There is so much to thank nick about but mostly nick's technicians arrived on time under stormy (pouring down) weather that shows how professional and take seriously the job they do. Also, I am pleased with the skills and knowledge of his technicians. This is an excellent and trustworthy service to make people like me who have been through lies and bad services from other companies that legit company does exist in this world. ^^

Getting an electrical panel changed from New Quest Electric is much easier than I expected due to the repnsiveness from Nick and his team. They work hard and cover all steps for you, from getting a permit to patching the wall. EV charger wiring and electrical panel are both professional implemented and passed by inspection. Worh every penny, especially for a great service from New Quest Electric, and hope they continue to offer the same great service in the future.

Glad I found New Quest Electric ! I had purchased a swim spa not realizing I had to get an electrician to install a 240 volt 30 amp line as well as get a permit because my city is pretty strict. Nick, the owner came within few hours of my call and gave me a quote the following day. The quote I felt was decent at the time, considering a few others I had also received but let me tell you! Nick went above and beyond making sure I got my permit. Nice clean work. I will absolutely refer New Quest Elelctric and call again if I ever need electrical work.

I reached out to inquire about a quote to install my pendant lights and Nick replied right away. He provided me with a good quote and I was able to schedule the installation at a day and time that works for me. The team called me 30 minutes before their arrival and they arrived on time. They were great! They installed my pendant lights at the length I wanted and were very helpful when I needed to make some changes. These guys are great. I had an electrical outlet that was cut into by a previous contractor which left me with a fire hazard. I called Nick, was able to schedule an appointment within 2 days. They were at my home right on time. They were fast, efficient, and very professional. They even wore shoe covering to protect my floors. They got the job done under 1 hour. It's so nice to have a functioning outlet.

TLDR: Straightforward, professional, and delivered exactly as promised on my new NEMA 14-50 plug for my charger. They mounted the EV box and everything cleaned up.

My only complaint is the slow response after the installation. I asked for some electrician information to fill out some rebate paperwork. It took 3 weeks of slow back and forth to get the information. This soured the experience a bit and makes me wonder what support would look like if there was an issue with the installation. I've had my charger installed 6+ months with no issues so far so still 5 stars.

We needed a ceiling fan installed in one of our upstairs bedrooms. After speaking with Nick, he provided a quote and said they could come in 2 days.

Their folks were on time, completed the work in the discussed timeframe, and were very respectful of our space (protecting with plastic sheets from dust/debris).

They answered all of our questions and always confirmed before doing something (e.g. we need to cut a small hole here or we need to briefly access the attic). They also stuck to the quote that was originally provided; no surprises.

We are very pleased with the installation and have a few more projects that we hope to send their way in the future. thank you.

This review is not for work completed, as we were unable to obtain an estimate. I reached out via Yelp and received a response from Nick about a day later.

We scheduled an appointment for a few days after that. But Nick never showed and did not contact me during the estimated window of arrival. So I texted him and he said he was not going to be able to make it and we would need to reschedule. I told him that my schedule was flexible and to let me know what day would be best for him. It's been 5 days now and no contact. Apparently business is good and he's very busy.

This is disappointing because the great reviews for quality of work had my hopes up. But unfortunately we will be looking elsewhere.

New Quest Electric helped me install a new electric panel and NEMA 14-50 plug for my ev vehicle. I had a few electrician come out for an estimate. My electric panel was located on the 3rd floor and to install an ev charger in the garage was not an easy task. In addition, they were the only company who brought to my attention that 2 wires in the panel were double tapped to the same breaker which is a fire hazard. Many electrician who came by threw outrageous quotes compared to New Quest Electric. However, after speaking with Nick (owner) in details on how they plan to run the wires through my attic and down along the outer walls into the garage. Nick's crew was very polite and nice as well. They were very respectful of my home space and made sure they didn't leave the place messy. I heard some humming from my panel and asked Nick to come out to take a look. He came within 24 hours and assessed the situation to assure me it's still safe and just needs just minor adjustments on the panel. He scheduled his crew to come right back out within 48 hours. I can't thank Nick enough for his professionalism and also following through with his work. I trust Nick and plan to refer more business to him.

