These guys showed up prompt and on time. They were friendly and quoted me on a job. They were the highest price by 40% so I went with someone else but if work reflects promptness they appear very good.  And will reach out for plumbing in future just not electrical.

I had all my toilets, showers and tubs back up.  We had feces and all sorts of stuff coming back into the house. I tried my normal plumber multiple times but it was after hours and he wasn't answering the call. I called a couple people for recommendations and Bob's name came up. He was the ONLY one that answered the phone at 9:00PM. He told me a few old school remedies to try first. When those didn't work he said he would be here first thing in the morning.

Bob showed up bright and early. He even got here before the other plumbers called me to see what was going on.

He fixed everything including an issue that a previous plumber had told me would require opening the walls and fixing some plumbing issues. The truth is that that plumbing company installed an off-name prt that was creating the problem. Bob found it and fixed it instantly.

Not only is he quick and professional but also extremely fair priced.

I was referred to NTX plumbing by my long time plumber who has retired.  Unfortunately, they were nothing like him.  What should have been a simple call out to investigate a slow drain/replace a kitchen faucet was upcharged up to $400.  Lesson learned, I will not rely solely on recommendations, and always get an exact price quote up front.  

They charged a flat rate on the faucet replacement of $250.  They then charged me $60 material cost on new shut off valves.  I looked online, and I can buy the same shut off valves for $4 a piece at a home depot (as a consumer before contractor discounts).  They also charged me separately $10 for plumbing tape/putty.  They also charged me $55 to clean out the PVC pipe.  Mind you this was not replacing PVC piping, it was literally 30 seconds of them cleaning out the existing piping.  

So for less than 90 minutes of repair work, the total bill came out to $400.  I tried calling into the office to talk with someone prior to posting, and was told someone would call me right back, but that hasn't happened.  

I'm all for paying a fair price for expertise, but I was nickel and dimed for $150 on top of an already expensive rate.  I wouldn't trust their quotes - they're going to upcharge you like they did me.  Hope you all can learn from my mistakes.

Bad experience - I had called a plumber to come find out about my water heater.  it was not working and was only a couple years old.  They tried to get me to replace it for well over 1500.  But to give me a quote to fix it......
After waiting a long time (week and a half) to get a final price - I was frustrated.  BTW it was over $1200 to fix with no guarantee.

GOOD EXPERIENCE - JR's Plumbing
I called JRS and they were most helpful.  they sent someone out who checked it out and simply had to light my water heater.  there was no problem with my water heater, turns out the city was doing something to the line in the street.  JRS got me fire in my water heater and charged me nothing.  they made a couple recommendations for improvements to make the house more sell able.  when I need a plumber - I am calling these guys first, no more wasting my time with those other fools.

So about a month ago, one afternoon I walked out into my garage and saw a rather sizable puddle of water in the middle of the floor.  Huh??  I looked around (why, I don't know).  Then I looked up.  Oh f@#k!  I ran upstairs and opened the door to the attic space where the water heaters and one of the hvac systems is located and there it was - water coming out of a small hole in a pipe by one of the water heaters.  Water was shooting out horizontally, hitting a wall, and running downward - through the ceiling of my garage.  I tried to turn off the water supply to the water heater, but nothing happened.  Panic!

Anyway, I didn't have a plumber that I liked (I deal with almost all the tradespeople who have to come to our house - poor things - and I decide who will come back).  I'd tried about three since we moved here, but none of them screamed 'I want to be your regular plumber'.  So I called my regular HVAC company and asked them to recommend someone and they gave me the number for Arty's Plumbing.  I called Arty's and explained my problem to the person who answered and guess what?  He actually sounded concerned about my emergency and said someone would be there within an hour.  In less than an hour, Frank arrived, assessed the problem, turned off the water to the water heaters and to the house and proceeded to repair the leak.  From the time I found the puddle in the garage to the time the problem was fixed was less than three hours, and that included Frank having to make a trip for a piece of hardware.

AND, the cost was very reasonable (I thought).  When he handed me the bill, I couldn't believe it was so low.  And Frank was very nice.  He also either didn't make a mess or he cleaned up after he was done.  Either way, there was no mess for me to deal with.

AND after all this, the worst thing we have is a water stain on the garage ceiling.  My car (that was just washed that morning for the first time in a couple months) didn't even get dripped on.  Now how lucky is that?!

Anyway, they don't know it yet, but Arty's Plumbing is now my regular plumber.  I sure hope they don't scare easily...

Wow, I can't say enough good things about Nathaniel and this company.  What a pro!  He really knows what he's doing and gets right down to it.  I feel very fortunate I found this outfit and I will be using them for all my plumbing needs in the future.  Very prompt, professional, friendly and basically all-around nice person who wants to help and is highly competent - all for a VERY reasonable price.

