It took a second try but Stefan identified and replaced my circuit breaker. He spoke with my warranty company to explain the issue. He identified another electrical
Issue regarding a transformer.

It's hard to find a contractor you can trust and we finally found someone with Darrell. He is very fair, reasonable, and understanding. We had a minor electrical issue and he fixed it without charging us. In addition we had some major plumbing work and Mike and his guys were very professional and hard working. Darrel walked us through the whole process and gave us a fair price. He followed up personally even though he was working on a different job. I highly recommend Sims and Sons.

Rodrigo, the electrician, arrived promptly and was very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. I had 2 recessed lights that were not working. He was able to fix one while here, and for the other, he will have to order a part and return. The cost was very reasonable and the whole experience a good one.

Ted and Tom gave a reasonable estimate based on the scope of work I provided (outlets not working after a DIY mishap). They were able to quickly make the repair and explain the problems found. They also addressed a separate grounding/shared circuit issue they found. The additional charges for the increase in scope/time was very reasonable.

Would recommend them if you have residential electrical wiring issues.

Joe installed new indoor and outdoor power sources in our home. The price was right, he was punctual, focused and completed the job swiftly. We would recommend his services for your electricity needs.

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. I've had these guys do work for me several times in a rental property. They always do great work and have very fair prices. They handle simple and complicated electrical problems very well.

We are in the process of tearing down a house we recently purchased, and hired Rogelio at Alex Electrical to cut the main electrical line from the pole to the house, as well as remove the cable lines, the electric meter, and the electric box in the house. Rogelio was extremely knowledgeable, very responsive, professional, and got the job done in less time than the estimate. Jake and Lenox were a great team- they were efficient and were able to locate the source of our electrical problem. They replaced 2 GFI's and have literally brought light back into our lives! We'll definitely be using them again.

I had a great experience with this company.  I had a 2-story chandelier to replace in my foyer as well as a dining room light. I texted back and forth with Nelville. Super easy to reach and he responds very quickly.  I like the texting aspect.  I actually texted a picture of the foyer light so he could accurately give me a quote for ladder rental, requirement for 2 guys, etc.  - The 2 gentlemen who came out were efficient, professional, and had both lights done in 2 hours.  Quote was spot on.  Would recommend them to anyone.

I had a problem that two other local electric companies couldn't fix - pulling wire up to a second floor laundry to turn a 20 amp outlet into a 30 amp outlet.  Well, one of them wanted to charge a small fortune to attempt it, and another said he didn't think it could be done.  Carlos came out with a helper, looked things over, and had me fixed up the same day.  He stopped by later with two cover plates to choose from, which he didn't even have to do, in my opinion.  Was super professional and friendly the whole time.  And the price I paid was reasonable.  

So it's not like I hope I have future electrical problems or anything, but if I do I'm never calling anyone else as long as I live in River Forest.

Tom and his crew do such great work! Highly recommend them. They installed 4 outdoor outlets in our yard and also trenched wires underground so they were no longer exposed to the elements. They were on time, flexible, and just care about doing the job right. Tom is a really nice guy who walks you through all the work ahead of time. Don't hesitate to reach out to him!

Ted changed out fixtures throughout our house, including a difficult chandelier in our dining room. He also fixed a hot outlet and looked at our garage electrical. He was on time, fairly priced, and did great work. We'll be using him again.

Alex did a great job replacing a broken switch. He responded quickly to my initial request and was fast in communicating throughout the scheduling process. We are very happy with the quality of work.
We'll likely have to have most of our old wiring replaced and are looking forward to have Alex and his team back. Seems to be a newer company, and I'm glad we took a chance on them.

While I did not get to the point of using their services I did get to schedule an appointment.  I experience a quick response from them.  That is why I gave them a three star

However, I was told by Fixer today, after I had already scheduled my appointment, that they are currently not servicing 60623.  It would be good if they updated the map because their map service area completely includes 60623.  

I was really looking forward to their work.