I contacted Quest for my Nest Video doorbell issue. I made an appointment to get an estimate. They showed up on the day and on time. They found it was my chime not working. I needed a NEMA 14-50 installed in my garage for my new EV. I requested a quote on Yelp and New Quest Electric was one of the few that responded immediately. I sent them a picture of my panel and the distance needed from it and they gave me an instant quote.

When the electricians were running a bit late, but I was informed of their delay. When they got here, I was expecting an up charge, but they stuck by their original quote as promised and no up charge. Just a note, the other companies started up charging as we were communicating via text. They told me I needed another panel, a sub panel, additional wiring, additional hrs and material cost.

New Quest Electric was very easy and priced very well for the service and attention to detail they provide. The crew had masks on at all times and cleaned up very nicely.

I needed some work done as soon as possible as we are halfway through a remodel job at our house. Unfortunately I learned that the outlet on our wall was not suitable for a new induction range that I had ordered. I read the reviews and decided to request a quote from Nick. I was so impressed with how quickly he was able to respond and discuss the job with me - literally same day he was able to give me a timeframe of when they can come out and do a pretty significant amount of work. Basically I needed to have my electricity rewired to accommodate A 240 V outlet which involves writing some cables through an attic to the outside of my house.

The following day to crew members showed up they were professionally dressed polite and very efficient. They had to go to multiple stores to purchase the materials but they did not let this slow them down at all. The work that was done outside of the house was cleaned up and they were able to leave pieces of drywall so that my painter could re-patch the wall where the work had been done.

I would highly recommend Nick and his crew due to their excellent communication, value especially since I think they had to do some extra work and stuck to the initial quote and overall professionalism. I feel very confident with my choice of hiring them as the last thing I would want is to do a shoddy type of electrical work. My work is guaranteed for a year and I feel like if anything happens I can easily call Nick and he would help remedy the issue.

Nick and his team were awesome and professional. We needed an EV charger installed and he came over to give his recommendations and estimate the same day- Thursday. He was able to accommodate us and do the installation on Monday. It was a bit more work because our house is older and the panel is far from where we wanted the charger but his technicians were helpful and done sooner than anticipated. We had another electrician give us competitive pricing but we wanted to go with Nick because he was genuine and knowledgeable. Already recommended him to a friend and would do so in the future.

New Quest Electric is now my go-to electrician. I had four issues that needed attention and Nick was able to fix them all on my schedule. He was able to fix my home's address light by installing a new daylight sensor, splitting into two circuits the original electrical circuit that was overtaxed, and correcting the wiring of the attic fan while adding a new shut-off switch. He was even able to fix the wiring issue I had with my awning fan and post lights that occurred when a contractor inadvertently loosened a wire within the electrical conduit. Highly recommend for electrical issues. I compared prices at 5-6 other locations in Anaheim, Yorba Linda and Riverside, and they had the lowest or similar cost, but Nick was the fastest to get back to me via Yelp messages. We chose New Quest Electric because they are communicative, answered all my questions about cost very quickly and they came in on the same day as I requested the service for our nonfunctioning outlets. We had power issues in our living room and kitchen and they quickly replaced GFCI outlets and a burnt out circuit breaker (I might be using the wrong term) BUT they fixed it! All the lights and electronics in the problem area now work.

He came out to inspect and trouble shoot our electric problem and was able to fix it the same day and recommended a solution to prevent further issues by adding a direct line for our pool pump outlet. Words cannot truly express how impressed I was about Nick, Gabriel, and the 2 Oscars. But, allow me to try.

[Initial Contact]
Nick, the owner, was very on-time to do the estimate, and it didn't take long for him to get back to me. He sent Gabriel and Oscar to come do the majority of the work, and they were extremely professional about the job. The work involved installing new lines, fixing existing outlets, and installation of some new center-piece lighting. And, they were on-time both days.

