The owner of Rancho Heating and Air Plumbing, Jesus Gonzalez (Jesse) has been working in the Orange County, CA area for 18 years now. Jesse first started off in Santa Margarita Plumbing located in Rancho Santa Margarita CA and worked there as a manager for 16 years. Jesse worked with plumbing and HVAC for residential and commercial areas, as well. In March 17, 2017 Jesse received his C-20(HVAC) and C-36(Plumbing) license from CSLB (#1024860) and received his EPA certification. Rancho Heating & Air is a family owned business who cares and puts their customer's first. We choose to provide our customers with the best quality service and give the most reasonable prices. Our technicians will make sure to provide a great customer service. We make sure to give our customer's fair prices and we always stick to our beginning price.

Lowes installed a sink and failed to reconnect the water, so they told me to find a plumber and they would reimburse me. Rancho Heating and Air Plumbing answered the phone immediately and the plumber came within 30 minutes, exactly when they said. Because Lowes not picking up the phone he was forced to wait around for an extra 20 minutes and he was patient and pleasant even though I was wasting him time. He didn't put anything extra on the bill for the wasted time even though he could have. And he reconnected the things below the sink in a better way than they had been before, which he explained and I sort of understood it. The thing that stood out were the professional and conscientious demeanor of the plumber. It was a simple job but I get the feeling that he could have handled even the most challenging job. All in all it was an amazing experience from Rancho Heating and Air Plumbing and I will certainly call on them the next time I have a heating or plumbing need.
Great service! Had a water leak behind one of our bathroom walls and Rancho Plumbing came to the rescue. From phone call to leak detection to completely fixed, only took a couple hours!

Jesse is so great. He's respectful, punctual and does great work. He's great for plumbing issues and checking out your AC. We've had him out 3 or 4 times and had great experiences every time. Recommend.
Jesse arrived at our home the morning after an evening call. Prompt, immaculate service, fair and had all parts and supplies with him - even something that was unexpected. So happy to find an HONEST LOCAL plumber!
We had a mistake with some of what Rancho did earlier. Jesse is a very kind man - he came and fixed it and didn't even charge for it although it is not his fault. Hard to get good people like Jesse.

We had installed a new ac system a couple of years ago with a different company. It felt as though things weren't as cool as they should be and in cold weather we were freezing in our master bed and bath, while other rooms were too hot.
We knew the ducting was old original to the home built in 1983.
We had Jesse here for inspection. We wanted to add additional vent to our master as well.
We decided to replace all ducting in the attic, as well as add a box with baffle controls to adjust flow to each room.
He was on time, communicated well, did the job in record time. Left with all old material hauled away.
I would highly recommend using his company. And he has done work for a family member who had a water heater installed.
Rare to find someone who is reliable, honest and fair with pricing. Looking forward to the money we will save on our bills now that it's not leaking out the attic!!
Tried to fix a leaky shower myself...what a mistake! I made the leak worse and had to shut the water off to the entire house.
I called Rancho Heating & Air/Plumbing to schedule an emergency service call. Jesse was super quick and responsive and got my shower working again! Great service at a fair price.
I am soooo ecstatic about finding these guys. I had 3 bids, they came the lowest in price (compared to one bid they were almost half the price ) and the service was phenomenal. My furnace died and Jesse noticed that my water heater had a huge leak going that I didn't even realize ... he replaced both for me right away. He worked around my handyman's schedule to get the base built back up. They were so good , I can't express it enough. So nice and amazing. Thank you Jesse!!
Jesse did a great job with my furnace and AC system replacement. Got competitive quotes for installation of high quality brands of equivalent SEER rating (Trane/Lennox) and he came in low and gave me good advice without trying to up sell during his in home visit. First of all, I can not say thank Jesse enough for always being reliable and for always fixing everything (central heating and plumbing) that has broken this past year. We've had many problems in our house these past 2 years and Jesse always comes to the rescue. He is always on time, fixes everything the first time, and his prices are reasonable. He explains things to us in a simple manner which makes it easy to understand. Jesse always puts as at ease and never lets us down. Very pleased. Replaced a kitchen faucet. I got estimates from other plumbers (including those recommened by Angi), but ended up paying way less than what they quoted. Will be my go to plumber from now on.

They installed two toilets. They did a great job. They also removed the old toilets and the considerable amount of packaging from the new ones, all at a very reasonable price. One of my toilet seat covers was damaged during shipping, and they even offered to come back to install the new one when I received it (I was able to install that myself, but thanks anyway!). They also explained some things about a new flange and the flushing mechanism. Overall, very happy with their work and friendliness. I will no doubt use Rancho Heating and Air Plumbing services in the future.

