As a child, Brendan was extremely good with his hands. He could fix anything! This love of making things work again was channeled into plumbing in Brendan's early '20s. His training took him to extensive code coursework at the Plumbing Heating & Cooling Contractors Association PHCC) as well as on-the-job training with the county's best plumbers.

For several years, Brendan has longed to run his own business -- one that would provide even better, more affordable services than Orange County's best. With great service comes great growth. I booked an appointment with Sage Plumbers after a few weeks of getting frustrated with my Home Warranty not covering kitchen faucet leak repair in my contract, yet still charging a service fee of $75 for their assigned contractor to come out and tell me that it was not covered under my plan.
Today, Brandon from Sage came to my house during the one-hour window that had been promised. He called thirty minutes prior to his arrival. He was very courteous, wore a mask (pandemic time!), took off his shoes before entering my house and quickly jumped to fix it. It took him about 15 minutes to open up the faucet and re-secured it. Since it is a minor task, he refused to charge me anything, even after my numerous attempts to compensate him with something. He noticed my dishwasher air gap was loosened and tightened it for me without being asked. This is a man who really cares about his job and provides a service that is above and beyond to his customers. I don't really know what else to say but to highly recommend this company, especially Brandon, to anybody who may need plumbing services for their house.

Great company, had a bathroom sink leak which wasn't urgent. Found SAGE Plumbers on Yelp with great reviews and gave them a call. My husband explained the issue, made appointment and 2 days later Alex showed up on time. Alex was professional and knowledge, assessed the situation and got to work. Brendan is awesome, I'm so glad I went with Sage Plumbers. We just bought a place in Irvine and moved in a month ago. We wanted to change out the faucets (they were original, 35 years old), and had to change some of the angle stops/pipes. I contacted a bunch of plumbers through Yelp to get quotes. Some didn't respond, others said they couldn't do the job. Since there are quite a few plumbing companies who have a really high number of reviews on Yelp, I thought I'd go with one of those bigger companies, but of the ones who wrote me back - either they said they'd call me and didn't, or said they'd send a tech out to provide an estimate and had to keep rescheduling. Brendan, however, responded very quickly to my message and provided a cost estimate range of what I was looking at. He was able to come out within the same week with his partner, Alex. They were on time, very courteous and worked non-stop to get the job done. Since our house is older, there was a lot of rust on the sinks and pipes which made their job harder, but they worked with extra care and took their time to do the job right. Moving to a new place, it's always hard to find reliable repairmen, so I'm so thankful I found Brendan. I will definitely be calling him again for any future plumbing needs. Highly recommend!

We had an under the sink water filter that was making a constant filling and draining sound. It would start out with a lot of water pressure then fade down to a dribble. I was going to buy a new water filter, but a friend of mine suggested I give Sage plumbing a try before replacing it. Brendan brought a new water tank for it and an attachment. When he turned the old tank over, he discovered it had an attachment for an air pump. He pumped it with air and the water now flows out like it did when it was new. We didn't need the new tank after all. He took it back saving me the cost for a new tank. Also the faucet has been loose ever since it was installed by another plumber. He tightened it up for us. It works better than it has in months. Very happy with Brendan and Sage plumbing.

Sage Plumbers! The best in Irvine and South OC!

We were blessed to find Sage Plumbers, who called back after hours, and scheduled next morning to look at the situation, after two other large companies had bid very costly repair. I felt immediate relief in talking with Brendan, who brought in Alex next for diagnosis of a complex leak situation. Great communication, comprehensive suggestions to repair, with quick, professional online, and very reasonable, quality estimate.

Sage Plumbers tireless work was above and beyond our expectations. They saved us thousands vs other bids. I owe Sage so much more than they charged me, and will think of them first for all my future needs.

I used Sage Plumbers to fix a shower/tub valve. I've done my own plumbing work, but didn't really want to touch this one myself. I was thoroughly impressed with Brendan's attention to detail and honesty. He explained the problem, what the quick (and more expensive) fix that other plumbers often do, and then what he recommended. I chose his route, especially since the estimate was very reasonable. Brendan was pleasant to work with and nicely cleaned up the area when he was done. The new valve and shower dial work great. I highly recommend Brendan!

This review is LONG OVERDUE.

Brendan and Alex have done so much work for me over the past year at my current home and rental property in Tustin and there is a reason why I keep calling them back.

They installed a freestanding tub, put in all new shower fixtures, installed a farmhouse sink and kitchen faucet, three toilets, I could go on and on... all with perfection and they always go above and beyond what they promise.

Can't say enough good things about them. If addition to their work being so clean and then always being on time, they are just nice people and I love supporting young entrepreneurs like them. They are doing it the right way.

Thanks guys for everything and you'll most likely be hearing from me soon to change out the final supply line valves in the house that are corroded before they leak haha.

Brendan was amazing!!! He came out and gave a free estimate for installing a new gas line in our kitchen remodel. He did a very careful investigation of what needed to be done to make sure we got it right. There were some tricky elements and these were no problem. His estimate was better than any other ones I had gotten and he was, by far, the most impressive person My tenant and I were both very impressed with him. In addition, he has a quality that every plumber needs...the ability to tell you that everything is going to work out and be okay. Just before he came to do the job today, water leaked from the upstairs into the kitchen and he assured me they would figure out and solve that problem before anything got damaged. And he did!

He was flexible with me in coordinating with other contractors which was great; I received a text reminder the day before and he showed up on time and got everything done and set me a great update!

I highly recommend Brendan because of his character and his calming influence and he did great work! I hope I don't need a plumber anytime soon, but if I do, I know who to call.

Second review!

Brendan just wrapped up a 2-day job at my home. He installed a water softener and ran the drain line across the garage and tapped into the wall to access the laundry drain. He was really creative with finding the drain and turned a big problem into a very elegant solution.

He was also able to remove a 20-year old pressure tank that was just sitting in the corner of the garage, up by the ceiling. He also rerouted the drain for our existing tankless water heater as it was staining the outside stucco. This also ended up flowing to the same laundry drain after he installed a pump to push it out.

Finally, he installed a reverse osmosis water filter and faucet in our kitchen.

While the product recommendations and spot-on installation are one thing...he also patiently explained the initialization process for each device as well as helped me download the app that the manufacturer uses to update the software. When did plumbing get so technical?

He also helped to diagnose a simple problem that I can fix on my own...that had just stumped me.

The guy is very creative with his problem solving and I'm just wholly impressed by the entire process. Thanks again Brendan!

Brendan and Alex are great! We woke up Friday morning to water on the floor of the downstairs bathroom that had come up through the shower drain, which hadn't been used in a long time. That usually means a blockage in the main sewer line. After making a couple of calls, I was able to reach Brendan. Thankfully he and Alex were able to come out a few hours later that same morning. After a couple of hours of hard work using some creative techniques, they were able to clear the palm tree roots that had blocked the main line. The fee was very reasonable, everything was cleaned up nice and neat, and we couldn't be happier with the results. These guys really know their stuff!

MORE THAN A PLUMBER. Brendan, owner of Sage Plumbers, is fabulous. He installed 2 bathroom vanities for my 85 year old Mother, and did everything from pick up the vanities at Home Depot to tearing out the old ones and completely installing the new ones. He and Alex were lifesavers. He also fixed an upstairs shower leak into a downstairs tub, recommended a great contractor to patch the drywall, and everything went smoothly. Prices are very reasonable and fair. If there is an upside to having a plumbing problem, it is knowing Sage Plumbers. Definitely will use him for any plumbing issues in the future.

Very happy with Brendans work. Our tank water heater needed replacing and we decided to go tankless. I had several different plumbers out to give recommendations and quotes.
Brendans quote was right in the middle but he actually provided the most reasonable price for the particular brand and type of water heater. He was also the only one who mentioned available rebates for changing to tankless.
He was meticulous and really took the time to do a very thorough and clean job. Also had him come and do some other minor work...again he was able to fix what a previous plumber wasnt able to. Would definitely recommend for any plumbing need!

I just had Brendan of Sage Plumbers over here to check the water pressure and 2 small other things. When I got ready to pay him, I was amazed to hear him say that there would be no charge!! Who else have you ever heard of who didn't even charge a service charge?!! He said the job was so small that he didn't feel it necessary to even charge his minimum fee for coming out. They dispatched Nathan to my house within the hour. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. The price was more than fair. I had a sudden pinhole leak in a copper pipe that was soaking my garage ceiling and wall. Sage reacted quickly and they sent someone out to help as fast as they could.

