Since we moved to our home Jason from Romano Electric has been the 4th electrician to do work on our house.  We have had such bad luck in the past that we went to Yelp to find Jason.  Jason from Romano Electric has really turned my thoughts to such a positive way in this field, thank you Yelp.  Everything he has done for us has been really thought out.  When working in the attic he laid all the wiring between the ceiling framing so I was able to lay down plywood and use my attic for storage.  Jason has put in can lights in 4 rooms and troubleshooted several rooms that had wiring problems..  All of his work is neat and he really takes care on how he walks through the house with his tool belt.  It's amazing how many contractors smack your furniture or door wood trim with their tool belt.  Jason has so many  electrical projects still to do at our house, he is the only one I feel comfortable to do them and do it right.

After seeking several estimates from other electricians to install an EV wall charger, I decided to go with Min with MK. He was very professional right from the start. The questions he asked to help come up with his estimate made me feel like he's very experienced electrician. The quality of his work was top notch he had everything he needed right in his trunk. There was no need to run to local supply store. I would definitely recommend MK for all your electrical needs. He extended the run across my garage to where I wanted it with new conduit and 6 gauge wire on 60 amp breaker.

Our outlet needed to be changed out and the new one didn't work after we tried to install it ourselves. This outlet ran our oven and microwave. We need it fixed and fast. Jeremy from Croff came out quick and fixed it in about 15 minutes. Was also the best price from those that we reached out to via yelp. No price gouging and came in on a Sunday. Did a great job!

We hired Roc electric to install a 240v outlet in our garage for our EV charger. Fernando was quick to respond and provided excellent service. I called & gentleman was polite over the phone. Scheduled an appt. Made sure to be home eventhough I had errands to run. He never showed or called. Very unprofessional.

These guys are great, friendly, knowledgable and fair. Norberto showed up and was on it. We were looking at an entirely new panel but he spent a bit more time troubleshooting and found a better and much more cost effective resolution.. I'd give them a call without hesitation.

Not only do we love our electric car, we LOVE not using gas even more. The only thing is that the best way to get the most out of it is to get the charger installed in your home and that can be a bit of a project between the permit and the city and the DWT. Even though if it's residential you can do the installation yourself but DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and get an electrician who knows what they're doing and has delt with all the entities already.
My only misgiving about Tim and T3 is that I didn't know him when we rebuilt our home because no one else is allowed to touch our electric anything anymore! He is absolutely the most honest, hardworking, and professional contractor we have used for anything. And he knows all about the electric chargers and has a great relationship with the city permit folks.

I shopped around and I decided to use Ryan Electric because they came up with the best price quote as well as the most detailed estimate. They were Professional from the beginning to the end of the job. The owner and head electrician Robert made sure to lay drop cloths down so there was no cleanup, when drilling the wall was needed. They are  a family run business that gets the job done with great attention to even the smallest of details.

Much like the other reviews, I had Boris and Jason come over for a job, to install a pair of patio heaters. They were unbelievably thorough in determining if my electrical set-up would work, helped me find a part I needed, gave me a great quote and then spent an entire day getting the job done right. They were courteous and considerate throughout, and intent on making me a happy customer. Consider it mission accomplished!

We started having some electrical issues before this last heat wave, but when it continued to get worse I knew I had to find an experienced electrician. Martin responded quickly and gave me a date and time for early the next week which was perfect. He arrived promptly and immediately found the circuit breakers to be older than I realized and replaced them. He was also agreeable to redoing all of the labeling of the circuit breakers which is time consuming and detailed when done correctly. I felt so fortunate to have found Martin. His expertise is high level  - he is also a mechanical engineer - and he and his assistant were professional and kind. I would recommend Martin/MR Electric  as the level of service is top notch.

Be really careful I have a contract informing me at they was supposed to install five smoke detectors and they installed one, they are not returning my phone calls

I purchased an new Electric Vehicle and wanted to add a Level 2 240 Volt charger in my garage.  They were very helpful for the entire process that was new to me.  The helped me complete the LADWP Rebate application and obtain the required building permit.  I cannot say if they were the least expensive, but based on estimated costs of installation on various websites for EV, they were in the ballpark.  Their communication, service and work were excellent.  They make the entire process simple.  I would highly recommend.

Adrian was prompt and on time for both the estimate and the work that was done.  

We upgraded wiring, adding three 220 volt circuits to my home, including one for a tankless water heater (3 40 amp double pole circuits).  He and his crew completed the work in about 5 hours, and did very good work.

His final price was less than the original quote.  I recommend Adrian for any electrical work you may have in your house, office or business.

I needed some outlets installed and wanted to make sure hey were done right, so my requirements were

Licensed, available and recommended (yelp).

When I searched on Yelp, there's the options they give you to send it to other business and I believe that was what happened. Out of the 8 people that it went out to, Enrique was the most responsive.

I worked with a lot of people recently because I had to get a lot of housework done and it is so important for people to be professional and responsive.

Enrique was always on time, letting me know when he was about to come and if he was late he would text me, which I really appreciated.

In an Asian household, no shoes. He was very accommodating and if he had to be in and out a lot, he laid down a cloth pathway so that my floors wouldn't dirty.

After the work was done, he showed me everything, cleaned everything up, and gave me a receipt.

He has a hand assistant who was also very polite, Jonny.

Ballard Electric is a wonderfully knowledgeable, honest, skilled and efficient electrical contractor. We have a house in Thousand Oaks that we are in the process of selling, are currently in escrow on. The escrow hit a snag when the buyers inspector insisted that the original 2 pronged outlets, non grounded plugs were not safe. Some local electrical contractors we got bids from saw the desperation of our situation and tried to take advantage of us, proposed ridiculously expensive, cumbersome solutions. One wanted to tear out the drywall and re-wire the entire house for 10-15k over 7-10 days! There was no way we were doing this and the sale appeared to be in jeopardy. Others were similarly predatory with inflated prices.
Don Ballard to the rescue! He came over within a couple of days of calling him and had a much better, safer, cost effective solution for our original 1960's wiring and 2 pronged plugs.
He proposed replacing the 2 pronged plugs with new 3 pronged GFI receptacles. His men are very knowledgeable, skilled and efficient as well. They advised us to have them put the GFI's at the level of each plug and not at the circuit breaker, which is against code. They did not leave any messes and were polite and communicated well. It took 2 men about half of a day for time and materials.
When they were done the electric was updated and up to code, inspection issues were resolved and escrow is now moving forward. An elegant  solution that is.simple, affordable and highly effective. Refreshingly old school honest, skilled craftsmen for a fair price.