Jesse just installed a soft starter (EasyStart 368) on my AC to prolong the life of my compressor.
Jesse came out and replaced out tankless water heater and did a phenomenal job at a reasonable price.
A few months later our shower's hot water wasn't working well so we called them up and Jesse came out the next day. Turned out my shower head needed to get cleaned out due to the hard water buildup. He didn't charge me a dime, he just stopped by on one of his routes because he truly cared.

We had flooding in our laundry room about 3 AM. In the morning I reached out to Rancho and they responded within a few minutes. Within 40 minutes they were on the job. Ruben came out and was friendly, efficient, and knew his job well. Problem solved within 15 minutes. Rancho is our new go to plumbing company and we would recommend to anyone.

While the business is relatively new, Jesse is far from new to the business and our area. We have known him for over 10 years and he has handled several plumbing issues for us. We trust his knowledge and he does great work. We strongly recommend Jesse and his company for your plumbing, heating, and air needs.
Hire this company and you'll see what it has all the 5-star ratings. Jesse was quick, did great work, and was fairly priced. My initial call was answered by a human (no press this...press that), the scheduling call came literally minutes later, with a price quote and arrival time. He was here when he said, did the job quickly, and everything was back to normal before we could get stressed about it all. Couldn't ask for more!!

Rancho Heating and Air Plumbing technicians are very professional and knowledgeable on plumbing and heating matters. I have called them on several occasions to replace toilets, repair leaks, install faucet and repair my heating system. I was very pleased each time I called. Their timely response, their correct diagnosis and the repairs they performed always left me satisfied. In addition, they always left the area they were working clean, removing all worn out or damaged items and cleaning surfaces of all grime. At first they quote you a price agreed upon. Then they find other things that need to be fixed. If they have to go and pick up a part, they will charge at least $25. It's not straight forward and it's shady. I will never have them to my home again. Watch out.

I had them come to look at our AC unit that just wasn't working as well as it should. They were honest and reasonably priced and I didn't feel like he was trying sell me on anything more than the service our unit needed. I would use them again and I recommend their service as his knowledge and price was on point.

Amazing company to work with. Jesse showed up on time and was clean and upfront about what the job required to be done in a timely manner. We recently had the house renovated and Jesse went the extra mile to put gloves on so he wouldn't leave hand prints on the ceiling when he needed to get into our attic. We had a nest thermostat installed and he did an amazing job. We will definitely recommend him to other people needing any HVAC work

I sent messages to a handful of company's requesting info for our broken heater. Jessy was available to take a look at it that same day and at no cost. He got the part he needed and the next day everything was fixed. His communication was great, his price was reasonable, and he was very professional. We will absolutely contact him again if we have any heater/ac/plumbing issues.
Had a great experience with Jesse today - my 1st time with this company. AC stopped blowing cold air yesterday afternoon and I tried all the things the Internet suggested but still no good. I called Rancho around 1:45pm on a Saturday and some one actually picked up and told me they could come over between 3-4 a perfect! Jesse was very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer my many questions. He diagnosed the problem quickly and I was back up and running with cold air in about an hour, and at a reasonable price as well. I would call him again if I had another issue. Thank you Jesse!

I was very impressed that I received an answer within 10 minutes! They came over to our house the same day and gave us a fair quote! they were very straight forward with the prices and came back the next day, ON time and did the job, perfectly!! All we can say is, Wow! Our AC died late Saturday afternoon (during a heatwave). We called over half a dozen companies and said they couldn't come out until Friday! Jesse came out the next morning (Sunday). He quickly identified the problem, replaced the broken part, and our AC was back in business in about five minutes. We HIGHLY recommend Jesse and wish him the best of luck with his new business.
I have a 30 year old AC unit that failed. On my first attempt I called another company who didn't even bother coming out and said I probably should just replace it at this point. Second attempt, I called up Rancho Heating and Air and scheduled an appointment with Jesse the same morning. Upon arrival, Jesse was able to determine that the fan motor had gone bad within 15 minutes. He said that the replacement motor was in stock and scheduled to be back for the installation the following day. Jesse arrived as scheduled the following day and got the motor installed quickly and even went beyond to troubleshoot and repair some other wiring issues.
No upselling or gimmicks. He gets you up and running fast for a very fair price like the good old days. This business is a true and honest which is hard to find these days. Highly recommended. Thank you Jesse!

