I called Plump Right Plumbing later in the day, i thought they wouldn't come over until the next day. Brent came by immediately and stayed until the job was complete.
Since I'm giving up DIY plumbing Plumb Right will be my first call.

UPDATE: 4 years later
My HVAC system was installed April 2017. I'd been very happy with the install until this WINTER. Because of covid, this is the FIRST winter I'm home 24/7 and have noticed how NOISY this unit is. It makes a banging sound when it powers down that's really irritating. Sometimes, it's so loud it makes my dog bark, which is really annoying - especially at nite when I'm trying to sleep. So, I'm taking off one star. The company, BBQ is stellar & gets 5 stars, but this RUUD unit is too noisy for my liking. If I weren't stuck in the house 24/7, I probably never would've noticed it.

My AC compressor recently stopped working. I contacted several companies for an AC diagnostic and Daniel's Home Services immediately replied. They arrived at my home a few hours later. Carlos along with a second technician determined the compressor was bad after troubleshooting the system. Within 20 minutes of Carlos leaving my home he verified the compressor was still under manufacturer warranty and provided a very fair quote. Within a day, two technicians came to my house to repair my AC unit. I highly recommend Daniel's Home Services for any AC repair issues. Very professional and prompt.

What a great experience. I have had trouble finding HVAC firms that service Inverters, and I just happen to run into a Sila Technician Billy Bollon who was in my neighborhood on another job. He was very polite and confirmed they did, so I made an appointment.
Billy showed up early, was very professional, conscientious, and even our dog loved him! He was very thorough, and explained all the charges up front so there would be no surprises. Was very pleased with the service, and happy that I found my new HVAC company.

Within 24 hours I had a bathtub faucet break AND my boiler died. I called Thos E Clark because I'd had a representative out a few weeks earlier to talk through potential bathroom remodels (George) and thought the service was good without being overly pushy.
I thought Thos E Clark really delivered good service. First, they split the service charge ($69) between the plumber and the boiler guys, which was appreciated. Second, the President himself (Mike Hartman) got involved when the cause of the boiler breakdown was elusive. He knew I was frustrated that we didn't exactly figure out what was going on (we think the pipes froze because I'd had the temp down when I was out of town, but we don't know if that was the cause or the result of the failure) and he really did his best to take on the matter personally. He also offered a discount on some follow up maintenance recommended by the technician AND he called a week later to check in and make sure everything was okay. While we didn't 100% figure out the problem (apparently boilers are an art not a science), I think Thos E Clark did everything that they could and delivered caring customer service. I have two bathrooms to remodel in the near future and will definitely give them a call for a bid.

Dakota is the best! He punctual, covers his shoes, always friendly and very detailed. He never suggests anything that doesn't need to be done right away and I always trust all of his recommendations-- I APPRECIATE THE HONESTY!

If I can put minus I will put -5 stars. They installed my brand new cooktop inappropriate. After 3 times visitations, they couldn't fix any troubles or find problem. They explained to me that they did all they supposed to do. However actually there are 5 wrong parts have been put. VIA incorporate technician came to fix all of them. After 1 & 1/2 months later my cooktop starts working.

I reached out a couple of weeks in advance to booked a non-urgent plumbing job over Yelp's request a quote feature. I got a response to call, did so, and booked a Saturday from 8-10am specifically so I wouldn't have to take off work. A few days after I initially reached out to make the booking I got another call asking me if I would like to schedule a visit. I said I had already done so, figuring there was just a simple in-office miscommunication.
Come the day of my appointment, I was ghosted. No plumber, no call, nothing.
The following Monday I received a text that a plumber was on the way (not the one they told me either). I called and they said I was scheduled for Monday from 2-4pm, which I would not have chosen since I would've taken time off.
Needless to say, I'll be finding a different company.

The amazing HVAC installation team Shaun, Joe and Joey exceeded expectations! They were as a team and individually professional, personable, efficient. They each took the time to explain a different part of the process to me and took great pains to prep the house so they could keep it as clean as possible. Impressive representation of the company and its standards. So synchronized and seamless everything you would hope any installation would be and more. No detail overlooked even to the point that the install lines/ electric on the outside unit were artistically placed to reflect a professional installation from the street. It all started with a professional service call by Joe who took his time to investigate and diagnose the problem. He left me with all the options and discussed the merits of each. Great job! Thanks!

After turning our heat on for the first time this year, we noticed water dripping out of the bottom of our furnace. I reached out to a few HVAC providers on a Saturday night around 5:00 PM to get some estimates. Sean responses roughly 10 minutes later and after a few clarifying questions, said he could be there the next day between 4 and 7. His fee for a weekend consult was only $10 more than a weekday consult. The next day, he called me at 3 to say he was done early with another job and wanted to know if he could come by before our window. He was very polite and professional and identified the relatively easy fix after about 15 minutes, and even showed us how to fix it ourselves in the future. I was thrilled to work with him and will certainly reach out to him again for any HVAC needs.