[More Requests/Work]
They did such a good job that I asked them to do EVEN MORE work, involving recessed lighting, yet another new line, and even a change of all outlets to decora. We went from 2 days of work to 8 days of work, with 2-4 people coming every day. By the time all was said and done, they had touched EVERY SINGLE room of the house (including the kitchen and garage), both outlets and lighting. And, they did the work in a timely fashion as well.

[Attention to Detail]
I was remarkably impressed with their attention to detail. Changing ALL of the outlets in the house is REALLY EASY to miss. They even found the ones behind the laundry and inside closets to change. Gabriel was extremely thorough to ensure that the work done was done properly.

[Service]
The service was great too! I had not known what I was doing on recessed light positioning, and I ended up changing all the positioning. They had to drill a LOT of new holes and make lighting installation movements/changes on my 25-ft high vaulted ceilings. They didn't extra charge me a single cent. Instead, they wanted to work with me to make them look nice.

[Breakdown]
Pricing: Very reasonable: 30% cheaper than the higher bidders
Professionalism: Amazing and on-time
Work Quality: Absolutely 0 complaints!
Service: Very hard to find anyone else that is better

[Reflection]
Needless to say, I am extremely happy with their work. My wife ABSOLUTELY LOVED how the recessed lighting turned out with the modifications to our original plan. I was so thrilled when I saw the delight on my wife's face. And, Nick/Gabriel and team are the ones that made it happen!

I was having problems with my HVAC system and thought it might be an electrical problem because the breakers weren't staying up. I called New Quest and they came out the same day. I didn't get the tech's name, but he was thorough and did a full check up on my home's electrical system. It was determined that the HVAC system was faulty and had nothing to do with the electrical. While he was there he helped fix the bathroom light that wouldn't stay on. Overall, very satisfied with their professionalism!

My husband and I recently purchased a home that had no overhead lighting in any of the bedrooms and needed some updates in the living room to accommodate a TV and wall lighting. I needed an electrician to install a dedicated line for an infrared sauna I have in my master bedroom. I contacted New Quest Electric because of the good ratings they had on yelp. After my experience with them I can say that every Yelp star was well earned!

This was a big job because my master bedroom was quite a distance from the fuse box. It required going from the fuse box through the garage, through the attic, and then to our master bedroom. It was a very costly installation, however, Nick walked me through what needed to be done In a way I could understand it and why the cost was warranted. It took a half a day to complete the job. When they were done Nicks crew walked me through what they did. I was very impressed on how clean the installation was. I really appreciated the professional, personal touch.

I developed a lot of trust for New Quest Electric due to this experience and will definitely use them again!

What can I say about Nick and his team (Gabriel and Oscar)? Easy- simply amazing to do business with them. Came in to my house and in two days they completed what would had taken me months to do...

A new bathroom fan swap for old, new gfci plugs in kitchen and bathrooms, new ceiling lights, new down lights, new plugs and switches throughout the house, nee exterior lights and more. They did an outstanding job and got right on it from day 1. Nick walked with me a couple days before to go over the quote ( which was a great deal btw) and the day of the work had the list ready for his team and walked them through the project. They knew exactly what to do and when. They were also extremely patient with us in making last minute modifications. He also checked in and helped the crew out as well in between his checkups. In the end , he stopped by and made sure that all items were complete and we were satisfied. We really made a connection with him and Oscar and Gabriel. Honest guys doing honest work. Looking to do my garage next... will be calling soon!

We are so happy with the upgrade from Flourisent lights to led. Dimmer was also installed. These lights are so bright the dimmer helps lots, and I mean lots!
No more replacing Flourisent lights for me. These less should last forever not to mention the saving in electricity

I had LED recessed lighting installed by New Quest Electric. After contacting several electricians Nick stood out from the others, because he actually came up with the best layout and light choices. The day of the job his workers covered everything in plastic and laid out the light design with laser showing the exact location of each light. I did not want holes cut in the drywall for the switches and they were very patient and kind to work with me on different locations. Nick is very responsive, reliable and a man of his word. I am happy with the end result and their competitive pricing.

I am impressed with Nick and his crew for their thorough job.

We hired someone else ( a bigger company with a lot of more help reviews) last week to fix the issue, but they did not do a good job. So the problem still persisted.

