Best Electricians in California

My West LA condo building is managed by Vines Management (now acquired by LB Property Management), who chose Mike Castro at South Bay Electric as our building's electrician over 10 years ago.  We've used Mike multiple times.  He installed exterior motion sensor safety lighting around the building, repaired exhaust fans in our corridors, and repaired fluorescent fixtures in our garage.  Thankfully, we don't have an excessive number of electrical problems so we don't have to call Mike a lot, but he's been reliable, pleasant, and professional every time.  He always makes time for our needs.

I highly recommend Mike's Electric Company. Mike and his partner replaced the recess lighting, ceiling lights and fire detectors in my home. I could not be happier with their work. They are also both  really nice gentlemen which made for an excellent service experience. I will be using this company for my future electrical needs.

Joe from Accurate Electrical Services was awesome! Besides being professional, knowledgeable & courteous, he fixed our landscape lighting, installed a transformer & GFI plug in a flash. This is my first time using Accurate Electrical Services & I have to say I was extremely pleased & would call them again for any electrical needs!

The air conditioner went out over the Labor Day weekend of all days.  Contacted Jay (electrician) first thing Tuesday morning 10am he responded instantly as if we were in a live chat room. morning.  I scheduled for 1pm same day.  He showed up, on time, clean-cut appearance.  Replaced circuit breakers and he even went out of his way to check why air conditioner wasn't turning on too when he could've simply said,

I have 4 dogs, 2 parrots, 2 birds so you can imagine the relief they felt when the house started cooling down.  WoWzaa!

Bought 2 mounts from a different source and tried to install myself. Over the course of 6 hours, I found each to be defective. Ordered a new one and called Big Ben to install the mount and the 60 inch TV I just bought. I couldn't be more pleased with their fast response time and catering to my needs. They got the mount up within 48 hours of me calling, and spent less than an hour at my place (despite never seeing my specific mount before) because they were pros. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to screw it up on their own like I would have (as it turns out, the studs in my walls were throwing off my stud detector).

I had a wonderful experience with this company. Angel came out with his assistant Sergio the same day I called him. Angel had my problem solved within minutes. He was on time, professional, personable (Sergio, as well) and very reasonable. Give Angel a call...you will be happy you did... seriously!!

Half of my house was out of power when I got home from vacation. I called Powerhouse, they came out in 10 minutes, and helped me figure out what was going on. They didn't even charge me because it was a quick job on the way to their next appointment!!

I didn't end up using The Electrician but in providing an estimate virtually he was very thorough and asked good questions. He was also responsive with my questions and provided some good tips as well.

Next time I have a project for an electrician I know where to start no need for all the flurry of quotes that come when you start a project on Yelp.

I've had the pleasure of working with Paul over the past five or six years...he's great at what he does. LICENSED and always a good/fair price. Not only has he worked on my own home on multiple occasions, I trust his work so much that I refer him to my clients... And believe me, anyone who's ever referred anybody to their own clients knows the potential headaches that could happen - but I've always had a great experience with Paul, and so have my clients! I had Rich come out, same day, to look at an outdoor electrical outlet to the pool pump which stopped working. He worked the problem efficiently and completely within an hour. Very knowledgeable. Left me in a much safer position with his work. Will hire Rich again when the time comes.

I found JIMZ Electric on Yelp.  I had a small odd job (cutting unused cable wires hanging loose around my home and staple some neatly, remove an old satellite dish and old cable box off wall...all looked very messy.  I preferred to hire an electrician to ensure working live wires weren't cut.  I was glad Victor was willing to take on the small job.  He came out to look at job and provided a reasonable and affordable estimate and did the work the same day.  Victor and his co-worker are very professional, friendly, and pleasant to talk to.  The outside of my house now looks so neat and I'm very satisfied with their work.  Victor is also very knowledgeable and advised of a safety issue with the newer electrical panel which I was not aware of.   It's too bad I didn't take before photos but trust that it's now very neat.  I highly recommend Victor and will keep his number for future need.  Thank you Victor and his co-worker!!

I would highly recommend Eric for any time of electrical job. He's going to be my go to guy for my next few jobs. I got referred to Eric by a friend and he sure didn't let me down. Very efficient and professional. I needed a job done asap and he didn't hesitate. Got it done fast and clean. One of the cleanest electrical panel installs I've seen!

100% will have AMG back for other projects! Our home owners warranty assigned us the absolute worst electricians. After 2 failed attempts to properly install a ceiling fan (which they wanted to charge us for) I contacted AMG. Alejandro and his crew came over on short notice, were super polite, and got the job done professionally and at a fair price.

We bought a home that needed some work. We had an electrician come out right when we moved in to fix somethings and replace some outlets..we thought that went well but over the past 2 months it all broke again.

We called EL  yesterday. They came out TODAY.  They were on time and fixed everything for us in less than 2 hours. I am impressed.

Responded quickly to my initial request for a quote.  Arrived before the time promised and fixed the issue.   Courteous and professional.  I would definitely recommend

Very impressive, reasonably priced. Fast and clean installation of 4 4inch recessed lighting with dimmer.  Excellent work. I will definitely use this company again. Highly recommend.
