I would leave zero stars if possible.
Called Jorge on a Tuesday after reading his yelp reviews. He tells me he's put me on the calendar for 9AM on Saturday and asks me to text him my address. I did, and even texted the night before to confirm. No show, no call...and Jorge has the nerve to be rude to me when I call him asking where he is 45 minutes after the time he agreed on. LAME and completely unprofessional.

I love to do business with downey plumbing. Santiago is very experienced and the top of the cream. Highly recommended!

Bryan, the owner, was able to troubleshoot my water heater problem and re-light the pilot when the gas company could not do the same!...

I've been stressing trying to find a good reliable plumber.
Long story short, my go to plumber who I usually hire to do minor things said my sewer lateral may be broken or cracked because they had to unclog the clean out and their drain snake got stuck. They recommend me find another plumber to get it fixed asap since he does not do sewer replacements. My plumber gave me a company name/info he knows that could do it and I was a bit relieved but... Unfortunately the recommended business has poor communication and I felt left in the dark. I was losing hope until I reached out to Luis at Excalibur. This is also why you should always get multiple quotes.

There was some minor yelp communication hiccup but Luis was able to follow up with an appointment. Luis even communicated with me after hours! Communication is key with a lot of business and if they have that, it is 5 stars in my book.

After scheduling an appointment for an estimate, Felix came out and ran a camera down the clean out. They found three areas that needed repair and my heart sank! The other businesses I reached out to didn't even bother to schedule an appointment around the time I am available so we can talk about options and what we should do. I reached out to Luis after Felix did the inspection and Luis sent me the proposal the next day highlighting what needs to be done and the cost. I paid what was quoted as well.

They are very honest about the options and they also will take care of the permits with the city so you don't have to worry about anything else. I asked if they could start the project on a certain day which they were very accommodating.

Felix came back out a week later to mark the lines and let me know their plans. The communication is amazing!

The day of the project, Luis and his team started around 8AM and they completed by 5PM. The city inspector came out to do the inspection before they completed the job. Once everything was inspected, they finished off by pouring the concrete. The current clean out I had is no longer usable and they installed a new clean out at near the bathroom. They noted that I wouldn't really need to worry about any more clogs because the entire sewer line is replaced. Which is honestly amazing.

I do recommend someone being home when they do the projects. Only downside is that you cannot use any plumbing while they work on the sewer like faucet, toilet, shower, etc... They needed access to some electrical and access to areas that are fenced/gated off.

If I have big plumbing jobs in the future, I would definitely use Excalibur again. Quick responses and very competitive pricing.

Jonathan did a great job with my 2 toilet replacements. I solicited several quotes and Advanced Mechanical Contractors responded quickly, provided a competitive quote, and had availability. My Long Beach condo building also uses Advanced Mechanical Contractors (AMC) as their go-to plumber.
I think all of the work was completed in less than 3.5 hours? We had some challenging space constraints to troubleshoot. Jonathan also got a helper to come and take the old toilets (and even the packaging and trash that the toilets were shipped in) - lots of trips from my 4th floor condo to their van outside. I would definitely recommend Jonathan and AMC for future work.

3rd time that I've had Isaac and his team help out with something at my house.. Every single time they respond right away, book an appointment as soon as possible, and provide excellent service and pricing! Love working with Twin Plumbing!

Kevin is so easy to work with and he's honest.  Kept his word on scheduling appointment with my tenant and his estimate held true at job completion.  He repaired loose electrical contact at my condo unit and courteously called me to explain everything when he finished.  He took my electronic payment which really makes managing a property so much more feasible and easy.  I will be calling him back in the future should I need further repairs.  Thx Kevin!

A Yelp email link referral connected me to this plumber. On a Fri afternoon in 2 hours he came by to clean out a plugged kitchen sink drain. It was caused by black sludge buildup 70 ft down the line. He cleaned it out and made a trip to a plumbing supplier to fix leaks in the plastic pipe. Very satisfied.

They sent a plumber out because we had two problems -- a toilet that was making a very loud and strange noise after it was flushed and a leaky faucet in the kitchen. I'm sorry I didn't get the plubmber's name, but we could not have been more satisfied with his work. He evaluated both problems, went out to buy the necessary parts, and returned and fixed the toilet, plus installed a new kitchen faucet (after I picked out the one I wanted). Very pleasant, efficient, and expert work. We will definitely call them again with for any plumbing problems that may arise.

These guys are great. Super professional, courteous and punctual. They replaced my water heater in record time and did a great job. I highly recommend them.

I was referred to Hollander by my wife's friend that had her home remodeled by him.  She said he did very good work and could work with our budget.  She was right and then some.  We are first time home owner and this was our first project.  Mark was very helpful and explained in detail our options and guided us in the right direction toward the design we were hoping for.  There was clearly set time lines throughout the project for work completion and payment.  All the times lines were met and everything went smoothly.  Mark took the time to design different options to fall with-in our budget and made the whole process easy.  Mark explained the differences and educated us on material options so we could decide what was best for us.  We are extremely happy with the way our bathroom came out and would recommend Mark to our friends and family for remodeling.  We have received a lot of compliments from our family and friends about our bathroom.

Very nice service. Both Anthony and Jose are very professional and knowledgeable. We had a leaking toilet. They identified and fixed the problem in quick secs. We also requested a full house plumbing inspection service. They inspected the house throughly and were able to explain everything in great detail. Would definitely recommend.

I reached out to Mulhearn plumbing after doing a bunch of research and comparing the rates for other services and I have to say hands down David at Mulhearn Plumbing was just amazingly fast, efficient, and very reasonal rates. He was very professional, wore a mask indoors the entire time because of the current pandemic and was very honest for how everything was priced. We needed two toilets that had issues flushing and a leaking kitchen faucet all replaced very quick! Will definitely be requesting any plumbing or install service again with them. Brett was awesome. He communicated well and showed up on time. Did an excellent job with replacing the wax ring on my toilet, and so fast getting it done. A lot of attention to the details. Pricing for the work was much less then what others wanted to charge me. I would use him again any day of the week.

Hired Joe to do all my drain several years ago for a multi unit property.  The drains had to be snaked several times over the past few years.  I always wondered why when I had the whole place repiped for the drain....  Had a drain leak in one of my units so had to get it repaired.  Found out the drain was never done so had to redo it!  Then had issue with the front house and found that the drain was not done either!  He only did the large drain along the side of the house so I can see he was working?
I am shocked and disappointed because I saw Joe as a friend!  He totally conned me!  Sad.
He even got a permit from the city!  I guess the city does not really check under the foundation!  I trusted him and did not go under the foundation to check either.  Might have peeked but what do I know about new drain and took his word for it.
Will never hire him again!
Now I'm stuck repiping the drain under the house again and paying for it the 2nd time.
I gave him 5 starts last time and realized how wrong I was now.
