can't emphasize enough how they genuinely care about the quality of their work and the satisfaction of this customer. We had a few change requests after the fact the work was completed and Pete quickly had his crew come out and make adjustments.

It was a true pleasure working with Pete's team. We got to know each one by name and we are proud to say we are having Pete return for another phase of work to add two more ceiling fans and another bath exhaust fan.

Having an electrician come to your house can be very expensive. But the electricity in my home is not an area I want to skimp on.

My home is older, and so when I need help with re-wiring it upgrading, I wanted one that had great reviews. Armes didn't disappoint.

Yes, it cost $200 for 30 minutes of work, but they checked everything to make sure it was correct and up to code and fixed issues from the previous electrician.

They explained everything to me, and were very clean and respectful in my home.

Best of all, they came out the same day I called them. Fast, efficient, and thorough.

I highly recommend Armes, and will be using them for all my electrical needs from now on.

Wow! Outstanding work and service from Armes Electric. I sent out several bids for fan installation that needed wiring on an angled ceiling. Armes came in with the best bid and highest reviews on Yelp. Our local Facebook community, Mission Viejo Connection, also replied several times referring this company. Now I know why! Armando and Daniel came out to my home to install the fan this morning and spent a good two hours. I even had them install a hardwired carbon monoxide & smoke detector since they had the materials on hand and I kept meaning to replace my old one. Armando was super helpful with electrical questions, and he gave lots of useful tips on ceiling fans. Daniel was a perfectionist and paid attention to detail for my fan install and balance. There is no doubt that I will use Armes Electric for future electrical work. I've been thinking of an attic fan and Armando was very helpful providing resources and advice. As a general contractor for 35 years, when I need someone to do electrical work in my home, its hard to find someone I can trust because most of the trade contractors I work with don't want to screw around with residential service, a fan, a new switch or outlet....But we're hiring Armes Electric AGAIN because they are the best at home service work. We had to turn off our electricity because the main breaker burned and it wasn't something we could figure out. This happened around 7pm when most business are closed. We called a few places that stated they had emergency services, but none answered or returned our calls. We called Armes Electric and there was an option for emergency services that we could select. Pete answered and he was very professional and went above and beyond to help our situation. We decided that we could go on a night without electricity. This company provided excellent service from start to finish. I initially messaged the company thru Facebook messenger and they replied in a timely manner. I was able to obtain an appointment within 24hrs. The technician arrived before the scheduled appointment time - and I was kept in the loop along the way. I found Armes Electric on Yelp because I needed a professional after my hair dryer killed the outlet in my master bath, and the outlet still didn't work after I replaced it. They were quick to respond and showed up wearing masks, which I appreciated. I wish I would have written their names down, I think it was Jason and Steven. Anyway, they found the problem and completed the repair in less than an hour. They charged an hourly rate of $200.00. It was worth it to me for piece of mind. Dealing with the trades can be a real nightmare. Far too often tradesmen will stick it to you with poor results and high prices. But not Armes Electric! Today I called Armes because I saw smoke and sparks coming through the stucco wall where a gate was attached only three feet from my electric panel. Lights and outlets in different locations in my kitchen went dark. Soon after Armes sent a really nice guy who listened to what I said and saw. Quickly he diagnosed the problem, found several small related electrical issues that I had also been experiencing and cleaned the entire mess up. Now I have finally found a tradesmen I can trust. Five stars is not enough! Armes! I have some more work for you in the near future.

Really awesome customer service. I messaged Pete for a quote via yelp and he replied quickly, we had a quick phone call to discuss the service and he was able to give me an estimated quote based on what I needed. I wasn't ready to get the job done at that moment but I did end up calling again today and they were able to put me on the schedule the same morning. Ty and another gentleman arrived at the estimated time, was able to put a new outlet in my bathroom without having to cut too much drywall and completed the job beautifully in less an hour. You know how it goes, you come home from spending Thanksgiving with the family and the bathroom lights don't work, ugh! Since I don't have an electrician in my Rolodex I turn to yelp for help. The #1 ranked company in my area is Armes Electric and the reviews are amazing. I immediately message them hoping to have a reply by Monday, keep in mind this is late Thanksgiving night, and an hour later I get a response, yay!!! After a brief conversation on Friday morning, I have my superhero Danny at my residence by noon and ta-da!, all is repaired. I would give 10 stars if I could. Service exceeded expectations and the light in my bathroom has never been better. While Danny was here I had him replace an old light in my hallway and once again, fantastic lighting. Pete the owner is a blessing! Very long story short I thought I had an electrical problem and was in a panic for help because I live with my 90 yr old parents and we had no heat after a brand new furnace was installed. Pete returned my call (sorry I forget who took my original call but very kind man) asap on Saturday. After listening to me ramble on with what was going on, rather than charge me to come out to do an assessment of what it could possibly be he asked if we could facetime! Yes, and we did as I walked him around the house and to the breaker box. He told me it wasn't electrical. And guess what? He was right! The brand new furnace that was sold to us wasn't really brand new (that is another story). Anyway, Pete took the time on a Saturday to FaceTime with me to confirm it wasn't electrical at no charge! Armes electric has come through for me once again! We had a problem with our pool losing power for the filter. Long story. I called Armes and even though they were extremely busy before Thanksgiving they sent someone out that day to temporarily get our filter up and running. Then came out to permanently fix it about a week later. They didn't want our pool to be without a filter working for that long! They are wonderful and I trust them completely. This is the second time we have had them out. The first time was because someone had really messed up our electrical in our house that we had just bought. It was a major deal plus we wanted them to put in canned lighting and ceiling fans. They had a crew come in and it was all fixed and done with in a day. I can't recommend them enough!!

I've used Armes Electric a couple times now, and I've been very impressed with the final results both times. The first time was to install security lights and replace some existing fluorescent light fixtures with LED or LED-compatible fixtures. The second time was to replace a bunch of aging smoke detectors with newer models. There was a small glitch in how this work was done the first visit (partly due to some miscommunication on my part), but Armes came back out and made everything good the very next Monday (the next business day). Very impressed. Everyone is different, but I look for reviews to see how businesses handle things when things don't go perfectly the first time. Armes Electric aced that test. I would definitely use them again if I need similar services.

Great service! Having an electrical issue during this crazy coronavirus times was not good timing. My regular contractor stopped working for two weeks. The next guy I called texted me back but would not answer his phone. When I called Armes based on Yelp reviews, Pete immediately answered and was very helpful over the phone. He took the time to explain possible issues to me and what the costs may be. Their initial service fee was a little higher than some others, but when it comes to electrical issues, I really didn't want to take chances.
He had two guys at my house within 30 minutes! They figured out and solved the problem, and the overall bill was reasonable in my opinion.
The two guys that came out were very polite, professional and knowledgeable.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this company.
I would not hesitate to call them any time I have an electrical problem.

Highly recommend. I needed a large ceiling fan installed and called Armes Electric. I also have a heavy glass table that needed to be moved for installation. Scheduled an appointment for the following day. Pete came with another electrician. They put a rubber mat down after entering the kitchen from the garage and also coverings on my floor when working. I had some ballasts that were old and not working. Armes Electric was able to come out in a timely manner and recommended going to LED lights which would last longer and be brighter. They installed them at a reasonable price that they honored, did the installation in a short amount of time and cleaned up after they left. The whole process was efficient and very professional. Wow! These guys are the real deal. I had a simple dimmer switch to replace, but got my wires tangled, literally.

