Jim Aldahl Plumbing Service
Jim Aldahl was very fast and professional. One of my tenants had a damaged water heater. Jim got there the next day, called me with an estimate and got the job done all in the same day. I priced shopped to make sure i was not being taken advantage of, and his rate was as good as any or better.

Mejia's Plumbing Service Plumbing Service
Mejia's Plumbing Service replaced tubing that carried water to my ice box. Rene, owner also installed a small facet which will allow me to turn off the water supply to my refrigerator, if needed.  As soon as Rene completed the installation, I was able to drink water from the door of my refrigerator.  Additionally, after so many hours had pasted, my ice maker started making ice again.  I was very pleased with the excellent service of Mejia's Plumbing, in that, Rene presented himself professionally when interacting with me; he explained what he had to do to fix the problem; he completed the repair in a reasonable amount of time and he made sure that water flowed from the refrigerator prior to leaving.  If you are looking for a dependable and skilled plumber, I encourage you to contact the Mejia's Plumbing Company.  You won't be disappointed.

Mr Unger's Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling Plumbing Service
We worked with Dan for 2 bathroom remodel projects in our house in South City. After having a terrible experience with the contractor for our kitchen remodel, we were looking for someone new and were lucky to find Dan thanks to Yelp! We gave him a quick phone call on a Saturday morning, and before we knew it, we had an appointment with him at our house a few hours later. We were impressed with his responsiveness, which was already a good sign (and something that held true throughout the project).

At the start of the project, Dan sits down with you and goes over ideas on what you want to accomplish with your remodel project. He provides photos and brings sample materials, and he'll make suggestions on what he thinks are practical solutions. If you tell him what you want, he'll either figure out how to make it happen or explain why it's not a good idea, based on the structure/layout of the space.

Dan is very knowledgeable with building code and always plans projects with the goal of passing city inspections. If you are inclined to take shortcuts with your projects, you might as well move on because Dan is fastidious with his knowledge and application of city code. Rest assured your project will be done right and with integrity.

Dan has a lot of pride in the standard of work and customer service from his business, and he makes himself and his team accountable for the quality of work that they provide. From our experience, the team comes in early, works hard to stay on schedule and works an honest work day -- they come in and and out like clockwork, starting and ending consistently on a daily basis. Both of our projects were completed well ahead of our agreed upon schedule and the bathrooms look great. (As a reminder, once they're done, you'll still have the task of cleaning and wiping everything down to your standard before you can fully celebrate the completion of your remodel!)

There's no project that's perfect - we had a minor miscommunication with some accessories, but Dan was gracious enough to stay accountable and explained what our options were (and ultimately refunded us for the accessories we didn't use). We appreciated his candor and were more than willing to work with him to find a solution.

Bottom line, we liked working with Dan - he's easy to get in touch with (text/call), always follows up, stays accountable for his work, and completes work in a timely and professional manner.  We would consider going back to him for any future projects that we have for our house.

Smart Rooter & Plumbing Plumbing Service
I had a clogged pipe that impacted my kitchen sink, dishwasher and clothes washing machine. I called a plumber and after kind of being a jerk he told me to call a rooter company. I did. They scheduled and then told me they were overbooked and pushed the appointment. I called Smart Rooter in a desperate state. Guy came over in 15 minutes and 20 minutes later had totally solved my problem.

That was awesome.

Go Go Plumbing & Rooter Plumbing Service
Edward was referred to us by our contractor when we first moved into our house in 2008. That first year, we had to call him out twice for drain problems. By the second call, it was clear there were roots in the main pipe, so he installed a clean-out in the front yard, but didn't charge for other work.
Both times he showed up on time (or a little early). He's always very friendly and willing to answer our questions in depth, and his crew is courteous. They're very neat, which might sound like a funny compliment for plumbers. But we have polished hard wood floors throughout the house; no one on his crew has ever tromped in dirt or mud. Not even during the rooter visit when they spent most of a morning going between house and yard as they tried to power through tree roots without the beneficial angle of a clean-out.
In May 2013, we had him rooter throughout the whole house. He and his assistant explained everything they were doing. We learned enough that the next year, my husband rented an electric router from Home Depot and did it himself. :)
But the big finale, and the reason I'm finally getting around to writing this review, was last September's BIG PLUG UP. The bath clogged up out of the blue, with none of incrementally increasing slow draining that had previously heralded drain problems. I called Edward in the afternoon and made an appointment for the next morning. (When Edward is swamped, he  asks how urgent the problem is. In this case I couldn't in fairness claim our backed up tub was more urgent than the people who's toilet wasn't flushing.)
A camera run down our entire main line proved the problem was where our line meets the main sewer pipe. It was cool to watch the camera footage, and reassuring to see our clay pipe was in really good condition, considering its age and the size of the three 40-year-old maples surrounding it.
It was less cool to know repair costs were going to include digging up the street to get to the main line. (I don't know who pays for this type of work in a regular city with public roads, but we're on private roads and we each own our own section of road.) However, it was reassuring the Edward knew exactly what to do. He booked his crew for a whole day to jackhammer through the street, dig down to the pipes, and repair the problem.
In the meantime, I frantically Googled for Bee Whisperer as the crew would be working 4-5 feet away from two wild bee hives. (Kudos to Angel Powers for coming down to smoke the bees during the jack hammering stage.) Angel left when they stopped with the jack hammer. But the day kept getting hotter, the bees busier, and the hole deeper. Around noon, I noticed smoke coming from around the hole. Turns out the bees had stung one of the crew. He'd gone to the construction crew working next door, gotten a few pieces of discarded wood and started his own smoke fire. It was working great to keep the bees at bay. All in a plumber's days work! I don't think he'd even have told me if I hadn't and come out and asked.
When they finally dug out the connector between our main line and the city sewer line, they found a huge tree root jammed in at the join. Amazingly, the root was from a pine tree that had been removed the previous year. Edward rushed off to buy a new connector, and the whole job was done by about four, including the asphalt patch.
It's never fun to need plumbing work, but I'm glad I can count on Edward when we have a problem.