Rancho Heating team went above and beyond to help my project. I texted them Sunday 10pm, Monday 11am they were at my doorstep, 2pm they brought the new water and Monday 4pm I had hot water back on. Same day complete tankless water heater replacement. Thanks Ruben!!
Jesse runs a family business that has integrity. His prices for professional services are very fair. He was on time as promised and did not try to over-sell or up-sell something that wasn't needed.
I choose Rancho Heating and Air because they were fast to respond and had a reasonable diagnostic fee.
There was a weird glitch with my Nest thermostat and after hours later, the same day Jesse came back to correct the problem. The problem went away by itself but Jesse was very kind to provide top class customer service. He returned to make sure all was working correctly 100%.

The blower was making noise but after a quick fix the unit started to make noise. Jesse made sure the problem was really fixed. Blower motor replaced.

Discovered a water heater leak in our garage on a Saturday morning. Called Rancho, and they arrived in twenty minutes. They completed the repair in 45 minutes, and were right on budget. Great work, great service, and truly professional!!

Great and reliable service! I had some small job to move the gas line that goes to the kitchen range. Jesse arrived first time to provide estimates. We scheduled our appointment in 1week. I am 100% satisfied with the service.
I waited days for my warranty claim to reach a company to fix my a/c. Finally gave up and called several local a/c companies who couldn't come for days. I called Rancho Heating and spoke with Ana who contacted Jesse in 10 minutes. Jesse came over within 30 minutes and fixed my problem--bad part needed replacement. I found them to be fast and responsive. Came on time and finished the job in good time. Needed the kitchen faucet to be replaced and they did a good job.
Great experience. Arrived on time, did a very thorough job unclogging a sink line, careful and considerate of property, cleaned up well after, reasonable price. Will definitely use them on future jobs.
I cannot recommend Jesse and Rancho Heating and Air highly enough. We originally called Jesse last October as our heater was not working the last time we ran it (early 2018). When Jesse came it was working fine so no work was needed. He didn't charge for the visit which was appreciated. Then 2019 came and the unit was again not working. Jesse came out and diagnosed the main PCB as the culprit. He provided a quote to replace the board and a quote for an entire new unit. We ended replacing the unit which was a total cost of $2600. Jesse and Hector was very professional, clean and finished the job in one day. Will definitely call him in the future if any plumbing issues come up!
I don't give 5 stars very easily. I was very impressed with the service from the entire team at Rancho Heating and Air Plumbing. After a week of remodeling, our bathroom cabinets came in and our old plumbing didn't align with the new layout. Emergency, not really, but we had no sinks. Called at 2:25pm to see if there was a slim chance we could get it done today. Others were closed for the weekend and most didn't have time until next week. We are very close to their office and on his way back to wrap up his busy day, Jesse was kind enough to stop to give an estimate. He took a look at the situation and gave a very fair price. I asked if he could do it today and he agreed. My wife is very happy. Happy wife happy life. It is 5:40 right now and he left 25 minutes ago. So in less than three hours he was able to solve my problem and did it with a smile on his face. At least his eyes smiled, he and his assistant wore a mask the entire time. Great service from the start to the finish. His assistant on the phone was prompt in returning calls and it resulted in a great plumbing experience. He is coming back next week to install the sinks. I am pretty handy and planned to do it, but he and his staff earned the business. Great job Jesse and staff. My contractor may be calling you for future business. Keep up the great work!

Jessie and his team (Ruben and Juan) took care of all 4 projects we needed done in a timely and efficient manner. Arrived on time in the morning, done by Noon. Excellent job of cleanup and addressing unforeseen issues. Made sure I had a chance to visually inspect their work and displayed the old parts before adding to the rubbish pile.
What was impressive was his quick assessment of the tasks when he came to visit and prep an estimate. He was reassuring in what needed to be done and how he would go about doing it.
Keeping their number on my contacts list for future projects.
Jesse came to our house today to unclog a drain in our shower, he was on time and very courteous to my wife. He was able to get the drain unclogged quickly and for a very reasonable cost. We would be happy to use him again and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest HVAC and plumbing person.

Jesse was very responsive when I was looking for a quote for my shower project. He was able to send somebody over the same day at a competitive rate. Ruben was our technician, and he was very professional. He was able to fix our problems promptly.

Great value. I was saving up to replace my 21 year old Lennox a/c for next summer, but Rancho's price was so good that I was able to do it right away and upgrade to a Trane as well.
Jesse has been doing air and heating for more than 16 years. He did a nice clean job and the unit was up and running in a day and a half. Unit is very quiet.
DAY 1, Estimate, visit #1 (unable to access because someone parked at the street drain), visit #2, both backyard drains unclogged and cleaned.
DAY 2, WAIT, there was no Day 2! It was all done in ONE day.

