Once my foundation was re-leveled, a hydrostatic test was done to check outflow and inflow of water. It was found that I had a leak under my house and based on a recommendation received from my regular plumber who does not work under houses I called CTX Plumbing for help.
They sent a couple Plumbers to check it and send a camera through the main pipes and found that I indeed had a crack and leak in the sewer line.
CTX then gave me a competitive price for the work needed and sent two more plumbers to go under the house and make the repair once a tunnel was dug to get to the leak
CTX sent another couple plumbers to the house today who did a great job of repairing the sewer line leak and while they were doing that found a second cracked pipe under my master tub. They went to work repairing that leak and solved the problem quite well.
In all, they were here for about 5 hours. The plumbers that did the work were conscientious, polite, professional, and took great care not to drag mud through the house.
I am very happy with the work CTX and their crews did to solve my plumbing problems and would recommend them to anyone.

I have used Bob and his crew at my home and commercial building on numerous occasions. Even wasted my time with a second opinion once! I don't always like what he has to tell me but at least I know I am getting the straight poop and a fair deal.

I called a plumber out and was charged $750 to do an emergency job. I overpaid by about $700, so this go round, I called these guys, they figured out the problem within minutes, provided a quote, AND told us how to fix it ourselves for cheaper if we wanted to go that route. After trying many plumbers in the DFW area, I have now found my go-to plumber. Cannot recommend enough!!
Dallas, TX
I am a huge fan of these guys.
Bad experience - I had called a plumber to come find out about my water heater. it was not working and was only a couple years old. They tried to get me to replace it for well over 1500. But to give me a quote to fix it......
After waiting a long time (week and a half) to get a final price - I was frustrated. BTW it was over $1200 to fix with no guarantee.
GOOD EXPERIENCE - JR's Plumbing
I called JRS and they were most helpful. they sent someone out who checked it out and simply had to light my water heater. there was no problem with my water heater, turns out the city was doing something to the line in the street. JRS got me fire in my water heater and charged me nothing. they made a couple recommendations for improvements to make the house more sell able. when I need a plumber - I am calling these guys first, no more wasting my time with those other fools.

So about a month ago, one afternoon I walked out into my garage and saw a rather sizable puddle of water in the middle of the floor. Huh?? I looked around (why, I don't know). Then I looked up. Oh f@#k! I ran upstairs and opened the door to the attic space where the water heaters and one of the hvac systems is located and there it was - water coming out of a small hole in a pipe by one of the water heaters. Water was shooting out horizontally, hitting a wall, and running downward - through the ceiling of my garage. I tried to turn off the water supply to the water heater, but nothing happened. Panic!
Anyway, I didn't have a plumber that I liked (I deal with almost all the tradespeople who have to come to our house - poor things - and I decide who will come back). I'd tried about three since we moved here, but none of them screamed 'I want to be your regular plumber'. So I called my regular HVAC company and asked them to recommend someone and they gave me the number for Arty's Plumbing. I called Arty's and explained my problem to the person who answered and guess what? He actually sounded concerned about my emergency and said someone would be there within an hour. In less than an hour, Frank arrived, assessed the problem, turned off the water to the water heaters and to the house and proceeded to repair the leak. From the time I found the puddle in the garage to the time the problem was fixed was less than three hours, and that included Frank having to make a trip for a piece of hardware.
AND, the cost was very reasonable (I thought). When he handed me the bill, I couldn't believe it was so low. And Frank was very nice. He also either didn't make a mess or he cleaned up after he was done. Either way, there was no mess for me to deal with.
AND after all this, the worst thing we have is a water stain on the garage ceiling. My car (that was just washed that morning for the first time in a couple months) didn't even get dripped on. Now how lucky is that?!
Anyway, they don't know it yet, but Arty's Plumbing is now my regular plumber. I sure hope they don't scare easily...

If you are looking for a legitimate master plumber, this is the spot! He's fast, honest, and he definitely knows his craft. Peradventure, thank you coming on a Thursday night and fixing our three compartment sink and other sinks right before our dinner rush!

Excellent customer service. They came out after hours and made sure my plumbing emergency was addressed in the short term, while being able to save the long term work for a later time during regular hours (with regular rates). I won't hesitate to call Riddell again!!

