I found Steve and Greg through a Moms of Western Springs FB group. We had a switch go out and there was an arc of electricity so I was concerned about fixing it as soon as possible. I called Monday night and they got out Tuesday morning and fixed the problem. Their response was remarkably fast and the quality of their work was exceptional. Thanks Steve and Greg!

AZ Electrical is an outstanding company to do business with. They came out to install a TV antenna at my home a while back.  AZ provided a fair price for the standard installation, however, the installation was anything but standard. Being an older home and far from the Chicago tv transmitters there was some hurdles to overcome. But AZ Electrical did the work for the price quoted (except for additional parts) even though they spent more than twice the time allocated for such a job. You don't find such character in company's these day.  They are definitely recommended.

Don has made my yard look so beautiful on the outside from overhead cable lines to burial. Moving my electrical lines in my basement to another area of the room. Always kept in touch with me every step of the way, always answering all my questions. He finished the job on time! I would highly recommend him for any electrical work! It was a pleasure to work with him and his crew!

Prolite is one of the subcontractors working on my home remodel. They came and installed two ceiling fans for me and did the wiring for my bathroom remodel. Matt and Jack are exactly the professionals you'd want - knowledgeable, conscientious, and trustworthy about working in your home. I will use them in the future for my electrical needs.

Their service was quick.Robert showed up on time and took care of the AC. He was quick to figure out that capacitor was broken and fixed it in minutes. I found them a little pricier but i think the job was good and they took care if it on The Memorial day weekend.

Jeff was prompt and courteous. Jeff is now my go-to electrician. I would highly recommend him and would use him over and over again.

Before I called this company for service I reviewed all the reviews on Yelp and reviewed their webpage. There are a few reasons that I called them; they provide volunteer services to animals and children, and the positive reviews. When I vet companies for service I always make a note of how they talk to me, do they use big words related to their work or do they break it down in simple terms. I also make note on if they're douchy because they're talking to a woman, are they pushy? do they look annoyed when I ask questions? and how passive are they with their answers. I am forgetting the young gentleman's name that came to my home for an estimate but he was great at explaining the situation and solution to me. He wasn't pushy or passive when providing answers. He was respectful, calm and business like. I was satisfied with the estimate and the time it would take to do the work. I requested service on the spot! When he was onsite to do the work he was quick and cleaned up after himself. I'm giving this company 5 stars for professionalism. The company provides a warranty for their work for up to one year. I haven't had any issues and I don't expect any. Thank you! I've got larger projects I am planning for, please expect a call!

Phenomenal, Fair, Quick, Knowledgeable, and Professional

Like most people, I don't like to have my time wasted. When our family electrician wouldn't return my calls, I found Dave online and decided to give him a call based on the positive Yelp reviews.

He responded quickly, had great availability, and was out right away. He walked me through exactly what he was doing, got it knocked out quickly, and charged an extremely reasonable price. Dave was also personable, knowledgeable, and professional -- The kind of person you want to do business with and trust.

As soon as Dave left we took down the old electrician's number from our breaker box and put his business card up there instead; as I know who we're going to call for future electrical needs.

Highly recommend hiring Matt! He responded quickly and was able to schedule me for the day and time I requested. He assembled & hung a ceiling fan, mounted another light fixture, changed a few switches for us, and did it all with quality and professionalism. I would absolutely hire him again for future work in our home!

Very professional and knowledgeable tech.    After getting a couple quotes from different companies I decided to change the electric panel and  install the ev charger with Electric Castle . Mike and Bogdan explained the process and the steps they have to do in order to get the job done. Very careful around the house, clean and outstanding job overall

Owner of the company is honest.  Did all work as expected.  His workers were puntual and professional.  Calls were returned, problems addressed quickly.  Solid contractor.

We contacted AES about doing the wiring for our new garbage disposal, they responded promptly, offered to come out for a free estimate in person the next day, arrived on time, and fit us in for the next day to do the work.  The estimate was 100% accurate, the work was completed efficiently and everyone was courteous and professional. We highly recommend this company!

Homer is the hardest working man in Chicago!  Had a big branch fall on my wires and the electric company said no power until it was fixed. Asked friends for suggestions, made several calls, couldn't get anyone to take a look in a timely fashion.
I did find Homer on Yelp, and I'm happy I did.  He came out that day and walked me through all my options. The major repair was all finished within 24 hours, which even allowed us to keep what was in the fridge!
He even helped with getting the electric company to reconnect the power. I would recommend Homer and Eric to anyone.

After having some wood flooring installed in my apartment, I needed to have 5 appliances re-attached as my flooring contract would not handle that. After quoting several plumbing and handyman companies, HandiCo was less than half the price! Not only did they show up on time and complete the work within the quoted timeframe, my tenant sent me a text raving about how great the technician, Lionel, was. I will definitely use them again for any small repairs in my apartment!

Consistently great work all of the time.  I've used this team for two different projects and and they've done great work both times.  They were extremely professional and provided quality, affordable work. We were well informed of our options and both projects were completed on time.  I will definitely use them in the future.

The first snow of the year was very heavy.  Add to that there still being leaves on trees and you have a weighted disaster just waiting to happen.  As what happened to me.  Our lovely neighbor's rather large tree branch snapped off taking with it our power lines and electric box.  It proceeded to land and break our fence.  Power lines were exposed and therefore deemed unsafe.  Electricity was to be shut off immediately by Comed.  We would need an electrician to fix said box and line.  Apparently this was happening all over the neighborhood, so electricians were in high demand even as I proceeded to call local ones recommended to me by Yelp.  No answers or not available were my results.  That is, until one referred A to Z.  They sent out a nice gentleman by the name of Barry and he was there within three hours of my calling.  He was very courteous and professional.  I'm unsure how his rate compared to others, but desperate calls call for desperate measures.  We already knew we would have to use our insurance deductible to get everything fixed so after consulting with our insurance and receiving their approval we hired them.  They were supposed to come later that afternoon, but the electrician got stuck on the South side.  We were to then spend a fabulous night before Halloween with no heat or electric until he was to come the next morning.  This wasn't their fault, but for a pretty penny I was hoping they would still arrive as soon as they could that day.  At any rate, the next morning 3 staff members arrived and got to work.  I missed my daughter's Halloween party while they were here, but so be it.  Electricity was needed.  One of their staff seemed a little strange, but the other two were sweet enough.  My power was eventually restored and Halloween went on as planned.  I really wished I didn't have to deal with A to Z, but that's what happens in an emergency.

Called for a big job, replacing kitchen and bathroom wiring. He was late to the quote and no-call, no-show for the actual work. I called him to ask how far away he was and he said he forgot about it and can he come the next day instead.

I had several small jobs that needed done; patching drywall, painting, caulking shower and windows. Andrew worked quickly and did excellent work.