I was afraid of finding out what an electric chair feels like, so I called multiple electricians to come out. All were charging about the same rate and all were willing to take my money for the 5 minute job. (And no, YouTube did not have the walkthrough for my particular circumstance.) Except these guys - these guys walked me through the wiring process over the phone and refused my offer to pay them for their time with me.

They were friendly and professional and were obviously more interested in the repeat work and referrals over making a quick buck. In my view, that's the best way to run a business.

I have other electrical work that the house needs and these guys certainly have that business coming their way.

These are the type of people you wish were every contractor you call. They are honest, responsive and do not take advantage of an insurance claim like others I have encountered in my nightmare journey through a water leak. I tried others and had to get involved when the job was taking much longer than it should and I found out that no city permits were pulled by the other contractors. Armes employees have even helped me navigate the maze of work that had nothing to do with them.

I didn't have to wait long for an appointment, but even better, they moved me up when they had some extra time earlier in the week. They did their work quickly and charged me reasonable rates. I cannot recommend them more highly and strongly believe that they will be professional and responsive with your needs, including telling you if they cannot help. I wish everyone was like them.

Oh, and they can use my bathroom anytime.

Had them come out to replace a ceiling fan, install Ring Floodlight Camera Motion-Activated Security Cam, and fix outside landscape lighting issues. They sent 2 people so the work went so much quicker. They came on time and were very knowledgeable and personable. They were extremely helpful in setting up the Ring security camera and helped us configure the phone app. They cleaned every area up after they finished. The prices they quoted me over the phone were the same as what I was charged. No extra work or fees were charged.

Pete, the owner, came to my house to survey my request to estimate the cost to put in a Transfer Switch Box from my main panel that would enable my portable generator to feed 10 breakers if there were an electrical blackout.
From the get go I liked his friendly personality and how he described what would happen before, during, and after the job was completed.
I received two other bids from recommended companies and decided on Armes Electric. Awesome work, Jonathan and Daniel arrived on time, very personable, did their work with no interruptions to my family and were so respectful understanding that we were concerned about the Covid19 virus and staying in. When they were finished, everything was tested and 100% perfect. They even cleaned their work area as if not having been there. The bill was exactly as we had agreed and better than the other two estimates.

In fact, I was very thankful that I chose this company. They sent out 4 electricians to prepare my duplex for central air. They were on time, friendly, very efficient and professional. Armes was recommended to me by Trading Post Ceiling Fans. We had some problems with fans up in a 20 foot + ceiling. I was nervous that I needed new fans, but they were able to troubleshoot and fix the existing ones in no time at all. We also had them switch out almost 20 outlet boxes that were loose.
Although they are located in Laguna Hills, they came all the way up to Yorba Linda. They were exactly on time, friendly and professional, efficient and skilled. I would call them again for any work I need in the future. Their price was more than fair for the work performed. I am happy on every level. Thank you!

I recently moved into a new home and called them to assess my panel , circuits in the kitchen, asked about new outlets, etc. The dispatch was helpful and scheduled me in a busy time several days in advance. The two technicians showed up after the window I was given and quite frankly didn't seem happy to be here. The items they fixed were done well...replaced a gfci, and several outdoor lights were replaced and a connection fixed. I had asked about rectifying too many appliances on a circuit and that was basically poo-pooed as unnecessary. I asked for an estimate to install outdoor outlets and upgrading the panel. I didn't receive the estimate until i followed up several days later. I replied right away asking if they would consider a discount if I paid cash and have never received a response. I guess several thousands of dollars of a job isn't worth good customer service to them. I will be going elsewhere for me electrical needs. Also both technicians used my bathroom while they were here which I find unprofessional since they were only here a short while. Most of all it was the attitude and lack of enthusiasm that made me uncomfortable.

Fyi: the reason this was submitted 8 months later is because somehow it was in drafts and never posted , so I posted it after I saw. While I appreciate the owner response after my review, it doesn't change my experience. It certainly was not a 5-star experience

I would like to start off by saying I have never written a Yelp review before, but I felt it was necessary. I want to express my gratitude and I'd like to help other home owners find the best electrical company in Orange County. It was an absolute pleasure working with Armes Electric, from the first call with David to speaking with the owner Pete. The professionalism, knowledge and personal attention is outstanding! 10/10. I had an issue with my old electric panel. One of the main wires coming from the riser showed heat damage, which was a fire hazard. I ended up losing power to over 70% of my home. I called 14 Yelp electrical companies and they all failed in comparison to Armes. The other companies told me that they do not repair old panels, and they couldn't find the part needed. Most of them tried to sell me a costly upgrade. For the panel repair, I received quotes from $396 to $1,200. Also, these companies were not able to come out for weeks. The process of getting an upgrade would have taken me weeks with permits and I did not have time to waste. My repair was an absolute emergency and no one could help me until I spoke with Armes. The owner Pete listened to me and he was very sympathetic and concerned about my problem. Pete is honest and truly cares for his clients. I spoke with him late Thursday night and by the next morning he had found the part and had a crew at my house at 9am. When Jason and Juan arrived, they were on time, friendly and polite. They both wore masks and practiced social distancing. They answered all my questions and concerns and made sure everything was taken care of before they left. Armes literally saved my home from a potentially dangerous situation, and they saved me thousands of dollars on a costly upgrade. I am beyond pleased with my whole experience with Armes. I made the mistake of not calling Armes first. Do yourself the favor and make sure to call Armes first. You will save time, save money and you will be completed satisfied with the services.

A-MAY-ZING!!! I cannot say enough good things about this company. Following an arc in the main panel and a completely melted feed, we spent nearly 2 weeks going back and forth between Edison to look at the main power panel and our home warranty (First American you suck and so does M K Electrical Services that you sent out for the inspection). Following the inspection, we were told by First American that the entire panel would need to be replaced, that it was considered an upgrade and was therefore not covered. I turned to Yelp to start calling around for quotes, found Armes and gave them a call. Jason H - aka Superman as I now refer to him after bending that copper busbar - indicated that a replacement would indeed mean some costly upgrades to meet code and he would do his best to make the repair. BOOM! 3 hours later all better, full power, and a shiny new bus for literally a fraction of what it would have cost to replace the panel. Thank you Jason for the honesty and integrity you bring to your trade. Needless to say, Armes is on my home repair speed dial. Too bad they don't do plumbing!