From Steve who took the call at the call centre to Brice the technician, we had an overall great experience with OHA. They were friendly, conscientious and expertly knowledgeable and our gas fireplace was sorted out with minimum fuss or hassle. Brice diagnosed the problem instantly and fixed the fireplace, also pointing out that the replacement part was more appropriate to the repair than the original builders' component. Having tried another provider before who could not diagnose nor quote nor be more communicative, we had low expectations. However OHA definitely made our day and will receive return-business from us in future. Can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Pablo came to repair my dishwasher and diagnosed the problem quickly. I had a couple other jobs (replacing an outlet in my kitchen and a ceiling vent in my upstairs bath) that I asked about and he was able to help me with those as well. I highly recommend him and will use him again. Responsive, reliable and fair price.

Jiffy Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Master Pete probably saved my family's lives tonight when he inspected our fireplace. He noted a very serious issue and corrected it before anyone was hurt by inhaling noxious gases. Not only that, Pete was actually servicing a neighbors fireplace and my wife just so happened to ask him to take a look. He graciously visited and made an immediate change which again, will probably save our lives from monoxide poisoning! Jiffy has my full faith and confidence and I will trust them to any future needs. When you find a good company, you gotta let people know. Seriously, go with Jiffy.

We had John Nugent & Sons recently quote and install a 2-ton Carrier heat pump to replace a very old system (including a 38-year-old air handler in a very tight space) and the experience was excellent. We received three proposals for a new system and Nugent's price was very, very attractive for the exact same equipment as a competitor. Since their recent reviews were very good we selected their proposal. Once we signed the proposal they were able to send a tech for a pre-inspection within a day or two. The actual system installation was able to be performed about one week later and was handled very professionally by Juan and Isaac. They were right on time and very careful with keeping things clean (the air handler was on our third floor) and when they left you couldn't even tell they'd been there. They were friendly and answered all our questions (e.g. how's it going?) throughout the day. Their office staff is also superb - very friendly and responsive on the scheduling phone calls and with help registering the system afterwards. I would heartily recommend John Nugent & Sons.

These guys were great to work with. We had a heating and A/C system replaced last week. The guys who came out to install showed up on time and finished an hour early. They couldn't be nicer. I even had to reschedule this appointment once and they were very cool about it. Didn't give me a hard time.
I highly recommend this business!!

First of all, I wish I would've read the yelp reviews before ever calling this company but we live and learn right. I called magnolia plumbing to find and fix a leak coming from the ceiling on the second level of my house. They send a young lady named Rebecca Flores and although she was nice enough, she was not a licensed plumber or plumber at all for that matter, but a construction worker with only one year of experience at that. Anyway, on the third level of my house, there is a water heater a bathroom and a furnace so any of these could possibly be the cause of the leak. The furnace literally had water around it but the leak on the second level of the house appeared to be under the bathroom. So Rebecca told me it was the toilet after drilling 3 smalls holes in the ceiling and flushing the toilet and seeing that the ceiling leak. I wasn't convinced I thought it may be the furnace. So I turned off the AC and Rebecca repeated the same process with flushing the toilet and then she confidently said: it's definitely the toilet. I was still unsure so I asked her could she cut open a small portion of the ceiling to be sure. She said, it's best not to cut open the ceiling because water seeks to the lowest level so the leak may not be coming from something over that spot and also it's $300. Rebecca told me I really didn't need to get the ceiling cut open because she was pretty sure it was the toilet and then she said I quote I'm trying to save you some money. She said that the wax ring needed to be replaced and possibly the flashing. I asked her AGAIN was she sure, and she said yes, she said this kind of thing happens all the time. So I had the work done for an absurd $484.
The very next day the ceiling was leaking worst. I was highly upset I called Magnolia and I let them know exactly how I felt and I requested a refund but they said they will send someone else out, and I had to specify to them to send a license senior plumber. Before magnolia people came out again I had a real plumber from another company to detect the leak. The first thing the real plumber did was cut open the ceiling where it was leaking and from there you can see the ducts from the furnace was above the leaking ceiling and was the cause. The toilet pipes were literally on the opposite of the house and had absolutely nothing to do with the leak at all. Magnolia people came and saw this. This time they sent 3 people including Rebecca and they all look and took pictures and saw that the work that they did had absolutely nothing to do with the leak. They misdiagnosed me.
I called Magnolia General manager Rick and explained to him at this point I didn't want them touching anything else in my house because now I can't trust that they know what their talking about, the only thing I want is my money back because they misdiagnosed me, despite the fact I did everything I could to avoid that.
Rick said they will not give me my money back because they fixed a leak even though it wasn't the leak I called about. Rick refuses to acknowledge that they misdiagnose me even with evidence. Rick refuses to answer my calls so I have to text to explain myself. They have not as of today offer any type of solution. They refuse to give me even a partial refund. Even if I actually wanted them to send someone else out they said they will charge me full price to work on what they should've been working on in the first place. All because Rebecca Flores miscalculated the reason for my leak and Magnolia refuses to acknowledge that I am $484 short and I still have the same leak from 2 weeks ago and no word from Magnolia to try to resolve the situation.

Delivered and installed gas range, microwave and dishwasher. Quoted me $280 to replace a 8 inch gas pipe and valve. After I paid $350 to have the unit installed! Mike and sons are a huge scam! And will rip you off at every turn. They quoted me for a door once at 4times the price of the second quote I got and went with. The installer said if you don't like it then you can hire someone else
