Best Gas Furnace Repair in Washington DC
I called Plump Right Plumbing later in the day, i thought they wouldn't come over until the next day. Brent came by immediately and stayed until the job was complete.
Since I'm giving up DIY plumbing Plumb Right will be my first call.

If integrity, expertise, alacrity and professionalism mean anything to you, Randy of Brian B. Quick should be at the top of your list. I hired Randy to replace PVC in a bathtub/shower with copper to correct an issue with a tenants tub. He changed his schedule to make the job a priority and installed, in my opinion, a work of art.
I made the mistake of hiring a handyman service, which had high ratings, to do the tile work and the drywall thinking that I would allow the job to be finished quicker to satisfy the tenant. The handyman cut the new copper work associated with the faucet for the tub resulting in the faucet installation being faulty.
Randy redressed the problem by providing a new faucet that would fit the new length of the copper piping and made sure the tenant was satisfied. He also supplied some troubleshooting information on an HVAC unit for another tenant which culminated in the filters being changed in all the units. Brian B. Quick is my go to technician for all plumbing/HVAC needs.

Carlos and his team are true professionals. Great communication, sense of ownership, quality, and price. I hired them for an extensive gas line repair and bathroom remodel. Both projects turned out better than expected. Highly recommend!

Provided okay service. Beware, if you sign up for a maintenance plan, it's attached to the property - no refunds and no transfers.

First hired Thomas E Clark 15 years ago. They are honest, reliable, fair and professional. I've since use them for new AC systems, Heating systems, water heaters. Absolutely the only choice you should make. Sure they don't advertise like the others but they don't need too.

To Charlie H. at Snell: I can't find a way to provide you the information you requested via Yelp. If there is an email where I can reach you, I'll be happy to provide information. UPDATE: A highly competent SNELL technician, Bogdan Neskorodev, came out Sunday afternoon and identified what appears to be a defect in the furnace and it is in the process of being repaired. This was after another company had been willing to come out and get the furnace restarted early Sunday morning. Though Snell did eventually address the issues, it has been a challenging process, as noted in my original post. ORIGINAL POST: We had a new furnace installed by Snell late summer 2020 and have continued routine maintenance with Snell since that time. Three weeks ago we had a routine maintenance check and the following weekend, the furnace went out over night. I called at 6:30 a.m. that Saturday morning (one of the coldest to date) and was told our service window would be between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. I called again at 2 p.m. and was told the tech was running late. At 4:30 the technician appeared, fiddled with the furnace, asked if we had had a power outage (we had not) and got the furnace going again by 5:30. Now it is Sunday morning 1 week later and the furnace went out again on the actual coldest night of the year! I called at 6:30 a.m. this morning and was once again given a service window of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. even though I informed the phone staff both about our lack of heat and the prior servicing. She said we have lots of people without heat. This obviously doesn't speak well for their products or their service! Last week I also left text messages with Snell and was told I would hear back from someone within 4 hours--that never happened. Yes, I am a very dissatisfied customer. This furnace cost about $15K and it should function properly. Snell appears to be strong on sales but weak on product and service. The final result is that at 7 a.m. this morning I called Climatic who scheduled us within the hour. We have to pay for the repair but at least we won't be sitting here all day in a frigid house.

Clover sent 2 technicians to do a service and safety inspection on my HVAC system. I had purchased a condo the day before Clover came out and was praying my HVAC had some life left in it.
The techs were on time, friendly, and transparent. As a new homeowner, I appreciated their willingness to walk me through my system so that I had a general understanding of what they were looking at and how they determined when the system may need to be replaced.
No high-pressure sales. Fair and transparent pricing.
I will definitely be using Clover again.

Not sure if they have changed the ownership. But I heard they changed the management. The quality of service reduced, it becomes pricy, and the people coming to our house aren't very knowledgeable. Stop using them for our plumbing and AC heating.

Called this company to get my AC repair properly diagnosed, after a terrible experience with another company that my home warranty company made me use. Reddick & sons had someone out to repair my unit the same day. Joseph showed up in the time a lot I was provided, quickly identifying the problem and completing the required repair to get my AC up and running. He answered all my questions and their prices seem very reasonable, especially for the quality service they provide. I Highly recommend this company and they will be my go-to for future repairs.