So I decided to try this company. Nick listened to our issue and started from the panel outside and it was okay. Then he proceeded to check all the outlets suspecting there could be a loose wiring. Bingo! That was the issue.

Invoicing process is very easy and he emailed me an invoice with one year warranty right on the spot.

All in all, highly recommend. Nick even replaced two celing lightbulbs for us and did not bother in taking a tip.

Nick is very professional, courteous and fair priced

Throughout getting a quote on yelp (he took the time to understand and listen to what I need) to arranging the time and updating me on his arrival time, he was responsive and communicative.

He is patient with explaining to me what the issues are and is detail oriented when he works.

He laid down enough cloth to prevent the dust and various materials from dirtying up my floors and cleans up after.

Cant ask for more from a licensed electrician.
Some may go with unlicensed as I have done so many times in the past but for critical work, I trust him and I can sleep easy knowing that these pros did the work, up to a high standard.

Nick and his team were AMAZING! I contacted Nick this afternoon about a few small projects I wanted to complete. He stated he was on another job today but would make time to come straight to my home to do my projects this evening!!!

Respectable, Honest and Fair pricing

I needed to find a Electrical Technician for a oven motor that went out in our warehouse which was slowing down our operations so i contact a dozen electric companies but New Quest Electric had their schedule open and the first one to respond for availability. Spoke with Nick and he was honest and fair with the pricing. His hourly rate for the job request was $135 an hour. He fixed everything within 2.5 hours and also had some time to check out the connections with some outlets that aren't working. I would highly recommend for these guys from my experience.

I contacted several electricians to install several LED lights outside and run some camera cables in my home after we got burglarized. Nick was one of the first ones to respond and the most responsive.

Nick came at 7:45 am when he was supposed to assess the job at 8:30 am. I can't say enough about Nick for being so helpful and attentive to details on what I needed done with the wiring and lighting. I provided the items to be installed and got the job done and explained options and other things. He worked around the ADT Security installer and recommended other things to consider while I was ripping out the Brinks Security system that failed.

FAST AND AMAZING!

We had a wiring situation with our dimmer switch. The old dimmer had blown, and when we opened it up to replace it, we found that it was wired pretty strangely. We attempted the repair on our own, but after a few failed attempts we decided to call in a professional.

Nick installed a Tesla Wall Connector for me today, he took about 3 hours, and was totally professional. From my exterior electrical panel, he went through the wall to the garage, up to the ceiling, all the way across the garage to the other side. I called New Quest Electric to help with an electrical problem at our home based upon their stellar reviews. Nick responded and was there within a couple of hours and didn't disappoint. He expertly diagnosed the problem, gave a very reasonable quote, and was very thorough, professional, friendly, and personable in resolving the problem. He even went beyond the basic issue to make sure to upgrade the wiring in the areas we had the problem and to walk me through how to do the same with other outlets throughout the house. Additionally, he was very sensitive to making sure he was neat, kept the area and the walls clean, and that all debris was picked up after the job. What a great experience. Nick picked up the first time we called and was out the next day to give us an estimate. His pricing was far more fair than I expected can lights would cost us. We were grateful for that being we just moved in and have already spent so much money. Nick was super fast getting back to my emails and we scheduled him for the week after our estimate.
Can lights were installed today and we couldn't be happier. Nick and the nice guy he works with communicated really well with us, listened to our opinion and installed the lights quick and perfectly. Nick was referred by a friend and I was very impressed by his quick response times. He's punctual, polite, and I don't feel like he's trying to take my money. He installed an electrical outlet in a closet and changed out four light fixtures in my kitchen. He was very considerate about being neat and tidy, which I appreciated. For example, he placed large drop cloths over the areas where he was working. He also made recommendations on light bulbs to make the fixtures look better as well. Additionally, he made suggestions on ways to improve the lighting on my home since I complained it was too dark. He's very knowledgeable about his field. We needed some new outlets in our bathrooms and I contacted multiple electricians. One electrician, suggested to run the wire from across the bathroom because the wattage was too high and would cause the outlet to overload. The guys suggestion would require multiple holes in the drywall that would cost additional patch work and paint, not to mention more hours of work. Then Nick comes in for an estimate and asks me what I was going to use the outlet for, I mentioned it was for an electric bidet. He asked to look at it and he pulled up the technical information online and calculated the exact amount of power it would draw and did the math. Nick's method was significantly cheaper and less complicated. A year and a half in, the fuse has never blown and hasn't had an issue. I've had Nick comeback to coordinate with my landscapers to add power to backyard and swap out some smart switches. He always delivers. Not the cheapest, but you don't want it cheap when it comes to your electrical issues.