Clint replaced a gas line and a water line under pretty rugged conditions for us in April of 2016.  He showed up on time to give us a bid and and again to do the work a week later.  Although he ran into some unforeseen issues he was very fair, even generous, about the extra cost.  I have been in the trades all my life and I would recommend him as competent, hard working and honest.   Do yourself a favor - call him or keep his number.

CAREFUL: LONG STORY
9/30/20
My house smells like Gas after u worked on my water heater.

So they sent one of their technicians over and he gets to looking at my 10 year old water heater which needs a new Thermocoupler. I had two people give me a diagnosis for this (one of them being PG&E, who tested the electrical and found the thermocoupler to be weak). So the Plumbing Guys tech goes through diagnostics and first thing he tries doing is reigniting the heater since it has had an issue staying lit.
Tell me why this man is sitting here for five minutes acting like the igniter is broken, since he seemed so adamant that it's broken, I ask him if they can replace that too. He tells me it's connected to the whole assembly and to replace it, it would cost almost as much as a whole water heater and that I should just buy a water heater instead.
I told the man that PG&E just ignited it and he's not pressing it hard enough. So he keeps pretending to push the button like it's broken.
I told him to let me try it and it turns out he's not pushing it down all the way. At the bottom of the push, u have to push it past where the friction point is.

10/14/20 I've been waiting to write this review, i had it saved as a draft for these guys to redeem themselves but Long story short, they changed the thermocoupler and after a week of not being sure if I'm smelling a faint hint of gas , I began getting MIGRAINE headaches and losing all my energy. I realize there's a leak because when I go outside, my headache was gone and when I came back home it started again. That's when I started getting really worried it was leaking because I've never experienced headaches this bad in my life.
The technician came to fix the Thermocoupler but ended up leaving with it not screwed in properly and it caused a leak. I wanted to give these guys a better review but they didn't offer a refund or anything besides coming back to fix their mistake. At this point the damage was done and my head has been hurting ever since.
Who ever decides to use these people, make sure u document what they do and get your invoice. These guys tried to leave with out even giving me a receipt.

Pacific Drain & Rooter Service Plumbing Service
I couldn't possibly say enough great things about this company. They were prompt, courteous, clean, wore shoe covers and masks. I have 3 dogs and they had no problem calling 5 minutes ahead of time so I could secure them in the backyard.

My kitchen sink backed up today, I called at 1:30pm and they were here 2 hours later. My kitchen and laundry sink both needed help, and I was shown a hairline crack in my garbage disposal that needs replacing sooner than later.

It's clear that they operate from a place of honesty and high integrity, give them all your business!

Flush With Success Plumbing Plumbing Service
We were in the market to replace our old tank water heater with a tankless system. After almost a dozen bids that were sky high, Ken with Flush with Success came in at a reasonable price. He was also installing a better unit than the other contractors quoted.

Ken and his team were in and out within a day. With rain threatening, everything got installed with time to spare. He even went and matched some paint for us while he was out getting parts.

I would highly recommend Ken and his team and will definitely be using him again.

Called at 8:15 a.m. for a leak under the sink - they answered the phone! The truck was at my place by 2:40 p.m. and they gave me an estimate and fixed it in less than 20 minutes - no mess, no water on the floor - they even took the broken parts away. Price was good! Got a call later in the afternoon to make sure I was satisfied, and then a followup invoice via email showing I had paid. Very satiasfied customer.

Prodigy Plumbing Plumbing Service
Best Plumber Ever -- Call Him!

Mark fixed both our dishwasher and shower valve, improving the water flow. He did a great job.

Mark was punctual, very friendly, and professional. But best of all, he was cheap! I mean SERIOUSLY inexpensive.

In conclusion... if you don't call Prodigy, you're stupid. And who wants to be stupid?

Amazing Rooter Plumbing Service
One of my outdoor spigots started leaking over the weekend pretty badly, and they were able to come out and replace it first thing in the morning! Several other places said they were booked through the beginning of the week or I'd have to pay extra for an emergency service but these guys came out, gave it a quick look and had it fixed in 15 minutes! No hassle no tacked on fees!

Donald A. Williford of California Plumbing Service
A complete SCAM ARTIST!

My husband and I were purchasing a home and the previous home owner/Realitor hired Donald A. Williford to fix several things that were wrong with the septic during the negotiation when we were in the process of purchasing the home. Their were items reviewed that were supposed to have been fixed that were NOT. Shortly after the purchase of our home the plumbing completely backed up which should not have happened one year after moving in. We called him immediately but with no response we needed to take immediate action to get the septic pumped. This man did not perform the work that was supposed to have been completed prior to us moving in and continued to give us the run around after several phone calls and attempts to arrange a meeting. Without the slightest of a conversation to schedule an appointment, he went on to say his worker had already been to our house and looked over the issue in the front yard. Our septic is in the back yard. We were honestly kind of in shocked because most of the time professional companies will schedule an appointment before randomly showing up at your house when your still in the process of playing one sided phone tag. When we told him our septic was in the back yard he then told us his worker went in our back yard and looked at it there, we have two great big dogs, I am a housewife and am home pretty much everyday.  I'm pretty sure his worker didn't jump our fence and look at the septic they said was originally in the front yard without even knocking or letting us know that they would be coming to our home. We finally got in contact with the previous owners realitor because this was all completely out of our hands and nothing has been done. Because this man refused to right his wrongs and do things the correct and professional way we are now having to foot the bill. I am furious. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!
