These guys are great. When I moved into my rental home, the heating and air was on its way out. When it finally quit, Reddick & Sons was assigned to replace the unit. They came out and measured for the new unit and installed it about a week later. The guys doing the install were fantastic. They were friendly, careful with their work, and worked well together. During the day of the install, it was raining, but that didn't affect their attitude at all. The team joked with each other and seemed to make the best of a long day of work. They even brought a package that got delivered inside for me. At the end of the day, they insisted on helping me move my furniture back into place (though I assured them they didn't have to) and made sure I was aware of how the work went and how things should work.
I cannot speak on pricing, since I rent and the owner took care of the AC replacement costs. I can say that these guys were chosen over a different company based on quotes.
Just great work done by great people. Highly recommend.
We had an all-house humidifier installed. I picked Reddick & Sons because they advertise both electrical and HVAC installers, and did so at a reasonable price. The person doing the quote was very knowledgeable. I was super impressed that he was able to quote both the the electrical and HVAC need. He explained what the technician would do, helped me make changes, and let me know about the drywall repairs I would need to make in advance.
The technicians who installed were also super knowledgeable and helpful. We even worked together to come up with a way he could rewire without cutting holes in the drywall. Amazing!
The installation was customized as requested.
Not convinced, here's what puts Reddick & Sons above the others: I had gotten a few quotes and scheduled someone else who was a little more than the others due to their reputation. They showed up on the scheduled day of installation and immediately pointed out they wouldn't be able to do it at the amount quoted because additional electrical work was necessary, oh and they don't do electrical so they'll have to subcontract that, and they'll need an additional quote for that and it would probably be about 50% more... I sent them home, and got a full refund from my deposit.
I called Reddick & Sons because they advertised both electrical and hvac, explained my situation. So just to be on the safe side they sent out an electrician to confirm the quote, but the the quote did not change. And the quote was the SAME as the other guy's and included the full installation - electrical too.
The AC on the main floor of my two zone system failed recently. I acquired four bids from HVAC companies that are highly rated here on yelp. Riddick and Sons had a very competitive bid, and I was impressed by the professionalism of the sales staff who did a good job of educating me about the various options available for my system (it had to match my existing furnace). He patiently answered all my questions, and was very professional both his knowledge and courtesy. He didn't try to upsell me like a couple of the other bidders.
Ricks office staff did a nice job of communicating regarding the scheduling and went out of their way to work with my schedule. Everyone I spoke to on the office. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
I was also impressed with the fact that they actually came out before installation to measure and determine exactly what was needed for the install. That Tech was helpful in answering a couple of preliminary questions that we had about our existing humidifier and drainage pipes.
The installers were very professional as well. They took the time to explain what they were doing and how they were going to do it. The lead installer was very friendly and, again, very courteous. And while I am obviously not an HVAC installer, the end product looked clean and professional and its appearance and they did a nice job of leveling and installing the pad for the new compressor outside.
I have an older heating system, which will likely have to be replaced in the near future and Riddick did such an excellent job with this AC install, they will be my first call.
Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend them.

Reddick just completed a new HVAC installation for us and we couldn't be more pleased. This company is responsive, reliable and easy to work with. We live in a 4-level townhouse with the hvac units on the top outdoor level. Other companies told me that I would have to rent a crane, but Reddick was able to pull it off without one. From Matthew to Jan to Joe, everyone was a pleasure to interact with. I won't hesitate to reach out again for any future hvac, plumbing or electrical needs.

Everything went great, from the initial phone call to the end. There was a slight delay due to an emergency but they kept me informed and still wound up getting here within their original window, so who can complain about that? Everyone was cordial, helpful, and competent. I thought their prices were reasonable, I actually wish I had more for them to do. But when I have another electrical or plumbing issue they will be the ones I call.

Called for a problem with the shower temperature control. Tom came out, looked at it, charged me $69 and said he would get back to me. After one week and no word from the company, I called the office and the lady who answered said she would reach out to Tom and have him call me back. He didn't.
I called the next day and again was told Tom would be calling me. Finally, nine days after the initial visit, Tom called from what sounded like his vehicle in traffic (from the background noise) and said the replacement part would cost me over $600 plus labor to install it and he wasn't even sure it would be the correct part. He indicated that I might want to consider replacing the entire system, letting them tear into the wall and replace the shower head and the body sprays. I asked him to send me something in writing, but he never did.
What a fiasco! Total upsell. Tom obviously did not want to do the job I needed done. And he didn't follow up on anything - the repair, not even selling me the new system!
A friend of mine, who was in from out of town, came by, looked at the job, ordered the replacement part on Amazon (for $69), and installed it the next day. The shower is now working fine.
No thanks to Reddick and Sons. What a lousy way to do business...as unprofessional as I have ever seen.

I had two household projects: replacing our AC, coil, and thermostat, and installing a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) charger in our garage. After talking to three companies, Reddick had the most competitive AC quote, and after talking to two electricians, Reddick's quote was slightly more expensive but they came out to the house to assess the situation, which gave me more confidence.
With respect to both projects, they were extremely responsive, professional, and respectful of my home and my family. The two technicians who spent all day upgrading my AC system went above and beyond by responding appropriately to my very curious young son who wanted to know what they were doing when he came home. When an issue arose with wiring the smart thermostat I wanted, they installed a temporary digital thermostat and came back two days later to diagnose the issue and install the one I wanted. And as to the PHEV charger, they managed to run the appropriate wiring from the utility room on one side of the house to the garage on the other with functionally zero damage to my drywall, and the PHEV charger looks outstanding on my garage wall.
Overall, I have been extremely impressed with Reddick and would recommend them to those on this site.
We we're selling our house and needed to get a number of repairs done. Extremely professional and did a great job. Not the cheapest company but I prefer not to skimp on things that will cost you more in the long run if not done correctly. In this case I wanted to do the right thing for the people who were buying the home from us. If your looking for a great company who operates with integrity, look no further. Highly recommend using Reddick and sons!
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I hired them for an AC tune-up last year and they ended up scamming me. The technician pretended to do work and took advantage of the fact that I was busy taking care of my newborn son. He recommended a full cleaning, which I agreed to at the time basing my trust on their 5 star Yelp review.
It turns out it was all smoke and mirrors because a few weeks later a friend of mine, who is also an HVAC tech, came over and noticed my AC was filthy. I told him that I just had it cleaned and even paid a premium for it. He ended up opening the unit and showed me that it was never cleaned and probably hosed down at best.
I took pictures and emailed them directly to the company and they had the audacity to tell me it needed to be reviewed. What part of the picture needed to be reviewed?! At the end of the day they refunded me for the cleaning but no the tune up, which I know for a fact was also not done.
Please think twice before hiring this company. The 5 star Yelp reviews are not accurate.

All about the money- they wanted to charge me 350 for an ac capacitor replacement- that's a 10 dollar part and takes all of 15-20 minutes. I know because i replaced it myself and have replaced on other units in the past. So you want to make over 300/hour with absolutely minimal education/degree???? I had also paid a service fee for them to come out that they weren't willing to subtract from the ac capacitor replacement charge. There are additional details that are too much to go into but it's clear this company is all about charging the highest price and has absolutely no customer service skills. I do not recommend this company.

Requested help with high voltage line for electric clothes dryer. The main office was very responsive and communicated schedule changes quickly. Carlos was on time and quickly diagnosed the issue as well as giving me some recommendations for work which could be addressed later.

After several disappointing experiences with the If you can't, we can... people, it was time to move on to a more reputable provider.
Reddick & Sons proved to be just that and exceeded expectations -- On time, extremely professional, demonstrated proper expertise of the repair, and performed the repairs in a timely manner. Service prices were fair and based on the quality of work and overall experience it was worth every penny.
We will certainly be a repeat customer.

I had an extertior GFI outlet issue on 19 June 2023, scheduled service for 21 June 23 between 8am-12pm. Technician was here at 8 am, professionally introduced themself, I explained the problem. The technician thoroughly diagnosed the issue, clearly exlplained what was causing the problem, made recommendation and provided a fair estimated, which I agreed to have the repair done. Technician completed the job in a very timely manner and ensured I was satisfied. First time using this business, will use again in the future when needed. A+
I was having an issue with excess condensation on my HVAC unit. Sean came out and did an excellent job. He talked me through all the issues and patiently answered all my questions. I appreciate his professionalism and never felt like he was trying to sell me something I didn't need. Would definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

2 leaky sinks. They responded quickly, fixed them quickly, and gave me good info about possible future products. There is a reason they have the rating they do. Very affordable for the level of service you get. There may be cheaper places (maybe not) but plumbing is not something to skimp on. Hire them. You'll be happy.

Reddick & Sons are hands down, the best. Our 10-year-old HVAC unit went in our newly purchased home during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. I wasn't impressed with the first company we had come out and troubleshoot, so decided to get a few quotes from different companies on a full unit replacement.
Mike came to the house for the estimate. Called to let us know when he was 30-minutes out. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable he was able to breakdown our problem, what we needed, and how his team would manage our project. Our meeting with Mike really sealed the deal for us (and we hadn't even received the quote yet). The other companies we quoted didn't come close to the same level of communication and detail. I felt really good about Reddick & Sons at this point. Their quote was within the range we believed was reasonable based off our research and they even working with us on pricing a bit. We know they didn't have to do this, but it really went a long way with us.
After we scheduled the install with their front desk team, Daniel came out for measurements a few days prior to install. He also called 30-minutes prior to arrival so we had a heads-up. We told him that our HOA had unexpectedly scheduled paving to be done on the parking lot in front of our house on install day, meaning road access would be closed. He told us they would find a way, and seemed genuinely concerned that we needed to get AC in the house. He showed us exactly what would need to be done, what he would do if it was his home and left us feeling even more confident.
We got a call from the front office the next day to see if it was possible for someone to drop off the new units the day before install to avoid the parking lot closure. We of course said yes, anything to avoid having to reschedule! The gentleman that delivered the unit moved quick and efficiently.
On installation day the crew showed up around 8:30 a.m. All three of them worked non-stop for over 8-hours to get our new unit installed. Their attention to detail and communication with us was fantastic.
We spoke with/interacted with more than 6 people on their team and every single person was friendly, understanding, overly communicative, and just good people. Pricing was very fair. Quality of work exceeded expectations. I can't say enough about our experience with this team. Knowing that they also handle electric and plumbing, I can promise you we won't use any other service provider so long as we live in their service area. Would highly recommend!

Scheduled a consultation for some stains I thought might be leaks in my bathroom. The scheduling via Yelp was easy and automated reminders were nice to receive. On the day of the appointment, the tech called to let me know he was on the way and was actually 20 minutes early for the 4 hour wait period - awesome. In the end, the tech had prudence and didn't think I needed anything done, I really appreciate the honesty. I'll be calling this company again if I need anything in the future!

Everything was a breeze from getting a quote and having the work done. Chris did a masterful job installing an EV charger and I didn't even lose power during the whole process. He clearly explained what I should expect given the layout of the house and did his best to be as least intrusive as possible when it came to cutting into the drywall. Price wise it's competitive, well within the range of what was expected. You can shop around and get other cheaper quotes but when it comes to electrical work you probably don't want to go with the lower offers.

I've been using Reddick & Sons for a few years now and every experience has been excellent. They've done extensive work on my house, their pricing is fair, and their servicemen are always honest and easy to talk to.
Most recently they went above and beyond for me. We came back into town after the frigid temps over Christmas and our front yard and walkway were very wet. I feared the worst - a burst sewer line. I called them at 4pm and they had a technician out to me at 7pm. Mark checked for a main line leak and thankfully we didn't have one. He then explained that the moisture is probably just the ground thawing out from the extremely cold temps. When I offered to pay he refused and said don't worry about it. I insisted but again he said no need! Wow!
This is a business that knows how to take care of clients, and they'll never nickel and dime you. Highly recommend!
From the first call to til the moment our tech left, everyone was so professional and personable! Super easy to work with, Came on time, and did a great honest job. Would definitely use again!

Our well went out on a Sunday. We called that day. They came out Monday, worked all day, replaced our pump and well pipes. We are very happy with the service and would recommend them highly.
Excellent service. Called a different company and they never came out after saying they would. Called Reddick on a Sunday, received a callback within 25 minutes, tech arrived within an hour. Walked me through the issues and fixed it the same day.

