They have been great in helping us get through our busted pipe. They have been on time and contacted and scheduled what we needed. Extremely knowledgeable and great customer service.

Had a leak in my front yard from a copper valve that I didn't need. It was completely removed, did the work for me when I wasn't home. I came back at the end of the job and everything looked good. Didn't shop around, used these guys because they do work for my church. Seemed like a fair price.

Forgettaboutit...these guys are awesome. I had a leak in the bathroom that destroyed baseboards and lower portion of surrounding walls. I opened the wall as I thought it was a pipe leak. I had a plumber come in who spent about 45 minutes looking at the pipes and said that it was a slab leak and I'd need an expert who couldn't be here until 7 days later. Meanwhile, water is leaking in, we are vacuuming every 30 minutes and shutting off main to the house--with 3 girls in the house--i'm fighting a way here!!. After that plumber left, I'm feeling like a mule kicked me knowing the cost a slab leak is and the destruction to the house it will take to fix. Anyway, called a bunch of leak detection places and one seemed worse than the next (whether it be their pricing or their availability). I saw NTX on Yelp and the reviews. Called and immediately felt that they were going to be able to help. Maya (I believe is her name) moved the schedule around on short notice and was able to get 2 plumbers (Scott and Brian) out the house within hours. Scott walked me through every consideration as he analyzed the situation like a detective. It was actually impressive to watch. Anyway, after going through the different possibilities he determined that it was not a slab leak at all (OH YEAH!!!) but the waste pipe had a small leak from the upstairs bathroom. My fix went from astronomical slab repair and sonar leak detection, to a PVC waste pipe replacement. Brian and James were back at the house within the hour and fixed it the same day. I can't tell you how happy we are to have found NTX. The damage this leak caused was bad, but it could have been a lot worse. Scott, Brian and James got us to resolution quick and at an extremely reasonable price. Finding a straight shooting, honest, professional, talented, trustworthy and methodical master plumber, and team, feels impossible. We lucked out. I'm relieved that I know who to call anytime we have a plumbing issue--in fact, i'm having them back to do preventative work in all bathrooms as it is that time for this age house. I called a lot of plumbers for this, and previous jobs, I hope to save any reader some time by recommending you call them first. THANK YOU!

I am a huge fan of these guys.
Bad experience - I had called a plumber to come find out about my water heater. it was not working and was only a couple years old. They tried to get me to replace it for well over 1500. But to give me a quote to fix it......
After waiting a long time (week and a half) to get a final price - I was frustrated. BTW it was over $1200 to fix with no guarantee.
GOOD EXPERIENCE - JR's Plumbing
I called JRS and they were most helpful. they sent someone out who checked it out and simply had to light my water heater. there was no problem with my water heater, turns out the city was doing something to the line in the street. JRS got me fire in my water heater and charged me nothing. they made a couple recommendations for improvements to make the house more sell able. when I need a plumber - I am calling these guys first, no more wasting my time with those other fools.

So about a month ago, one afternoon I walked out into my garage and saw a rather sizable puddle of water in the middle of the floor. Huh?? I looked around (why, I don't know). Then I looked up. Oh f@#k! I ran upstairs and opened the door to the attic space where the water heaters and one of the hvac systems is located and there it was - water coming out of a small hole in a pipe by one of the water heaters. Water was shooting out horizontally, hitting a wall, and running downward - through the ceiling of my garage. I tried to turn off the water supply to the water heater, but nothing happened. Panic!
Anyway, I didn't have a plumber that I liked (I deal with almost all the tradespeople who have to come to our house - poor things - and I decide who will come back). I'd tried about three since we moved here, but none of them screamed 'I want to be your regular plumber'. So I called my regular HVAC company and asked them to recommend someone and they gave me the number for Arty's Plumbing. I called Arty's and explained my problem to the person who answered and guess what? He actually sounded concerned about my emergency and said someone would be there within an hour. In less than an hour, Frank arrived, assessed the problem, turned off the water to the water heaters and to the house and proceeded to repair the leak. From the time I found the puddle in the garage to the time the problem was fixed was less than three hours, and that included Frank having to make a trip for a piece of hardware.
AND, the cost was very reasonable (I thought). When he handed me the bill, I couldn't believe it was so low. And Frank was very nice. He also either didn't make a mess or he cleaned up after he was done. Either way, there was no mess for me to deal with.
AND after all this, the worst thing we have is a water stain on the garage ceiling. My car (that was just washed that morning for the first time in a couple months) didn't even get dripped on. Now how lucky is that?!
Anyway, they don't know it yet, but Arty's Plumbing is now my regular plumber. I sure hope they don't scare easily...

If you are looking for a legitimate master plumber, this is the spot! He's fast, honest, and he definitely knows his craft. Peradventure, thank you coming on a Thursday night and fixing our three compartment sink and other sinks right before our dinner rush!

After a very disappointing experience with another plumber, I found Mark and Sunshine Plumbing. So glad I did. He listened, communicated well, arrived when he said he would, took care of business and was reasonably priced. Can't do much better than that when it comes to a plumber!

Young man who was suppose to give us an estimate couldn't come any time after 2pm {early tee time I guess} and then blew in and blew out. Never called back with said estimate. Sorry excuse of an employee if you ask me. Total waste of our time. Make sure to ask for Granite if you want someone lazy with no customer service skills. Ridiculous really.

The plumber showed up on time and did do the job he was asked to do, which was to replace a shut off valve for a toilet. It is literally less than half an hour of work and less than $20 in parts and they charged my wife $360! Unfortunately she didn't know any better when she was quoted the estimate. I wish I could have been available. So, if you are a woman that wants to taken for granted these guys will to the job and rake you over the coals at $700+ an hour.

