After calling several plumbing services with a description of my situation, the typical response was a description of the trip charge, which ranged up to $180 and would be credited towards work done. I was not able to get a phone consultation let alone an estimate over the phone. That's when I came across Honest Sewer & Drain. They didn't have nearly 800 reviews like the $180 service, but what they did have was integrity. Their websites mentioned a free estimate and that is exactly what Dustin provided. He was professional, looked at the problem in my master shower and then did the one thing you might not expect. He candidly stated that he did not feel snaking the drain would resolve the odor issue with the master bath shower. He offered up several viable solutions and took his time to check that the P-Trap was not damaged or obstructed and that water was draining freely. To say that Dustin exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. He could have performed some basic drain services and charged me but instead offered me several solutions. I felt compelled to write a review for this business because of the professionalism and time Dustin expended on what would have been a $180 once and done visit from the other plumber I spoke to with the same end result. Honest Sewer & Drain has a customer for life, and I would strongly recommend Dustin's services to anyone in need of a professional plumber with integrity. You will not regret giving him a call. As one other customer mentioned in their review, if I could give him 10 stars on Yelp, I would do so!

Rob, from Airtech, came out right away to install our Nest doorbell. Great service and very informative. We plan on having him install another camera in the back, and we have given his name to several people who are also wanting security systems.  Thank you, Rob!

Fixpectation was great. Finished our vinyl flooring job in one day. Also did base boards for us. Good communication via yelp, showed up on time and got the job done professionally. Will be using again for other areas of the home. Thank you.

When our water heater exploded in the middle of the work day (and caused a lot of damage) we needed to replace our water heater quickly. The first bid, from a place which shall not be named, seemed way too expensive. We called Walt's and it was not only hundreds of dollars less for the same water heater, but he could come that day and install it. We were really happy with Walt's and would call them again for our plumbing needs.

If you choose to have them do major work for you, be sure you are crystal clear about the scope. Their estimate and even the permit filed said they would replace the piping from the main to the house with copper. I don't know about you, but I understand that to be the water main at the street to my house. Much to my surprise, they interpreted main to be the secondary shutoff outside the wall of the house going into the house....buyer beware. I went with this company because they were the least expensive. lessoned learned. you get what you pay for.

I very recently used Caldwell Construction to replace the dry rot on my house and paint the entire exterior. It took some time, but it was well worth it.                                                                                Steve, my field manager, kept on top of things as it progressed. He was always wanting to make sure I was pleased at each juncture and listened to any concerns or changes I wanted done.                           What was equally impressive was his crew, from the carpenters to the painters to the electrician. They listened to me. Steve and these fine workers kept me in the loop and updated me throughout the big job they had. I was totally impressed with Mike (the head painter) and his journeyman Tony. It was like they were painting their own home with extra little touches.                                                          Soon I will be doing a total kitchen remodel and you can bet your bottom dollar I will have them bid on this one. Quality matters, and Caldwell Construction knows how to make it just that.

Hey Artman, You Basically ripped us off.  So you are wrong. Also,  This owner keeps trying to make excuses about his bad workmanship and how his wife screwed up our order from the get go. Stop making excuses. I'm so tired of plumbers who don't know what they are doing and when you post an honest review, they get all offended. Accept that you don't know what you are doing and close your shop and stop ripping off people Artman!

To be clear I never had any service with  Valley Star Plumbing. I simply had them come out and give me a quote.

I am writing this review for the other women out there. The technician made me feel very much less than and at the end called me
sweetheart.

I am a 40 year old woman not a child.

I sent an email to the owner and I felt very dismissed from that email.  The owner missed the point. I am a capable woman who does not need to be treated or spoken to like I was born yesterday.  

The way their technician spoke to me and treated me was very much less than.  In the response the owner made excuses as to the intention of the plumber and stated As a professional plumber it is his responsibility to make sure you are aware of the complexities and potential risks involved in such tasks.  I had already given the technician my resume of all I had done and that I was more than capable and I knew what I was doing. I also gave my full resume to the owner as well in my email. Which did not seem to matter and was never acknowledged by the technician or the owner.

Here is the last part of the email which seems very corporate and not personal at all.

Lastly, I want to address the use of the term sweetheart by ***** when he left. I want to assure you that was completely unacceptable. I sincerely apologize for any offense caused by this remark.