The company was very responsive and understanding as I was a bit late to show up bc of childcare.
And the gentleman came was vey nice and knowledgeable. But here's why I give it 3 stars bc I was very much blindsided and backed into a corner in price!
Originally I was quoted a fee of 69 dollars to see what the issue was. Then I was told I would be able to decide what from there if I wanted to take the repairs or not.
Well the gentleman went to the AC unit outback and wasn't there more than 30 minutes. Replaced whatever part and came back told me the issue.... When I asked ok so what do we need to do- he said he took care of it bc the cost of the part wasn't much for the company to pay for. Meaning the part was minor....
But then I get charged a 300 dollar bill! See that's why I have a problem. Before you do something please discuss this with the person first. Not a lot of people have 300 just lying around. Quite honestly I wanted to compare prices. I think we all have that right. I wasn't given the chance. And since I had screaming kids and dinner needed to be made I felt a little forced to just comply. Well I definitely was forced bc he already did the service...
I would have still paid had he told me up front, however that doesn't change the fact you had to at least tell me first. Very sneaky.
Again he was great and very approachable. Showed me a few things to keep in mind on the unit. - but none of that changes the the price was more forced since he went ahead and just fixed it without checking...
Definitely keep this in mind when booking with these bigger companies...
I should of went with my gut and found a local handy man.

The company reached out to me after seeing the review. I appreciate their understanding and acknowledge where the fault came. I never had that happened before. They even took the time to refund me my money (which wasn't my intent at all because we did need our AC repaired). But what a blessing that was- more so I really love that they took the time to really hear my concern and are working to make it better.
This definitely makes a difference and I would use them again( I would just make sure what I need to know - is known before hand)
Our toilet innards needed replaced. I was able to get service within hours of making a call. The person who took the call was great, as was the technician. The price was fair, the job was done well, and we are happy customers. Just a reminder - support family owned, small businesses who provide great service at a fair price.

Life saver. I noticed water dripping from the ceiling in my basement, directly under the kitchen. Immediately I panicked and then called Reddick & Sons at 6:30PM. I am so thankful they provide emergency services. Someone came out within 45 minutes and told me the previous homeowner did a bad job tapping into a water pipe to create a water line for the fridge, and that was causing a nasty leak. Luckily I had caught the water dripping just as soon as it had started leaking. The emergency tech (I wish I remembered his name) fixed the pipe, helped me clean up the wet drywall a bit to minimize damage, and even provided me a quote on a couple of other things that needed attention. Truly a life saver!
Had water in our basement from the heat pump air handler. Another company indicated that the refrigerant was leaking out and the coil had frozen. Quoted a multi-thousand dollar repair. Reddick & Sons tech came out and identified a blocked condensate line (I watched him unblock it) and some sketchy overflow switch wiring/installation. While refrigerant is a little low he found it to be nowhere near as low as other company's tech calculated it to be.

Sent out a quote request on Yelp and received very prompt responses from several businesses, but went with Reddick & Sons because they had the best reviews. Scheduled 10a-2p appointment for a leaking toilet water supply line and a hot water issue.
Our tech, Shontel (Shon), called to let us know he was on the way and when he'd arrive which was really appreciated since we are a household of all women. He was here by 11a, done with the toilet work by noon and gave us a quote for the part needed to fix the hot water issue. Shon was professional and prompt with the work and we had a good experience with this company overall--thanks so much!
Excellent service and honest people! Highly recommend! I'm always impressed with the quality of their work. Their HVAC guys are excellent!

My garage was flooding because of a clogged floor drain so I called Reddick in the morning and was able to get a same day appointment between 12-4pm. Well 4pm rolls around and the tech never shows so I call back and get the run around with management, asking who I spoke with, that there is no record that I ever made an appointment and that it's the call center's fault, even though when I spoke to the receptionist earlier, she was able to pull up my information in the system. They offered to dispatch someone immediately, but at that point, why would I choose to use them after the no show, finger pointing, and overall disorganization/miscommunication. Zero stars, would not recommend.
I ended up calling another company at 4:25pm which was able to get a tech over within an hour to fix my problem. Lesson learned and all is well that ends well!

I met with Matthew Norris. He was very straightforward and willing to share his knowledge. We hoped to move our ac unit to the attic. He explained why we could not reuse our current system and explained in detail what the complete process would entail.
He is very courteous and professional and it is obvious he takes pride in his work and his organization.
Joseph K. and Walker came out to remove/replace our 50 Gallon hot water heater with a Navien A2 series tankless unit and remove Polybutylene piping from a bathroom remodel by a previous owner. They were clean, efficient and very considerate. They also installed two 3M whole house filters and I'm really pleased with the layout they chose.
Jesse was able to fix our heat pump when another company couldn't even figure out what was wrong. He also found and fixed a problem with our main control board, and now the system is running better than it ever has. They also did NOT try to sell me any subscriptions or maintenance plans! Will definitely call these folks again next time.
I had a few small electrical projects around the house which Chris from Reddick & Sons helped with - he was on time, honest, professional, and explained the implications of each of my questions in detail. That was my first time working with Reddick & Sons and I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Our HVAC system was on deaths door so I decided to call these guys during the spring season. These are honest and respectful people. Matt was out there immediately and we had a good conversation and gave me a reasonable estimate. Joe, Joey, and Trevor were out there a few days later for the install and were on time. They worked 7 hours straight without break. We have an older home that was not compatible with a heat pump, but they worked on the fly to run new wire through the drywall ceiling and get the job done. So far so good, clean install, would recommend to others in the area. Be real and respectful to them and they return it amplified - simple!
I think their technicians are knowledgeable but the prices are comparatively high. I had HVAC tune-up and Plumbing inspection recently. Both work were performed by the knowledgeable technician but in the end prices to flush water heater and HVAC drain clean up was very high as per my findings.

Writing an update that after posting the Yelp review, the owner of Reddick & Sons reached out, listened to my problem, and addressed my concerns personally. Updating them to 5 stars, as there aren't many businesses these days where the owner reaches out to personally make things right.
Very responsive and gave a competitive quote for a full hvac replacement. Had to do this all remote and they were very accommodating

I'm very glad I got these guys out to my house to check my HVAC situation. They were my second opinion and not only were they prompt and available in a pinch, but quoted me 1700 less than the first place and they had a more coherent explanation for the actual issues. While I mull over how I'm going to finance this adventure, I couldn't be happier to have them come give me a quote and be straightforward and professional. I'll update once I sell an organ for the job they need to do (not because they're expensive but because WHY does HVAC have to cost a year of community college tuition plus a food plan for a football player who eats 17 times a day? Best analogy I have and maybe that doesn't even cut it...could buy a cheap CAR to replace these systems. Wooof). I feel confident that they'll do a good install and I can cross this off my things they ought to teach in high school about adulting.
Our outdoor lights kept going out so we called Reddick and Sons to investigate. Turned out to be a simple problem that Chris fixed quickly and only charged us the fee for showing up. He was courteous, professional and very neat. We had a great experience.
Great group of people. Solid prices for the most part. Never let me down. I've spent more than 20k dollars in repairs and upgrades with them over the course of 5 years.

I ended up calling Reddick & Sons right after reading all the wonderful reviews left by Yelpers- I immediately called Reddick and was able to get a same day appointment! Joe- the technician was prompt, courteous, and did a wonderful job! He called me let me know in advance what time he would be arriving- and arrived at said time. He gave me a very reasonably priced quote for the pipe leakage and was very honest about the work that needed to be done. He did recommend that my water heater would need to be replaced in the next year or so but that would entail the new piping he will be putting on will be replaced with it which meant I would be paying twice for the pipes. I decided to just get a new water heater. The prices are very reasonable- in my opinion. He did such a thorough, wonderful, and clean job. He explained how to properly maintain the water heater to extend its life. I would highly recommend them!

We had an issue with our circuit breaker and we called them at 11 am. They were at our house at 4pm, very polite, and solved our issue quickly. They did not over charge us and we are keeping them in our contact list.
Writing this review for service that occurred a few months ago (procrastination lol). Had a gas leak in my water heater closet. Gas company turned off the gas and then told me to get a plumber to replace a part. I picked Reddick & Sons because they had the best reviews on Yelp.
Pros:
1) Same-day service. I wanted this fast because I couldn't take hot showers.
2) Was able to schedule entirely through Yelp's Request a Quote (clicking the button on their Yelp page) and messaging features (no phone call needed).
3) Technician was friendly and explained some things. Was able to watch as the technician did the work. Also, I think he wore some things around his shoes to not dirty my floor IIRC.
4) Got a digital copy of the bill and all services rendered.
5) I confirmed that they were licensed.
6) They used a tool similar to the gas company to confirm no more gas leak. I still smelled something so ended up calling the gas company anyway later which also said no leak. Good times.
Cons:
1) Unlike some other reviews, not sure if the price was reasonable. The bill was a bit opaque given no split between parts and labor. It was on the higher end of the other estimates, but I accepted this in favor of fixing things quickly.
2) My shower water was cooler than before after they completed their work. I did ask them if they could come back to check out but was afraid that I would be charged again so decided to fix myself. Had to adjust the water mixing valve.

Great technician, very thorough in his check up of our system. Received a detailed report of possible issues going forward which is very helpful in preventive maintenance.
Today I had the pleasure of having Kris Daniel as my electrical technician. From the time he arrived at my home, he worked diligently to address some electrical issues I was having in my kitchen and answered any questions I had. In short, he made my day. I would hire Reddick & Sons again should I need an electrician.
We had our hvac system replaced on Friday by Reddick & Sons. They were on-time and did a great job of installing our new system. We now enjoy an efficient cooling system ahead of the heat of summer. I highly recommend them and I'll be using them again.
Hot water heater cracked in back causing basement to flood. Reddick, Tom, called me back about 10 minutes after I called on a Saturday morning. Arrived 30 minutes later. Very informative, quick, professional. 100% would use again. Tom A+
From first contact to repair. The experience has been great. Tom came by for an estimate and repair, and he was super knowledgeable. He explained everything thoroughly, and he was super cordial and attentive to my questions. The scheduling team was great too. They made the process painless.
Reddick did a great job on my new AC/heater system.
The AC/heater in my new house was really old and struggling to put out heat or air. I reached out to Reddick and they responded and got an appointment scheduled quickly. They gave me good estimates for repair or replacement.
On install day they found that some of the old piping was not installed correctly, which was creating excess water in the system and was part of why the old system was struggling. They stayed until the issue was fixed for the new system with no additional charges. They do electrical and plumbing also, so they have the staff to fix any problem that pops up. Their service plans are also very reasonably priced.
They really did a great job and I highly recommend them.

Oh man, I cannot say enough good things about Reddick & Sons. My wife and I lost power in our home at around 9:30 AM today. We checked to see if our neighbors were dealing with an outage as well, and they were not. This means it was something specifically with our house. I called Dominion Power and they were able to figure out that the issue wasn't on their end, but was with our fuse box in the basement not distributing the power correctly into our home. I called our regular electrician and they were unable to come until tomorrow morning at 10 AM. This was a non starter for us as it was a very cold day in December and was going to get into freezing temperatures at night. I called a few different places and they all were only able to get to us tomorrow morning at the earliest.
But you know who was able to come today? Reddick & Sons.
I had a quick conversation with the dispatcher (very nice to work with) who got us set up for that day. The technician arrived at around 2:45, was able to diagnose the issue in 3 minutes, and was all done by 3:15. And the best part? They were able to troubleshoot and help with a fix that didn't require us to fully replace the fuse box. Any company could have just said that is what needed to be done (which would've been a few thousand dollars) and I wouldn't have questioned it. The electrician we worked with just replaced something pretty quick which solved it, and it was less than $300 when it was all said and done.
Cannot recommend Reddick & Sons enough. Don't look anywhere else.