They came on time with masks on their faces. Marcus and Johnathan greeted me and made me feel comfortable right away. We had to wait a while for them to come out, but that's expected with Covid. I also told them I was not in a rush to get it done. They came out to pigtail all my light switches and outlets because the house is wired with aluminum. They also fixed the light in my bathroom and fixed an outlet that wasn't working. They were upfront with pricing and very friendly, even my chihuahua liked them. They showed up with 4 guys and got the job done fast. When they left it was like they were never here, except now I worry less about fires and my light and outlets all work! Superb Experience!!! We live in south OC and my property needed badly the electric work. I reached out to few people and couldn't connect with them. My visit was on 3/7. I was called and said I was after lunch and would be updated on arrival. At 2pm I called and asked if it was after lunch. Apology was given for not following up. Around 3pm Jonathon showed up. I showed him the side of my kitchen where my electrical problem was. He asked where the electric box was, I showed him, and he flipped the switch and said that will be $150 dollars. He was at my house no more than 5 minutes. I ended up giving him a check for $100. Not end of story. 2 days later power was gone again same area. Hired another electrician who actually tested at the box and fixed it. My advise is to not call Armes. Very unsettling experience.

FOLLOWUP 3/14/18 Owner Pete called me. He was very concerned about my experience. We spoke about my perception of the issue and his employees' perception and came to the agreement that bottom line he wants his customers to be happy so he agreed to return my check and I agreed to give them another chance at a later time.

I called Armes Electric about an electrical issue that had progressively gotten worse in our home-- power out in 3 outlets, then 5, then 7, then finally our sprinkler system was shut off. I found myself watering my lawn before the sun rose and thought, even though this is a time of COVID19 and I am high risk, I really NEED to get this electrical situation squared away. I called and left a message. Someone named David called right back and was really knowledgeable listing some of the things it could be. I told him of my COVID19 sensitivities and he assured us that their guys would do as much as they could to the level I was comfortable with, and also that they use booties, gloves, and masks on all their jobs. That put me at ease. An hour later, I got a call from the owner, Pete Armes himself, who totally got it and even offered to help me right over the phone with FaceTime at NO CHARGE. How amazing. He walked me through it as I showed him the switches and buttons and he said what to push or flip-- and voila! Everything is back up and running perfectly.
He wouldn't even accept payment. I told him I had to give him a great review on Yelp, so here I am. Armes Electric are a knowledgeable, courteous, understanding team led by a kind hearted owner who truly wants to help people-- and does expertly! They made a HUGE difference to us which means a LOT in these crazy days and always.

Bottom line: They were knowledgeable, they empowered us to fix the problem by walking us through step by step over the phone (which was important during COVID19), and they didn't accept payment. They are true electricians who get satisfaction of helping people with their electric. And now, they have earned a lifelong customer.

Armes replaced a ceiling fan hanging from a 19' ceiling and replaced a light timer in the garage. I called a few weeks back to set up the appointment and get an estimate. I spoke to David who was very helpful answering some additional questions regarding the fan itself to be sure I was buying one that would work in our room. Today, electricians Ty and Scott did the installation. They were very knowledgeable, professional, worked quickly and followed my lead by keeping their anti-COVID masks on the entire time without me having to ask. Pete is incredible. Our AC went out and wouldn't turn back on during this heat wave. I had a particularly vexing issue with 2 breakers repeatedly tripping -- a short that would erratically trip the breakers. I knew this wouldn't be straightforward, as there were multiple elements, including the pool equipment, pool lights, outside gfi plugs and a string of receptacles inside the house. I tried to trouble shoot on my own but finally needed professional help. Jonathan initially came and we mapped out the circuits. He checked all the connections, cleaned up the junction boxes and a few nicked up connections. Things looked ok, but the problem recurred. He came back and disconnected parts of the circuit, so we could sequentially eliminate the possibilities. Finally, we figured the problem had to be with part of a buried conduit. Pete, the owner came out for an estimate. He was very pleasant and straightforward. Jonathan came back with a lead colleague (sorry, do not recall his name) and they diligently and efficiently rewired the affected portion through new conduit.

This took several visits due to the trouble shooting part, but I appreciate their thoughtfulness and stepwise actions -- rather than unnecessary work and expenses. They did a great job, communicated well, and came in under the estimate. Thanks!

We have done much work on our many homes and have gone through many contractors and electricians. Armes Electric stands out as being one of the best. They are professional, courteous and reliable (we had Danny and Jared). They really know their stuff and were also helpful even with design ideas. They are experienced, efficient, and clean. We had recessed lighting (11 lights) installed all over the house, some in difficult to reach areas, and with some tricky wiring/switches. We also had them fix a large difficult-to-reach ceiling fan that was installed improperly by our previous electrician (it was making an irritating clicking noise before). It seemed there wasn't anything they couldn't do. Their prices were reasonable, and their work was top-notch. I wouldn't hesitate on working with them again.

Pete was kind enough to provide some quick troubleshooting to try and save me the cost of a service call. Unfortunately that didn't work, but his guys came and helped me resolved my issue. The electricians are superb! The three individuals wired four rooms for fans/lights. We did not have outlets in the ceiling so it was a challenge for them to get the wiring through the ceiling, and install the fans with lights. They also did dimmer switches for each room. They were very very careful cutting into the walls and did minimal damage, and did not leave a mess. I would highly recommend this company to do any installation for fans/lights and switches.

Great service from Armes Electric. They came out within hours of my call and resolved my issue quickly and professionally. I had a circuit go out from overuse, and after the normal troubleshooting of resetting the breaker and GFCI outlets, I called these guys. They found some faulty wiring behind one of my outlets and promptly fixed it. Price was reasonable. I'll be using them again for any future electrical issues I have.

Had a foobar with a circuit in our house and Armes Electric was recommended on Next Door. Gave these guys a try and had the problem fixed in the next day or two. Later that day I accidentally tripped the circuit breaker again due to a bad outlet and they were able to come by the next day on the way to another job to fix that at no charge. Great work and reliable. Definitely recommend this company.

I could not be happier with these folks. Christmas Eve, lost half the plugs in our upstairs... no pop, no smoke... no explanation. I frantically called a couple of highly-rated folks but unsurprisingly they were unavailable to help until after the holidays. Then I called Armes, and I was greeted by a cheery and sympathetic ear who was willing to send out a team to help. Within the hour, I had two wonderful electricians at my door. They VERY quickly figured out the problem, all the while being super helpful and explaining what the issue was and what they were doing about it. As it turned out, I had live wires that had basically pulled free in an outlet... potentially pretty dangerous. Within no time, problem solved... all for a very reasonable cost.

Honestly, one of the very best experiences I've ever had with a service-based company. I will never call any other electrician.

I hired Armes Electric to come to my residence and install 4 outlets, remove a phone jack and outlet, and replace a light fixture outside. I had 2 electricians named Jonathan and Juan come out. They were fantastic!!! They were professional, clean, efficient and up front with the price and time it would take to complete the job. I received other quotes from other competitors, but some were double. The gentleman who I originally spoke to, whom I assume was the owner, was easy to speak to and pleasure to deal with. Reached out to Armes and Pete had super fast communication and scheduling. He sent his team out and they called when they were 30 min out and arrived 5 min early.

I asked them to check functionality on my smoke alarms plus fixing the outdoor outlets and they had completed this all in a bit more than an hour. Awesome job... his team walked me through why I had the issues and fixed them perfectly. 100% satisfied and will use them again when I have electrical issues!