Nathan was on time and professional. The cause of the problem was hard to locate because the actual leak was pretty far from where the bulge in the ceiling was dripping.

Nathan was able to track it down and fix it. He seemed very honest and the pricing seemed reasonable. I'd highly recommend these guys and will absolutely use them again for any plumbing job.

In a nutshell, don't hesitate to call them first...Honest, on time, clean and super nice people.
I was fortunate to have called Sage plumbers when I was unable to get the hot water to work in one of my bathrooms. I called Sage Plumbers and talked to the owner Brandon, he was attentive and listened to my problem carefully. I was able to get a same day appointment with him and his associate, Alex. Throughout the course of the day, Brandon would send me texts on my appointment time and also to let me know the exact time of their arrival.
While at the house, they had shoe covers on before entering the house. Brandon was so honest in describing the problem of why the hot water was not coming on in my guest bathroom (for me not knowing any thing about plumbing, I am so, so thankful for his honesty). He indicated it was a valve that the contractors did not adjust properly when changing out the shower during my recent renovation. Brandon was also kind to agreed to check on the other bathroom shower and proceeded to adjust the valve as well. His price was so reasonable as he only charged me for a service call, Brandon indicated that this was something minor and glad that he can fix it without much trouble.
I am so thankful to have found Brandon and Sage Plumbers, his name is now listed on my phone as my go to for any plumbing issues. I will also gladly share his contact with any of my family and friends who has plumbing needs.

For the second time in two months Sage Plumbers have completed work at my house. The first time to change out a toilet and just today to replace a shower/tub valve and trim. What started out as a pretty basic job became more involved due to unforeseen leaking behind the wall. I appreciated their walking me through what the issues were and the fixes.

Absolutely amazing experience. These guys came to work at my old condo house and fixed a lot of issues. They were courteous, polite and fairly priced. The work they did was top notch. As good as it gets! I received a thorough inspection from Brendan on my toilets, sinks, showers, water heater, and water pressure. He identified a couple of ticking time bombs that would eventually have led to a flood if not caught soon enough. Fixed and replaced the hoses on the spot. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and on time.

Highly recommended! A small inspection today can save you plenty in the future.

I just had such a nice experience that I had to share it! Our garbage disposal died and it was up to me to find a plumber to replace it. I looked up several companies and decided that Sage plumbers sounded good.

Nathan showed up right on time. He was professional, knowledgeable and did a great job. He even pointed out a small imperfection that the last installer did incorrectly and took a second to remedy it. Wow! Who does that anymore? Not only did Nathan do a great job with the repair but he wanted it to be perfect.

We had two problems. A leak in a shower and and smelly toilet. I called, they answered right away and booked an appointment for the next day. Nathan called and confirmed the time he would be there. He reviewed the leak problem with me and gave me suggestions on how to handle it. It confirmed what I thought needed to be done. For the smelly toilet, he found that it was set incorrectly, was close to leaking through the ceiling, was not caulked and generally installed wrong. He also found the water valve was about to come off, and if it did, would have had a 1/2 pipe spouting water on a 2nd level. He took some pictures to share with me and it was very evident what was wrong. He fixed the problem right away and I'm confident I won't have to call for a while. If I do have a problem in the future, would 100% call Sage! When I sorted by highest average review, they were at the top of the list and I can see why. Finding someone you can trust is hard. I would totally trust these guys. They will give you an honest quote and do a job they stand behind!

We learned from the gas company that we had a gas leak on our property. We reached out to three plumbers for quotes and proceeded with Sage because 1) Brendan took the time to explain his recommendations to us; 2) Brendan came up with a creative solution that minimized the need to dig up some landscaping and also saved us money; 3) he was clearly well versed in local code requirements and safety, and 4) pricing was fair. While Brendan was doing the work, he noticed a venting issue in our attic and he fixed it for us at no extra cost. Not really sure what more we could ask for. Super nice guy who does great work. He was also professional and courteous with regards to pandemic precautions. We would definitely hire him again.