Professional, knowledgeable, timely, and efficient. Had a leaky faucet that dribbled down under the sink and soaked the drywall ceiling below. They installed a faucet we had purchased elsewhere, replaced the water supply hoses, and ensured no more leakage. Will call them again for our plumbing needs.
I recently moved into a new property and engaged Reddick & Sons to do a one-time inspection of the 2 HVAC systems in the property. Feeling impressed with the work that the technician did, I signed a maintenance contract with them. In the fall of 2021, I scheduled for a tune up to get ready for winter and Dave Ryan was the technician who came. He did a thorough job and found that the previous technician had missed cleaning out a drain pipe that was clogged. He went ahead to clean it and also replaced a cracked plastic valve with a metal one.
Then, this winter, our propane ran out and we had to shut down one of the system that was really old and runs entirely on propane only. Once the propane tank was filled, we called them and Dave happened to be assigned to do the job. He checked and made sure everything was safe and showed me how to turn the system on in future if the same thing ever happens again. While doing that, he found another loose part that was causing some water leakage and fixed it.
All in all, Reddick & Sons have been very responsive and prompt in sending technicians out. The 2 technicians who have worked with us were patient in helping me understand more about my HVAC system. I especially appreciate Dave for always being proactive in finding and fixing issues before they become a major problem. I'm happy to continue using them to maintain my HVAC systems
Outstanding work from Joe on maintenance on my 17 year old townhouse AC unit. He confirmed it is running well but needs R2 Freon which is now VERY costly. He was very honest, efficient, and skilled. He recommended we run the AC until it dies and start saving for a new one! We will happily use Reddick & Sons again when the time comes to replace our AC unit.
Joe installed the Moen Flo water monitoring and leak protection system. He walked us through the installation and answered all questions. Also helpful with fixing the toilet. Very informative and helpful guy. Will call again if we ever have any plumbing issues (knock on wood). Highly recommend.

Thank you, Sean Reed!!! We had our CO alarm go off in the house and had the gas company come out to look into the leak. They determined that its coming from the HVAC and suggested calling a professional HVAC company to diagnose it. Reddick and Sons came out the same day as they know we don't have heat and that this is an emergency. Sean is very knowledgeable and a very professional guy. He pointed out what he thought might be the issue and run tests and explained everything he was doing as he was doing it and clarified any questions I have. He determined that it's either the furnace it self or the chimney venting that's causing the issue. He suggested that since we can't be 100% certain, to have a professional look at the chimney first as that would cost less to begin with. It did end up being a chimney venting issue. Thank you, Sean for the help and diagnostic! I recommend this company and they will be my go to HVAC company for any issues or services I might need in the future!

Reddick and Sons was able to schedule me for a next-day appointment when some of my DIY electrician skills needed some help!
Kris came out to the house and was incredibly kind and professional and fixed everything and even gave me a bit of a lesson about what I had been doing wrong. Was able to install some dimmer switches, add an outlet and fix a few other issues all within a few hours. Even cleaned up after himself and offered to wear shoe-protectors.
Couldn't recommend them more - will absolutely be calling again if I need anything else done!
We were having a problem diagnosing a leak in the downstairs bathroom. After three plumbers and several hundred dollars, we called Reddick after reading the reviews. Mitch discovered that we had accidentally put a nail through a copper pipe in the wall, causing the leak.
Less experienced plumbers had pat solutions. Mitch attacked the problem like a super detective and found the unusual leak.
Kudos to out-of-the-box thinking.
I was very happy with the response time, the electrician that showed up was great... I'd been living in my townhome for 2 years and not even the inspector could locate the GFI reset. I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name due to my many distractions, but you were awesome and didn't leave without at least having an answer for me. Thank you for the reset. I greatly appreciated your time and effort. I will definitely use Reddick & Son's again.
We have been using Reddick & Sons for a year for maintenance on a house we purchased. Last summer the AC stopped working during a particularly hot week and they came out and fixed it within a day or two (vs weeks I was scheduled out by other companies). Joe has been our repair tech and is always very courteous, knowledgeable, and quick. We recently had Mike come out to give us a quote to replace the whole system and he was great, showed me what was going wrong on the system, answered all my questions, explained what all the options were, and gave me his opinion on what he would do if it were his system. One thing I appreciate about Reddick & Sons is their communication. They call when they are on the way out, provide quotes in a timely manner, and answer the phone when you call. If you have HVAC needs, give them a call - you will be glad you did.

Well I wish I could give this place a better review as the staff is friendly but it's overpriced. Look at my other reviews to find a company that not only has great service but great prices. This company wanted to charge over$1100 for a water shutoff valve. Happily I continued to look and found a better price with awesome service.
When you have an emergency or an unscheduled needed repair you are at a bit f a disadvantage. We were fortunate to have found Reddick & Sons. They were extremely responsive and scheduled someone that day. There was a very slight mixup and the tech came as soon as he realized there was an issue and apologized profusely. Mark was efficient, thorough and gave us a very honest opinion of the issue. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.
Joe was great. Very professional. Though he recommended replacing my HVAC system due to its age, he did acknowledge the system still works and does not necessarily need to be replaced immediately. That degree of honesty is sometimes difficult to find in contractors and most other guys would've pressured me to replace my entire system right then. Joe did not and I truly appreciated his candor. I highly recommend Reddick & Sons to anyone requiring HVAC services.

I have a rental property in Falls Church and I live in Va beach and after my tenant gave me the symptoms for the unit I then contacted Reddick & Sons, I knew what needed to be fixed, so I ask for there standard price to replace the capacitor, The office was unable to give me a price to replace the capacitor and they informed me a technician will have to evaluate the system and I would be billed for the service call, again I requested the standard price they charge for a capacitor relpacment and I explained that I did not what to pay more than $200 to replace an $11 part and that takes less then 15 minutes to install and check the pressures I schedule the appointment. They did schedule the appiontment for the same afternoon. Low and behold when the technician contacted me and informed me that the capacitor needed to be replaced and they're standard capacitor replacement cost would be $350.00 so my options were too pay $350 or I could either pay their service call and take more time to have another technician come out and fix it. The only positive thing I can say about Riddick & Sons is they showed up in a few hours and my tenant has AC now, and the kicker is they charged me $352.85, it's not like they didn't make enough they charged me $2.85 more then then what I was quoted. It was a very disappointing experience, they could have been upfront with me in the beginning pertaining to their pricing. If my unit needs service I will be going elsewhere in the future.
Needed a light switch replaced in a bathroom that gets a lot of traffic in the house and is pitch black without the light. Although not a big job, was able to get a same-day appt. The guys showed up on time, were very nice, and worked quickly. Good job. I will use Reddick again.
I just moved into a new house and a couple appliances in the house kept blowing the fuse box. An electrician from Reddick & Sons came over and did a fantastic job identifying the issues and resolving the problems. The receptionist I spoke with was warm and efficient in communicating the key information; the electrician who came to fix my fuse box was punctual, professional, and efficient. Dave was very knowledgeable. He arrived on time, took steps to ensure no dirt or debris entered our home, and was very pleasant to work with. He kept us informed of the work he was doing and finished in a timely manner. We were very happy with his work.
Mitch came to our house the day before Thanksgiving and found the leak from our ice maker. While we had to get the ceiling cut, Mitch was very friendly and talked us through the process. It could have been a lot more but Mitch was able to quickly figure everything out and we are very pleased with the service provided!
We've had Reddick come out for electrical and plumbing over the past 5 years and always had great success. They are really clear explaining why they are making a recommendation, and the final price always seems in-line with other service providers.
They charge a $69 fee to come out and review, but if you have them do the work the fee is waived. So it's usually better to have them come last if you plan to get a few referrals.
I woke up today to find my hot water heater leaking. I called Reddick & Sons and they said a technician would come between 12 pm and 4 pm. Tom arrived a few minutes after 12 pm and confirmed what I thought; my hot water heater needed to be replaced. Tom provided me a quote, removed my old hot water heater and installed my new hot water heater and necessary venting the same day. Tom was courteous and thoroughly cleaned the work area once finished.

We had someone from RotoRooter take a look at a leak in our basement.
Their plumber wasn't able to identify where the leak was coming from and we ended up paying $1400 without getting the problem fixed. It continued to happen so we contacted Reddick and Sons for a second opinion. Matthew came out and identified where it was coming from right away and was able to fix it. I'm happy to say it has been fixed for much less than what we were originally charged. We should have contacted Reddick and Sons from the start.

I woke up to find no hot water when turning on the shower so went to check my water heater and found water puddling under and around my tank. The leak was slow but steady so after mopping up I started looking for plumbing companies and came across Reddick and Sons. After reading their reviews I gave them a call. Shontel came to my home introduced himself looked at my tank and explained what the problem was and how I needed to replace it. He went over everything that needed to be done, the cost and time it would take. I agreed and he did the work, professionaly, efficiently, and neatly. My carpet in that basement was brand new and he went out of his way to protect it. I am greatful to Reddick for scheduling me same day with such short notice and to Shontel for saving what could have been a sure disaster. I highly recommend this company.

No show. I had an appointment from 10am-2pm for an evaluation of my gas line and no one showed up. When I called to ask about what happened, their representative said they didn't have my address (even though I provided it when making the appointment). They had my phone number, so I'm not sure why they didn't call when they realized they hadn't properly updated their system with my address.
They fixed the dimmer switch and showed me how to change a complicated ceiling light. They were quick, courteous and affordable. Cannot recommend more.

I hired Reddick & Sons to install a whole-house humidifier. I spoke with two other HVAC companies, but they didn't have an electrician license and I would have to hire a separate contractor to run the electrical wire. Reddick & Sons offered a competitive quote for the entire project. Taking into account their positive reviews, I decided to work with them.
Their technicians are very polite, honest, and respectful. The scheduling process was easy, and they came within the appointment window. They have attention to detail, and the quality of the work was good. They found a small water leak in the utility closet during the installation and fixed it at no cost. They cleaned up the work area and left it even cleaner than it was before.
Highly recommend them.
We had a furnace gas valve that was leaking. I was able to book an appointment same day. Joseph from Reddick came out, did a thorough inspection and patiently explained everything to me. He was even great with my nosy puppy that was curious about what he was doing. I was given a written estimate for the repair on the spot. No hard sell, pressure to schedule right away or attempts to upsell me in anyway. Once I decided to go ahead, they scheduled me for the very next day. Joseph showed up on time and completed the installation very quickly. Great company and great employees. Definitely recommend!

First and foremost, scheduling my appointment was a breeze. And the tech, Corbett, who came out to help me fix my heater water unit was so helpful and quick! He figured out what was making my unit short circuit and shut off after 30 seconds of trying to run. Very kind and professional, I had an awesome experience!
My bathroom faucet was leaking and I called Reddick & Sons to do what I thought was a simple replacement. It turns out the person who previously installed the sink cut some corners and didn't do a great job. The technician Tom, patiently showed me the poor workmanship to include a cracked drain pipe which was improperly patched using caulk, barely attached to the sink and sealed using glue. He fixed it all, taking time to explain and show me everything along the way. Unfortunately, he needed to cut into the drywall to in order to properly attach the drain pipe, but I'm grateful that the drain is now properly installed and sealed. I highly recommend Reddick & Sons. The tech was very responsive, respectful of me and my home, cleaned up the area and took all the trash with him. I will call them again for any future jobs. Professional, reliable, fast. I am using them for HVAC services and plumbing. Still good to compare prices though. Had some $3k plumbing needs. I used Reddick for half of that and the other half with other services because they were cheaper. However, Reddick is worth it and you should use them.
It is hard to say enough good things about Carlo Milla and his son and assistant, Nicholas. Today, they installed four new light fixtures in my new (old) condo, which needed modernizing. Call brought me one for my bathroom. It's safe around the shower, looks stylish, and doesn't need lightbulbs, according to the literature. Amazing! Carlo and Nick are quick, efficient, polite, and quiet. The get the job done with no time lost. I wish everybody worked like these two men.

Service since my purchase of new furnace and air conditioning unit to do a checkup always exceptional. Excellent company, excellent staff, and great workmanship.
Recently used R&S for a panel replacement and EV charger outlet install and was incredibly happy with them. I met with Alex at my home and he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and informative. On the day of the job, him and his partner were on time and diligent with the work they did. They were also very respectful and tidy as they worked which my wife and I certainly appreciated. I will be using them for all future electrical needs as I found working with them to easy and the service/product top notch.
These guys were life savers. I ordered a dishwasher with installation and haul away services from Samsung.com. The installers from Samsung did not even know how to shut off the water and when they disconnected the hoses water shit everywhere like a geyser. They kept asking mewhere do you shut off the water? And they had to crimp the hose to stop it from going everywhere. By this time I am trying to call Samsung and let them know these guys don't know what they are doing and just refund the installation fee of 189.00. The only guy who spoke English shows me a hose and how it is bigger at the tip than the old hose. He starts telling me I need to redo all my plumbing in the kitchen to fit the hose that came with the new dishwasher. The guys were there for over 2 hours and I was only 4 phonecards in with Samsung and 2 Chats trying to get my installation fees refunded. The guys told me I needed to hire a plumber to replace all my plumbing in the kitchen. They were telling me they need to go, they have other jobs. I told them not til I could get the install fees refunded. They said they would come back. I had a dishwasher sitting in middle of floor and all the hoses removed under sink from old dishwasher. The turned the valves back on and said you can still use water. They showed me and left. Then I see water with food in it pouring out of cabinets. They never sealed of the back of the garbage disposal when they removed the old hose. I called Reddit. They were there in less than 30 mins. My dishwasher was installed in about 30 minutes, using my existing hose to the water supply. They helped tidy up the mess left from the Samsung subcontractors.