Pete the owner of Armes is incredible. He went to extraordinary measures to insure my In Home Theater was installed properly yesterday . Made a huge mistake buying a 700 pound chandelier that nobody wanted to hang on my 20 foot ceiling. The ceiling needed to be specially reinforced and I had bids upwards of $6,000 to hang this stupid thing. Finally decided to bite the bullet and pick a contractor. I didn't go with the lowest bidder. I went with the guy who seemed most professional, competitively priced ($2500) and a decent human being. Pete Armes came out to give the quote and then sent out a fantastic crew to get the job done.

Marcus, Spenser and Armando did excellent work and were an absolute pleasure to have in my home. Sometimes, I am uncomfortable with having workmen around my teen-aged daughter. (Okay, I'm not comfortable having most men around my teen-aged daughter.) These three guys were so polite and kind, I felt completely at ease with them. They worked efficiently and very carefully. They covered everything to make sure nothing was damaged and they managed to finish the entire job in a day (whereas a couple of the other quotes estimated it was a three day job). Afterwards, they cleaned everything up and even helped me put in some light bulbs that were too high for me to reach. They were hard-working, polite and super nice guys. I've been using Armes Electric for over two years on 3 different occasions for electrical work on our 50 year old home. We've had them install can lights, add outlets as needed, run electrical and drill through our stucco walls to set up security cameras, fix old outlets - you name it. They are professional, on time, they clean up after themselves, and their pricing is fair. The owner, Pete, also responded to an emergency call on a Sunday recently and sent one of his crew out to fix an outlet that had sparked and melted. I cannot thank them enough for being available when we needed them. Pete and his team will definitely be our electricians for life!

Armes Electric recently did some lighting work for my home in Mission Viejo, and made a great first impression. I asked them to install new recessed LED can lights in a couple rooms and retrofit some existing cans throughout the house. Our condo power went out for the bathrooms, kitchen and garage. We tried to reset the circuit breaker but nothing worked. Called Armes emergency number and the owner, Pete came by. He was able to fix it in seconds because as it turned out one switch in particular was stuck and was off by a millimeter barely detectable. He had to push on it very hard to snap it back into alignment. He made sure everything was working and took time to explain how we overloaded the circuit and gave us tips. Today is Sunday morning! We are quite impressed that this company has great work ethic. The owner called me back within 15 minutes and came by within half hour on a Sunday! That speaks volume! Highly recommend this company!

Just had Armes install 4 Ring video camera's and a ring doorbell. They did a great job! They came prepared with all the equipment. The installation looks great. They patched the stucco, used silicon to seal around the boxes and cleaned up. They also considered the best approach to wire everything up. I will be using them again.

Today was our third time using Armes. It for sure won't be our last. The guys today were first and foremost on time. That's important! They were friendly, fast and VERY clean. At the start they explained what the project involved. This time they replaced old track lighting with LED cans and retrofit old fixtures in the same style. Before leaving I asked if they had time to wire a plug for a new TV. Not a problem. I think they are VERY competitively priced. I cannot say enough good about them. Previously they did two (2) ceiling fans and replaced old switches with new rocket-type switches.

This company is like a big family and I want them to adopt me. Armando can be my son. All kidding aside, what a refreshing way to do business. From the first call to Megan, who is delightful, to the appointment and follow up, Armes is 100% on the job. I had several honey do and honey don't projects and Armando did them all in a timely, efficient manner. He was very interactive with me, asking my preferences every step of the way (who does that anymore). Danny and Juan from Armes Electric arrived on schedule and they were able to resolve the issue at hand, including answering my multiple questions (Danny's answers were very informative), in a timely manner.

At first, they were a little puzzled at what was going on... but once they got into the outlets, they knew exactly what was happening.

They brought mats to put their equipment on and were very neat. Danny made a comment that he likes to make it look like he was never here. Being a person in the service industry myself, I feel the same way.

I'll definitely be calling Armes Electric back to take care of the rest of the the electrical needs on my list.

We recently brought a house which only had floor lamps, we explained to Pete what we wanted & he met with my partner on a few occasions to go over the options & recommend the best lighting system for us. We went with track lighting & wall sconces.

I have used Armes Electric for years, and had new outdoor lighting installed yesterday. I cannot say enough about Pete and his expertise and the professionalism of his team. What I like the most is they send 6-8 electricians so the job is done quickly - in my case it was less than 5 hours.

I used Armes Electric in the past for installing an outlet behind a TV in my bedroom. Jason did an excellent job, he was very knowledgeable, was fast and cleaned up after himself. I was exceptionally happy with the job. Today, my bathroom GFCI was tripped. This had been replaced about six months ago, by someone else. To say the least, I was upset it wasn't resetting. I called Armes and talked to Pete. I gave him the information on what I did to try to resolve the resetting the GFCI. He suggested that maybe with the rain that the outdoor receptacles could have gotten damp or wet and that could cause the bathroom to trip. Thankfully, that was the problem and it saved me 200.00. I can't thank Pete enough for his suggestion and saving me the money. I will definitely call Armes with any future needs.

We contracted with Armes Electric to replace/upgrade all the light switches and outlets in a 2-BR condo. Pete the owner arrived on time as promised and was friendly and professional when discussing the project with us. He quoted what we considered a fair price for professional electrician services and the install date was scheduled. Two technicians arrived onsite at the agreed upon time and wrapped up their work in just a few hours. Like their boss, they were courteous and professional. When finished, they cleaned up and took away all old parts and hardware. We were very satisfied with the work and spoke with Pete about coming back to complete some electrical upgrades in the garage. Armes Electric is absolutely the best and specifically, Danny! I'm having pool construction work done at my home and the crew knocked out the electric power with their heavy duty equipment. I found Armes Electric using Yelp. I called and they were at my home within two hours. They not only repaired the electrical outlet problem I called about but Danny also took care of a lighting problem with the pool and my outdoor lighting timer and electric outlet. The next day, the pool contractors again knocked out the power. I called Armes again and also called the pool contractor to report the problem they needed to correct. Armes was very busy at the time of my call at another job site which I understood. However, within the hour Danny unexpectedly showed up at my door at the end of the day. I told him the pool contractor was sending someone the next morning and Danny said, I'm here, let me take a look and he took care of the problem immediately. I've learned more about electricity from Danny in one day than I've known in my lifetime! Danny also has a strong shoulder to cry on when you are an elderly lady and think everything that could go wrong in one day has happened and he ended that day positively for me!

I called Armes after hours because our GFCI outlet shorted out and couldn't be reset. I had reset the main circuit breaker and unplugged fridge connected to the line, but the outlet still would not reset. I spoke with Steve who was at a Christmas party, but still took the time to walk me through some additional steps over the phone to avoid a house call. Thankfully it worked. Moreover, I wasn't charged. You just can't find courteous, professional, and good people like this any more. If you want honest and quality work from good people, call Armes.

We had a broken ceiling fan light issue and right before hosting family Christmas. it is the only light we have in that room so it was critical I got it repaired. On my initial call I spoke to Pete and explained our situation and he gave me some options. I had called a few other companies to see if they could help and they were all busy until the new year. Pete understood my urgent issue and found a way to move the schedule around and to install a new light in ceiling fan the same day of my call (and did not charge me extra for the expediency). Awesome crew with such professionalism. After exchanging a few text messages and emails to explain the work I was hoping to have done, a wonderful team came out and gave me an estimate before starting their work. They gave me a low end an a high end and I gave them the green light. I was having a pendant light hung from my front porch while removing the existing wall sconce. That could mean cutting into drywall inside and stucco outside. The crew was lucky enough to not make any additional cuts inside nor out, got the work done beautifully, and asked that I review the pendant's placement before the finished. They used a tarp and there was not one piece of dirt/wire when they left.