Please read this! Sage plumbers were amazing from start to finish. They showed up to my home on time and gave me a quote on the work. Not only was the quote fair based on the work but, it's just what I needed. When they came to do tHe work they were so professional and respectful and explained every detail of the work. Sage Plumbers comes through again. There's never a good time to be without hot water, let alone during a shelter-in-place order for Covid-19 but Sage plumbers was extremely responsive and able to visit same day to diagnose what my Youtube searches could not - I needed to replace my tank less water heater. Brendan's explanation of the calcium buildup choking off the tubes in the tank heater made perfect sense as to why we'd been experiencing intermittent hot water problems for a long period of time. Replacing a tank less heater can be costly and a big job but based on my previous experience with Sage Plumbers it was assuring to know the job would be well done and fairly priced and I would not have to worry about being gouged as I had been in the past. It was a full day's job and the replacement tank less system was more efficient, compact and not an eye-sore like the last unit. The system worked great after it was all hooked up but as is often the case, some sediment that had come off the pipes during installation settled overnight prompting a follow up visit from Brendan the next day to re-inspect faucets and shower heads and clean them out so the water pressure was as it should be. Finally, Brendan gave me a great tip to use Vinegar to clean the water spots and calcium buildup off the pour spout style bathroom faucets which has worked amazingly well and quickly considering how much build up there was. First class!

We had a jammed garbage disposal (REAL jammed!), so after trawling through plumbers online and reading horror stories, I settled on Sage Plumbers - they were fantastic! Got an appointment first thing the following morning, I received a courtesy call to let me know they were on their way, Brendan & Alex were polite and efficient, and also managed to salvage my garbage disposal (and give it a full clean/service whilst they were at it!) I highly recommend Sage Plumbers. Alex was very professional and a pleasure to do business with. He came in and looked over the situation, told me what needed to be done and gave me a very resonable bid. We had been without a downstairs toilet for almost a week thanks to the overpriced work of another plumber after we had had wood floor replaced from a toilet leak. Alex also redid faucets that our previous plumber had installed improperly. One the stoppers leaked on one and on the other the handle was not on properly. Alex fixed everything perfectly. He was also very neat...he even wore booties over his shoes. This is a young company that has only been open a year. He spoke highly of his boss which was refreshing and went out of his way to be pleasant with the customer and do good work. As he left he said, We want to be your plumber for the rest of your life.

We had roots infiltrate the pipes under ground. Brendan came and power cut through the garage slab and fixed the pipe in less than one day.
Sage is the only plumbing company that I will use and they are great.

I reached out to Sage Plumbers along with 5 other plumbers, and they were by far the most responsive, helpful and reasonable. Brendan and Alex worked hard replacing our kitchen sink + faucet, and did an AMAZING job. I would highly recommend these guys, and definitely coming back for all future services.

We had a root clogging one of our toilets and called about 4 companies. Some had ridiculous quotes and some were reasonable. We ended up going with Sage plumbers and boy it was one of the best experiences with plumbers I ever had.

Nathan came out, looked at the problem, immediately told me what he suggested I do and answered all of my questions in a nice and professional manner. I don't remember all of the details as this was a couple months ago but he was the most professional out of everyone I called.

Most plumbers are in a hurry to get the job over with, but Nathan treated every step of the job with care. He even cleaned the space sealed between the toilet and the floor because he said I would never be able to access that area. He didn't have to, but I was very impressed that he cared so much about his customers.

Saw the reviews on Yelp and had a relatively small job that Brandon gave me a ballpark price as his minimum. He showed up a couple minutes late but called to tell us he would be a few minutes late-really appreciated that. The small job turned out to be a larger job and Brandon stuck with it and finished the job despite some unforeseen obstacles.
Polite, clean, professional-and the price was what he had quoted even though he spent more time than he thought he would. Thanks Brandon!

Great Service,
We had a pipe leak and Brenden & Alex took care of it replaced with a new copper pipe, very knowledgeable quick & clean, they are a fantastic team, they constantly cleaned the area as they worked.

Best Plumbers Around!
Pricing Very Reasonable

We will be calling on them again if there is a plumbing issue in the future.
Definitely, when we need to replace our water heater they will be getting a call from us.