I am getting ready to use them for the second time... hopefully my rating sticks. Both this time and my previous time response has been quick and efficient. Scheduling has been easy and timely. Service was on point last year when I had an exterior outlet installed. Looking forward to using them again.
I got my water heater replaced and a mixing valve by Reddick & Sons. First they came out for a diagnostics visited, which the costs would be applied to any future work. The technician was very knowledgeable and nice. He also wore a mask, and answered all my questions. After comparing prices of some other plumbers, I decided to go with Reddick. It was easy to make an appointment.
The technician came on time to the appointment to install the water heater. It took about half a day to install. The installation looked really nice and clean afterwards.
It was a great overall experience. However, there were a few things that were less than ideal. First, the technician suggested that my house water pressure regulator was broken and needed to be replaced without first checking the water pressure of my house. I asked him to check the water pressure and turns out it didn't need it replaced. Getting it replaced would have costed me about $500. Also, after he left he placed the Reddick and sons stickers all over the HVaC unit to make it appear that they were the ones who installed the HVAC unit, which was not the case. I thought that was a little weird.
Jessie was awesome. Recognized the problem very quickly. Replaced faulty part. Then recognized improper setting on main a/c unit and adjusted it. More than happy with expertise and friendly reception by all employees we dealt with. Okay, next day. Shontel came and fixed our plumbing problem. Four hours later large water spot is on floor 4 feet away from Shontels work. Had the replacement of the pressure release valve cause a pipe to break? Wife called Reddick to make emergency visit. I instead called Reddick to have experienced tech call me immediate. Cause of leak thoroughly explained and we are more than happy with Reddick and Sons. Call them
Reddick & Sons made our lives so much better by quickly and efficiently working with us to replace our HVAC. The scheduling process was quick and easy and I appreciated their flexibility, when we had to reschedule our initial appointment. Applying for financing was also a very easy process.
On the day of our scheduled service, their technicians arrived on time and couldn't have been more polite. It's been about two months since our new HVAC install and we have no complaints. I highly recommend Reddick & Sons, with no reservations!
The technician was very professional. Went about the replacement of the current ceiling fan with our new one immediately.
When uncertain about a part, he examined the available instructions that came with the unit and proceeded.

Technician was punctual, courteous, and very helpful. He answered all my questions and gave me all the pertinent information and beyond. I, highly, recommend the company.
In two hours Joe replaced eleven water cutoff valves and their supply lines for our sinks. This included the time needed to go get shop supplies after the estimate and come back to do the work. Outstanding job!
Quick to respond and efficient. Like all electricians somewhat expensive but no more than any others.
Reddick & Sons replaced our old water heater. They were responsive to my request and answered all my questions about the project along they way. The work was timely and done well. I would recommend them to others.

We requested an estimate for a new dedicated circuit and gfci outlet for a sump pump. Carlo arrived within the cited time range and conducted a quick assessment of the job and provided an estimate. We are assessing other electricians' bids on the project but you would be hard pressed not to trust Carlo to do the job and do it right. He understands relevant codes and offers insights on your home's electric system. Very friendly and personable.
Honest and very friendly company. Honest Prices, Honest Work, and Honest repair. Cannot ask for anything better. They are right on point. With some basic information that I gave them, they went right to work and pin pointed the issue right away. Changed out the part and had the system back and running in couple of hours. They gave a honest price including the parts. Whole job was around $135 dollars. I had another technician come juts before him, Estimate was in thousands for system overhaul. I will NOW use this company going forward without any hesitation. Its going into my speed dial.
We needed our outside house lights replaced. They arrived on time, fair price, did the work efficiently and successfully, no hassles. We've used Reddick for plumbing work and same quality of service. We'd use them again (for both plumbing and electric).

Kristopher of Reddick & Sons arrived right on time to provide an estimate for replacing a wall light fixture in my laundry room, diagnose the cause of a dead wall outlet in my garage and find a solution. Of all the other electricians who had provided estimates for these jobs before him ... there were three ... he was the only one who did a thorough, credible, professional diagnosis of the issue with the dead wall outlet, tracing it up and down the wall and across the ceiling, where he pinpointed the break. I did not not want to open up the ceiling and instead asked Kristopher to determine whether it was feasible to install a new wall outlet near an existing light switch by tapping into the wiring there. It was, and Kristopher did an absolutely perfect, cosmetically appealing job doing exactly what I wanted. He also replaced the wall light fixture in the laundry room, as desired. I am totally happy and commend Kristopher for his superb, 5-star work.
I have used Reddick & Sons for both HVAC maintenance and electrical work. Their technicians are extremely polite and respectful, esp. Sean R. They cleaned up their work area and seemed honest and knowledgeable about the work they were doing. The technicians arrived within the scheduled appointment window and called me before they came. Highly recommended.
I had to replace my heat pump. The old company I was trying to have service the old one was giving me the run around. They missed several appointments and gave me no assurance that I actually needed a new unit. I contacted Reddick and Sons and they were very responsive to my request for a quote. I chose them and the two guys that came to install the new heat pump did a great job. They worked much longer than expected due to a tight fit, but they persisted and did a great job with a clean install. I will be switching to them to service my oil furnace as well since they did such a good job.
Another service call was placed with Reddick and Sons and we requested that Alex return as our electrician. Thank you Alex and thank you Reddick and Sons.

Initially I called these guys out just to install a new thermostat because the one that came with this house I just bought wasn't working. However when the first guy looked at the whole HVAC system, he made me realize that the thermostat was the least of my problems. The pre-sale home inspector had told me that the heater and A/C were past their lifecycle and that I needed to be ready to replace them soon, but the technician from Reddick & Sons made me realize that the whole thing basically could fail at any time. The whole ductwork on both the heater and A/C was rusted out on the inside and the wiring was really sloppy, and he told me that the whole thing could get flooded with moisture and I'd have no idea, or the heater could vent unburnt gas into the house and kill me from CO poisoning. He walked me through the logic of getting the whole thing replaced at once right now before the winter season started, and how it would save money both on the installation and my heating/electrical bills to get it done now before anything failed. He also still installed the new smart thermostat before he left that day.
So we scheduled a full replacement of the entire HVAC system two weeks later which was the soonest they could come out. They came out when they promised, which was right as the first snow storm of the season was starting. They worked fast and efficiently but stayed out of the way while I was working. They got here at 8:30 and were done and gone by 3:30, and everything was done perfectly. They filled in a level concrete slab so the new A/C unit would be off the ground, and replaced all of the ducts leading from both units into the house. They left plenty of service documentation on both units and included a two year replacement warranty on both systems.
These guys have the best reputation in the area for a reason - they are the best for sure.
This is my second time calling on Reddick & Sons and I'm very satisfied with their service. Each time I've dealt with Sean (Shawn?) and he has been professional and considerate, and even offered some advice for future savings. Reddick & Sons will be my first call next time.
I had my water heater replaced after 12 years, get all the copper pipes cleaned up, replaced the rusting pressure reducer and put in a mixing valve with Reddick & Sons. 5 stars and happy with the results.
I had received quotes from a handful of companies. I will say Reddick & Sons wasn't the cheapest but it's not a bad thing if you want your project done right the first time. The cheapest companies' free consultation left me wondering if it'll be done properly. At the end, it came down to two choices with whom I was comfortable proceeding with. R&S was more expensive but had many great reviews. The other was cheaper but not a lot of reviews. I picked R&S eventually because they were willing to work with me on the price. It wasn't an exact match but I was happy with the price after looking at a few similar quotes.
I was a little surprised they didn't recommend a mixing valve. I think they are trying not to oversell a lot of items but from the stuff I'd been reading, you'd want a mixing valve so I asked for one. Without a mixing valve, your tank temp will be at 110'C and bacteria can still grow at the temp. If you have a mixing valve, you can set the tank temp to 140'C to kill off all bacteria and use the valve to tone it down to 110'C so it's safe for you. I'm no expert but that makes sense to me so I had a mixing valve installed.
The project took about 3-4 hours total. It didn't feel right the guy was carrying the huge tank with a cart by himself so I helped him at the stairs. The work was done very professionally. He wore slip on covers for his shoes inside the house and cleaned up all the mess afterward. The plumbing work is very clean and is a lot prettier than before. Everything is up to code as well (they installed drain pan and overflow tank). I highly recommend them. Don't cheap out on the important stuff but also have a few quotes ready so you aren't overpaying by a lot. Good luck with your project!
I learned after a high water bill that I had an outdoor water main leak. Im so happy I went with Reddick on this one. They did not mess around. Unlike other vendors, they knew immediately what to do and were able replace the water main with a copper pipe and minimal trenching for less than what another company. They engineering they did in the basement really cleaned up the plumbing. They also organize the whole project and took care of scheduling the inspection. They go the extra mile by including the site restoration as well, which was exactly what was needed for the HOA. These guys are THE pro's.

I first contacted Reddick & Sons for a second opinion when our home warranty service company told us we needed to replace our entire HVAC system. Rather than blindly trusting this other company and dropping thousands of dollars, I figured I would ask if Reddick & Sons--a company with a stellar reputation--if they concurred with the assessment. I'm glad I did this, because after a free inspection, we were told that we did not need to replace our system after all. I knew I would be using Reddick & Sons for all of our home services that I could from this point on!
Fast forward a couple months when we needed to get a chandelier installed for some much-needed light in our living room. I worked with Sherelle to find a date for their electrician to give us a free estimate. The electrician came out, checked the ceiling area, asked some questions, and explained his plan. He noted that the would have to cut into the drywall to install a switch. (They do not do drywall repair, which I appreciated he told me up front.) We also wanted to get a dimmer switch installed, which he said wouldn't be a problem.
Once we approved the estimate, I got in touch with Sherelle again to make the appointment for the installation. (The only frustration is that the day of the original appointment they called to say they had a morning installation that was going to take too long, so they couldn't keep our afternoon appointment. However, they were very polite about this and made sure to leave a note to not change the second appointment.) Overall, their communication is stellar, whether through email or via phone.
The electrician did a great job of hanging the chandelier and ensuring that it worked properly with the dimmer switch. He took care of our home, making sure to drape a cloth on the floor and over a display shelf to prevent drywall dust from getting everywhere. He was professional and efficient. We've had the chandelier up for a few weeks now and it's worked perfectly. We wouldn't hesitate to use Reddick & Sons for any of our future home project needs!

Repaired a water hammer issue with a quick diagnosis of the solution.
In/out in a little over an hour with 30 min of that time dedicated to plumber glue properly drying.

We received a referral from our fireplace company whom we loved (Williams Services Fireplace) and could not be happier to have a found a wonderful circuit of home services businesses through them - RIDDICK AND SONS being one of the top among them.
We have used their services at least half a dozen in our old condo and new house after recent move. From broken garbage disposals, to new water heaters, bathroom plumbing, and vent cleaning/HVAC. We have found them to be competent, respectful, considerate, and on time every time we have worked with them.
They have been incredibly honest about what work needs to be done and to what extent. For example, when our garbage disposal went out they came for a service call and it wasn't even broken but had accidentally come unplugged. They weren't even going to charge us for the service call... So we hired them on the spot for several other nonpressing issues we had had.
Had a leak and called them based on the great reviews and they setup an appointment pretty quick and easily. Now what happened the day of the job is why I respect this company and the awesome kindness of the plumber assigned to my appointment. So the plumber called me saying he was on his way and asked me a few questions about the leak. I mentioned that it was a new construction home (built a few years ago) and after I described everything, the plumber said he thinks I should try to get my builder warranty to cover it because it sounded more like water intrusion and not a leaking pipe. He was very informative and said that even though he would be losing money from not taking the job, he thinks that's what I should try since it's not a pipe leak in his opinion. Anyways I followed his advice and called the builder and after they inspected it, he was 100% right!! It was indeed coming from the roof and not a plumbing issue. The builder repaired the issue and I'm just so grateful for the honesty from the plumber because he didn't have to do that. He could have just taken the call and then told me I needed something with roofing. Such a great guy! I'm only going to be using Reddick & sons in the future for all my real plumbing issues. Honesty goes a long way and I definitely recommend them!