They were so professional, responsive, and fairly price. I highly recommend using this crew if you want the job done right!

I wrote a review about 5 days ago regarding Armes Electric that I felt they didn't want my business to clean up an electrical mess because we had decided not to do the complete the project.
Pete (owner) wrote me back after reading my review and asked me to call him if I would like to talk about the situation which I did call him. He was very pleasant and he even offered to come to my home and take a look at the electrical unsafe mess I had in my backyard. He saw the mess fixed it and wouldn't even let me pay for for his electrical expertise and time. I wasn't looking for a free deal, but I guess he felt there was just a lack of communication and apologized. My husband and I definitely respect Pete as a one of kind business man.
He even told me to call him directly in the future for any electrical needs. I definitely found a company who cares about customers and would use them in the future and highly recommend them.

Since purchasing our home two years ago, Armes Electric has provided service multiple times as we continue to make improvements. There is no possible way I could be convinced that there is a better residential electrician option than Armes Electric. They've always been responsive, professional, efficient, and fair. I've referred them to a neighbor who was also pleased with their work. If you're considering an electrician, look no further. They've earned their 5-star rating and it can't be easy to maintain that with consistently great service for every situation they encounter.

Don't plan on these guys even showing up after making an appointment. No respect. I made arrangements to have them trouble shoot an unsafe electrical condition in my residence and they said they would be able to come the next day. I agreed since they had such good Yelp reviews. I waited all day and they were a NO SHOW; not even a call. Definitely total disregard for other people's time and safety. Your time and money means nothing to them. Look for integrity elsewhere. Disgusted!

I just moved into a home in Newport Beach and was looking to make a few electrical changes. My adult daughter, who lives in nearby Costa Mesa, send me a picture of one of their trucks...mentioned that she frequently sees them around...and suggested that I should check their reviews. I did, and noted that their reviews were overwhelmingly positive.

I engaged them and three men showed up this morning at 8:30 am ready to begin. They mounted a new dining room light, installed a 50 amp electric vehicle charging outlet in the garage, and ran power and a telephone line to a hall cabinet so I could place my telephone answering machine there.

They got to work and seemed to enjoy themselves and each other. I've been around a lot of electricians and was impressed with their professionalism and competency. They seemed to have all the necessary tools and knew how to use them. They protected the surrounding area with tarps as needed and cleaned up when they were finished.

Overall, I was very satisfied with their work and will use them again when the need arises.

I was very impressed with Pete and his team. I called the office after reading reviews here. Pete's team came out and gave me a very good bid to install recessed lights and ceiling fixtures in two rooms. They did the work within a few hours and had all the materials on hand.

Pete stopped by to introduce himself while the work was in progress. He gave me some good ideas about adding lights to my yard which I plan to do next.

I will use Armes for all my electrical needs in the future and recommend to my family and friends.

Perfect. Good service and follow up. Referred by Trading Post Fan Co, to install a fan.
On time, efficient, and clean work. This was a basic install but the next day the remote did not operate. Armes immediately sent Jason back to check on the problem. He reprogrammed the remote and it again worked. Same thing happened next day. Again Jason called to let me know the remote was probably defective. I was sent a new remote overnight via Trading Post and have no problems since. I appreciated the company working to make sure the customer was satisfied.

My only wish now is that I knew of this company for previous fan/electrical work. I will definitely call on them in the future.

My husband did a weekend project of upgrading the switches and outlets in our home in Irvine. He has a lot of experience with this type of work, but despite doing this at other homes in the past, his upgrades did not work this time! We were in a bind because half of the electrical switches and outlets in the house did not work!! So I called Armes Electric, and they put me in touch with Pete, the owner, who was beyond nice. These guys are the gold standard in electricians. I called them late in the week (I believe Friday), and they were at my house on Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. The appointment was for 8:15 a.m., and they rolled up to my house at 8:10 a.m. and were extremely pleasant to talk to. Upon finding out that I didn't have the right fixture at my house, they left to go pick it up and came back quickly. Their installation was quick and efficient and their recommendations were spot on. The price was reasonable, the service was top-notch, and they were extremely nice and pleasant to me, my wife, and my two daughters while at my house. No need to look anywhere else, make the call.

I was going through my next door messages and came across a review of Armes Electric. The neighbors were very happy with the customer service so I decided to call Pete the owner of the company to set up an appointment. I was surprised that he picked up his call and he graciously gave me a number to call and schedule an appointment. The lady that answered the phone was very pleasant and extremely professional. She scheduled the appointment and the guys arrived on time at my house to help me with my recessed lighting and hanging my tv on the wall. Dan and Aaron showed up to install my lights and they were very very professional, personable and very patient with all our questions. During the installation, I wanted to also install a light fixture which was not part of the order and to my surprise they graciously agreed to help with that too. My husband and I were very happy with the service and we highly recommend them for the great service they provide. We hired Armes to replace two ceiling fans, install wall panels for the fans (because kids plus a remote for ceiling fans equals a disaster), install a quad electrical outlet with a dedicated circuit, install canned lights, install an exhaust fan/light in a bathroom, and to upgrade our light switches. The work was superb- and it was all done in a day. The men who did the work were professional, courteous and efficient. We had been having electrical issues that were made worse by our Fidelity Home Warranty 'electricians'. The warranty people actually came out, sparked a wire cutting power in half our house, and then left because the warranty doesn't cover shorts!
Fortunately we decided to stop messing with Fidelity and hire our own real electrician in the form of Armes. They fixed the short and determined that the previous owners had not hooked up this 240v A/C outlet to the breaker box properly - very dangerous. They ran a new wire through the attic, and even brought a saw up to cut a channel where the old wire was pinched.
Very thorough, quick, and made our house safer. They were nice and told us what was going on and what our options were along the way.

Armes Electric was recommended by my real estate agent, Lorie from Realty One Group. I am glad I followed her advice because Pete & his team did a great job on my new house!

I recently purchased a house which was built in 1974 and needed better lighting and electrical upgrades. I had can-light installed in the living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. They also upgrades all the electrical throughout the house and garage. Overall, nice work and good clean up after the project was done.

