I cannot recommend Alltown enough. They completed the entire electrical scope for a large renovation I completed. They gave a good and fair price, but most importantly, they were able to meet my schedule. Very accommodating, professional, and had great communication throughout the project. I will be using Alltown for all my future electrical needs.

Called him 3 times.. over the course of 2 weeks.
He never got back to me. He may be a good electrician but his customer service sucks.

Victor was very responsive when I reached out to him on a Friday night via Yelp.  He was able to come out to my place the next day (on a Saturday!), and he fixed my electrical problem effectively--and at a very reasonable price.

I would recommend him and his company to anyone in need of electrical help!

Peter helped and didn't even need to come to my house!  I had some problems with the electrical outlets in my bathrooms and when I described it in an email he quickly deduced that it my be as simple as resetting the circuit breaker. Duh! on my part but really appreciated his ability to resolve this without charging for a visit.  Previously used him for a stuck bulb in my stove and he patiently fixed it so I can easily replace it myself now.

Peter is very personable, responsive and thorough.  Highly recommend if you need a reliable and trustworthy mechanic!

Aardvark Electric did a great job at our home today !  The 2 electricians wore their masks , were friendly , neat, efficient , knowledgeable, and timely. Frank was very responsive when we made our initial call , scheduled our appointment promptly , and provided a reasonable cost estimate for the work we needed to have completed. We highly recommend Aardvark Electric!!

Wonderful experience from start to finish.  If I could give them ten stars I would.  Promptly fixed a garage timer.  Arrived a little early for our appointment time but called ahead to make sure it was ok.  Arek did a great job.  Look forward to using them again.  Confident in their abilities.

When I was moving into my new condo I needed unique lighting. No electrical can be run in the ceiling due to radiant heating. I went to several stores and the options were the traditional ones with wires running up the walls. I called a few electricians to line them up for when I knew what lighting options I wanted, but most of them were kind of negative or overwhelmed and didn't seem to want to take a job like this that required creativity. When I got Kent through a referral he said let me come over with my box of tricks and we'll figure something out. It was awesome. Someone who wanted to collaborate with me on a creative solution. And we did just that. Ultimately I ended up with exactly the lighting solution I wanted. Kent had installed this type of lighting many times, but not the way I needed it done. It was complicated, but ultimately he created something that is fantastic and flexible. It's sleek and clean. And when the job started to go longer than expected, Kent did little random jobs, like bringing me a light he had in his shop and installing a light in my closet, installing a light in my bathroom, and when I had an electrical problem due to water, he fixed it. You never know when you're going to need an electrician, so that was great. Last night at 10pm my power went out. I texted Kent and he arrived this morning first thing, and fixed the issue. I can't say enough about Kent and Skykine.

These guys went above and beyond. I bought a new unit in my building and there were a few items I'd planned (fixture changes, sconces, outlet tests) and a few I didn't (2 broken breakers, and a few other complications). Jose was professional, polite, and very helpful. I knew just enough electrical to get part way on some of the projects then got stuck. He made above and beyond trips for parts on short notice and was very easy to work with, both him and his assistance for the heavy lifting. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again, and in case you need them to be insured for your homeowners association, they quickly provided this as well.

We needed our old smoke detector fixed. Volodymyr was quick, straightforward, and professional. He also replied to messages within a reasonable time frame. Highly recommend!

I had an electrician from Bartlett, IL, but he was always too busy to come out. I tried LMV because of reviews here, and their proximity. This was one of my best decisions. The electrician they sent was very skilled, and did a good job at a very reasonable price. He even put down a tarp to protect my counter top, and cleaned up after the job. Good company. You can even text them pictures of the job and get quote in return. Highly recommended.

Eugene explained clearly the problems and solutions.  He really knows his stuff.  He arrived and finished on time. Price was very good, a bit less than I thought it would be.

There was a problem where the breaker was blowing with no obvious reason, in fact it got so bad that it wouldn't reset. I called Hardt Electric and Todd came to take a look. He found that there was a short and fixed the issue. He was friendly and quick and the price was reasonable.

He also indicated that the circuits serving that area of the building were overloaded and suggested we work to split them into several circuits. No pressure, but I appreciated the feedback and decided to have him back to do the upgrades. He brought a second guy with him to do this larger project. They were done on schedule and slightly under the quoted price.

I am very pleased with their work and will use them again

He never hesitate, to respond. I am very please with him getting back to in such a short time. That lets me know he is about Business, So I am hoping he will help me with my project. If we agree on things and he take my project, I will be back to update this review.

I would not trust or recommend any other company than RED Electric. I was so lucky they were referred to me. Ed and his team are truly fantastic, professional and provided super high quality work. I had my entire house (1939 Georgian) rewired and upgraded to a 200 amp panel, plus they removed a ton of old low-voltage wires. It was about 3 weeks worth of work total and lots of holes in the walls but totally worth it  to have a safe, newly wired home. Emilio was the main technician at my house. He was so nice and friendly and professional. Not only did he do great work, he helped me practice my spanish and my skills improved dramatically while he was here. Even the inspector who came over knew of Ed and his team and said he has one of the best electric companies out there and is highly respected.  So do yourself a favor, just go with Ed and his team, don't bother with anyone else.

AM&L did a great job on the electric wiring during my kitchen and bathroom renovations. They are a nice family owned company and clearly take pride in their work. Definitely would recommend them.

Called the day before Thanksgiving and the owner walked me through my problem over the phone. Was a huge help! Will definitely call back!
