I find myself in one of those rare situations in which 5 stars are not enough. I wish I had found them years ago! I would have saved myself a lot of headaches. And money! In fact, when I showed him what another plumber charged me, and for what, his response was, you got robbed with no gun. Well, no more getting robbed for me: from now on I'm sticking with Fastplumbing247. You should do the same. My new water heater looks great, and even my mom was impressed with the work-- and that says a lot. Thanks, guys.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Good thing I took that dip wads review with a grain of salt. I have hired Kevin for some smaller demo projects of my old bathroom and kitchen. I will be hiring him for the trim portion of my said kitchen and the new bathroom that I intend on installing in the near future.

I'm in the skilled trades like Kevin and I know for a fact you can't find much better of a craftsman or a more honest and down to earth guy.

I'll refer him to everyone I know needing a plumber.

I called last minute during the weekend with a bad and difficult kitchen sink clogged problem, they sent a technician to my apartment in an hour and also found a broken pipe and replaced it.

Katy and Ivo were great to work with.  On time arrival for the job.  Fast and efficient work!  A leaking wax seal on the toilet was diagnosed and repaired, and the bathroom was cleaned and dried, in less than an hour.  We are very pleased to have found ABV Plumbing!

CJ had to deal with several problems in my newly purchased house:  fixed my powder room water pressure problem and installed new faucet, fixed my shower fixture which was not installed by the contractor properly, installed a new sump pump with backup system, installed clothes washer, and put in new hot water heater.  Everything was top notch and they were very focused on getting things done properly.  They are honest, highly competent and responsible and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others!  I finally have plumbing that works in this house!

I won't comment on the cost as I think most places are at least somewhat over priced. I will say that the job was done expertly and in a timely fashion.

I called up Plumbing Pro's on a Thursday based on the yelp reviews listed here. As others mentioned, a real person picked up and not a machine. Gary was able to squeeze me in that Saturday even though he said they were pretty booked. He even gave me a yelp discount after he asked where I had heard about them.

I wasn't home for the actual install but my sister and father said they were more than impressed with the gentlemen that was sent and said they would definitely use them in the future. We had two faucets installed (one in the kitchen, one in a bathroom) and both look and function well.

Had a problematic front door that wouldn't close properly.  Tim picked up the phone right away - and just happened to be in the neighborhood.  Stopped by and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes.  Rates were very reasonable and I would definitely recommend him as he will now be our one stop shop going forward when needing a friendly neighborhood handyman!  Thanks again!

He was right on time the day of the work in our condo bldg.  He installed a new bath sink faucet and shower head that we had purchased. We also needed new shut off valves that he ran out to the hardware store because we didn't know what size we needed.. He did a great job and was pleasant to work with. Very happy we hired him.

My kitchen sink was leaking badly right before Xmas. Quick response & instructions. He was able to fit me in before the winter storm so I had a new garbage disposal in time for all the Holiday cooking I planned. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

I called Mr. Burris late at night when I came home from work and discovered I had no heat. First thing the next morning Mr. Burris came to my house personally. He very quickly got all of my radiator heaters/ boiler working. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He knew immediately what was wrong with my heat! I will always call Mr. Burris for any of my hearing, or plumbing in the future. While he was here he also gave me a great referral for some electrical work that I need done in my home. My sink was blocked and I called Goode Plumbing who sent our a two-man team within four hours of my call.  Jared and Martin were amazing and diagnosed and fixed my sink problem within ten minutes!!!  This is my second time calling on Goode Plumbing and I am sure it will NOT be my last time!

We've found our forever plumber!

Woke up to our sump pump running continuously and producing a really strong electrical smell from the pit.  Unplugged it immediately and first called a different plumbing service that was recommended by a local Facebook group.... That other plumber's answering service said they would have a plumber call me back. I got tired of waiting for them after a while, so I called Right Away who was able to actually dispatch someone *right away* and Jorge arrived within the hour.

He replaced the dead sump, did a check of our entire system and found a related issue, fixed that, and also installed some other parts throughout the house to help keep things flowing smoothly. All of the work was done fast (but not in a way where I felt like he rushed) and for a cost less than an earlier quote I had for just a sump replacement without diagnostic or preventive work.

Jorge happily described all of the work he was doing and showed a real passion for his work and pride of a job well done.

Friendly, patient, passionate, reasonable prices, and no extra charge for working on Saturday!  With overwhelming many options for plumbers in Chicago, I'm glad to have landed on someone I can trust.

Early Sunday morning my only toilet would not flush.  It's almost impossible to find a plumber on Sunday.  If you do, they charge outrageous fees.  Luckily
I came across the Good Guys.  Dominick came right out & quickly found out it was not an easy fix since it is an old house with very old pipes. The next day a he came out  & started the project.  Later the rest of the crew came out to help.  They worked all day & night finishing the major job.  They did a great clean up & was very fair & reasonable.  They worked very hard on an extremely tough job in a limited space.  If you want a job well done at a fair price, I extremely recommend the Good Guys.

I had called Szabo Plumbing to repair a leaky toilet wax ring on a tenants apartment and was quoted $275, which I considered fair, considering a licensed plumber and fully stocked truck would have to drive there and do the repair. What I didn't consider fair was when the shut off valve didn't work, they charged me an additional $200 to put a new one on. Now I understand if I called them out for just that repair, $200 may be reasonable, but they were already on site for the other repair.
Not to mention they never contacted for any additional approval prior to replacing it, just a text message from the plumber onsite stating the new total would be $475.
I contacted Wade, to discuss the upcharge and was told I actually recieved a discount as they normally charge $250.00 per valve, but he would talk to Kevin himself and see if anything could be done.
As I was away on vacation, I told him I would contact him in A week when we returned.....well, called him twice since returning, NO CALL BACKS.
I decided to check my Credit card, and now see, they not only charged me the $475, plus an additional $14.75, not sure for what reason, as I never received an itemized invoice e-mailed as promised.
I've always considered them fair in past work they had done for me, but as of now, have lost confidence in Szabo Plumbing and will no longer use them, nor recemmend them to friends and family

UPDATE: Upon  Kevin being made aware of this situation , he personnally reached out to me, apologized for the error, and made things right. I will continue to recemmend them and use them as a first choice for my future plumbing needs.
It just shows he is truely compassionate about customer satisfaction, THANK YOU AGAIN KEVIN FOR TAKING TIME OUT OF YOUR BUSY DAY TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS
