Best Electricians in California

We had American Reliable install a full HVAC system when we bought our house in 2018. Since then, we've had multiple issues, and had American Reliable come back to assess and service it. One time, the drain pan had overflowed and leaked through the ceiling light onto the floor in the main house, and they came out and said they fixed it but gave little to no information as to how it happened. Now, we decided to have another company come out to service it, as we were not able to get the temperature down, and they told us in their years of experience on the job, they've never seen a system like this or a system installed like this. The drain pan was installed incorrectly, and is now fully rusted and about to crack. The inside of the system has a leaking coil which we were not aware of, and likely is the reason the pan overflowed the first time, and is the reason for all the corrosion. American Reliable did not follow code, and only installed one singular drain pipe when there is supposed to be 3. They also didn't install a safety switch. We're now looking at a $4k repair because of the poor install by American Reliable. It's possible that the unit is still under warranty but in order to use that, we'd have to have American Reliable do the repair, and we honestly don't want to have them back. The soonest we can have it repaired by another company is in 15 days, during which we cannot use our system at all so that the pan doesn't crack, which would cause much more in damage to our home. We're so disappointed and will not be recommending them to anyone, nor will we use them again ourselves.

We had an outlet that was loose and would not hold anything plugged into it, so our property manager called out Ducros Electric to come fix it.  Grant was an absolute pleasure to work with.  He called to let us know when he would be there and then again when he was nearby to make sure we were home.  Grant was in and out in 15 minutes and now we can use the outlet for extra fans during the hot summer months.  I've already told a couple friends about the impeccable customer service and would gladly use Ducros Electric again.  Thank you!

Needed to install a 14-30 plug for EV charging, so we talked to a few companies over Yelp and got some quotes. Marco was pretty fast to reply to our messages on Yelp and was easy to work with. He clearly explained to us how he would get the job done, and his price was fair! Despite the fact that the two crew members got here 40 minutes late on the day of the appointment (due to delay at the supply store), they were very professional and got the job done in about two hours. Overall I am very satisfied with their work.

I reached out to Seaway Electric on Yelp for quotes for immediate and future items. Brandon was so quick to respond and make time to come by. We had gotten other quotes that were much higher just for an estimate even if no work was done ($150 consultation).

We had installed a smart doorbell but it was cutting in and out due to an old transformer. He was able to quickly change it (even with the old wiring). The chime also wasn't functioning and he took a look at that for us too. He changed exactly as he quoted even though he went above and beyond to take a look at something else for us.

We will definitely be calling Seaway Electric for all our needs.

Dr. Sparks Electrical is an amazing company.  They are courteous, friendly, and very professional.  They do an amazing job and have reasonable prices.

The referral was through my home warranty company, Old Republic. Initial contact with Ray was pleasant. My appointment was 12/6/16 at 4pm. Ray left a message stating he was running late. When we talked, he was roughly 1-1 1/2 hours behind and asked to come after. No problem.

Ray showed up ~7pm. I gave him a brief explanation, showed him the breaker box, and he checked to see if sockets had power. Since it was late and dark, Ray asked to come another day because he said it could take hours for him to find the issue, he may have to go inside the walls, and mentioned something about the GFIs. I was kind of startled when he asked if it would be okay for him to come in, assess, and do work while I wasn't home. Uhhh...hell NO! Who does that before confirming the issue with a homeowner, first of all?!

Ray said his boss, Mark, would call me to reschedule. A week later, still no call. I called Ray's cell. He assumed I had already spoke with Mark then said someone must have forgot to call me. He gave me Mark's cell number so I called and left him a mesaage. A week later, still no call! At this point, there was too much back and forth and I needed work done so I could host Christmas dinner.

I found a handyman who came the day after I called him. One socket was incorrectly wired and tripped the others. There was no going in the wall and no hours worth of work as Ray suggested I may need. Smh!! One socket cover was unscrewed, a wire was capped, and everything was working and tested within an hour.

Finally, a few days after my work was completed by the handyman, another technician called to reschedule. Too late!! Mark also called, same day, hours later. Again, too late!

Zimmerman completed no assessment, no work, and couldn't call back in a sufficient time frame. Yet, they submitted a false bill to my warranty company for payment. Frauds!! Even the date on the work order was false! The dishonesty is shameful.

I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to MAG Electric for coming out and servicing my electrical problem! Mark and Moises was very professional and good welcoming attitudes. It felt like I've know them forever! They came out the same day and resolved my problem. They didn't try an price gouge me, which was very appreciated! They even reviewed some work by my previous contractor completed and brought it to my attention. Once they were finished they cleaned up well! Thank you again to MAG Electric! I would definitely recommend them and look forward to working with them in the future for my electrical needs!

Adaza is the very best. .  I live in Manhattan Beach and was having problems with circuit breakers.  Called Adaza and Wright was at my house in a bit over an hour.  Checked the problem and he and his son took care of all my problems in a very short time.  I would never consider calling another Electrician.  They are the best.  Would recommend them

I came home to find the lights in the kitchen still working however my fridge and microwave were no longer drawing power. The power in my garage was also out however the rest of the house was fine. I called and Sofia answer once I figured out this problem was outside my wheelhouse.

Sofia wanted to make actually sure a tech was needed to be sent out and had me verify with SCE I wasn't experiencing a brown out. The fact she went out of her way to save money for me speaks volumes about the integrity of the company. Once we knew I needed an electrician, she had Victor come out to my home in the same day. Very impressive I discovered a problem at 5 and by 7 Victor was in my house troubleshooting.

Initially, Victor braced me for the worse, that I may need to replace the lines for the circuits that ran to me major appliances and garage. However, he was thorough and tenacious and found the two shorts that were the culprits.

After dealing with sleazy electricians all day getting quoted 100$ just to come inspect the place and receiving terribly high quotes with no inspection I came in contact with Arman from USA pro who was extremely prompt helpful and precise.

He scheduled a free inspection/ consultation and was at the property within 20 minutes.

Arman really is a no nonsense guy he really explained to me all the possibilities and the different ways that the job could be done and didn't carry any of the typical BS excuses you'd get from any other electricians this guy is definitely a pro.

He checked the wiring on the switches to make sure that it had a neutral and then he went up into the attic to do start the process. Took him about 2 hours to install ceiling lights in 2 rooms. Very professional and he did an amazing job. I'm

My experience with A&A Home Improvements was EXCELLENT! Alberto, is VERY professional, accommodating, and takes pride in his work. He build a brand new ADU for my mom in the city of Compton (Check out the pictures). Alberto, patience got tested when the city kept asking for random permits, along with other fees that needed to be dealt with, in order for the project to continue. ALL of this was took place during the pandemic and he still got the job done!  Any other contractor having to deal with all this during the pandemic would have abandoned the project. I will definitely contact Alberto's team again when I need to have more work done around the house.

We called Volt Tech because my dad had turned off the main power switch (while trying to fix another problem) and somehow it got stuck. We had no power!

We were calling all around town but since it was Saturday, it was hard to get any response. Volt called us back and they were able to help my dad over the phone! They were great and didn't even make any money off us. We will definitely call them again when we need help. Super helpful and kind.

Chris did an expert job installing garage lighting, running wiring through conduit and hooking  the lights to a combo switch and receptacle. He showed up at the time he promised, completed the job with attention to detail, and cleaned up afterwards. I couldn't be happier with the work he did for me.
