I replaced the bathtub overflow drain. They came to my place on time (the other company I called before missed appointments three times). The technicians were very honest and straightforward. The price was also fair. No hassles. No hidden fees. I was pretty satisfied with their service at this time.
Highly recommend if you're in the Columbia area and in need of a plumber! I've used their services three times now. Not only are they professional and fairly priced, but they always let me know what the issue is and how to fix it myself for future reference so that I can save money next time.

Our fourth time working with this company and they're still batting a thousand. This time we called them out to investigate a possible leak (given an unusually high water bill). Vince inspected all the possible culprits and confirmed that a ghost-flushing, intermittently running toilet was the problem. He replaced all the tank hardware in that toilet and in another toilet he identified as due for hardware replacement. He then coached us as to how to identify a running toilet that wasn't as obvious as some other types of running toilets. We always learn something new when these guys come out! Per usual--arrived when expected, worked quickly and efficiently, left the place clean; fair charges for parts and labor. Thank you!

We had a bad clogged toilet and Ehrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing was able to come out the same day to unclog it for me. Rob the technician was friendly and excellent. They were quick and addressed the issue promptly. I would highly recommend and will be using them again. Plus as a first-time customer I got 10% off my bill. Thanks Rob and Ehrhardt Brothers!
I would personally recommend another company. I scheduled them for an 8AM appointment and the workers were 30 minutes late without providing any notification. They were able to successfully resolve the issues using a specific tool for the job. However, after the job was completed in .40 hours (40 min) they attempted to bill me for 1.25 hours + the service for the specific tool called the snake. After bringing it up to the support team of this .45 hour (45 min.) discrepancy billed at $180.00 an hour, the logic was we tend to start billing on arrival even though the workers were already late and stayed in the vehicle for 10 minutes before coming to the front door and 10 minutes writing up the job invoice.
I have no problem with paying for services rendered. I didn't see the reason for arguing about ill-advised business practices. However, as a customer and Business Owner, I believe falsifying working hours is not a respectable practice and for this reason, I would encourage anyone to use another company.
We have security cameras and we have no reason to fabricate information. Please see the redacted invoice below.

When I called they stated that they charged $180 per hr plus parts and my kind of job (hook up dishwasher, garbage disposal and faucet to sink) takes roughly 2-3 hours. The plumber showed up looked and said oh this should be simple. Less than 2 hours later everything is hooked up working beautifully and it only cost $343.00. I didn't give 5 stars only because they didn't call before they came as stated and they came early which was inconvenient because I was in a meeting. But Rob the plumber definitely gets 5 stars. Because of this we will be calling soon for some additional work.

Every time I call I get a sour woman on the phone saying they do no off hours work. And a simple question about water heater replacement is me with WE ONLY RESPOND TO EMAILS response. HUH?? This is unacceptable customer service.
I decided to install a new under sink water filter. Only, I ended up not being able to get the old one out, and split the line in the process. This meant our kitchen sink no longer had cold water.
I called Ehrhardt Bros and told them I bought one of those easy to install water filters. Laughing ensured. It made be feel a bit better to know I'm not alone in my home improvement ineptness. He told me he would check the tickets that came in, and triage my request, since not having a functional kitchen sink isn't fun.
It turns out they were available at noon and in the area. (sorry Wayne if I cost you your lunch break). He was gone before 1 and had the new filter installed, and while he was here he also bent a cut off valve that was getting caught on the garbage disposal, loosened another stuck valve and have me pointers on maintaining my hot water heater. Really nice guy!

Wayne and Matt were kind, answered questions, explained what they needed to do to solve the problem. They worked well and efficiently. This is my plumbing company for life. Even the lady who answered the phone was very nice. I am so happy to have found a plumbing company that I can depend on.
I have all my in laws in for the weekend. That means guest room toilets that don't get used a lot. Get used a lot. We quickly discovered the wax seal was shot and had waste water leaking on to our tile floor. It's Friday at 1 so i try calling. Rachel answered and was quick to help find a solution and a tech. They were at my house within the hour and fixed it quickly and professionally. I can not thank them enough and recommend them to all in need!!!
I received five quotes for a simple kitchen faucet installation and received flat pricing from several vendors from anywhere between $295-$350 and we'll need to charge for an estimate and then give you a price type estimates. Ehrhardt sent their hourly rate and that's what I paid, for an hour of plumbing service, in this case. This is the second time I've used Erhardt and I don't think I would use anyone else in the future. Rachel in the office is always friendly and understands what customer service is and Vince was friendly and did the job quickly and efficiently. I understand that everyone needs to make a living, and I, like everyonework hard for my money and I really appreciate the honesty and transparency of this vendor.
Second time using Ehrhardt and I am a happy customer. Wayne is great, he has previously installed a faucet for us and today he came and installed a new PRV.