Sean and his team have been incredibly responsive and helpful during my AC outage. They were able to fix my AC within a few days of me reaching out and provided a very reasonable quote and did great work. I've already recommended them to some friends and really appreciate the hard work they did. It's 94° today and I'm chillin in the AC, thank you!!

Wow, Prompt courteous crew! Scott and Austin rate an A+. Several companies have worked on my 2 propane fireplaces over the last few years. It has been an ordeal to keep them working and very costly! Finally OHA has both working safely & I have a company I trust to fix them & not take me to the cleaners. Thank you OHA. Nice to have someone who knows what they are doing!

I have used Pablo (owner) two times now for appliance repair. He is great. He is a dedicated and knowledgeable technician and small business owner. He knows his way around all types of appliances and HVAC systems. Will be using his services for years to come. Highly recommended!

I am very pleased with the wonderful job that Jiffy did today. Mr. Vihn Do is an expert-very knowledgeable and experienced. He gave me a great price and he stuck with it until everything was completed. (He even left to get an extra part...and I didn't have to wait another day!) I am grateful for the gracious Ms. Ellen and the Jiffy staff. Thank you very much!

We had a fair experience with the HVAC installation, but the follow-up and attention to detail post-installation has been frustrating. We spent a great deal of money to have our HVAC unit replaced, but the install team rushed the electrical connections. As a result, the loose connections caused the lights to flicker in the house after they left. They did come back to repair it, free of charge, but with no apologies or recognition that we had to take additional time off work.
We also took more time off work to wait for the county inspection of our unit. John Nugent & Sons made no effort to call us with an update regarding the time of the inspection, despite us calling them three times that day with repeated promises from their staff that they would call us right back. The county inspection ended up being a no show. The inspector showed up the next day, completely unscheduled or unannounced. The inspector also informed us that we would need a gas inspection too - something we were unaware of and this means yet more time off of work.
John Nugent & Sons seemed more than happy to take our money, but made no effort to value our time or customer experience.

Came home today to no heat (and it's freezing outside!)...not even 2 hours after talking to Wes, after hours at that, we have heat again! He was extremely professional, prompt and knowledgeable. Thank you so much for superb service beginning to end!

To fix a PVC pipe that came loose in our septic tank, a work that took 45 minutes, we were charged for the Tech and helper time 2.5 hours. Below is the breakdown.
First hour including travel = $325.00
Second Hour Tech= $160.00
Half hour Tech = $80.00
First Hour Helper = $120.00
Half Hour Helper = $ 60.00
Total Sum of Above $745.00
So we had to pay for the time it took them to get here from their other job and had to pay for the time it took to get back to their next job, plus the helper was a trainee who was learning on the job, so something that could have taken 30 minutes added up to 45 minutes.
We will never be using them again and surely would like to warn everyone.

I got quotes for installing two toilets that needed to be replaced. All of the quotes for the work were pretty close. We chose Real Plumbers since we had used them before for other plumbing jobs & had been satisfied with their work. They did not disappoint. Technicians Jeremy & Justin arrived within the window of time we were given. They were professional, pleasant to have in our home, wore masks for protection, & worked together efficiently. I had envisioned that there would be some level of mess involved with replacing the toilets but they worked neatly, wore shoe covers, covered floors, removed the old toilets, installed the new ones, and cleaned up behind their work. When they left there was no evidence that they had even been here-- except for the beautiful new toilets in place! Thank you Real Plumbers for a job well done -- again!

Agree with other reviewers. Michael & Son has very poor customer service! I made an appointment for them to come only to confirm HVAC is operational before closing on sale of a property. That's it. Their technician came, called me for instructions to access the property which was vacant, then just left without performing the work. I had to call 2 days later to find out the technician had left and no work had been performed.
I then made the mistake of scheduling another appointment with this company. The second time they came, they confirmed and wrote in their reports the HVAC was operational but then tried to solicit more business by writing that the unit was old (which it is) and that I should get it upgraded.
Over the next 3 days, I asked them repeatedly via email and phone to please just write that the unit is operational. They agreed multiple times only to not follow through. I made the same request to another company and they delivered where Michael & Son failed.
But because of Michael & Son, my settlement date was delayed. Avoid this company....
