I had lot of questions on how to install our first EV Wall Charger. I was looking for a qualified electrician, especially the one who knows what's he's doing. Unlike the other ones that I have called and set an appointment with, (ie corporate or small company that has long line of customers pushing you back a week or two; quite honestly it might not be true. Bayless Electric, with Scott, came to my family's rescue. We needed quick install, as we are not happy with charging rates out there; differs from city or town and third parties. It took Scott about 2 hrs, which was truly fast. He installed nice and clean looking, just lucky that it's directly behind our panel board; no long wires. Thank you Scott!

I had a power glitch like usual from wonderful Edison power. I reset the breakers for the entire house and it wouldn't reset one wall. I contacted Bayless and they helped me fix the breaker giving me a problem with that wall. I highly recommend and will use them again.

Very unprofessional. We were expecting a 5 star service instead we got a 1 star service. It was a back job, he said he'll come by at an agreed time and day to check - but no show, giving the usual excuse I got busy. That's fine but when he said that he will charge for a service call because he only give warranty on parts, that's when we decided to call an electric company and not go again with an independent electrician.
The electric company we called provides 1 year warranty on labor and parts. Careful with yelp, not all 5stars are really that good - this guy is a good example.

Scott is the best! I've used him for two different projects. The first was to install my Tesla home charger and it has worked perfect. Then I had him install a new light fixture in our nursery and install a ceiling fan in my office. He knocked it out in like an hour. He's was super punctual for both projects, which is something that is super important. Each project he literally showed up at the exact time we had scheduled.

I'll definitely be using him for my next project to upgrade our landscape lighting.

Yup, we recently joined the Tesla Movement. As I was waiting for the vehicle delivery, I decide to install a Level 2 NEMA 14-50 plug in advance. There were quite a few electricians to choose in Santa Clarita Valley, but I was so glad to find Scott. More often than not I found that 5 star reviews on Yelp were not reliable, but Scott was exactly how all the reviews had described. He was responsive, reasonable, and reliable. My electrical panel was completely full, so he needed to get a splitter to draw another line for the plug. He updated me as he was waiting for the splitter and scheduled the installation as soon as he received it. The installation was beautifully done and ready to go. After I got my Tesla delivered, I was in business charging my car every night! Thanks, Scott!!! You are the best! You know I will call you from now on whatever I need for all things electric!

This is a rating for something Scott didn't do...

About 1:30AM last night, the electricity through our entire house went a bit nuts. A/C just clicked, outlets on different circuits kept going in & out, computer would turn off & on, lights would get really dim than excessively bright and the coffee came out lukewarm.

I reached out to Bayless very early AM, hoping for an emergency appointment.

Scott let me know he was booked the whole week but still asked me what the trouble was, so I ran down all the issues for him.

He suggested I call Edison, prior to hiring an electrician.

So I called them and they came out within an hour.

Turns out a squirrel ate through the main line and burned it out. They replaced the whole thing and all is well.

Scott didn't have to take out the time and he certainly could have come by to make a quick few bucks, knowing he'd likely just recommend we call Edison.

This type of service is a real rarity and couldn't be more appreciated. I'll certainly be reaching out in the future for any needs.

Here's is a five star review for Bayless electric. Job consisted of running power from our home to the back of our patio area for an upcoming fountain, installing new floodlights including a ring camera, as well as a couple of pendant lights and a new fan on our patio.

The price was super competitive, and we are extremely happy with the install. Also installed was a switch to control all the lights outside, making it super easy to put on what we want and when. Thanks for the great work!

Scott is great!

Messaged him and told him my electrical issues. First, he tried to diagnose it over messages and have me attempt a few solutions. Unfortunately, those things did not fix the issue and he provided his next availability.

He came right on time and had my outdoor patio electrical working again. He had to come back a second time because there was one specific breaker part that he had to order. Came back the next day to finish the job and we are all good.

Price was reasonable and his estimate was spot on.

I asked for two different quotes for two different projects a few weeks apart and they never had availability that suited our needs, which happens. Out of courtesy, I told the owner that I was going with someone else who was able to work with our schedule and gave a virtual quote he replied Do me a favor and stop wasting my time. This is the second time you've done this. I assured him, he will not be getting of my business. I felt so disrespected. I have never scheduled anything, he does not have my phone number or address. If you can't provide quotes virtually, don't have that be an option through Yelp. If you aren't transparent with availability and willing to be work with customers, stop wasting their time.

With Summer approaching, CEILING FANS were needed in three of my rooms. Add to this, the exterior of the house was very plain, so I wanted to add CARRIAGE LIGHTING to the sides of the front of the home.

I agree with Scott's 100% 5-star reviews. We had an intermittent electrical gremlin that another electrician last year gave up on after 2 days of diagnosis. After the gremlin reappeared recently we called Scott to take a look. After a thorough diagnosis he found the issue and fixed it in under 4 hours - and it was not exactly an easy issue to find! He is very nice and pleasure to talk to. His schedule can get a bit busy due to all of these amazing Yelp reviews though. I will tell you that it was worth the wait to finally have a true professional fix the issue for good.

