Fast, on time, honest service.  We asked for a pre home inspection of our electrical panel, expecting news that we'd need to a good amount of cleaning up (it's from the 1970's) but Ted took his time to thoroughly examine, and confidently determined it's in great order, safe, etc.  He said it was up to code and there was no reason to do anything to it.  What a huge relief.  He is putting it on letterhead for us, for a future home inspection for peace of mind.  Very minimal charge for his service.  I am highly recommending Kinetic Energy (and Ted!) - they were honest, amazing!!

Cliff is great and understands how to install a Tesla charger. He is prompt and was able to give me a quick response and estimate. If you are in the market to upgrade your charging in your garage, go with Safe Home!

Found Hilman on Yelp several years ago and have worked with Chris since for many repair and maintenance projects for our house.
Chris is someone you can trust comfortably. This strait of character is rare commodity in the construction business these days.

i found J&J here and was impressed by their reviews after the other place I called didn't show when expected. Called them and someone showed up immediately, found the problem, repaired, tested, and told us what we should be doing to maintain it. From the time we called until the time he left was under an hour. I was happy with the price of the repair as the other company would have charged me nearly $100 just to show up. I plan on calling them again to inspect our furnace before this winter.

Keith was very professional when speaking with him and his prices was reasonable from the other quotes that I received. He started the work that was on his list and He even did things that was not in the quote which made me know that he's does this profession for the love of it. I am grateful for his great services.. I will be calling him back for other projects.

If I could give Frank more stars, I would give him 100!!! He's definitely earned them. Frank and his company have helped me with MANY projects and the outcome is always professionally done and I'm always updated for every step of the way. His pricing is more than fair and he is always responsive, which is number 1 in importance for me!!!  An all around great guy and a pleasure to do business with, you cannot go wrong with Adrian Electric!

I needed a new fan installed in each of my two bathrooms in my condo.  I liked the service Joe provided when repairing a broken lock (from essentially a break-in) and so I thought I'd give him a call again.  He was able to help me understand that completely replacing the fans in my bathrooms would be a very time-consuming undertaking that would also require significant manual labor that included replacing some of the ceiling after he ripped the old fans out.  I was a little disheartened at his assessment of the situation because I had already purchased new fans to be installed.  Joe did tell me that the cheaper, and easier option would be to replace the motors in the old fans and get them running in just a couple hours.  Long story short, he replaced the motors and got the fans working again.  If that was the end of the story, he would have a 5 star rating.  

I'll admit that Joe is able to fix just about anything.  I've had good success with his work, although he does charge $90/hour for labor.  (Which knocked his rating down one star.) But during the last visit to fix my bathroom fans, he was quick to identify a number of other things he could fix in my condo if I let him.  I let him fix a few other things but realize now that I paid for it, literally.  I take the blame for not keeping him focused on what I originally called him to fix, the bathroom fans, because at the end of it all I ended up paying for the time he spent talking with me and tinkering with silly things that didn't really need to be addressed on this visit.  

The other part of the service call that was frustrating is that he needed to leave my place to pick up some parts at a local hardware store.  He called ahead and said the store had what he needed so he left to pick them up.  Upon his return, about 45 minutes later, he did not have the parts he needed and said he would have to come back another day to finish the job.  Not that big of a deal.  The real issue is that not only did Joe expect me to pay him for the time he spent in the car driving to get parts that he didn't bring back, the job was going to span two separate days AND he wanted to charge me a $40 service call fee for both trips.  I was taken back by this because not only did the estimated 3 hour job unfold into over 4 hours, it spanned two days and I was being charged for him to drive around in his car.  I did not take very fondly to this and made sure to tell Joe.  He ultimately 'waived' the second service call fee that he shouldn't have charged me and completed the job on a day about two weeks later.  (Minus a second star because I had to unnecessarily argue my case and win.)

When he left my place after the first visit, he did NOT clean up after himself and I found myself sweeping and cleaning up his work mess.  If he was coming back the next day, it wouldn't have been a problem but when he left he said, I'll call you when the parts come in a we can schedule another appointment.  Thanks buddy but next time, please clean up after yourself.  (Minus another star.)

I don't enjoy arguing with service people because they know infinitely more about what they are doing than me.  I understand it's a business and they need to make money, which is why I call for their help for fix things and defer to their expertise in all cases.  Will Joe the Handyman get the job done?  Yes.  Will he do quality work?  Most likely.  Will he clean up after himself?  Not consistently.  Will he charge you for a service call and $90/hour?  Yes.  Will I call him again?  Only if other handyman services fail me.  Sorry, Joe.

This may be the only review from someone who DIDN'T actually use Fail Safe! We had an issue with our electricity this morning, and I chose to call Lou based on other Yelp reviews. So first of all, he calls me back within an hour - at 7:30 am. How fantastic is that? But then, as I describe my problem, he suggests it might be a problem with the electric line coming into the house, and that I should call the City of Naperville first. If that's not the issue, he said at that point it would be worthwhile to have him come out. So I call the city, they send a truck out, and sure enough, Lou was right. Everyone I spoke with at the city was impressed that Lou immediately referred me to them; they get complaints all the time about unscrupulous companies that won't do that because they want to come out and charge you for the service call. Not only did Lou give me the right advice - although it meant no sale for him - he even followed up with a phone call to make sure my problem had been solved. This is a man with integrity, and if I ever have another electrical issue again, I won't hesitate to call him.

Dominik and his team did an excellent job finishing our basement, adding fixtures, installing outlets and switches, adding a 240v source w/ ventilation, and framing and hanging drywall, taping & mudding. We used him since is the same contractor that is finishing my wife's art studio building - and the work there is excellent.

Price was very competitive. They do everything - so getting a bundled quote not only helped with costs but also scheduling. We went through multiple options for decisions, with Dominik showing his industry expertise and knowledge about any question that came up, whether it be routing wiring or sound insulation.

Project was completed on time. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again, and highly recommend them for any projects you need.

James did an awesome job helping me figure out my door bell situation. He was very responsive to my messages. He's super knowledgeable and friendly. He was even able to explain to me the mechanism of how all the wires could work (because my doorbell had 12+ wires too it instead of the standard 3) in simpler terms. Overall, I would highly recommend him. Thank you!

Terrible service, felt scammed the entire time. Tried to up charge me by hundreds of dollars. Took advantage of me not knowing electrical issues. Tried to charge me $650 for what second electrician I called told me was $120 worth of repairs. Beyond frustrating company to work with.

They probably nice people having a bad day, but I called just to get some info and got hung up on twice. The first time I was hung up on soon as I finished my question. Then I thought the phone might have just messed up, no biggie. I call back get immediately put on hold and 90 seconds in it picks up and I get hung up on again. Not trying to be a bother, just was interested in your services and prices.
