Called Orlando on Monday (on a non emergency basis) and he came out to the house the following day.  Orlando showed up promptly and took the extra time to diagnose the problem and remedy the situation.  I found him to be very meticulous and, he even took the time to explain what he was doing at each turn.  If you need an honest and highly skilled electrician, give Orlando and this wonderful family business a call.  I will definitely be using them for future electrical upgrades.

Our smoke detector/co2 started beeping at night, due to a low battery.
We had no idea how to stop the beeping.  It had been a rough day for us and as seniors, we were very stressed.  Thank goodness we found Modern Electric at 8:30 in the evening!  He instructed us how to disconnect via the telephone.  So incredibly honest.  It was a Godsend.

Jason installed a sub panel in my garage to run my new air compressor and future circuts for a well pump. Along with a heavy duty plug for my welding machine.  I was in the dog house with my wife untill he added a really great light over the laundy.  This kind of attention to detail is what makes a professional.  ( and saved my butt ) Thanks again Jason........

Jeremy was prompt and efficient. He showed up masked and followed Covid protocols for safety. He figured out the problem and went above and beyond to make sure he got it fixed. I plan to use him for all my electrical needs. I'm a Realtor, so I know how hard it is to find good contractors. This one is a keeper!

I called Roc Electric due to an emergency type electrical issue/power outage at my parents' house on a very hot evening. The AC was one of the things that went out, which was not good for my folks with health issues. I briefly explained the issue to Fernando on his voicemail message; he called me back right away, & I further explained the urgent nature of the call. Despite it being late/going home time, Fernando stated he'd be at the house within an hour. Guess who showed up promptly within the hour, as promised (when many other places/people weren't able to come out because it was too late)?...Fernando from Roc Electric showed up, clean & ready to investigate & fix the timely issue, helping us out in our time of need! Fernando got to business quickly, while still being patient with my folks, which I appreciate. He fixed the issue, offering additional helpful advice on how to prevent issues in the future. He even personally helped move their microwave to a better outlet to help ease the present electrical suck, which was super helpful. Fernando offered helpful advice. He could have upsold a bunch of things or inflated his price, but he didn't. He was aware and conscious of budget for my folks. Kudos to him for that for not being a predator upon older folks with health issues. He got their power working again, including the AC. Thank you, Fernando with Roc Electric!

OUTSTANDING...5 stars isn't enough!!! Responded quickly, came to our home and gave an estimate the same day. Extremely fair price compared to quotes I received from other local electricians. Scheduled appt for the next day. Reported for appt on time and did an excellent job installing our hanging pendant light on a 18 ft ceiling. Israel and his assistant were very friendly, courteous, and conscientious. I would DEFINITELY hire for any electrical projects. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The Handylectric team has performed multiple jobs at my house and each one was flawless. Most recently, they upgraded my electrical panel and also installed new conduit and wiring for an offset riser on the corner of my house. The project was a pretty serious one because the previous owners of my home had done electrical work that wasn't up to code, causing me a lot of stress. But the Handylectric team fixed those mistakes. The job was done efficiently and with high quality, and now I feel much more secure in my home. I would definitely recommend them and will be calling them again if I ever need additional work at my house.

We found Tim on Yelp and he was everything everyone said he would be! We've had several bad experiences when trying to hire a contractor. Tim was on time, he was efficient, reasonable, and friendly. He was conscious of our home and property and has great artistic ideas. We will  hire him again and again!

Highly recommend Ryan Electric. Have been shopping around for a reliable and reasonably priced electrician to upgrade the vintage 1959 electrical panel that was only able to receive 100 amps. Modern homes easily use more than 100 amps. In addition, the 2016 added electrical subpanel with AC, microwave, furnace fan, and garage all on one 50 amp caused the circuit breaker to trip repeatedly. Ryan Electric gave us a quote, which we accepted. They advised us to call SCE to have work approved and meter unlocked prior to the appointment date. Work began about 2.5 weeks later and was completed in about one day except for stucco patch having to wait until the city inspector signed off on the upgrade. SCE came a few days later and locked up the meter. In addition, SCE changed out the roof power connections to SCE-approved connectors at no cost. It took a total of 7 days from start of demolition to SCE locking up the meter. Actual work was completed mostly in 8 hours. During the entire process, Ryan Electric was responsive to emails, texts, and calls. They handled pulling the permit and scheduling for post work. Outside of the initial contact with SCE to approve upgrade and unlocking meter, we really had nothing else to do. Ryan Electric does a great job of cleaning up their job site leaving it better than it was. I'd hire Ryan Electric again without any reservations.

Boris and Jason showed up on time to install a 220 in my garage for my EV vehicle. They did quick research on what was needed for the charger and installed under 2 hours for a great price. Made sure it was working properly and gave me further recommendations if I wanted to upgrade and already installed the wiring so it would be easier. Super nice and knowledgeable! Highly recommend!!!

I've been trying to hire an electrician for weeks to install (1) a dedicated 240V line, (2) a second/dedicated EV meter/panel (which is not the norm), (3) EV Charging Station and (4) upgrade my existing panel so I can charge my electric vehicle at home.  I contacted about four different electricians and most were responsive, but Martín was extremely responsive and extremely pleasant/nice.  I called Martín in the evening and he provided me with an extremely fair and reasonable estimate by the next day.  (He didn't try to sell me on extra things, he was very honest).  Martín's work was very clean and he did a very professional job.  Martín was easy to work with and he was very responsive to all my requests and needs.  The communication was excellent.  Actually, he went above and beyond the call of duty and he made an extra effort to ensure that all of the necessary requirements and documents were in order including pulling the right permits and making multiple trips and calls to the City regarding the permits (keep in mind this is fairly new, installing two meters, so it took a couple attempts with the city until we were all on the same page). Martín was very patient during this entire process and he kept me in the loop and he ALWAYS made himself available to call/meet with the City Inspectors and Southern California Edison.  Also, he did a good job working with my schedule.  Without his support and dedication to this job, I still would be looking for an electrician.  EV and charging stations are fairly new, and if I had to do it all over again, Martín would be the first person I would call.  If I have any other electrical work to be done, I would call Martín.

Really excellent service from Mike and his team. They upgraded the service and main panel, installed an EV charge point and had the whole thing approved and done in a few days. Excellent!

I purchased an new Electric Vehicle and wanted to add a Level 2 240 Volt charger in my garage.  They were very helpful for the entire process that was new to me.  The helped me complete the LADWP Rebate application and obtain the required building permit.  I cannot say if they were the least expensive, but based on estimated costs of installation on various websites for EV, they were in the ballpark.  Their communication, service and work were excellent.  They make the entire process simple.  I would highly recommend.

Adrian came out to our house when we were in Escrow. Gave us insight on the electrical. Then followed up when we were ready. All of his guys are professional, tidy, and curious. 1000000 stars for his communication, professionalism. Would look forward to working with Adrian Ahd his team in the future. Highly recommended.

Super Happy with their prompt service! Called them yesterday to see about having somebody come out to check out some dead outlets in our house they came that same day ..when they came the outlets happen to be working so we were only charged a service fee which was fine (they replaced a hallway light while here). Today the outlet started acting up again we called him right away he came out right away found the problem and fixed it! Very prompt service super reasonable rates would absolutely call them again if I had a problem!! Thank you!!