We had a slab leak in the garage and after the insurance co's plumber came out, we had Ruben come out for a 2nd opinion. Not only did he find a different leak they were less expensive. Both Jessy and Ruben are amazing and highly recommend them for any plumbing issues you have.

This was my third time calling Jesse for help, this time for a new/different house. The AC hadn't been working well in my son's room for 2 months. I had a different company come out through home warranty and tell me I needed all new ducts and that there wasn't anything wrong with the bedroom specifically. Warranty doesn't cover duct work. It didn't sit well with me because last summer we didn't have this problem with that bedroom, so I called Jesse and explained the situation and he was available to come by that afternoon to take a look, at no charge for the visit. He found a disconnected duct in the attic, in about 3 minutes. He was able to complete the repair right away, at a reasonable cost (especially compared to new ducts) and we now have cold air blowing into the room once again. I cannot believe the other company botched the job so poorly. Wish I had called Jesse to begin with and skipped the warranty claim. Highly recommend his service!

Don't look any further than Rancho Heating, Air, Plumbing for your needs. They were awesome. We had our home inspection show multiple items needing to be repaired or replaced. Jesse and his nephew Carlos did an amazing job. They completed the following items:
Installed a water heater expansion tank.
Installed 11 angle stops and water flexes
Fixed main water service and hose bib
Fixed an upside down water heater sediment trap installed incorrectly by a previous handyman.
Installed a furnace sediment trap and connected flue-vent
Installed a water overflow safety switch
Replaced the AC disconnect box
They are both great, kind, and knowledgeable guys who explained everything try did. I'm so happy i found them.
AC and Heat nor fan would turn on. Called Rancho plumbing and same day 3pm Jesse shows.. in 15 minutes diagnoses and find transformer bad. Swaps it out and a new thermostat.
Used Yelp to request quotes from several companies. Jesse was able to accommodate my schedule and provided fair and reasonable pricing. He and Carlos came and handled three repiping jobs quickly and professionally. Jesse clearly explained what he and Carlos were doing - it was clear that he has a lot of experience and knowledge. I will definitely reach out to him again for future plumbing jobs.
AWESOME COMPANY! This is the second time I've used Rancho Heating, Air & Plumbing and I couldn't be happier! My first experience was for a small job in my kitchen, and this was a big one! We replaced our entire Heating & Air System with a new Trane Unit (two zones). As with my last experience, Jesse and his team were outstanding! In addition to doing a fantastic job, they were reasonably priced, highly professional, careful (always used tarps, plastic and shoe covers, and cleaned up nicely each day), on time each morning, polite and completed the job in the exact time frame and for the amount that they quoted me. They also went the extra mile by installing drip pans with automatic shut off sensors for each furnace in the attic in case of any leaks (without them would potentially be a ceiling/drywall disaster), they made sure that all of my duct work was checked and up to par and paid careful attention to every other aspect of the job to assure that it was done as well as possible! In addition, without me even needing to ask (but with my approval first), Jesse took the initiative to carefully relocate two underground sprinkler pipes and connecting heads that would have been buried under the two new compressors! Again, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rancho Heating, Air & Plumbing for any job, big or small! I have now found a wonderful company for these types of services that I'll use indefinitely! I was referred to Jesse and his company by a friend and I'm very glad that I called! He showed up on time, was very knowledgeable, and his prices were reasonable too. My leaky tub was fixed and had a new chrome faucet installed in less than 2 hours.
If I have another plumbing issue, I will be calling Jesse again!

I called Rancho Heating and Air Plumbing with a slab leak under my kitchen floor.
I met with Jesse who used some cool tools to not only detect where the leak was at, but also to find multiple water pipes within the walls to determine the best way to repair the issue.
Jesse was able to reroute a new line to my cold kitchen water with a much shorter path than a previous company had recommended. This saved me a lot of money in multiple ways and I'm grateful to Jesse for explaining it to me. It saved money with a shorter run for the new plumbing so, less material. This resulted in less new holes cut into my drywall and less labor for Jesse. Most plumbers don't repair or repaint the drywall but this resulted in a lot less repair to be made and again said me additional money.
Thanks Jesse, I would certainly recommend and use your company again!

We are doing a complete remodel with a month left before expecting a baby and our original contractors could not provide their plumber within our timeline. Jesse and Ruben were available immediately and converted our plumbing from tub to shower as needed. They helped us pivot from what was originally a center drain to a trough drain, replaced the corroded pipes, and increased the height of our shower. They were honest, well priced, and dependable. Highly recommend!