I cant speak for everyone at this company, but I met Alex today and he was amazing! He came by today for a quote (I literally called them late this morning and someone was out 30 minutes into the time window) and spent time diligently inspecting all aspects of my electrical problem. He explained to me what the problem was, which was simple a fix, and didn't even charge me. Any other electrician would have told me they needed to fix it and could have easily fleeced me for several hundred dollars. After this experience I now have my go-to electrician saved in my phone!

I had previously posted a review that expressed my concerns with a recent service call. I noted that one of my reasons for choosing Reddick & Sons was that they were a family-owned business, which I think deserves extra consideration in today's world of mass marketers.
After posting the review we were quickly contacted by the owner in order to address our issues. The response from Meaghan was prompt and understanding. She didn't offer excuses or post jabs at me online (who hasn't seen that?). Instead, she explained her company's approach and showed a level of caring and concern that I think any customer would consider admirable.
I chose to delete my previous post as opposed to updating it. If you are considering Reddick & Sons for work in your home, it is less important that you be mired in the details of one particular service call, than it is to know this family-owned company cares enough about their previous customers to make things right. I respect and appreciate that, to the point that they will be my next service call for plumbing work.
Every business has misunderstandings with their customers. It's what happens after they realize there is a problem that separates the run-of-mill from those that are worthy of your consideration. Thank you, Meaghan, for your thoughtful and courteous response-- you exceeded my expectations.

I contacted Reddick & Sons to schedule a service call, the friendly customer service lady schedule the appointment for the next day. The technician Shawn reached out before arriving, he was within the allotted window that I was given. He had been out to my condo before and was very friendly and professional as before. The issue was very simple to fix regarding the HVAC, which was still under warranty. The one thing that I really like about Shawn is the fact he educates his customers and takes his time in explaining how things work. He is definitely a GREAT asset to the Reddick & Sons Family.

I had a few little electrical projects that were piling up around the house and beyond my basic homeowner skills. Carlo was fantastic. He worked very quickly but also took the time to explain some of the quirks of my house and where I had gone wrong. Exactly what you want in an electrician.
Solid company, showed up on time, were knowledgeable and up front up about pricing. Great communication, will use them again in the future.
We needed someone to look at 2 external electrical outlets & were recommended to Reddick & Sons. We made an appointment online, received an email confirmation the night before the appointment and a phone call when they were 30 minutes away. Michael was prompt, thorough and friendly. We'll definitely use them again for future needs.
I suspect this is a good company from the reviews I've seen. But I don't have the opportunity to experience it. I can't say I had an ok experience or better. They seemed kind, but at the end of the day they canceled the appointment and were unwilling to even come out to give a look and give an estimate on the project. They just said they can't take on the work. But the work at this point was to come out and look at the project and give an estimate. I really don't understand what drove them to cancel the appointment and that leaves me unsettled. So, if you're interested go for it and hire them, but I figure I'd share my honest experience and if I'm the only reviewer that notes this, then treat me like a one off. But if you've had a similar experience, please share.
For those interested on the project, I have an AC unit that didn't extend to the second floor and a boiler for heating the whole house. I wanted an estimate to convert the AC to AC and heat, and figure out what I needed to do to expand to the second floor. (1400 sq ft home).
Arrived in the window. Made an assessment and gave us options at different price points. Was very friendly and explained what was happening with our system. They will be installing a new unit and we will see how that goes and they got us a temporary fix until we can get new system installed.
Called this company to get my AC repair properly diagnosed, after a terrible experience with another company that my home warranty company made me use. Reddick & sons had someone out to repair my unit the same day. Joseph showed up in the time a lot I was provided, quickly identifying the problem and completing the required repair to get my AC up and running. He answered all my questions and their prices seem very reasonable, especially for the quality service they provide. I Highly recommend this company and they will be my go-to for future repairs.

Our water heater failed while on vacation. Reddick & Sons responded quickly and replaced it no issues once we were ready to get the work started. They answered all our questions- scheduling and front office staff are friendly and helpful. We have hot water again! *phew*.
I've previously worked with them on replacing my parent's HVAC system- easy process and friendly all around.
As always the company is great! Good communication, they fit shoe covers on, every tech who's come by has very nicely dealt with my questions and comments and me watching what they do(out of curiosity!). I've had them come out for HVAC issues and seasonal check up's as well as for plumbing and would absolutely call them for other services if needed.
Every time we have contact with this company and their staff we are happy. They are friendly, competent, professional and customer oriented. Today was just a simple AC servicing with Sean, but in the past we have had major systems installed, plumbing repairs, hot water heaters replaced. Always the same, friendly, competent, professional and customer oriented. Cannot recommend them enough.
My heat went out Monday morning and they were here Tuesday afternoon to diagnose the issue. The part they needed for my HVAC system was ordered that day and the repairs were completed the following day. Couldn't be happier.
There's a reason it's 5 stars on Yelp across the board. Highly recommend. Needed 2 ceiling fans installed. They were super efficient and very reasonable. Did excellent work. Will absolutely call upon them again.
They wouldn't give me an estimate for how much it would cost to replace a floodlight without scheduling an in-person appointment to figure out the scope of the work. When I asked if they could make sure the work could be done that day so I wouldn't have to take off work for multiple appointments for a relatively simple project, they said no.
Don't contact them if you want a company with respect for your time and the importance of minimizing in-person contact during a pandemic.

My wife and I purchased a new light for our kitchen and I had planned on installing it myself but noticed (once I started working on it) that we needed to have a box installed in order to mount the fixture.
Since it was the first time I would've attempted such an install, I decided to have someone come in to do the work, mostly in case I ran into any unexpected surprises.
This was my first time using Reddick & Sons and I couldn't have been more happy with the service they provided. Carlos and Nick were EXTREMELY professional and courteous both to me and of my home. While the job was relatively simple the pricing was very fair and they did a great job.
Fully recommend; would happily use again if I had more electrical work to be done in the future.
I have had back luck with service companies in the past but Reddick was great to me. I spoke to two people to schedule the appointment and they were both polite and helpful. And they were able to send someone out the very next day. David, the service tech, didn't try to overcharge me for bogus repairs. He was very honest and called me right away to explain the situation. This is my second review of Reddick & Sons. Again, 5 stars. I've tried a few other plumbers/electricians in between. None stand up to them. They quickly responded to my request and they completed it with unrivaled expertise (less than 24 hours from the initial ask).
Matthew came out for a quick plumbing job, he was amiable, professional, and willing to explain things thoroughly. He also gave me a fair estimate on another job. The days of the gruff plumber and/or electrian are over.
I seriously do not know why you would go with anyone else. Reddick & Sons are bar none the best in the business. I have very high standards in this area and have been disappointed so many times. Reddick & Sons continues to exceed those standards.
Wanted 3 new bathroom faucets installed and I had a slow leak under one sink. The young man that arrived was quick and professional. I thought I needed a new shut-off valve underneath one sink, but I did not. I didn't see that the nut behind the turning shut-off valve needed to be tightened with a wrench. I tightened the shut-off valve as tight as I could, but it still leaked and thought it was just rusting through. I was very happy he showed me it was not a big problem. The faucets are almost 30 years old, 2 stilled leaked and the cartridges could not be taken out, so I bought Moen faucets on sale. I had installed new aerators but 2 of the faucets were still dripping constantly. The plumber gave me the cost to install each faucet after he assessed the situation with all 3 sinks. Over $300 per faucet!! He admitted a handyman could do it cheaper. I just agreed to having the worst faucet replaced. He replaced the old copper tubing with new chrome flexible tubing, installed a new drain, warned me the new plastic drains could break if I shoved the things in the cabinet too hard, had plumber's putty, etc. The bathrooms need remodeling soon and he kindly obliged to answering all my questions about toilets, bathtubs, faucets, etc. in consideration of future remodeling. Definitely knew what he was doing. Said he was a 4th generation plumber, but his family did not own this company. Wish they were cheaper!
Appraiser came out and we spent 30+ minutes discussing the install of a 50amp line for an EV. He promised aa estimate in a few days.
2 1/2 weeks have gone by and I have heard nothing from them. Wasted my time! Very disappointed.
*** Update - after the review, Reddick followed up and apologized for the delay. I appreciate their follow-up.
I called with a minor electrical issue; scheduling was easy. The tech who arrived, Michael, was friendly, self-assured, and professional. He made quick work of the issue.
For future electrical work, Reddick & Sons will be my first call.
Michael came to our house and put in recessed lights in the upstairs and downstairs hallway, three smoke/CO2 detectors (his suggestion), two hanging lights in the dining room and kitchen. For good measure 3 dimmer switches for the cool factor. Michael was a gem. He communicated at every step and made great suggestions for tweaking the entire install. I have used Reddick before and the experience was great, this time it was more complex and it was even better. The scheduling and interactions were all top flight. Don't hesitate to call them.
Professional prompt service as always. Third time I've used them in the last 2 years. They have kept my 13 yr old system limping along. Will have them do the replacement before winter comes.

Fair prices as compared to larger outfits. People need to remember that you're paying them for their expertise. I've used bargain service outfits before & it's never worth the hassle.
I'm updating my review. Customer service contacted me after my review and offered the tech to come back again with a camera this time for no additional fee. I appreciate them reaching out to me and making good on it. Thankfully the camera showed no cracks or obstruction in the pipes!

Our AC stopped working when temps were in the high 90s. I put a call into Reddick and Sons and they had a tech come out later that afternoon. Our problem was a simple fix at the disconnect box. But i was amazed at how professional the tech was he checked the electrical wiring and freon level as well as waited for the system to run for awhile. After checking system a second time to make sure it was running correctly. The techs name i believe was Dave a great professional HVAC tech explained everything to me and very professional. My advice is if you have HVAC service needed or Electrical or Plumbing work performed i would highly recommend Reddick and Sons.

Well, we basically use them for all HVAC repairs instead of our untrustworthy home warranty providers. Reddick always gets to the bottom of the problem, then fixes it correctly the first time (unlike the home warranty people). Their quality and service is bar none. I wouldn't (and don't) trust anyone else to service our units. All the guys that come to our condo are super friendly - even with our very needy pup!

I've hired Reddick & Sons for plumbing (Gilbert) and for HVAC/furnace services (Jessie). I am a loyal, dedicated customer. Gilbert and Jessie are fantastic. They know their stuff, are extremely professional and honorable, and do great work. Gilbert installed two sump pumps for us and Jessie helped us with making our dual zone HVAC more efficient (he also discovered that our attic was missing some insulation, something our home inspector missed!) If you are searching for a plumber or HVAC technician, don't hesitate and call Reddick. Don't even bother interviewing other companies. You won't be disappointed!

I highly recommend Reddick & Sons for your HVAC needs. As a first time homeowner, I don't quite know my way around my furnace, but Joe from Reddick & Sons took time to carefully explain the issue (which involved airflow) and ensure I'd be able to fix it myself next time. He also provided reasonable estimates, in case the issue became worse.
The price was very competitive, and I appreciated the use of shoe covers to avoid making a mess in the house. Joe also had the most organized contractor truck I've ever seen. It's a must see attraction.
Being newer to the area, we did a ton of research and went with Reddick for a new HVAC system of our newly purchased home in September. They were clean, attentive and pleasant to work with and so easy to reach. Unfortunately they did have to come out an additional time to fix a minor mistake, but they were prompt and apologetic. We also had them fix some plumbing issues around thanksgiving and had another great interaction. Highly recommend!!

What a great response. Had an issue with our water heater that was pointed out by a furnace repair tech that he called a 911 emergency, could have a flooded basement issue if that go wrong. Called Reddick, great live response, had a tech scheduled that day. Matthew showed up, recognized the issue and offered a solution, and did a plumbing wizard act in two hours to fix our problem. So responsive, Matthew was great. Highly recommend.
Really great electricians - they're extremely communicative, on time, and make sure your space is in perfect condition when they're done. They're happy to advise you on what courses of action are available and what they recommend, and they work fast.
My toilet was not flushing properly, and I needed someone to come as soon as possible to remedy the issues. I used Yelp price estimates to find someone, and I was pleasantly surprised to get a response from Reddick & Sons, who said they could come in a few hours. Shon, my technician, contacted me to give me advance warning of when he was coming, and identified the problem as soon as I explained to him the issue. He was able to repair the problem in 15 minutes or less and I couldn't have been happier with the level of service I received! I will definitely use this company again.