My experience with Nick and his crew was very punctual, smooth, and professional. The rate was very reasonable and did all the work in one hour.

I had Nick test and inspect what the previous owner did with the electrical work back in the patio. He advised me with what circuit breakers and outlets were active light and power with one empty additional slot for adding TV and or outdoor fan. Also advised me the sensitivity with some of the breakers that may cause the circuit to trip.

He was able to fix the front porch number light in where the solar sensor went bad. Never would have figured the sensor was at the other side of the house.

While that was going on, Nick had one of his member install a dedicated 20 amp circuit breaker and 4 quad gfi outlets to run heavy duty equipment into the garage. They flipped that project in a heartbeat since they already had the parts handy on the 4x4 Sport Tacoma and the Main Circuit Box was on the side of the garage which advised me that would be the most economical. I had one additional request and were able to go to Home Depot to add the T-slot 20 amp outlet versions I needed. Added cost of course.

Attention to detail was noticed because they used a level to make sure the outlets were correctly positioned. They went above and beyond and will provide a Calculation Load and Electrical Diagram so I can file the permit for the 20 amp outlets.

Not only that I liked their worked, I like Nick and his Crew personally. We chit chatted about Tacoma's and Video Games.

Nick showed up on a Saturday for a last minute request. He put in a charger for the Tesla, removed and hung a new 160 pound chandelier, changed out 18 can lights for new led and removed an old ceiling fan and light with the new replacement.
Nick noticed the weight was considerable when hanging my chandelier and decided to remove it and place additional supports to make sure problems would not arise later, And did not charge me additional fees for doing so.
They placed covers to protect the surrounding areas and cleaned up after.
This company is honest, they arrive on time, do work with integrity and manners. I highly recommend this company.
In fact,I am hiring them for another day to take care of additional lighting both inside and outside.

I have had contractor Nick do several jobs for me in the past. He always makes the time to answer my questions and takes care of the job that I have him do.They do the best work for the best price! And they alway clean up after so I don't worry about a mess.

Contacted Nick to replace outlets and light switches for an old house. He made arrangements to come out that same day as soon as he finished his other jobs He contacted me to let me know he was on his way and arrived promptly. He and his partner were professional, courteous and explained all the work they were doing. I asked him to do an additional task and Even though it was late in the day they completed that work too. Their prices were fair and they cleaned up afterwards.

Nick did a great job installing an 14-50R outlet at my house yesterday. They charged a fair and good price, and it was worth it given the professionalism and the excellent work-related quality. I had hired New Quest Electric about two weeks ago or so. I worked with Nick who gave me a quote and when it was time for my installation he was on time. Nick is very professional and courteous. He will recommend what you really need and not oversell you on things you might not need.
I had Nick come in the first time to install a beautiful Chandelier that we had purchased and was heavy. Nick did a great job on it as well as installed the rest of my fans and lighting on the rest of my rooms in the house. Nick installed about 8-10 lights and I was please about the time it took for him to complete the job. I will be using Nick as our home Electrician for sure for any work we need in the future.
Also, when Nick is doing his installations he is very neat, he brings in some tarp type that he covers the section where he will be working which keeps it super neat and clean. Thank you Nick and you are now our go to Electrician.

Nick was very responsive to my email inquiries and setting up an appointment the following day. He updated me by phone on his estimated time of arrival. He was very professional, explained the problem of why there was no power in our living room, and efficiently fixed the problem. He's also very personable and pleasant.