I called this company when I was in quite a pickle as the gas had been turned off at a rental duplex that I own. Roger did get someone over here within an hour or so. The first guy who came said that the crawl space was too small to work underneath the house. I approved them bringing a guy to dig a tunnel to go under the house. At that point I asked Roger what kind of cost I was looking at. He said about $1800 for the plumber and a digger. About is the important word. He did not inform me that he only does flat pricing, no detailed bill at all. He did go the extra mile and jump through a lot of hoops to get the city permit. He charged me $500 for that and I have no quibble with that part of his invoice. On the city permit he estimated the cost of the job at $2000. It took them two days to actually do the job. When the second plumber got here on the first day he was able to get under the house, so the digger was told to leave. The second plumber who came was incredible!!! He knew what he was doing but I have no confidence in the first man to arrive. I did not ask for a firm price because I know how many issues can come up in these old houses. The bill came to $4975 which I thought was outrageous. The two plumbers, one master and the other journeyman, were maybe here 7 hours each day. I think Roger spent at the most 6 hours getting the permit. He told me that they worked 44 hours, there is no way that they worked that long. They spent $500 on parts so nearly $4500 was for labor. Geez, is he a lawyer!! He charged me $275 for the journeyman to come over the next day and take their gauge off and put on 4 flex lines. He left the stove sitting in the middle of the kitchen and was maybe here 20 minutes. I told him that the bill was too high and that I needed it reduced. He said he absolutely would not. He told me that if I didn't pay him the next morning that they would come and tear the new pipe out. Then he said he would call the Dallas police to report me for theft of service. Roger is a very nice guy until you question him and then he got downright mean. I was fully prepared to pay $3500. Careful, careful ,careful if you choose this company. I'll never use them again.

Amazing people and amazing work! I 100% recommend this plumbing company. I initially did my research for a reputable plumbing company and these guys kept popping up everywhere I looked.
They arrived on time for each appointment, in which my plumbing issue required a couple of days to complete due to the rain and the digging they needed to perform. The employees were friendly, professional, courteous and kept me informed of everything they were doing.
In the end, they fixed my issue, which was a rotted out drain sewer feed pipe underneath the house.
Couldn't be happier.

These are some of the good guys! I've been through a lot of plumbers and they are honest, fair priced and on time. A second leak occurred immediately after a disposal was replaced and they came right back out and didn't charge again.

The nicest dispatcher / customer service from Ashley, who answers the inquiry calls.
Even though they were booked up, she spent the time on the phone troubleshooting with me, and ultimately provided a referral vendor.

I had a water supply line leaking under the sidewalk. That was leaking a large amount of water daily. I called Drip Doctor, spoke with Owner DJ. He came by the house late afternoon on a Saturday. Inspected my leak and gave me a very considerate and fair price for repair. I have recommended DJ to my friends and neighbors. I will call Drip Doctor DJ for Plumbing Repairs moving forward. .

I will continue to make True Plumbing my first call.

Curt was absolutely incredible. My mom and I had a massive leak coming from our backyard faucet that we tried to fix ourselves, but in doing so we loosened something behind the brick that shot out like a geyser. We called the closest place which was The Plumber. We shut off the water to the house and Curt was able to come out a little over an hour later. He took one glance at it and let us know he would be done in about half an hour. He cut into the brick, replaced the whole faucet and re-sealed the brick for $200. This guy is awesome and has saved my mom quite the water bill :/

AWFUL. Dealing with Olshan was the most horrible customer service experience of my life. Everyone was polite on the surface, but they strung me along for MONTHS before they finally stopped responding to my emails and phone calls altogether. Olshan wanted my neighbors to sign a ridiculous form allowing Olshan workers to access their property, but saying that no matter what the workers did, my neighbors could not hold Olshan accountable. Obviously no one is going to sign a form like that. I pointed this out to my Olshan contacts. As I said above, they then strung me along for months with promises that they would take care of the problem, and I could rest assured that my repair job - now months overdue - would be prioritized as soon as everything was cleared up. Needless to say, they never fixed anything with their contract. Eventually they simply stopped responding to my queries for the status of the contract and my repair job in general. Now I've wasted months. They're awful.

I used 1 star because 0 was not an option.
I received a call in December of 2014 to schedule annual inspection of heating units. What this really turned out to be was my opportunity to finance a sales call for A#1 Air. Upon visiting our home the (commission sales) technician inspected our heating units and indicated that both were in terrible condition and should be replaced. To quote there is oil sprayed inside and they won't last any longer. (From here forward I will desist in referring to this individual as a technician and refer to him as 'a commission salesman').
The commissioned salesman was most intent on selling us a service plan and we had to sign up that evening otherwise we would not receive the '10% discount'. We signed up knowing we could cancel. My inclination was not to doubt the salesman but I was certainly going to verify. The estimate he provided was $5K to $7K. As he said you can schedule any day to have your new heating systems installed.
Over the next 2 days we had a second and third opinion from 2 specifically non-commissioned heating and cooling outfits. Both informed us that there was no physical problem with our units. Yes they were old (installed in '99) but both could conceivably function for years. The one technician said I don't know what you are referring to when you say 'oil'. There is no 'oil'.
I have cancelled my plan (that notice will be arriving in A#1 Air's mailbox tomorrow or Saturday).
DO NOT CONTACT A#1 Air unless you desire to spend $7K even if there is no problem with your units.