The job was well done and efficient-- took less time than expected. Shontel Jackson was extremely thorough and professional. The work was well done and took far less time than I expected and was not disruptive to my day.
When given a 3-hour window of arrival, the technician almost always shows up at the end of that window, but I was pleasantly surprised! Michael arrived early. He reattached the electrical box at the top of a very tall hallway light, all at the speed of...light!!!
I was very pleased with Michael's speed, professionalism and cost to do the job. Will definitely use Reddick & Sons again if I need an electrician!

All these 5-star reviews are well deserved. I had a plumbing leak Matthew fixed - no fuss, no muss. Making an appointment was easy, he showed up perfectly within the time frame he said he would, and called 15-30 minutes in advance to let me know he was on the way. He was an absolute professional and I highly recommend. While I wish the company would provide estimates for fixing common problems on the phone, I found their pricing to be fair, and it was absolutely worth it to me. I had contacted a couple other plumbers who were all either more expensive or simply unreliable. I would not hesitate to use Reddick & Sons again. So glad to have found them!
In summary, Reddick & Sons did not show up for their four-hour appointment window they had recommended which I respectfully accepted (see pic attached)! To preface this review, it is only about the estimate appointment that never happened - which was very unprofessional! I am writing this review, so Yelper's are fully aware of this. Reddick & Sons should realize that normal working people have schedules and appointments to make in advance of booking an estimate, especially with a 4-hour window. I even provided my cell phone to their rep in case they needed to reschedule or call me with any questions. In addition, I provided pictures of the issue in advance. The takeaway from this experience is based on the description of the job that was provided to them in advance, I just have to assume the job was too hard for them to handle... If that is the case, they could have easily called my cell aforementioned or messaged me to let me know instead of wasting 4 hours of my time!

Shon arrived promptly, checked my old garbage disposal, then replaced it with a new, quieter, more capable one with a longer warranty that I had researched online. Very happy with his cleanliness and his work plus he gave me my military discount that I hadn't been aware of! I'll have Reddick and Sons back next week to install wiring and hang a ceiling fan.
Last minute HVAC issue resolved the same day. Good customer service. Quick repairs. Technician showed evidence of damaged parts. Price was lower than what I expected. I'll keep this contact for any HVAC issue.

A big shout out to Reddick and Sons, and their technician Mitch. As an individual who prides himself on being a bit of a Jack of all trades, I was not expecting it to be easy to track down a small gas leak somewhere in the black iron piping of a 35+ year old warehouse condominium, and certainly not expecting to have this repaired over a single weekend. Great credit is due to both Reddick and Sons, and their technician Mitch, for not only quoting a very reasonable price, but coming out on a Saturday to insure we had heat quickly. The leak turned out to be in a neighboring unit, the result of a misaligned pully rubbing against a common overhead gas line. As a member of the Master Board for the Sunset Business Park, they will be handling all future plumbing, heating and electrical work for my 4 units, and will be recommended as the service provider of choice for the entire park.
Like most bigger plumbing companies, they have a pre-set price to perform a job.
If you want something done that you can't do yourself, then of course you expect to pay to have it completed. But you'd think an hourly rate would be quoted rather than menu pricing without seeing how easy/difficult the job will be.
When I called about my job I asked if there's a set price and I was told Yes. So I asked if they could tell me what it would be. The person in the field will have to tell you.
So, you don't know what your employee is going to charge me to do a job that your company has pre-determined I'll be charged?
Ummmmm, that doesn't make any sense.
Here's the hook; you make the appointment; wait for the plumber to arrive; they tell you there's a diagnostic fee, the fee is applied if you get the work done; then they tell you the cost, which they knew before they walked in the door.
Just know this going in and use them if you're comfortable with that process.
I was happy with the work performed, but the customer service side was lacking from the call takers, both scheduling and the manager who answered my question regarding their fees.
The 5 star reviews are absolutely 100% correct. My water heater pilot light went out and we weren't able to restart it. I called a few places and they said that they would try to get someone out to me but no promises. I saw the reviews from Reddick & Sons and gave them a call. And they informed me right away that someone would be there between 1-4. (I called at roughly 10:00 am that morning. I got a call from a Gilbert Rodrigues at 11:50 letting me know he would be there within 30 minutes. He was able to get me back up and running and informed me of ways to help prevent the pilot light from going out. Lots of good information and looking out for the customer. Great Job!
I hired Reddick & Sons because they were reasonably priced and gave me the most confidence of all the electricians who gave me estimates that the job could be done correctly with minimum damage to walls and cabinets. I had them put in central ceiling lights with wiring in my kid's bedrooms and replace the range hood fan in my kitchen. Our technician showed up on time and took real care not to damage or drop debris on our rugs and furniture. The light installations went as planned as did the hood range and they look beautiful. They came in with a can do spirit and did everything we asked them to do. I am absolutely hiring Reddick & Sons to put in a new outlet and exhaust fan in my master bathroom next month.

Our sump pump failed, unfortunately we had a big rain and our lower level had water throughout the whole floor (did not know it was the pump that failed until Mitch came for service). I called and got a fairly quick appointment and Mitch came out and took care of our problem. He was very informative and gave us options for a new pump. He also inspected the pipe on the outside and gave us recommendation on how to avoid problems from the outflow of the pump. While he was here, we asked him to look at our water heater, we knew we were on borrowed time, since we've been in our home for 16 1/2 years. We will have them replace the water heater, as well.
I am so happy with my experience with with Reddick & Sons!! They replaced a damaged faucet in our kitchen. The serviceman showed up on time and was incredibly helpful in giving us clear options on what the best course of action. He was totally transparent in the pricing for the services. Also, the company sent us a personalized thank you after the serices - with an amazon gift card. This is a FANSTASTIC company and we will use them again. Our AC died. The system was 22 years old, so it was a total HVAC replacement. Called around and got a couple of quotes. We were really frustrated by other companies' price schemes. We knew this would be expensive and just wanted a straightforward, fair price and a replacement recommendation that we could trust. Reddick & Sons provided all of that. disclaimer we didn't use them for work. However, we did get an estimate from them for the work we needed. first of all the person who came to the house was there for literally 3-5 minutes. Then the estimate that we recieved included details that didn't seem to pertain to our particular project- perhaps they have a copy/paste for similar projects? finally the estimate that we got was more than 3 TIMES that of other similar estimates.
Maybe they didn't want to work with us? maybe they didn't want the project but to be honest I would rather have them tell me that then send me an outrageous quote for the work. We have since had the work completed for much much less and it was phenomenal! you can find my review on the plumber we chose on yelp and google.
I am impressed by their wonderful customer service. I was unsatisfied with a recent service, they listened to my grievance, and refunded my service fee. I have used them one other time and the service was great, so maybe this was just a one-off. Overall, great family-owned company!
Gilbert has been sent twice to my place. The first time he installed my gas range and the second, he fixed a gas leak on my hot water heater. He is very knowledgeable and patient with me. He walks me through the process and gives me advice on the units he is working. The company has prompt, friendly service and has very reasonable pricing. Would absolutely recommend.

Definitely would recommend - I reached out to Reddick + Sons over the phone and Courtney quickly scheduled me with a technician the following day. When I had a work conflict come up I was able to call + connect with Courtney again and she easily rescheduled me for the next week.
The technician came out right on time and was able to address my 3 very random plumbing issues - broken plastic tool stuck in bathtub drain, new install on kitchen sink, and sulfuric smell from water.
They immediately fixed my bathtub and installed my kitchen sink which came out to be $480 total. They also immediately provided me with quotes on water heaters to help with the sulfur smell in addition to advice I could try before completely replacing the unit.
I will definitely be following up with them to replace my water heater in the future!

I got three quotes for installing a dedicated circuit for a hot tub. The first two quotes were both around $900. Reddick & Sons quoted $2,950 including the permit. The actual cost of the project was $650 upon completion from one of the other two companies. I have no clue why they would charge almost 3x what their competitors charge but I even tried to verify that their quote was correct and they confirmed it was. Definitely glad I went with another company.
It is so refreshing to find such a professional company. The technician arrived promptly today, after calling to let me know he was on the way. He immediately assessed my problem and determined the best way to correct it. The work was done after a very reasonable estimate was provided ... I would hire these folks again any time!

Daniel and his team are top notch. My 20+ year old AC unit died during the biggest heat wave in 2019. He was able to get a portable AC unit to help keep my house cool. His pricing was very reasonable. Significantly less than some of the competition.

With everything else going on right now the LAST thing I ever wanted to deal with was losing my AC on an 85 degree day, but they were able to come out the next day, were on time, and took care of quickly! Have technician on site...will weigh in on the actual service later (if the timeout rules for editing for Yelp allow) but just to snake a kitchen sink 1 story down to basement $350?????? - that seems excessive.
However being affected economically by COVID, being Friday (and anticipating weekend rates if cancelling), and having a family in need of water I'm paying extra.
An electrician working in our crawl space under our home suspected a plumbing leak, so we quickly called to get an inspection and repair. We had an inspection within 2 hours of our call. Luckily he saw that it was just rainwater. A thorough inspection showed there were no leaks in the drain or drinking water lines. There was no upselling and no costly repairs were required or recommended. We received great service, quick peace of mind, and a fair price for a prompt inspection. We will use them again.
Called at 8pm one night to get a drain unclogged for a rental property of mine. I live out of state so was not able to take care of this myself.
Was greeted by a very pleasant phone operator who was able to schedule a tech to come out the very next morning.
They were not able to quote me or even give a ball park price over the phone. They just let me know that it would be a $69 dollar diagnostic fee, which would be deducted from the cost of the job. I was in a pinch though so I accepted it.
The job, which was a basic bathtub unclogging, ended up costing me $215 dollars, and while it was a little on the higher end, the overall quality and professionalism of the experience will have me using these guys in the future. I would also recommend them to others.

Great service! Had a whole home humidifier installed for $950. They came out and went the extra mile to get the right parts and correct items that were not up to code. They listened to my questions and did not push any unnecessary repairs or services. Once installed they went over how to use and maintain the humidifier. Highly recommend them. Always be sure to give Reddick a call.
Alex the electrician was polite, competent and honest. Three great qualities that a home owner dreams of finding when hiring someone. We had previously hired Henry from de la sol to replace an electric outlet outdoors. The guy had jammed the cover over the outlet leaving it as a fire hazard. This is why honesty is so important as I mentioned. Instead of being honest about not knowing how to replace the outlet he left a mess.
Anyway, I put out a request in Yelp to get the outlet repaired and was contacted within 24 hours. The staff is friendly and professional. They referred Alex to me. He was on time and by taking a look a the issue that Henry the previous contractor had left, knew immediately what to do. He replaced the outlet within code and we are thrilled that not only it works now, but replaced professionally; giving us a piece of mind.
I have some projects coming up in spring and will hire this company again, and hopefully will get to work with Alex again!
Making appt was very easy and person showed up on time; but it was too EXPENSIVE! Just to fix the drain pipe from the garbage disposal into the wall was $325 and he was there about half hour. Very courteous plumber and job was well done but I think I will shop around next time.
Timely and proficient. Prices are a little high, but they came a long distance. Electrician was professional. I recommend.
We found a taped power cable when our upstairs flooring was replaced. Called around looking for someone to check/repair it. Carlos came and gave us an estimate, and then came back and installed a junction box, and did another job replacing a ceiling fan. Easy to deal with and did a great job

I honestly would give a million stars if I could. I had my entire HVAC system and hot water heater replaced yesterday. This experience from start to finish has been fantastic -- especially considering I'm a novice at this and had a lot of questions for Rebecca in the beginning.
Danny came out to do the measurements and was able to give me guidance on the parts and save me money along the way. He could have charged me more to do a bigger job, but he instead advised me to get a similar part to what I had previously to ensure there would be less work, time, effort, cost, etc. He also was just a cool dude and I could tell from that one interaction how much integrity he has and the pride he takes in his company.
Danny, I hope you read this - your team was so awesome today. They worked incredibly hard and maintained a polite, professional, and fun attitude the entire time. I turned up the classic rock and let them do their thing. They were great with my puppy running around barking at them and made this a really easy experience.

