I just wanted to give a shout out to Santa Margarita Plumbing for helping me with my tankless water heater over New Year's. Of course, my water heater had to go out on New Year's Day when I had all my kids home and two extra guests (8 humans and 5 dogs) and no hot water.  

I had a tankless Noritz water heater from 2007 and on New Year's Day, it decided to not work.  Thankfully, it worked in the morning when I took my shower, but that afternoon, it stopped working.  

I got to work on Yelp, asking for a plumber to come out and take a look at it.  I was quoted everything from $120 to $195 just to come look and that would not go towards the repairs.  

I called 18 plumbing companies!  Thankfully, one of them was Santa Margarita Plumbing.  I spoke to Rolando (I think).  He said that their diagnostic fee was $65 and that would go towards any repair.  He explained that he didn't have technicians available that day (New Year's Day) but the supplier where they get the parts from would not be open anyway, so I'd still have to wait until the next day for the repair.  After I resigned to the fact that I would have to go the rest of the day without hot water, I booked Santa Margarita Plumbing to come between 8am and 10am the next day.  

The technician, Randy, arrived at 8:15 the next day and got started diagnosing the problem.  He found the broken part and contacted Noritz for the replacement part, but because the water heater was so old and discontinued, they didn't carry that part anymore, so it would have to be ordered, which would take two weeks.  My other option would be to buy a new water heater.  I did end up getting a new water heater because I didn't want to go two weeks without hot water.   And even if I did decide to order the parts, it would cost $850 to repair, when the replacement water heater cost $2,250.  

So long story short, Santa Margarita Plumbing has the lowest diagnostic fee and tankless water heaters sound like a good idea but they only last 10 years and they are expensive as heck.

I was in need of new drain pipes for my sink so I had called challis plumbing to come check it out first and they knew exactly how and what I needed so I hired them to come and fix my plumbing and they did it very fast and everything was easy going. I have not had a problem with my plumbing since so hats off to this company I will for sure hire them again if I have any more plumbing needs.

Perfect service: At a time when it's hard to busy plumbers to respond and show up, Danny was great about communication & logistics - and when he came over, he analyzed our problems, explained everything I needed to know, and got to work immediately; when it required a second trip to fix the last of our issues, it was easy to set that up. Danny was prompt, responsive, amenable, COVID-mindful and clearly a good guy all around - and the price wasn't exorbitant. I'd recommend this company and Danny in particular to anyone, anytime.

Had a drain clog on Saturday and got some quotes from different companies. Mike quickly responded and was able to set up a time to snake the drain on Sunday morning. Reliable and got the job done fast!!!

Recently our shower pipe was leaking & spreading into other walls - we found this company on yelp & gave them a call for a consultation. Iggy was able to come in almost immediately and was able to give us an estimate within a reasonable budget. Needless to say, he fixed the problem without leaving a mess like other plumbers in the area. Called them back for another issue with our boiler and also gave us a quick solution. They are now our go-to company for any plumbing issues!

One of our sinks was draining slowly.  Fabian inspected the main drain with his video camera.  He discovered some tree roots growing in the drain that were not causing the current problem but could easily grow to be a problem in the future.  He flushed the roots down the drain utilizing a high pressure water stream.  Fabian suggested that some point future we consider having the main drain lined to prevent root intrusions.  He gave us an estimate and didn't pressure us to have the work done now.  

He then determined that our current problem was caused by a very dirty sink trap.  Over time it had become so crusted with 'gunk' that it was causing the drain to run slowly.  Fabian tried to clean the trap, however, it was too crusted and he replaced the trap and solved the problem.

Fabian was very professional in dealing with our problem.  He operated very efficiently and I would call him back for any future plumbing problems.  He even suggested how to use the drains to minimize future problems.

Have you ever met an honest and reliable plumber? Today, I did. My morning coffee was met with puddles in the kitchen that traveled from the living room. Dialed up Jose at Galaxy Plumbing and by the afternoon Marcos showed up with an assistance. Marcos gave a thorough inspection without cutting the drywall and quoted me a number in which the end he actually met! Marcus did he best with the cuts and repairs and kept our place nice and CLEAN before he finished the job. While doing the work he took the time to carefully explain to me the problem and detailed out what he was going to do in addition to optional preventative measures. Within a few hours the job was done and Marcos was true to his word. Galaxy Plumbing was my hero!

My ancient AC system was wonky. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. I got a brand new system that may save me money, as it's a much more efficient unit than the one I had. I could have saved a few bucks having a friend install one, but I'm certain I wouldn't have gotten the value I got from Absolute Airflow. Isaias, Jose, and Josh did a great job. The extra effort they put in to improve the supporting structure was worth much more than I could have saved from another AC installer. Money we'll spent. When they finished I did a happy dance. It's good you didn't see that.

After hearing from a neighbor how impressed she was with the work OC Repipes had done for her;  we read in yelp that the company had received only 5 star ratings.  Very impressed, we hired them to repipe our home before an upcoming remodel project.  We found owner Andy, and project manager Slavi to be personable, and very competent.  We have a 2200 sq. ft. two story home.  They completed all the work in two days.
This included all of the Pex A repiping, drywall repair and texturing.  While cutting our dry wall, they had a vacuum system connected to their cutting machine.  Dust was held to a minimum.  They took care to cover where appropriate.  We would highly recommend this company.

We had wet carpet at the doorjamb to the hall bath. No water on the tile in the bathroom, just on the carpet under the jam, and we are on a slab. It didn't make sense to me, so we called our plumber, Ton'y's Plumbing. I explain the problem to Angie, and how we cannot find any water leaking anywhere and she says you need to call Josh at Rapid Quality Leak Detection. I was a bit concerned because I did hear from him that day, but found out he was really, really busy. We talked the next day and set up a date for him to come out with his leak detecting gear. After using all the leak detecting toys, no leak was found, but Josh hung in like a true professional and by turning of toilets, he finally determined that the toilet was the culprit, not the sink, not the shower. He said there was most likely a leak in the wax toilet fitting (there was) and that Tony's Plumbing would handle that. They did and it's all done now and we are happy. But it all started with Josh, and Angie, and thank goodness we didn't have to break concrete or rip out tile! Crisis averted. Thanks Josh.
