Best Water Heater Installation in San Jose CA

My AC wasn't working and Kostas came over to help. He had a very polite, professional attitude and accurately identified the issue. He proposed what he believed to be the best solution at a reasonable price and within 1 hour my AC started to work again. If/when I need a service again, I will be a returning customer and ask Kostas to come over. I give this company an A+. Thank you for your help.

We had an issue with the power outlet for the refrigerator. AY EMP was very accommodative in scheduling the work and they were systematic and patient to find what the issue was. Will definitely be using their services again.

I had an outdoor electrical outlet the powers our outdoor lighting and watering systems that was not working.  I texted Chuck and he texted me back with several things to check (breakers, GFCI reset) in case I could fix it myself quickly.  None of those worked, so he was able to come out quickly and install a new outlet, after discovering that the old outlet was defective.  He was really good to work with, and I'd recommend him highly.

Had a good experience with Bellows when we had a sewer project in the Santa Cruz area. Called them for another project in the South Bay where we had sewer water overflowing in the front yard. Was able to get an appointment for inspection/evaluation in a matter of a couple of days. However, even before showing up for the in-person appointment, the Tech called ahead to clarify what we were experiencing and told me that it might be an issue covered by the city and I should consult them first before having a paid service call by Bellows -- as it was likely a lateral drain/sewer line blockage covered by the city. Sure enough, the city Sanitary District Dept came out to take a look and said it was in fact their job to clear the blockage close to the main. Thanks Bellows for the excellent customer service!

I had two outlets in my apartment that posed an electrical hazard.  I contacted Gustavo and he was able to do the work right away, which I really appreciated.  He was very clean and conscientious.  He explained the work he was doing, set down a blanket to avoid making any mess, and vacuumed up at the end.  Really happy to have safe electrical in this place again :)  Thanks Gustavo!

I had a punch list of 8 or so items around my house and yard that have needed attention ranging from light painting, fixing a door panel, and installing bookshelf brackets.  Norman came and did it all efficiently and expertly, and he charged a very reasonable price.  He is polite, professional, and did great work.  I will definitely hire him again.

Nick is a great handyman. He is very professional, reliable, and trustworthy. He does small jobs and big jobs. He recently prepared my house for painting by removing, repairing, replacing all the dry rot on the outside of my house.

We hired anytime handyman for installing our 8'x12' storage room and our 14'x12' gazebo in our backyard. They did a really good job on installing these 2 as these 2 items are not only very heavy but also come with complicated installation guide. They finished the installation by 2 days and we checked the two things, all finished with great quality and they also installed some hangers and bars inside the storage room, with very good details. We are very impressed by their work, and will definitely hire again in the future. Highly recommend them! (Check the photos to see how good the installation are:))

Kenny Jason was our technician. He did a great job explaining the work and what he found.  Very professional and extremely clean. I also added on a bit of work and he took care of that all in the same visit. He went and got a product from their office and came back and installed them.  He also explained the MVP program and how I can use it. All in all a very pleasant experience.

This review is for the team of Chris, Carlos, and Sebastian.  They put in a new outside electrical panel and they needed access to my entire home and yard to complete the project.  

Each of them were nice and respectful of my home, my garden, and my family.  I appreciate when contractors can appreciate their job as well as the customer's home and boundaries.  They also cleaned up after themselves and there was no evidence of them being here.

Gave me a fair quote over yelp, and was at my house the afternoon of the same day. On Labor Day!

Installed a 14-50 outlet in the garage. Jose was responsive and price was half the other estimates from other contractors. They even accommodated to my request of installing a Ring floodlights for a small additional fee. I would work with them again and recommend to everyone as well.

We had a minor gas leak earlier in the day, which resulted in an emergency PG&E visit and having our gas shut off. With no gas, we were told to find a contractor to repair the leak.

We called General SF around 2pm, and by 4.30pm Yevgeny came around to fix the problem. He was extremely friendly and communicative, going out of his way to explain what the problems were, and what he was doing to fix them. After about an hour and a half, he had fixed the gas (stripped and resealed several joints), and even went out of his way to fix some unrelated plumbing problems with the sink!

I highly recommend Yevgeny. He's exceptionally friendly, knows his stuff, thorough, and diligent.

I will happily rely on General SF again.

They record your calls. They don't even work for me yet and they're already treating me like a freakin' FBI suspect.  

I sent them a picture of the problem but supposedly they couldn't see it because they claimed they didn't have access to their own yelp account!

Wanted me to identify what kind of fittings I had.  How am I supposed to know? I'm not a plumber and that's why I sent a detailed and labelled picture.  

I asked them to send the picture to the plumbers so they would know?  No, supposedly they don't have the capability of sending pictures to a plumber's phone!!!!

Oh and they would charge me to even bid on the work.  

Too many red flags. Hard pass.

Hooray Samuel! We had a project that required installing lots of baseboards and doing quite a bit of drywall/taping/mudding in a room we are updating. Not only did Samuel do it faster than expected, but the results are BEAUTIFUL!! I'd give 6 stars if I could. Thanks Samuel, we love it!

I am writing on behalf of Mr. Jonathan V. I recently experienced a water leakage in my water heater. Given my limited budget I had to do lots of research to find the most affordable and trusted company to replace my water heater. Several technicians from different companies came to give their assessment and their pricing.  Mr. Jonathan V.'s assessment was super helpful because it alerted me to the gas valve that was too old. And may have had leaks.  When I later called him and told him about smelling gas in that area, he instructed me to call the PG&E which is something I didn't know I could do. The PG&E technician detected a gas leakage and fixed it immediately. Mr. Jonathan V.'s feedback saved my life!! I If he had not picked up the phone or if he was not kind enough to share his knowledge with me, I don't know what could have happened. Praise GOD!  Also, he tried to open up the water shut off valve, but he soon realized it was broken inside which was important for me to know.  He spent quality time with me for my better understanding of the many plumbing issues not just the water heater. Thank GOD. For example, he alerted me to a leak in the wall in my downstairs caused by an issue from upstairs. He checked three bathrooms to identify the source. He checked my laundry detergent and the flushing of the toilet upstairs. He also pointed an issue about the way I had installed my water filter at the faucet that I may need to resolve.  Overall, he went beyond the call of duty to help me become educated about what needed repair and what was functioning fine etc.. And I highly recommend him.  Thank you.

Props to Lar,  for doing a great job! He went above and beyond, he is very professional and polite he stayed for about 2 hrs doing a thorough job looking at my AC and Furnace he checked everything, connected some loose wires and retaped ducts that are detached . Thank You so much!!!! He explained that I will be needing duct work, he took some pictures and showed it to me, I already knew they need replacing, so I made another appointment to get an estimate, hopefully it will be reasonable so they can get my business, according to Lar Technician they will price match if I get a lower price elsewhere. I really like dealing with Service Champions this is the second time I used them and planning to join there SILVER PLAN $11.95/month to get the incentives like special treatment  and discount to get my duct work done!