Had a leaky pipe that was properly repaired by this company. I won't be likely to use them again because of their rates - they charged me twice what I was quoted by a local plumber. Lesson learned.
Reddick and Sons set the bar really high when it comes to service. I had them come out for plumbing quotes 3 times. Got the quote before the representative left my house. They never pressured me into buy now with annoying sales tactics. They were always extremely helpful, professional, and polite.
That being said I called them back for replacing a hot water heater. I asked the technician to repair the one in place and he provided a quote for that work. Then explained in detail the of why he would recommend replacing the whole unit. He pointed out specific traits for the one I had and explained my options without trying to convince me to go his way or spend extra money. He also recommended replacing several valves throughout our basement to ball valves. Again, no pressure and several were not related to the hot water tank but he was sharing advice as if it was his home.
AFTER! We agreed to the work he offered to include new valves on the pipes that connected to the water heater. At no extra cost to us he installed new ball valves with drain plugs for winterizing the hose bibs.
Well, our a/c sounds like a lawn mower. Guess who I am calling this morning.

Awesome company, with courteous office staff -every person I spoke with the various times I called (for different reasons) was patient, professional, and sincerely kind. Our AC repair technician, Dave, gets the highest praise of all; a knowledgeable, considerate and efficient worker, but an equally good human being (we could tell his goal was to do a good job, not sell us on unnecessary and expensive new equipment, and his compassion towards others was apparent in his small talk.) Dave's an asset to his company, and Reddick and Sons redefines customer service in a time where many in the service industry forget to put the customer's best interest first.
We're thankful to all those who posted great reviews before us, as we've now found the plumbing, heating & electrical service provider we'll be staying loyal to for years to come!
Mitch was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, and professional. I had a sudden plumbing issue and called them first thing in the morning. They had a technician scheduled for 2:00 the same day I called. They called back within an hour and said he could arrive sooner if I preferred; I agreed as I had a major plumbing backup and needed someone ASAP. Mitch arrived and I couldn't have had a better experience. I definitely recommend this business.
I can't say enough about this family owned company. I was without air-conditioning for two days when my HVAC company said that it was an electrical problem and referred us to Reddick And Sons. The company sent Alex over within 2 hours of getting my call even with me being a brand new customer. He took stock of our HVAC and electrical systems and instantly knew what the problem was but couldn't access the junction box where the the defective wires were housed. After careful analysis, he figured out how to access what he needed and he resolved the defect and had the AC working again.
He was professional, highly skilled, honest and courteous, persistent and had an unwavering work ethic. He never gave up on my problem and saw it through to the end

Shontel came promptly during the 4 hour interval and did a professional job of replacing the defective pressure expansion tank. He wore a mask and shoe covers and left my apartment in clean condition. Reddick and Sons handled the scheduling flawlessly with email reminders and their mostly touch free, paperless invoicing. The $335 invoice is certainly on the high side for this type of work but with the quality of work and scheduling that they do, it's reasonable. I plan to use their services again and recommend them highly.
We have been using Reddick and Sons for a few years. We have found them to be amazingly honest and trustworthy. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services. We will continue for years to come.
Would not provide an online quote to repair clogged toilet. Wanted a $69 diagnostic fee to provide an in person quote. This is a pretty standard service with a pretty standard fix to rooter it. I choose a different provider, and definitely won't contact this company in the future.

The amazing HVAC installation team Shaun, Joe and Joey exceeded expectations! They were as a team and individually professional, personable, efficient. They each took the time to explain a different part of the process to me and took great pains to prep the house so they could keep it as clean as possible. Impressive representation of the company and its standards. So synchronized and seamless everything you would hope any installation would be and more. No detail overlooked even to the point that the install lines/ electric on the outside unit were artistically placed to reflect a professional installation from the street. Installed a new air conditioner in a very tight and inconvenient space. Had another company come out and said that they couldn't do it because they don't make systems that would fit and recommended that we do major structural work before they would consider it. Reddick came out and within a few hours had located a system and the component parts that would fit, and had an estimate ready. They were able to schedule the job within a couple weeks. The crew was outstanding - very neat, professional and respectful of our home. The whole experience from estimate through install was great. Price was in line with what we would have paid elsewhere.
We had a new furnace and AC unit purchased and installed. Very happy with the service we received from Reddick & Sons. Would highly recommend them to family and friends.

David and Becca were nothing short of amazing! The team at Reddick and Sons is completely worth the 5 stars! They were attentive and very knowledgeable on our issues and went above and beyond to make sure we fully understood our HVac and how to handle issue in the future! David treated us as if we were family and even became best friends with our dog! I would highly recommend Reddick & Sons to everyone!
I cannot say enough about Reddick and Sons. They showed up when they said they would, offered a reasonable price and stood behind their work. Sean, Joe, Joey and Jan came out to install a mini-split. This sounds easier than it was as they installed it in my sun room to replace a gas stove. It took multiple visits to get it all set up so it worked for us, but the whole time we worked with them, they were frendly, communicative, professional and respectful of us and our house. They were as focused as we were on getting this right and in the end we did. I cannot thank them enough. To give you an example of the quality of their work. They had to take down all the signs I had on one wall. First, they did it, rather than having us do it, then they took pictures before they started so they could make sure to put everything back correctly. they even rehung the one sign that had to be moved to accomodate the new unit. I know this is a small thing, but it represents the level of detail they went to make this project happen. This was an unusual project, and they did it beautifully. If you need HVAC you should really call Reddick and Sons!
Expensive (nearly $600 for an hour and half labor with parts we supplied) but are not ALL Plumbers? My doctor once told me when asked why he chose the medical field he said, I was going to be Plumber just for the money, but after second thought, I figured there would come a day when I just could not bend in those awkward positions.
Our issue was replacement of the Powder Room sink faucett. Had to have the cut-off valves below the sink replaced as they were 30+ years old, leaking and wouldnt close off anymore anyway.
I muust say, from the initial phone conversation at 1PM telling them I had to have it done TODAY, they rearranged another persons schedule to two days later to give me thier spot, to our workman Gilbert, 5 stars out of 5.
Yes, I would use them again...oh, and none of this pay us $XXX.XX
up front before I get thier for an estimate, then we charge $500 just for the faucett, plus another $300 for the valves crud.
You will understand the integrity you are dealing with upon speaking in the first call.
I had great experience with Reddick & Sons when I had them to replace my water heater tank. I searched and talked several companies, and Reddick give me the best estimate and explained everything. Since my work schedule is very limited to schedule for the service, they were very flexible and accommodated me the earlier date. It was pleasant to communicate with e-mail and the phone. A few days after I got new water heater tank, I had some questions about water pressure and temperature setting, he came to my house again and showed me what I need to do that situation without charging a fee. Very kind and honest people. I will call them again if I need plumbers/ electrician.
I'm extremely pleased with the way the service call with R&S went. The tech, Dave, was thorough and curtious and was able to diagnose and resolve the wiring issue preventing by humidifier from talking to my furnace. More importantly, he took the time to answer all of my questions and explain how elements of my furnace and humidifier works.
Really appreciate the prompt, quality, curtious service and the price was quite competitive. Will certainly reach back out for additional service if needed in the future.

My home had a small leak in the pipe that feeds propane gas to my backup Generac home generator, and Reddick fixed the leak on the same day I called them at a reasonable price. The owner made an extra effort to call me and spoke to me about my repair to make sure my concerns were addressed, and I was happy with the professionalism and expert work of their friendly and experienced technician Mitch.

Danny is a problem solver. I asked Reddick and Sons to come out for a seasonal A/C servicing. Knowing there was likely a bigger issue with a critter doing damage to an outside power cord. No need for an electrician; Danny and his assistant dug deep (literally, had to, unfortunately, cut into my drywall to discover the wiring disaster caused by the chipmunk). They moved furniture, minimalized the damage, made the repair, put on a small panel to give access to the outside power supply (always a problem with older houses like mine). Made an extra trip for supplies. And importantly, kept me up to date every step of the way about what they were doing and how much it would cost to make the repairs.
Giving Reddick and Sons 5 stars isn't enough. I'm recommending them to all my neighbors and friends.

This was my first time doing business with Reddick and Shontel showed up at the FIRST thing of my 12 to 4 time slot so that was great!! He was super pleasant, king and courteous and I was most impressed. He tightened a connection. It turned out to be sort of a minor thing but frankly, he could have told me anything. He tidied up after himself and I could not have asked for more. Reddick & Sons has a new customer thanks to Shontel!!!
This weekend we ran out of water. Isn't that the way things go? So Monday morning I was frantically trying to find someone to come and help diagnose the issue. Reddick & Sons made me an appt for the next but but assured me they would try to get someone out the same day. I reached another service and they came out. Within 10 minutes they diagnosed a leak in the well or the well pump was going bad. Either way they would have to dig down to the well and it would cost $1,000-$5,000. Reddick's staff called to say that they had a technician in the area they could send my way and I told her I had already had someone came by and what they said. She urged me to get a second opinion with their technician. I am so glad I did. Matthew showed up and after a while of talking I had explained the previous company's actions & determination that morning. Matthew kept looking and checked every water receptacles outside and most of the ones inside. He said I just don't see signs of a leak, do you mind if I go around and double check everything once more? a little while later he said come and look at this. A guest had stayed the weekend in our basement bedroom and used the bathroom down there and let the toilet run for the past several days, running the well dry. Until we got next to the toilet, we couldn't hear it. Needless to say, Matthew's knowledge and determination saved me a lot of money. He fixed the toilet for us and by the next day our well was replenished. Thank you Matthew for being a great human being who didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge in this field for a large pay out because from now on we will only use Reddick and Son's services. Matt Glick is a fantastic plumber - personable, conscientious, and considerate. He has patience and is willing to go above and beyond to offer tips and suggestions. I can't recommend them more highly. They were super helpful, super professional and completed the estimate and installation within one or two days of my request. The plumber, Shontel, wore a mask the whole time and was super kind and professional. He did a great job and even fixed another, smaller issue, without us needing to ask. Their customer service was amazing too - we had received cheaper estimates from other vendors and still chose to go with Reddick & Sons to replace our water heater due to their awesome customer service.
I am overwhelmed that there are still companies out there like Reddick. I have searched high and low and asked friends and family for recommendations and have finally hit the jackpot. The gentleman who came out was passionate, friendly, courteous, explained things to me in layman's form and re-explained the issue at hand to my husband. He took pride in his work, was not pushy and PUT ON SHOE COVERS! Thank you for helping our family of 8 have heat after a long Thanksgiving holiday without it.

I met Danny through my Realtor when a week before we were listing our house our hot water went out. And to make matters worse, it was on New Years. Danny came out without issues and had us up and running in no time! We have since used him a few times in our new house and is awesome to work with! Super knowledgeable, detail oriented and does impeccable work.

They were able to accommodate my schedule. Showed up on time and called prior to arriving. Diagnosed the problem and provided several options. Did an excellent job replacing some of the pipes and the shut-off valve to the hot water heater. They were very neat, wore shoe covers in the house and wore masks the entire time. Very pleasant experience. Will definitely call again if needed.

I have used Reddick & Sons multiple times. They've replaced many shutoff valves in my older home, including the main water shutoff and one of the hose bibs. They have also cleared a couple of clogs that were beyond my ability to address. In all cases, they were able to get someone to my house early the next day to do the work. The guys who did the work were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. My feeling is that the cost was fair. They were recommended to me by a family member, and I'd definitely recommend them to someone else.

I just had my water heater and 17-year HVAC replaced with Reddick, everything went great.

Called Reddick & Sons because our heating unit for our upstairs died on us. It's freezing outside so we needed someone to come out quick. They answered my call first thing in the morning when I reached out to them. Their receptionist was pleasant and accommodating, offering to send a technician out right away that afternoon. Fees were simply explained and the technician arrived right on time. My husband was home to talk to David (the technician) and when I arrived home from my errands, he raved about how thorough and good he was. He was very impressed by David's knowledge and willingness to show us how everything works and what to watch for to keep things in good condition. My husband never raves about anyone, so that says something. Thanks Reddick!
Just had a new hot water heater installed (for an old but functioning one). Discovered that night that we had no hot water. Danny Reddick (the owner) drove out at 9 pm to fix the problem, which turned out to be a circuit breaker that didn't come back on. He earned the 5 star review for his company by personally making sure things were right. We otherwise would not have considered using them again, but will now.