Public Be Warned!! This company has ruined my elderly and very sick parents nice Dallas home! Since Riddell was hired by my family a few years ago the plumbing in the home has NEVER worked properly with toilets not flushing and severe leaks and water damage in the home! I came to Dallas with my children for Christmas. We arrived and found water leaking into the downstairs closets and into the second floor bathrooms, and water was profusely leaking from the upstairs toilets (Riddell very recently installed) to the bathroom from the freaking light fixtures! I immediately contacted the horrific plumbers and asked them to come to the home on a emergency basis. The woman who answered was very rude and could not even give me a time frame when the idiot plumbers would arrive! The Managers could not be bothered either. HOURS later the technicians arrived and I asked what the hell was happening! This technician said I don't work for you! And he left!!! This awful (want to be tech.)came back only after my sick mother called and begged the company to return to help with the flooding into the entire second floor! Riddell plumbers fixed nothing and left the home a complete disaster with only 1 working toilet, no showers, and a home full of children and elderly! We had to leave the home early so we could shower!!! Monday the technicians finally showed again and somehow talked my mother (who has cancer and dementia) Into calling the owner of Riddell pluming to apologize!!!! Again the technicians somehow convinced my mother to call the owner and apologize for my google/Facebook reviews! Does anyone realize how bad this is!!! The idiot plumbers are also charging for a water restoration company they should be paying for! This company is trying to convince my sick mother this was a root problem! No this is a severe company and employee problem who prey on the sick and elderly! Can't wait to see the outrageous bills these thieves charge my mom for problems they created and have blamed on roots!!! Please never ever call this company! They will ruin your home, the employees are rude, incompetent, and manipulating! Only contact them if you have an attorney who works in the family!!!

Had an issue with my dishwasher/garbage disposal and called Texas Green Plumbing. Came out very fast and the plumbers were very professional and very nice. After finding out that there was just a small user error issue they handed me the bill and it was $200 after 15 minutes of investigation. I was told the charge for them to come out was $80 which I was totally prepared to pay to have them out so fast but they added another $80 for a tool charge. If they used a tool I didn't see it and whatever was used could not have been much larger then a screw driver as I was in the kitchen for most of the 15 minutes. Again, no issue paying $80 for them coming out, but charging nearly $100 because they pulled a screw driver out of their pocket? Felt scammed.

On time, knowledgeable, friendly, professional plumbers. And here I was thinking that was an extinct breed. These guys are the best.

Abe of Strittmatter Plumbing, Heating, and AC repaired the water main line to my home and I could not be happier with everything about his work and his demeanor! Abe was very professional, always on time, extremely knowledgable, and very clearly FAIR and HONEST (which is So, SO important to me!). Abe did excellent work on what was a fairly complicated job. I felt like I was in such good hands from start to finish. And that's exactly how I like to feel when somebody's working on my home. For me, that feeling of confidence and trust is worth everything! The support staff at Strittmatter was also completely above and beyond -- they were EXCEPTIONAL -- in regards to their personal approach, their kindness, professionalism, timeliness, helpfulness, you name it. I can not thank Oscar and team enough for helping us replace our entire plumbing system!! We purchased our home a year ago and discovered within the first few weeks of living here that our entire plumbing system needed to be replaced asap. Talk about complete nightmare. Over the course of 9 months we received multiple quotes from different plumbing companies (all telling us different things) averaging over 40,000 dollars! I've worked with Mark and had a great experience.  So yesterday when I noticed a hissing sound in my wall I called him immediately.  He had Austin and Eli come out that same day.  They diagnosed the issue and worked on a resolution.  They were able to make the repair yesterday before the end of the day.  They were both so knowledgeable and polite!  I also felt the pricing was very fair.  I would recommend RWD to anyone with plumbing or slab leak issues! Great job!

Great service and honest upfront pricing! I had a difficult plumbing job and have been quoted $1000 minimum by another company but these guys did it quickly and for less even though they found a problem with the structure of my house that made it more difficult than the other company had even thought. Highly recommend!

Our kitchen floor had felt warm for several weeks, then one Saturday we came home and found water slowly coming up around the cabinets.  We called another plumbing company but they couldn't come out until that next Tuesday.  That company, however, gave us The Plumber's info, and Curt (the owner) himself was out at our house within a couple hours. He thoroughly investigated and found that we had a hot water Slab Leak...  He was very personable and professional, took the time to explain everything to us, gave us a flat price to fix it (which was better than we had feared), and started to work right then.  He fixed our leaking pipe, (buried four feet below), and only had to break  ONE 17 Travertine tile to fix it!  Amazing!!!  He protected our property with plastic sheeting while he worked, and did a great job cleaning up as well.  He was Fast, Fair, and a very good plumber.  Highly Recommended!

We had a bit of an emergency and ended up contacting Icon Plumbing after the home warranty plumbing company failed to show up twice. Condy and Ryan were both amazing!!!! Condy stayed late the 1st night ensuring everything he could do was completed for the night and Ryan went above and beyond coming out several times the next day to complete the repairs and ensure everything was working correctly. We ran into a bit of a glitch (not plumbing related), Ryan made sure we had a plan for getting someone out the next day to repair our other problem and did not leave until he was sure there was no safety issues. We will definitely use them in the future with no hesitation. Highly recommend!!!

Can't even give them one star. Had them come out to poly jack our driveway. They claimed they put 300lbs in. They couldn't show us the product when we asked. Odd...

It didn't even move the driveway. They claimed they would come back in June, after the original date in April. To add to it and see if they could get it up to the height needed.
Called Heath in June and he told me to call the office. Did that, they promised me they would be back out to see what was going on, in June the 6th. It's now July 18, 2019 and they still haven't made it out and they won't return calls. Gave them 3300 and as the song goes. Take the money and run..... Stay away from this outfit. It's apparent they only want your money.

I called A #1 Air for service on my A/C unit, they told me that I could have service today, I almost fell out of my chair. The service fee was reasonable, they called when they said they would. The technician was nice and respectful. Quick and efficient and we will be calling on them again! Thanks guy!!!