I've used other one-man shop electricians from Yelp, but when they are good, getting them in a hurry can be difficult. Turned to Armes Electric to help solve a GFI-related issue affecting half the house. Spoke to the owner, Pete, who first assessed the issue with me to see if it was something quick and easy that I could do. I really appreciated that. He was able to work me into the schedule today (with a few trucks and electricians, I didn't have to wait for days). Jason and Juan showed up early and got to work diagnosing and fixing the problem. Pete Armes, owner of Armes Electric, is our Christmas hero, saving the day! Right after Christmas breakfast was cooked, my adult daughter noticed that the refrigerator light had suddenly gone out, and we eventually realized that much of the kitchen's electricity was out. Switching the circuit breaker didn't work, so my husband called Pete, as they had done an excellent job of putting in a new electrical outlet for a new garage opener a year ago. Pete was honest, kind, and gracious to interrupt his own Christmas morning to figure out what was wrong over the phone and SAVED THE DAY! This was the second time we have been impressed. A year ago, Markus had also been prompt, came out for the bid very quickly, communicated clearly what he would do and returned at a time convenient to us to finish the job extremely well so we could get our garage door in record time. Since we and most of the Saddleback Valley have homes between 40 and 20 years old, it is a nightmare to have an electrical emergency on a holiday. Armes Electric has proven to us several times that they put the homeowner first and that they are impeccable in their trustworthiness and service. Thank you Yelpers for recommending Armes Electric! After an upstairs toilet leaked into the kitchen ceiling downstairs at our rental property, we had to remove our kitchen ceiling and existing canned lights to dry out the moisture. After the moisture dried and new ceiling drywall was in place, we needed an electrician to reinstall the recessed lights.

Our usual electrician was not available so I searched on Yelp for someone to help us out. This was our first time using Armes Electric and it definitely won't be our last! The guys showed up on time, they worked quickly, they were clean, picked up after themselves, and the entire transaction was easy.

They just seemed really professional and honest, and I'm confident everything was done to code. Couldn't have been happier with their service. I won't hesitate to use them again for my future electrical needs.

I called Armes requesting a quote on installing a new outdoor outlet. Thankfully they were able to come out the next week (I called during their busy summer time). Their pricing was surprisingly good, the quality of their work is superb, and Jason (the electrician they sent over) was very courteous and did an excellent job. Called Armed Electric after having our kitchen backsplash done and unable to get the outlet/switch plates back on due to added thickness on wall. Plus we were changing out our 20 yr old under the cabinet lighting. Pete was very professional on phone, he returned calls, gave fair quote/estimate, and had reasonable appointment days & time. He sent out Marcus and Alex and these two were awesome. They fixed up my outlets and put my new outlet/switch plates on, replaced my outdated under cabinet lights with the new ones we bought. What can I say about Armes Electric: fast, responsive, courteous, reasonable and great to work with. Armes Electric responded to my late Saturday afternoon emergency call and fixed my electrical issue within an hour of calling. I have twin newborn children and I was in a bind without electricity. I called a half dozen other companies before I came across Armes Electric. Only two of the other companies I called that day called me back the next day.

I have been an Armes Electric customer for more than 4 years. I have had all of my overhead lighting changed to LED, outlets upgraded during a whole house (plumbing) repipe and many other projects. In July I had the gas heaters in my pool house replaced with AEI electric heaters; What a difference! I no longer worry that my guests hair will catch fire when I turn on the heaters! The new electric heaters are completely adjustable, from warm to HOT. They are also really slim-line and attractive.

Last week I had Armes back to install two car charging stations installed in my garage. The work was done quickly and they work great, even though I needed new lines run for the electricity from the box to the garages. I will absolutely be calling them for all of my future electrical needs.

I wanted to write this sooner, however, Thanksgiving and Christmas got in the way. On the Tuesday before this Thanksgiving (2019) Pete Armes, and his crew at ARMES ELECTRIC, located in Laguna Hills, were just GREAT!!! I would recommend their services for any electrical issues. I found Pete and his crew to be responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Their services were more than prompt, completed quickly and efficiently, with fair pricing. Most importantly, Pete was willing and able to provide replacement parts for our very old main panel, rather than having to move and replace the entire panel, saving us significant money. They also placed a new circuit for the microwave. This all occurred on short notice and only 2 days before Thanksgiving. I called the office and advised them of our electrical issue around 10 am. I was advised they were very busy, but someone would get back to me shortly. I figured it would be early afternoon before I heard anything, if I was lucky. About 11:30 Pete, the owner, called and then came by to look at our problem. Our house was built in the mid-70's. After inspection, he found we had a very old main panel that was placed above the gas line going into the house. Of course, that panel is no longer made. Pete advised we probably needed a new main breaker ($450 approx.), a new (different make) panel and a new dedicated line for the microwave (which we knew). A new different / panel could be obtained however, the location of the panel would have to be changed due to new housing codes. Pete said he had some old main breakers for that panel that were still good and indicated he could re-build the old panel with new bus bars so that it didn't need to be moved. That's what he did and things are working great!!! -Steve Martino

One of our employees got a space heater for Christmas and plugged in this morning, there were already 2 space heaters on the breaker and it tripped. One of our attorneys tried to reset then had me start calling electricians for immediate availability and after multiple calls Peter had me send him a photo of the breaker and describe hard resetingto ensure it wasn't something simple. I've handled extensive home electrical work so I knew exactly what he meant ...Apparently our attorney didn't! Lesson learned, attorneys don't know anything about electrical & Armes Electrical is professional, trustworthy & now added to the office call list. $200 emergency electrical would not have been a big deal for our office but it speaks to the work and professional ethics of Armes Electric that they took the time to eliminate the obvious.

I am over-the-top pleased with the work Pete and his team at Armes electric did on my house. I had a large amount of various jobs I needed them to tackle for me, and they did so with flying colors! A number of these jobs were quite challenging and required tenacity, ambition and good problem-solving skills, which Pete and his guys most definitely have. Pete, the owner, is an enthusiastic, quality guy who genuinely wants to please his customers. He is honest, reliable, detail-oriented and thorough, and will not consider the job complete until his customer is happy. Every man on his team has a great attitude and is hard-working, and they all seem to enjoy each other's company and work well together. I enjoyed having them all coming to work on my home (which lasted about 1.5 weeks) - how often can one say that about contractors?! Pete frequently visited the job site to see how the jobs were progressing and to ensure everything was being done correctly and according to my wishes. Pete and his team installed a lamp post, which Pete took painstaking efforts to make sure was completely level, and installed light fixtures on top of brick pilasters all around my yard, which included some difficult underground investigative work. They installed outdoor outlets, garage outlets, a light switch and outdoor light, and added a florescent wrap light to my garage. They also connected all garage lights to one light switch, making lighting up my garage much easier and more convenient. Pete also pointed out that my garage door had not been wired correctly by the previous homeowner, and brought the wiring up to code. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Armes Electric. I have already referred them to quite a few neighbors and friends, giving them the rave reviews they profoundly deserve. I will be sure to give Pete a call if/when I am in need of more electric work!

Danny and Aaron texted when they were 10 minutes out to advise that they were en route. They were coming to install a new ceiling fan. Upon arrival, they were courteous, friendly and professional. We went over the options for the size of the down rod and the placement of the remote control holder. They put down plastic to protect carpet and furniture. When they were finished, they vacuumed up any residual dust. From their arrival to the time I was making payment, it took about an hour and a half. It's only day one, but the fan looks to be well balanced and it works as expected. I am very happy with the work and their professionalism. I would use them again and I would recommend them to others. As for the price, it was on par with quotes I got from two other companies.