Miguel from Reddick & Sons installed a water softener for us today and did an awesome job at a very reasonable price. He even figured out how to install a kitchen bypass for us which we wanted but weren't sure was feasible. He explained everything he was doing so we understood the reasoning behind it. After seeing how much knowledge and expertise he brought to the project, I was really glad I hadn't tried to tackle it myself! This is our second outstanding experience with Reddick & Sons! Highly recommend!

We have used Reddick & Sons 3 times in the past and each time have found them to be great to work with. I had a hard time finding a plumber who was reliable, professional and that I trusted to do the work well. However, once I found Reddick & Sons I did not have to search anymore! I also appreciate that I don't have to be on hold forever to talk to someone and my call is routed right away. This past week we had a toilet installed. We have also had a hot water heater and basement pump installed in the past. I have nothing but positive things to say about them.
Our air conditioning system stopped cooling so we gave Reddick and Sons a call. We had never used them before but decided to give it a try based on their solid reviews. The technician who came out was courteous and knowledgeable. He diagnosed a defective fan and offered a replacement aftermarket fan. He also confirmed our system was in good shape despite being 10 years old. Reddick and sons exceeded our expectations and we will be using them in the future.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism shown by both Mitch and Micheal plumber and electrician respectively. I got same day service and my list of problems taken care of promptly.
Here is the part I did not expect the pricing was reasonable! I highly recommend this company other firms could learn how to treat customers from these guy's.
GREAT JOB REDDICK!
I called Reddick and Sons to fix or diagnose an air conditioning problem. As a new home owner, I had never used a HVAC company before. I took a chance with Yelp. There were about 15 5 star reviews..but unfortunately I should have used a company with at least 50 honest reviews.
My problem with Reddick and Sons is That first of all they were late. I was at the mercy of an HVAC company in the middle of June...so you can imagine the delima. Two tech's came out and inspected my home (3 floors) from top to bottom. Long story short they said that I needed an whole new air compressor for $4,000.00. No Not a new HVAC system, just an air compressor...$4,000.00!!! They also suggested some helpful hints as to put rocks under my AC unit and close air vents. They charged me $500 to clean the outside fan and to add freon which they knew I didn't need..
I called another company and got the real diagnosis. I had particulates in my line which was a simple fix and they charged me $250.
In addition to charging $500 they also slapped a huge Riddick & Son's promotional sticker on my HVAC unit inside and out without asking...Zero Stars if possible.
Reddick and Sons is a hidden gem who I would recommend to anyone. They installed a brand new AC and handler in my home. Not only was their pricing competitive but their professionalism and knowledge made all the difference. They made recommendations based on what was truly needed, not just what would make them more money. I will definitely be using them for future needs and highly recommend you give them the opportunity to earn your business. You will not be disappointed!

Reddick & Sons are the best in town!! We had an emergency electrical issue in our kitchen and needed service ASAP!! I spoke with Christina on the phone and she was most helpful and was able to get a Tech out the same day! The tech, Jan, was on time (when giving 30 minutes notice) and very professional. He was able to pinpoint the issue and resolve it in less than a couple hours. Considering this was an emergency, they also didn't want an arm, leg and first born to get the job done. Reddick & Sons is now my only go to for HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical. You guys ROCK!!!

Jan (from Reddick and Sons) came out to troubleshoot an electrical circuit that got knocked out during some recent interior carpentry work. The problem was pretty difficult to trace and it took quite a few troubleshooting tricks to figure it out. Jan put a lot of energy into the issue and had a great attitude the whole time. He solved a very difficult problem in about 3 hours. I'm very relieved, they did an awesome job.
Wow! Outstanding service pros. I thought I had a major issue with my HVAC system and called Danny at 6pm on a Saturday...he arrived w/in an hour, troubleshooted the problem and the HVAC was up and running again in no time. Absolutely blessed to have found Reddick & Sons and I guarantee you will too. I will NEVER use another company after the outstanding experience with Reddick & Sons today. Was so, so appreciative of Mitch (plumber) and Courtney (customer service). They were able to squeeze in a same-day inspection to give an estimate on a small leak in my basement on the old original cast iron pipe, and was able to get it repaired the following week. We just purchased the home and it had clearly been going on for a while, but the leak was sporadic and so small that I figured it could wait. Turns out someone before us thought it would be okay to pump their sump pump into the pipe instead of outside!! The volume and pressure caused it to leak. Instead of jack hammering the concrete to replace the old pipe, the sump pump was redirected back outside where it belonged (and legal!) which stopped the leaking. We might have to replace the old pipe in the future, or redirect other interior pipes to a different one to avoid it/cap it off, but I'm just happy there will be no more leaks for the time being. I also plan to have Mitch come out to do a couple of other projects that previous owners neglected.

My mom had been having issues with her HVAC for quite some time. I tried to get the company I used for my system to come out, but the tech didn't show up (which was in contrast to my experience with them). Obviously my mom wasn't thrilled because she had taken off work for the appointment, so I started researching for another company on Yelp and talking with neighbors. After having a couple of companies out, we decided to move forward with Reddick & Sons and I am very happy with that decision! We were both really pleased with their service, and most impressed with their ethics. They quoted my mom a fair, comparable price for a new unit and treated her with the utmost respect and professionalism. They stand behind their work and are quick to assist with any questions or concerns. And, the system works great. I highly recommend. Thanks to them for treating my mom well and doing a great job installing her new system.

We had a great overall experience with Reddick and Sons. They came out quickly to assess a leaky hot water faucet in the bathroom that was progressively getting worse and draining our tank. After ordering specialty tools online and multiple DIY attempts we could not get the valve off and surrendered. Not only was the job done professionally and efficiently but Danny went above and beyond. He could not remove the valve initially either and thought they might have to break through the shower tile to do the repair. However Danny came up with a brilliant, out-of-the-box solution and returned with an automotive wrench. Our leaky faucet was fixed and our shower tile remains intact. :) These guys are knowledgeable, friendly, and honest and do a fantastic job!

I have now used Reddick and Sons several more times for multiple homes I have. All I can say is these guys are the best and Danny Reddick stands behind his work and will do anything for you. He even offered to come help me move a fridge on a Saturday....unreal! All of their work has been top notch and what really sets them apart is they don't blow smoke and try to up-sell you on stuff you really don't need. No doubt about it. Reddick & Sons are a first class organization. From the initial outreach, they have been prompt, professional and efficient. Matt came by to install a new circuit for a microwave I'm adding in my kitchen along with some GFI outlets. He had to drill through my basement ceiling to run the line from the circuit breaker (in the basement) up to the kitchen on the upper level. He hit some unexpected blockages along the way and it took him longer than expected. He was laboring but stayed cool, calm and collected and never once showed frustration-and I might add that its a steamy 96 degrees today. I didn't want to bother him too much but asked a number of questions as he was working and he thoroughly and expertly explained what he was doing. He was just a great guy to talk to. Overall, great customer service and reasonable pricing are enough for me to have them come back to do more work in the future.
We had a Carrier Infinity Greenspeed 20-seer 4-ton system installed for our first floor from Reddick. They did a fine install job - well above average. Friendly technicians, so very willing to answer the questions I thought to ask. This high-end system is new to us and works very well. It is much more efficient and effective than what we had before (a standard heat pump that could not really keep this house warm in the dead of winter). So why not five stars? A high-end heat pump system should have (I learned) larger transfer pipes installed - so from what I see, we are not getting the full benefit of this system. It works well mind you - but from what I observe from the highly sophisticated thermostat control system, we are not getting quite what we would have had with larger transfer pipes. I have to wonder why that was not mentioned or recommended.

I have used Reddick & Sons many times now for both plumbing and electric, including several large and small jobs. Danny Reddick is such a great person to work with and the staff & technicians at Reddick are always so responsive, professional and reliable. They do a fantastic job each and every time. I would highly recommend Reddick & Sons.
Early one morning, I discovered a fairly severe leak on the kitchen counter and under the kitchen sink. The cabinet was flooded with water, but I couldn't determine the source of the leak. It was a few hours before businesses would begin to open, so I searched for plumbers on yelp and liked the reviews I read for Reddick & Sons. I saw that they allowed online bookings, so using the online booking tool, I summarized the issue and asked for help. At 08:40 my phone rang, and a plumber told me he was en route to my home and would be there in 20 minutes. Fantastic!
The plumber was professional in demeanor. He quickly diagnosed and solved the main issue, then looked for secondary issues to be sure that the problem was fully resolved.
He completed his work and cleaned up - all within about 30 minutes. Great service and great people. I will definitely use them again and highly recommended Reddick & Sons.

We had a great experience with Reddick & Sons. We had an issue with our water pump and another plumber reviewed the issue for 5 minutes and without doing anything just said we need to replace the pump. In seeking a second opinion, we reached out to Reddick & Sons. The tech (M. Glick) was on time, very professional and took the time to run diagnostics on the tank. He was able to fix the problem without replacing the entire tank saving us almost $1,000. Plus he didn't have the part and was able to call a colleague to bring the missing part and fix the issue the same day. It's no wonder their reviews are all 5 stars. They will certainly be my go to plumber in the future.
This will be our go-to electrical service from now on. Excellent service from the electrician who worked on my house. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. When he didn't have enough of the regular, lower cost smoke detectors on hand, he installed additional combined smoke/CO detectors at no additional cost. The only issue I had was that the appt was 12-4, and when he did not arrive in that time frame, I had to call the office to find out why. I understand jobs run over and mine was a same day job (so I greatly appreciate being fit into the schedule), which makes a late arrival more likely, but that should be communicated to the customer without needing a call.
This was my first time using Plumbmasters and I can say this will not be my last. After being in our townhome less than a month we noticed a leak in our rec room at the lower level. After opening the wall, we determined it came from the main drain pipe. My next thought was to get on yelp and find a reputable company near by which led me to Plumbmasters. Very next day I spoke with Danny and explained my situation. He was able to come the same day to assess the issue and provided me with a very reasonable quote. After a whole debacle with the warranty company, and a visit by their plumber, who wasn't as professional, I called Plumbmasters back. Danny came the very next day and repaired the leak. He even pointed out and corrected some other oddities. Overall, Danny was extremely professional, knowledgable, and considerate. I will be sure to recommend and utilize Plumbmasters in the future.

Our ac stopped working in the middle of summer on one of the hottest days. Husband was at work over an hour away & I was home with 4 kids, one of them a baby. Reddick & Sons responded immediately & came out to fix the problem with in a very small amount of time then gave me pointers for future reference. I cannot recommend this company highly enough! Very personable, as well.
So far, very impressed! I sent in an online request today, got a call within an hour, and a technician at my home by 2:30PM. We called in for what initially appeared to be a plumbing leak in our home, but Miguel was able to provide his professional opinion right away. He did not feel that this was a plumbing related issue and was very honest with us. He provided a quote for Reddick & Sons to complete a thorough investigation, but told us it is more than likely an exterior building component (we live in a condo). They could have most certainly told us that an inspection where the drywall was cut out was necessary, but they were very honest and told us to monitor the water spot for a while. Great customer service!

I have called Plumbmasters on many occasions including snaking my pipes, installing a tankless water heater, handling all plumbing during a kitchen renovation, and even fixing a leaking faucet outside my home. The recommendation from the owner of the company to upgrade to an efficient tankless heater was incredibly appreciated as we have seen a big reduction in our utilities. The staff is friendly, fast to respond, and the work is high quality without the high cost. I will continue to recommend this company to all my family and friends.
After talking to several plumbing companies, Danny was the most straight forward about what it would take to fix our leaky water pressure regulator. We didn't have to waste an entire day off with long wait times either since we got a fairly short 2 hour service window. He also gave us a complimentary quote and also gave helpful advice on what was really necessary versus what could wait. Never felt like he was trying to add extra fixes to pad the bill. As a master tradesman in other areas like electrical and HVAC services, I would not hesitate to call him for other work and gladly recommend to friends and family.
Called Danny Reddick about a part bursting on in-laws well. Contacted Danny on Thanksgiving and he responded within an hour. The next day he fixed the problem on the well. I highly recommend Reddick and Sons for their service.
