We are so happy that we found Mac at Fastplumbing. He took the time to listen to us and walked us through how to figure out which water heater that we needed. These guys were very professional, very knowledgeable, and easy to work with.  They do good work, no doubt.  They tried snaking the drain unsuccessfully and determined the cause of backed up drains in our building. They returned a second time and efficiently resolved the problem by installing a PVC clean out and rodding out the blockage.  They did a good job cleaning up and sanitizing.  The $1804 cost left me kind of gobsmacked and seemed a touch opportunistic.  However, when you need RESCUE Plumbing, what do you expect?  Do your research.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. This outfit is amazing! I used them twice in the last week for some plumbing repairs and the removal of a stacked washer/gas dryer. Very responsive and super easy to schedule. I was able to text them photos before hand. Plumber was knowledgeable, worked clean, and did a great job. Really felt like he knew what he was doing and didn't waste any time doing it. Will definitely use them for any future plumbing issues.

I can't recommend the plumbers from J Sewer & Drain more highly. I'm a board member for my condo association and we've used them multiple times for issues ranging from mysterious leaks in our garage to clogged pipes (and I know owners in our building have used them for single-unit work as well).

They've come out on short notice, they're extremely  professional and fast to diagnose the root cause of an issue, and their prices are very fair. They're honest and give helpful advice for future maintenance upkeep. Our experiences have all been positive and I highly recommend them to others.

I called because we have a spigot on the front of the house that has just a trickle of water.  A spigot, you know, that connects to a pipe in your house through a wall, that you connect your garden house to.  I wanted it evaluated so that I can use it water the front yard, but more importantly to make sure a leak wasn't causing the lack of water pressure.  The woman I spoke to originally said they only do indoor plumbing.  Huh?  Did she think we had a clog in our outhouse? I explained the plumbing for all of this is indoors, and runs through the wall for use with a garden hose. Come on, every house has these.  She said she'd talk to the plumber, and then called back to say the manager said they don't do that kind of work. They don't evaluate pipes with limited flow that may possibly be caused by a  leak.  Good to know. Guess they'd be called a boutique shop, with such limited service.  Or just a really bad plumbing service.

I can't imagine a better plumbing company. I first called them when water stopped draining down our kitchen sink. They came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and cleared it. A few weeks later, when we noticed a leak coming from our closet ceiling, I called right away. They came out quickly again, diagnosed the exact problem, explained why the pipe had corroded, and repaired it with no time wasted. Unlike a lot of companies, these guys have always worked efficiently, accurately, cleanly, at reasonable rates, and got the job done right. This is the only plumber I'll call in the future. Can't say enough good things regarding this company! Very knowledgeable, professional, reliable. Would not quit until the job was working perfectly! Also checked a few other concerns and cleaned up any mess that might have been made! Shocked how very reasonable their fee was especially how difficult the job ended up being. We will be calling them in the future!!!

Upon moving into our town-home we discovered that there was a problem in our upstairs bathroom. Every time we showered there was water leaking through the ceiling into our half bath below. Gary was on time and was able to identify and fix the problem quickly. We are finally able to use our shower again! He also helped us diagnose another issue with the upstairs bath and give us a recommendation for someone who could help us fix it. I would highly recommend his services!

They seem to have done a good job overall, but it was hard to communicate with them. He came fairly quickly to give me a quote and explained everything he was going to do. He seems very knowledgeable about his job and gave me a good price. However, he must be very busy because after I agreed to the quote it was hard to get answers to my questions. Then, he was supposed to return to finish putting the plate on the wall and to adjust the lights as they are motion lights and one of them only turns on for a second and then it goes off, so now I'm left with trying to fix those final minor things. I'm not handy man, so that's just annoying to me.

Just as a follow up, they did come and finish the loose ends. My advice is that if you sense your questions or concerns are not being met, just reach out to the owner of the company, Jesse!

Tim was easy to book, professional. prompt and friendly. Not only did he expertly repair a range of broken items, but I had the most delightful conversation with him. I will definitely be booking him for more tasks in the upcoming months.

Mo is great.  He is quick to respond, and asks for a few measurements that will help speed up his process.

We had a kitchen cabinet that was coming away from the wall.  He had a plan in place and it worked perfectly.

Mo is fast, efficient, safe, and thorough.  This is my first task I brought to him, but I hope to provide him with more work in the future.

Dennis answered my call promptly and was able to come over the next day to help patch my hardwood floors after I scratched them with my drum set's pedal (get a rug, not a mat). Price was reasonable, especially for giving me some piece of mind.

Noe came to our unit to fix a clogged kitchen drain. He is very knowledgeable and kind, and took the time to explain what the issue was and how he planned to address it. The sink was fixed promptly and he even took a look at our bathtub and gave us some parts to prevent future clogging. We're very happy with his service and plan to call him whenever we have another issue!

I called Mr. Burris late at night when I came home from work and discovered I had no heat. First thing the next morning Mr. Burris came to my house personally. He very quickly got all of my radiator heaters/ boiler working. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He knew immediately what was wrong with my heat! I will always call Mr. Burris for any of my hearing, or plumbing in the future. While he was here he also gave me a great referral for some electrical work that I need done in my home. He went over and above and I can truly say that this has been my best home repair service that I have gotten since I moved to Chicago

Goode Plumbing took care of an issue with my shower so quickly. I've been trying to get someone there for the past 6 months and finally was referred to them, thank goodness! They set up the appointment with my tenants and informed me of everything before, to get approval and payment, and then contacted me right away when they were finished.

Called to get quote for installing 2 tubs and 2 water closets.     The job was to install a regular tub not a jacuzzi and the toilets are the same floor mounted toilets we all have in our homes.  The guy tells me he needs to see the new and existing tubs and the toilets.  Right away he started by telling me the drains may be different.   Apparently,  he's used to people thinking there must be something extraordinarily different in your regular homedepot.  With that I can tell he's a high priced scammer.  I'm an architect and deal with contractors all day long.  Don't use this guy.

I called Szabo plumbing for a clog in my master bath. 2 plumbers came out and in fixing the clog released water into my foyer. They cut a hole in my ceiling and left me with it. I spoke with many people at Szabo plumbing including Kevin, who promised a repair. A drywaller called twice and didn't show up both times. Calling Szabo again didn't get any results, so I was left to hire someone to repair my ceiling.