Pete, the owner, went out of his way to have his guys stop by on a very busy day. We had half a circuit not working for almost 2 months and complicated things a bit more ourselves. Jason and Juan figured out the issue in 5 minutes, then made sure the rest of the house was squared away. Armes Electric was top notch. They gave me good advice on the type of work I need and gave me several options that varied in price. They are straight-forward and care about their customers and their work. They pigtailed our entire house and rewired our garage to code. It was anxiety provoking, as the previous owners were flippers and there was some shoddy wiring. These guys are professional - on time and cleans up after their work. And they charge a fair price. Oh, and they are excellent communicators so you know exactly what you're paying for before they do the work. Their quote and invoice are electronic, which was also nice.

Armes Electric has completed four different jobs at our place--two ceiling fans, can lights in the living room, and a spot light for a picture. The work is done professionally; many of the electricians have been with the company for several years so there is no hit-and-miss guess work going on. I have never had a problem or complaint about the work or the workers. Today a fan was installed in a room that had no attic. I thought I would have to return the fan, but the men found a way to route the wires with minimal intrusion into the dry wall--which can be easily repaired. Every times Armes has been here, they are on time, efficient, and clean the area perfectly. There is not a speck of dust anywhere, even with holes cut into the ceiling. The men work quietly, politely, and unobtrusively. I am very happy with all aspects of working with Armes, from scheduling to completion.

More recently, I had all the air ducts cleaned by a company that specializes in duct cleaning. Unfortunately, they used a bathroom outlet and blew the circuits. I checked to see if any of the circuit breakers were in the off position and if the GFI switch had come out. No such luck. The next day I expected to call and pay for an electrician. I called Arnes and related the problem. Armes suggested I reset the circuit breakers. I had no idea what that meant or how to do it. Armes gave me easy instructions to follow (thankfully), which I did, and voila, the clock, hair dryer, electric toothbrush, etc. were back in running order. I could have spent at least $100 having some electrician come over and do that for me, but, as always, Armes considers its customers, and told me how to fix the problem and save me the time and money. We recently moved into a new home and wanted to install some new ceiling fans (8 of them). We bought the fans at the Trading Post in Huntington Beach and they recommended Armes Electric to do the install. We had problems in the past with fans wobbling and not working right so we wanted to be careful who installed them.
I called Armes Electric and discussed the installation. They were straight forward about their pricing (the information is also on their website) and seemed very knowledgeable. I set an appointment and on the agreed upon day 3 electricians arrived at the scheduled time and were ready to go. Their work was thorough and they spent time telling us about the install and the features of the fans. They showed up how the controls worked (wall switches) and had a great attention to detail.
We had one minor problem after the work was done. The electricians told us that the owner would be following up with us. We heard from the owner the next day and the problem was resolved immediately.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Armes Electric for any of our electrical needs. We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend them.

Armes Electric installed canned lighting and corrected 2 electrical problems with our home and I highly recommend this company. The team of electricians worked efficiently and completed the numerous items on the invoice in the same day. They protected the floors and walls with pads, tarps and plastic covering and cleaned up each room after they were done. Great experience from the time I called and requested ceiling fan installation to the time they left. Professional and polite, very knowledgeable. I showed one of the two guys a light fixture that had stopped working in our bathroom, and he wrote down what I needed to fix it and told me if I wanted to run to the hardware store and get the piece he needed, he would take care of it after the fan was installed. Sure enough, he fixed the problem after perfectly installing a new fan and wall switch. He charged me exactly what he said he would. I will use them again for sure.

Called Arms when we had some outlets stop working after a repipe. We had them wire switches to outlets as well. Instead of charging us for work that would take too long, they asked us to have us go through our plumber since it was his fault. Great experience with Armes electric. Needed two 240v outlets, a e-charger unit for a new electric car, and a non-GFCI outlet for a refrigerator installed in our garage. Called and emailed several electricians near Lake Forest, CA. Pete, the owner, was very responsive.

Communication was easy and fast. He beat every other estimate I received. We needed the job done as quickly as possible and he was able schedule us within a few days.

In terms of the work, everything turned out as we had discussed. He even added a hose reel and a special plug for our charger unit for free. Great knowing I've found a electrician I can trust and use in the future. Planning on referring him to a friend who needs some electrical work done. We had an excellent experience with Armes Electric. Our kitchen lights went out completely and the adjacent lights to the family room were also flickering. I called Armes yesterday after striking out with several other electricians who either could not come by for several work days or did not handle my type of repair job. Armes said they would try to fit me in either same day or next day. About two hours after I called Armes, one of their teams became available and stopped by within a half hour.

They were friendly, straightforward, efficient, capable and helpful. They not only fixed the switches that were causing my problem promptly but they replaced them with a better option, and fixed several other minor electrical tasks I ran by them, while offering several other helpful electrical suggestions. Very impressive and just what I was looking for. Reasonably priced for the work done and the great results. Thanks Armes!

Finally! These guys did a terrific job. They came ON TIME, made sure they protected my house, and cleaned up when they left. They noticed another ceiling fan I had in a box and asked if I wanted it installed. You bet. And they did it how I wanted it. Sound silly? Another electrician I called told me, You don't want a wall switch for that fan. A remote is better. Well, I do want a wall switch. Armes Electric was happy to do what I asked. They made sure I knew everything they were doing and are extremely customer service oriented. I'll be calling them again.

Outstanding! These guys came out late on a Friday to help with an electrical issue we had that caused our air conditioner to stop working right in the middle of the first heat wave of the summer. Spent the time to do the job the right way. They were very professional and courteous, going above and beyond. Worked past 6pm to get everything fixed, so we would have A/C for the weekend. Price was VERY fair, didn't charge me overtime, and I was thrilled with the service. Plan to have them back out to do some non-emergency work I've been putting off because I didn't know a good electrician....problem solved!

We had some extensive repairs done by Armes Electric Jason, Spencer and Ty did $2300 worth of repairs. They were great! They were booked solid but still made time for our repairs. They were professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced for the amount of work that needed to be done. We had double tapped wires, rat chewed wires and a sub panel that was a nightmare (and numerous other issues). They also installed 3 ceiling fans and 1 chandelier.

In Jan 2018 I used Armes to redo my entire apartment. They were on time and were well priced below other electrician for the same job. There were throughly professional and courteous. Happy with the job they did today, I called up Pete and told him that my front yard Christmas lights are out, not working. I was expecting the usual stuffs that you'd get with other companies, like they'd send their electrician to fix it. To my surprise, Pete was kind enough to walk me through my problem over the phone and explained that it was due to the heavy rain that caused the GFI to shut down. Then he told me how to get it back on. All this he did over telephone and it costed me nothing. He ended by saying that I was his customer and that's the service I'd get from him. That is really impressive. I felt like family. I've never met any one so honest and sincere like Pete. I would definitely use Armes for a long time.

They sent a couple of guys out the same day to fix my 25 yr old circuit breakers. But after a month or two, I had to call them back out and replace / upgrade my whole panel. We had had a lot of electrical changes these past few years and it was time to upgrade the panel. The owner called to let me know they were going to give me credit for the work they had done and sent out a couple guys and took care of us. they even set me up with someone to repair my stucco once they had finished. Definitely bookmarking them for any future work!

I checked with the HOA electrical company for my client's community, and they were unable to fix the lights. That company came out, and said they could not do it. I was really impressed with this company's business acumen- they provided a professional quote, delivered to the quote and when the crew showed up (on time!) they were friendly, clean, detailed and very customer service oriented. I had this company do the following: 1) install 3 ceiling fans (of which there was 1 install that required a fan box- they warned me ahead of time too that this could be the case, which would be an additional charge); 2) install an additional light switch, to make a 3 way switch (no damage to drywall!); 3) install 3 dimmer switches, 4) install 2 ceiling light fixtures; 5) install 3 updated smoke detectors; 6) install under the counter lighting. I've included pictures of 1 fan, under the counter lighting, and 1 light fixture for examples- everything was done professionally and on time. I'm ecstatic with the results! :)

This company was fantastic! I bought a light fixture from Home Depot intending to install it myself. I decided that I didn't want to deal with borrowing or renting a ladder tall enough to access a 15' ceiling. I requested a quote online and heard back from Armes very quickly. They showed up on time, completed the work quickly and professionally. The two electricians were extremely nice and helpful, giving me free advice about a dimmer switch that I might want to change out later. I would highly recommend Pete and his company for your electrical needs. My husband and I had a 2 page list of electrical updates to our home and included the lighting outside in the front yard as well. Pete came over and walked the property with my husband and then sent us a detailed bid with everything separated out so that we could pick and choose what we wanted done. He made some suggestions that I followed that were different than my initial vision and I am so happy that I listened to him. I called Armes to install my new ceiling fan. Everyone that I talked to about scheduling was responsive and very accommodating. I received a call from the owner when there was a problem with the time, and he quickly adjusted the schedule to meet our needs. Danny, assisted by Jerod, arrived on time and did a wonderful job. They were careful not to scratch my floors, thoroughly cleaned up including the wall around the switch they installed, and made sure I understood how to operate the fan. I have become accustomed to contractors neither calling back nor showing up if scheduled. Armes has been the exception. I have used them several times and today was no different. Johnathan and Ethan were right on time, friendly, courteous, and ready to get to work. After briefly explaining the fees they began the arduous tasks of installing two bathroom fans, where none had ever been, from within a very small space. Though it took them several hours everything looks great and works great including the cleanup. The fees are reasonable considering how much effort it would have taken to do the job myself. I bought 2 ceiling fans from the trading post and armes electric was recommended as an installer. They installed both fans and balanced them perfectly, installed canned lights in our dining room ,kitchen & hallway. just recently they installed low voltage lighting in our backyard and installed an outdoor ceiling fan. Pete even went with us to home depot to shop for needed supplies to save us about $100, great guy and staff. always respectful of your property and they clean up after themselves, you don't even know they were there. They even fixed a problem a prier electrician botched. Highly recommend them and we will always use them for any electrical needs we have.

Seriously, you know that feeling when you actually find a contractor that is not only technically fantastic but also honest?? Yes. That EXTREMELY rare sensation of knowing you can actually trust that they are only going to charge you for work that needs to be done and that they won't rip you off. Although I am reticent to recommend Armes because it will make it harder for me to get an appointment, they deserve all the business they can get.

Wow, these guys are good! I bought what is probably the only ceiling fan Trading Post doesn't carry but I went to Brian at Armes Electric to have it installed anyway. He answered all of my questions and set an appointment. Marcus and Steven showed up right on time with a very positive, friendly attitude. They had to assemble my fan first. No problem. Then, because my condo has no attic and no electricity above the light switches, they had to cut 6 small (4X 2) holes in the wall and ceiling to wire the fan. Again, after putting up protective tarps and plastic sheeting, no problem. Then they cleaned up and were done in 2 hours, total. Armes Electric's ceiling fan installation price sheet shows $350.00 for difficult jobs. I expected to pay much more because everything about this installation (12' ceiling, unfamiliar brand of fan, needed wiring up the wall and over to the peak) was difficult. They charged me $365.00 and referred me to a master drywall repairman. I was/am delighted.

I will use Armes for everything electric in my home and I recommend them to everyone very highly.

I had Armes Electric out for a problem regarding a GFI circuit. After some miscommunication and an attempt at fixing the problem, it was still there. I had already paid for a service call and a second discounted service call.

Pete Armes, himself, came to investigate and trouble shoot the problem. This service and the eventual work-around fix were done at no extra charge. Pete was most interested in culling my future business and wanted to go the extra distance to make sure I was happy. Great job!

Loved that they came on time. They came, went straight to work, and got it done. However I wished they had introduced themselves and communicated better. I didn't understand why two people needed to come and fix a ballast. Also, I had to ask why there was a delay with the other light fixture when I turned it on (they're suppose to come on at the same time). I would have preferred for the technicians to explain that part to me and demonstrated that it was fixed rather that me having to ask. Otherwise they did good work.

Initially I had called another electrician when a few light switches in my house randomly quit working and after 2 1/2 hours of unsuccessful troubleshooting I decided to give Armes a call. From the get go, I really felt like they cared about finding the problem and sure enough they found the source of the issue and were so professional and efficient I decided to give them more business. I had them install a few GFI outlets that day and redo some of the wiring up in my attic a different day to ensure that my house was up to code in preparation to put it up for sale. We love Armes Electric! My husband and I had a beautiful new ceiling fan and two ventilation fans, as well as some LED track lighting, that we wanted installed. All of the items were going to need wiring at the wall, and some were going to require accessing some very tight attic spaces. The owner, Pete, was friendly and professional, as was the woman who initially took my call. (I'm sorry. I don't remember her name.) Pete sent two of his techs, Mike and Jason, to our house, where they spent the majority of the day. Both men were prompt, professional, knowledgable, and very nice. They worked quickly and efficiently, and didn't make a mess. (A definite plus...) We were thrilled with the quality of their work and their reasonable rates, especially since we had TWO of them all day long. When they were done, we gave them a list of other electrical projects, big and small, that we have on the horizon. We asked them to give us estimates for each, and they promised to do so, a la carte, so we could see exactly how much each individual aspect of the jobs would be. This is a first rate company! I cannot recommend them enough. I needed to replace a can in our shower, which was a little tricky, but Jason and his assistant did the job. Also, I had outdoor lighting that was not functioning, and Jason showed me that I had a photocell timer that I didn't even know existed, tested everything, and helped me get all my outdoor lights functioning. They were efficient, professional, and came on Christmas Eve! We plan to call them when we upgrade our master bathroom to LED cans. Merry Christmas Armes Electric!

Just had Jason and Mike put in the wiring for our ceiling fan. They had to go between two floors, as there was no attic. Every other electrician we had bid the job, told us they would have to put additional holes in the ceiling to get the wiring to the source of the electricity. Jason said that might be the case, but, he said he would first search all other options, even going to an upstairs electrical source. Through their knowledge, skill level and perseverance, they found a way to tie the fan in to the electrical on our second floor, avoiding any holes in the ceiling (other than the ceiling fan itself). I consider this quite a feat and pretty darn awesome. They were on time, courteous, clean, efficient and vacuumed up the minimal dust they made. They made it a quick simple process. Would definitely refer these guys and would use Armes and refer Armes again. Excellent from beginning to end.
