We needed someone to look at 2 external electrical outlets & were recommended to Reddick & Sons. We made an appointment online, received an email confirmation the night before the appointment and a phone call when they were 30 minutes away. Michael was prompt, thorough and friendly. We'll definitely use them again for future needs.

My AC motor blew and Drymount was the first and most responsive company I found on Yelp.  Service was incredible - they got here on time, diagnosed them issue, and committed to fixing it. We have used them for HVAC service and always found them first-rate.  This time they leveled the unit outside and fixed a squeak we had they said was a loose baffle in the ductwork.  While they don't do ductwork repair they were able to brace it so it didn't move and the squeak is gone.

Roberto has been at our home before and I'm always happy to see him.  He's professional, courteous, knowledgeable, doesn't waste time and makes sure to pet my dog.  This time he needed a 2nd tech to help and came with Jose.  Jose was just as professional, courteous and helpful.

If you are looking for a top-notch HVAC company you gotta call these guys.  I've used others before, and had a contract with one I won't name for many years and they weren't as knowledgeable, courteous and spent hours doing (and often I had to call them back the next day) what these guys manage to do in less than an hour.

We received an outstanding service tune up for our heating system. The response time was fast, and the technician arrived on-time just as they advertise.  He was extremely courteous, and definitely knowledgeable about our type of system and what needed to be done. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

On February 12th, 2022, W.L. Staten sent a tech out to install a simple easy trap on my basement unit and a wet switch on my attic unit. Since that visit, my life has been turned upside down!!!

On that same day, five hours prior, I had my ducts cleaned by another company. Before the W.L. Staten tech arrived, my heat had been running successfully without any problems for five hours prior to their arrival.
When the tech arrived, he advised that the install of the easy trap and wet switch would take approximately 40 minutes in total. Almost close to two hours later, the tech was still in my attic installing the wet switch.

When I approached him to see what the problem was, he kept saying that there was something with the fan. When he advised that it was okay to turn the heat back on, all of this smoke started coming from my vents in my master bedroom. The room got instantly foggy. When I asked him what he did to my system, he said it was like that when I came, which was a lie!! Both systems were in tip top shape before the tech arrived. Prior tSmoke was NEVER coming from my vents!!!

I called back to the company and spoke to Chris, who was so incredibly rude to me and was making me feel like I did something wrong!

The next morning, February 13th, I woke up severally dizzy and have been plagued with health issues that have worsened ever since!!! The fire department and Washington Gas have been called to get to the bottom of why my HVAC is making me sick. All they can tell me is that no carbon monoxide is being emitted from the units, which I already knew from previous inspections.

As time progressed, my dizziness had turned into numbness and tingling in my head, and lower extremities. The inside of my nose, mouth, throat and tongue starts burning every time the heat kicks in. I would get sharp pains in my eyes. My legs would feel weak like they were going to give out. I've even had relatives come over from North Carolina to stay with me for a couple of days and they would start feeling sick. Every month since February, I have been in the ER plagued with these symptoms!!

I have hired 3 companies to look at my HVAC system and the final company was the ONLY company that thought to check my refrigerant levels.  On 5/22 leaks were found in both units, with the attic unit being the worse.

I strongly believe both of my units were sabotaged by the W.L. Staten tech. The smoke from my vents was refrigerant that was intentionally leaked. And I have been breathing in those gases, which explains my health issues!

What is the probability of both units having a refrigerant leak at the very same time? It is no secret that the technicians at W.L. Staten work on commission which means they've got to sell something to make money!! Consumer BEWARE!

We called DB's out to look at some very poorly done plumbing work in a house that we had just purchased. Michael came out and was very thorough in his initial evaluation. He explained everything that was wrong and how he would go about fixing it. He was very respectful. On the day he came to do the repairs he arrived early in the morning and stayed clear through until midnight making sure that all repairs were done correctly, documented correctly, and working correctly. Hands down one of the best services I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a plumber.

Donzelle was awesome.  We had an emergency plumbing situation (backup flowing up through my tenant's shower drain...pretty gross), and Donzelle was the first person to respond to my requests.  His communication was excellent throughout, his prices were fair, and he responded immediately.  He was also able to work with the tenant to find a time that worked best for everybody for follow-up work.  He didn't try to upsell or pressure us based on the situation and his quality of work was fantastic.  Sent pictures and updates throughout, cleaned up, and my tenant also reported that he was very satisfied.  Super professional, 5 stars.

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done.  They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.

Had not used gas fireplace in over 2 yrs (shut off completely) Went to ignite it, would not lite.  I had read other positive reviews, so gave Drain Works a try and glad we did.   From start to finish everything was very professionally handled. Prompt reply to email to set up service for the very next day. Their office hours state till 4 pm, but I don't get home till 4, but they accommodated me and Sandy was here at 4pm.  Wore a mask and slippers.  Found the issue, explained it to me and fixed it.    Was a pleasure doing business with this company.

This a business that I would highly recommend.  I have used this business for several of my plumbing needs.  The response time was remarkable.  When they showed up, they were prompt, knowledge and gave real time estimates for the completion of the work.  Having contractors show up with a positive attitude and a willingness to complete a job with leaving no question unanswered is very important to me.  I have always been satisfied with the work completed.  Finding a reliable company to complete jobs can be difficult but when you find one, you treat it as gold, and DJ's pluming is that company that a value :o)  You won't be disappointed.

I simply do not have enough good things to say about Bill Taylor and his team.  I called with a very major plumbing issue--a water main break (on my property, not the county's).  Bill came out the same day and estimated the job.  He was extremely knowledgeable.  The other two plumbers (one of whom was previously my go to) had not even called me back yet in the time that I already had his estimate in hand.  The job was complicated by a tree right over the break spot.  When Miss Utility came out to mark the lines and it turned out the electric cable was within inches of the water line, things went from bad to worse.  But Bill thought through all the possibilities, and came up with a solution that would keep the fix within the originally planned estimate.  The work was complete in record time, and I now no longer have a flood in my yard.  Just weeks later, I had to call him for a sump pump failure at a rental property.  He showed up within a couple hours of my call--I think it was past 10pm that night--and immediately fixed the issue.  I had to call him again just a week after that for a washing machine issue in that same rental property--it turned out it was not a plumbing issue, so he could not fix it, but again, he was there within hours of my call--late on a Friday night.  Every conversation and interaction with Bill was highly professional and he took the time to explain the details.  That and his prices are more than fair.  I can't imagine ever calling another plumbing service after these experiences.

We had a gas leak that had to be turned off by Wash. Gas. Thomas Clark was immediately responsive after 6pm that day - although they couldn't get someone out that evening, they sent a technician by 3pm the next day. Their work was quick with no issues and reasonably priced. They were also willing to come back for free if the leak persisted.

i Have used them on a few occasion , lets face it Baltimore row homes built in the 50s tend to have some issues!! Melisa is very friendly and helpful.. She really takes the time to explain everything to you ..I have never been unhappy with their service.. and they are very reasonable priced.. I highly suggest them.. fast, honest and dependable!!!!!!

Had Eghardrt brother out to my house to fix a clogged tub. Vince unclogged the clogged pipes. Reassembled the trap which I had taken apart and stuck around to test and make sure the pope was unclogged. Very friendly, cleaned up any mess and completed the work within an hour. I will be calling them next time we have an issue.

The Clover HVAC guys are competent and punctual.
