Best Electricians in California

We lost central air in the midst of a 105 degree day At 6pm! We called the HVAC company (Darrow HVAC) that we inherited when we bought our house 3 months earlier, but it turns out (despite our paying for a yearly maintenance contract) they do not have after-hours service!!! Unbelievable! We found American Reliable on Yelp and they truly saved the day. David arrived ahead of schedule, was knowledgeable and professional and immediately diagnosed the problem. He had the correct replacement part in his truck (for our older unit) and within 30 minutes we had cool air again and could stay in our house. Thank You American Reliable!

Brandon and his dad are really great to work with. They're professional and knowledgeable. They explained and pointed out issues during an initial walkthrough of our new home, and were helpful about providing recommendations without being pushy or trying to oversell or hard sell us on stuff. They quickly understood what we wanted to update and were accommodating of the flexible schedule needed with a new baby. They're also just personable and nice to talk and work with when they're onsite performing the work. It's great to have a dependable electrician you can call in the area and nice that they're a family business.

In July of 2012, Dr Sparks installed four 42 flat-screen displays for the campus information system. Dr Sparks was chosen as the contractor, not only because it carried all the insurance certificates required by the university, but also because the promptness in appointments and timeliness in providing quotes.

Three of the four screens were mounted outdoors, with the fourth screen indoors, and all required hidden power and data cables. Some screens needed power re-routed to reach the location and two screens were installed on brick surface.

Warren Shook was onsite for all site inspections and was excellent in staying in touch about timelines and potential challenges. In the end, the screens were installed perfectly and on-time.

Dr Sparks wasn't the lowest quote received for the project, and quality of their work reflects that premium. I wouldn't hesitate in using them again for future projects.

The gentlemen showed up promptly and got right to work. Both outlets under the kitchen sink were replaced expertly within the hour and tested out. Both men were professional and friendly. I highly recommend MAG Electric.

Wright came out the same day of my inquiry, to determine if it was feasible to install a new panel and two electric meters on my duplex. He went out of his way to describe cost/benefits and permit considerations. He was really honest and up front about everything and ultimately recommended against us moving forward.   In the end, we decided against doing the job based on his thorough analysis. I would definitely hire him when we might need an electrician in the future.  It is rare to find someone with such high integrity and great customer service.

The electrician arrived later then his projected arrival time but came prepared to do the job.

Wow where do I start ?

After dealing with sleazy electricians all day getting quoted 100$ just to come inspect the place and receiving terribly high quotes with no inspection I came in contact with Arman from USA pro who was extremely prompt helpful and precise.

He scheduled a free inspection/ consultation and was at the property within 20 minutes.

Arman really is a no nonsense guy he really explained to me all the possibilities and the different ways that the job could be done and didn't carry any of the typical BS excuses you'd get from any other electricians this guy is definitely a pro.

He checked the wiring on the switches to make sure that it had a neutral and then he went up into the attic to do start the process. Took him about 2 hours to install ceiling lights in 2 rooms. Very professional and he did an amazing job. I'm

BEWARE- Alberto charges $100 just to come out for an estimate and then comes back with super inflated quotes. What a racket. He wanted $650 just to install vertical blinds and $5,000 to install 2 bathroom doors!!! Insane. I don't know about these other reviews but he will not hesitate to try and take advantage of you. You've been warned.

New light electric team upgraded our panel to a new 200 amp circuit panel in time and very professionally. New Light Electric pricing that was offered by Jose (owner) who also took the time to provide me with details (step-by-step) of the work involved which he presented in writing up front. He even wanted to wait on getting paid until the job is done and inspection of his work by the city has been approved. Great team to work with. Very satisfied. Keep up the good work Jose .

I really liked how he lined the room floor with plastic before starting.

Victor double checked with me on placement of the fan before he started cutting holes in the ceiling.

He also patched and textured the holes that he made while installing the wiring for the fan.

Although the job took a bit longer than I had imagined, I'm really pleased with the job!

Had a partial power outage happen one night.  The next morning, I contacted Shai, and he was able to fit me into their schedule pretty quickly.  Benny arrived shortly after and handled my issue with no problem whatsoever.  

Apparently due to the recent rain, water had collected inside an outdoor outlet and caused a short.  Benny fixed + future proofed the issue, and quickly restored the remaining affected outlets, all within a very reasonable price.

I will definitely contact these guys again for any future work on my house.

George was able to quickly handle a big commercial job for me on short notice. His price was certainly the best and he went above and beyond for us at Keystone Uniforms in Santa Ana. We had an electric mess with power coming from other units and separate it all and even did some extra things for us out of the kindness of his heart. Great! Prompt accurate communication and estimate and solid work. Can't ask for any better than that. Will definitely use again and recommend. They installed 2 exterior outlets with appropriate weather cover as well as fixed a last minute add on interior outlet repair. Felt the price was fair and right on target for work done.

Mike was somewhere in the middle of the Yelp reviews, he should be first.  I called 7 electricians and he was hands down the most courteous, professional and deft in communication. I researched the other 6 Yelp-rated electricians, and it was no contest on who to choose. It turned out my project was not beyond the scope of what I had anticipated, and was able to complete it myself. But at least my research is done and I know who to call next time. His customer service via text and phone calls were unparalleled.  The first time I was disappointed not to scratch a contractor a check.

Our 1963 electrical panel didn't survive an Edison Outage, so we were without AC in the middle of July. I called Ben at 9pm and he was out the next morning at 7:30am with the hard-to-find main breaker. He had us up and running again within an hour. He also left the panel much cleaner than he found it.

I meant to leave a review much sooner. Chris has been a great electrician and has helped us over the past year or so with our houses different electrical repairs or updates. Today he helped us with restoring power in the back of the house and replaced our outdoor outlet. In the past he replaced a bathroom exhaust fan, replaced a broken light switch, installed a new ceiling light, and replaced several of our outlets, installed a floodlight to the garage, and fixed the doorbell chime while installing our new Ring doorbell. He also had caught a wiring job done wrong going from the house to the garage and fixed that one of the times. We have an old house also, so it's nice to have a reliable electrician. Thanks Chris.