Sent a request for a quote out to 7 or 8 electricians for some work at our house. Some didn't respond, one just said he was booked (didn't even give them a timeframe for the work....?) but Scott was thoughtful and thorough. I was unsure what the actual problem was with one of our issues, so Scott walked me through diagnosing it. He also called GE to inquire about a replacement light for our fan without me having to ask. Tim called Scott after finding him on Yelp when we were selling our house - the buyers had requested for us to have a licensed electrician inspect our electrical panel, install a GFCI outlet and install a cover for an open slot in the panel.

All of these other five star reviews reflect our experience with this company - it was fantastic. Scott responded immediately - he was professional and easy to talk to about our issues - and he was able to come by late that same afternoon to evaluate the panel and see which parts were needed for the rest of the work. He wrote a letter the same afternoon to assure the buyers that there were no safety issues or things of concern with the panel - then he returned two days later to install the GFCI outlet and the slot cover.

Fast work and turnaround - it was wonderful that Scott could fit us in so quickly because we were under some time pressure to get this sorted out for the buyers. He was honest about what we needed and didn't need - his pricing for parts and labor was extremely reasonable. Excellent communication too and he even texted me a picture of the receipt a week or so later when I called him because we couldn't find the hard copy of it to provide to the buyers.

So nice on the phone, so nice to interact with him in person - he actually thanked ME for the work when I called about the pic of receipt and thanked him for taking such great care of us.

We've now moved to an apartment so we won't be responsible for/needing an electrician. I guess we are very fortunate that we needed no electrical work during the whole almost-four-years we lived in the house - - and we wouldn't have needed an electrician now if not for the buyers' requests ! - - but we feel incredibly lucky to have found this company and Scott.

Definitely our highest recommendation if you do need a professional electrician - we seriously could not be happier with our experiences with him !

Just got a Tesla Model 3 and needed a charger installed. Called few local electricians and out of all of them Scott sounded most knowledgeable and told me flat rate price after inspecting few pictures of my panel and location for the charger. Initially I was going to buy the costly $500 charger from Tesla but was told by Scott not to waste my money and just go with Nema 14-50 receptacle (I got Standard Range Battery which is only capable of 32 amps max). Scott was able to get me on the schedule fairly quick and showed up on time. The receptacle was installed quick and put to use shortly after. My Model 3 charges at 32/32 amps and actually gets 33 miles/hour consistently. I'm very happy with the end result and do recommend Bayless Electric for EV charger install or any other type of Electrical work.

I bought new new condo that had a stackable washer and Dryer. I wanted to get a standalone washer and dryer. The sales person didn't tell me that I had upgrade my circuit.My family was moving in and I needed to get this done ASAP and done the right way. I called Bayless Electric and Scott came over. Scott started working on it right away and we were in business! It's nice to know that there are still professional, and honest companies out there. The price was extremely reasonable.

Last night our outlet in the kitchen made a spark from where I plug in the conventional toaster oven . I was worried because the two other outlets nearby the sink were out of power too. So today my husband look for an electrician on Yelp and found Scott of Bayless Electric. He came over really quick and was able to figure out what happened (the old GCFI popped). He will recommend the best way to do and explained that the old GCFI that supposed to be protecting the outlets nearby the sink wasn't attached really good(I'm shocked). That's freaking dangerous! Good thing I wasn't using the sink during the time it happened. Probably, the former owner of our house just hired a shitty electrician. Anyways, you should always seek a professional/experts help especially if you have any electrical issue and I highly recommend Scott from Bayless Electric for their service is very reliable and reasonable price . I'm relieved and happy that everything went well . Thank you really appreciate it

Requested quotes for the installation of a 30amp waterproof RV outlet at my residence. Scott was the first to respond in a timely manner. He requested a picture of the plug to ensure the outlet to be delivered and installed was correct. Scott was friendly, courteous, professional and arrived on time for the scheduled appointment. I needed an EV charger installed outside of my house and reached out on a Friday. Scott picked up although he was out of town he took the time to discuss my situation and gave me a good idea cost wise of what it was going to cost. The price was right and soon after he quoted and soon after that he did the work.

If you look at my prior reviews I shower praise on vendors that go that extra mile. That do what they say and show up when they say. An extra added benefit is that he's a really down to earth nice guy. Kind of person that you'd sit and have a beer with (after he finished your job of course).

Scott was awesome! I requested for a quote late last night and he was the first one to reply... I was having issues with one of my breakers constantly tripping. So he had me send him a photo of my panel. He, then, gave me his rate and told me what the prices of the parts that would need to be replaced. He showed up this morning and fixed the issue. He even helped me fixed a separate issue I had with my outdoor outlet. This guy is a lifesaver and his prices are reasonable. Thank you Scott! Scott came out and quickly solved a problem that seemed like it took forever to solve. For 2 months we had been trying to figure out the connection between our 'missing' chime, transformer, and old doorbell all just so that we could install our Google Nest Hello video doorbell.