I was referred to Speake's plumbing from a sheetrock guy. They showed up on time, replaced 5 bathroom faucets with new valves/water lines and a toilet within 4 hours. They were professional, courteous, and, reasonable, fast. I highly recommend them.

Replaced a couple of water heaters on second floor and took great care to get the old ones out, the new ones in and installed without issues.

Elsewhere (not on Yelp) I saw a few favorable reviews for Benton Plumbing of Benbrook, so I took a chance and called them about a leaky faucet (not an emergency).
The receptionist told me that they had an opening for the next Tuesday (I had requested a Monday or Tuesday appointment). She said the plumber would arrive between 11 and noon.
Tuesday, 10:45 a.m., Benton's called, saying the plumber was on his way. He (Paul) arrived at 11 sharp. He fixed my two bad faucets quickly (he did have to go to a nearby hardware store to get the proper fittings for my particular faucets).
Very reasonable charge ($85 per hour, plus parts).
I was very pleased! I asked for extra cards so I could spread them around the house (I tend to lose such cards).
Highly recommended!
Updated May 15, 2014: I have had occasion to use Benton's two more times since my original review. The review stands. Excellent service indeed!

This company is by far the best I've ever dealt with. I had a complex leak that most others would have attempted to get to, quit, and charged a huge bill. NOT THEM. They were determined to help me on a personal level, solved a complicated issue and were more than fair on price. I can't say enough about them. Edward and crew are the best!!

Drip Doctor Plumbing is the best. The owner Dj is reliable, affordable, experienced and honest. He has done multiple jobs in our home and work done is great. I would recommend this company for all your plumbing needs

This company is outstanding. Randy and his team were able to locate our leaks before the work was done. He and his team are very professional and leave your home very clean when you come home for the evening. His pricing is very fair and I will recommend him to anyone I know who may need slap leak repair.

I had a pluming issue late at night. Called around 10:00pm, got an answer, a cost estimate as well as an estimate for an arrival time the next morning.
The service tech was prompt, friendly and did an excellent job.
I would recommend this company and will use then again.

Our kitchen floor had felt warm for several weeks, then one Saturday we came home and found water slowly coming up around the cabinets. We called another plumbing company but they couldn't come out until that next Tuesday. That company, however, gave us The Plumber's info, and Curt (the owner) himself was out at our house within a couple hours. He thoroughly investigated and found that we had a hot water Slab Leak... He was very personable and professional, took the time to explain everything to us, gave us a flat price to fix it (which was better than we had feared), and started to work right then. He fixed our leaking pipe, (buried four feet below), and only had to break ONE 17 Travertine tile to fix it! Amazing!!! He protected our property with plastic sheeting while he worked, and did a great job cleaning up as well. He was Fast, Fair, and a very good plumber. Highly Recommended!

I'm not sure where we came up with their card, probably from a neighbor, but when we needed a cartridge replaced inside the knob for our tub, we gave them a call. First thing to rub me the wrong way was that he 30 minutes late for our 9am-12pm window. I took off a morning of work for this and I understand you drove from wherever and there was traffic, but give me some notice so I can give my office some notice.
I told him where the water shut-off was for our building, and he disappeared outside for 20 minutes. Once he gets back upstairs he starts going over the costs with me, before he starts the work. I definitely appreciated that because the cost BLEW ME AWAY. He wanted $582 to replace a $25 cartridge and a $35 knob. He wanted approximately $330 for the actual repair, $175 for what he described as the labor for walking from [my] unit on the 2nd floor, to the water-shut-off valve on the 1st floor. Which, coincidentally, was less than 50 feet from where he had parked his truck.
Finally, he wanted $79 for some kind of warranty service plan that gave me a discount on any future visits. I told him to remove the warranty; I didn't need it. But, without the discount the warranty provided, the cost of the repair went up to $400 and the labor went up to $190. With the discount plus the cost of warranty it would have only saved me $10 total. What a scam! Not to mention he had quite an attitude that I would question his pricing methods. I sent him on his way. He might have done a stellar job, but it wouldn't have been worth that price. I was willing to pay a little extra to not have to go to the trouble myself, but $582.00 for a plumber versus $60.00 at Home Depot is a no-brainer.

Rip off.
When I hired the company to add 4 new beams and repair all the other existing beams, I was told it would take 2 days. So I agreed to the price. They came out and were done in 3-1/2 hrs. No discount on the price. If I had been told the work would be completed in 4 hrs I would not have agreed to the price.

I have two units. A few years ago they both went out the same day! How in the heck does that happen? I called A#1 air and they came right out. My problem is that the tech told me that unit #1 needed a capacitor replaced (which is common) but that it would be $300+. I used to work on A/C back in the 80s so I know it shouldn't be near that much, but I was desperate to get it fixed. The tech told me that the price was high because it was a super-duper capacitor with a great warranty. Whatever.
Unit#2 had no Freon and the tech pointed out a leak in the high pressure line. There was a kink in the line inside the condenser unit by the compressor. How does that happen inside the condenser unit when it has never been worked on before. Strange and suspicious. I was charged over $600 to fix the leak and evacuate and re-charge the system. It took less than an hour. I'm not sure about evacuation procedures these days but it used to take me hours with a vacuum pump to get the moisture out. So this visit cost me over $900.
A#1 called me the next season to see if I wanted some maintenance done. I complained about the over charges and asked to be contacted about it. Nothing.
So anyway, unit#2 stopped working today so I decided to look at it myself. It seems the capacitor is out (bulging and very low voltage output). After researching online to get the part I find that they cost about $15-$20, so I am confirming that I was overcharged before.