My water heater died and I had gotten 2 previous estimates before calling Ehrhardt Brothers. Katherine was my first contact and she was friendly, professional and empathetic that I had not had hot water in several days. They were able to work up an estimate after I sent a couple of pictures. Tracy who called with estimate was also very nice and explained everything and was able to answer all my questions. I immediately accepted their estimate which was in line with another estimate I had gotten. I lucked out because of a cancellation that afternoon. Vince showed up in less than an hour and did a wonderful job installing my new water heater. He was personable, polite, professional and efficient. He also answered any questions I had about the new water heater and gave me some good advice.
I went with this company because they are a local family owned business which I like to support vs these large national companies. The great reviews also influenced me heavily. Most of all, after my initial call, I was so impressed with the friendliness and great customer service I received by everyone I spoke to within the company. This is a company that really cares about its customers which is rare. Will be using them for all my future plumbing needs. They made this a good experience for me in a bad situation. Had a pipe spring a leak and called these guys because they were local. They managed to send someone out in 2 hours! Great company! Won't look anywhere else for my plumbing needs.
I have learned that in my Howard County area one must be careful about selecting contractors to perform work at your home. In this case I had a plumber who had already charged me $700 to clear a clogged sewer drain which he thought had been cleared. I discovered after paying him that it was not cleared. He returned to snake another location and then gave up and told me I would need to pay him another $2800 to abandon my existing pipes and lay down new ones. That's when I called this company. They were able to clear the clog in one hour and 15 minutes for $277. And I did share all of the information the previous plumber had told me so if they were not honest they could have charged me more without me knowing any better. They cleaned the work area perfectly afterwards and gave me some cards with my receipt that I will gladly pass out to friends. I'm so happy to have a new, honest plumber.
Needed some help for a kitchen drain. Not only did they provide same day service, but the plumber made some recommendations to avoid future problems and save $$$ and headaches. Very COVID prepared, efficient and workmanlike. I've made the switch from my regular plumber to this team - great job!

Mike has really taken the time and effort to understand my project and help me identify issues that could cost more money down the road. I've dealt with lot of plumbers and when you find a good one it's less stress and worth every penny
I was very pleased with the service. Vince was the service tech. They were able to schedule an appointment within 5 days ( it was not an emergency). Vince confirmed that I needed a new sump pump and had brought one with him so no extra charge for a second visit. The best part NO UPSELLING. He actually recommended their less expensive model as I did not need any of the extra features. That alone was enough for me to use them again .
I've used Ehrhardt on two separate occasions so far, and they have exceeded my expectations both times. No service charges and they provide straightforward pricing without any hidden fees. They are very responsive and even worked with me to provide next day service for one of the fixes. They performed a garbage disposal replacement and an outdoor spigot replacement for me. I found a new long term plumber for sure. Thanks again for the friendly and prompt service.

First time using Ehrhardt. Great experience. Wayne was awesome. I had a mysterious leak coming from upstairs down onto the kitchen ceiling. Wayne took care diagnosing the issue (faulty toilet seal) and quickly made the necessary repairs. Price was very reasonable and less than I was expecting. They will be my first call for any future plumbing issues.

This is definitely a quality plumbing company. I called because my ceiling was leaking. The sent a rep within 24 hours and he was able to determine within 5 mins the source of the leak. Meanwhile another plumber had come in and diagnosed the wrong source. The rep was professional and quick. Pricing was also very decent. I definitely recommend this company.

Found the sink in the basement next to the washing machine backing up. Turned out to be a blocked main drain. Ehrhardt was able to come out the next day. They were very up front, direct, and dealt with things quickly.
If I need any plumbing issues taken care of in the future, I will definitely reach out to Ehrhardt again.
I used this company to replace my water heater in my condo. Vince arrived and did an awesome job with the installation and everything else and even corrected a heating system issue. I would highly recommend this company and use them for any kind of plumbing project or problem. A very professional, friendly and knowledgeable company.

We had a plumber come out on Friday to fix a hammer pipe. The tech said a part needed to be replaced. The part was replaced and a few hours later the pipe started making the same sound that is was making prior to the service. My wife called back to request the technician come back out to fix the same issue. Instead of standing by their original work they double charged us after giving us a minor discount. Lets hope we don't have to give them a call back.

Vince is the man! He came out, did his research, and answered every single annoying question I had. He instructed me as to the parts I would need and even found me the links to order them. He was also able to point out solutions to other plumbing issues I was having and provided some guidance. Overall, I was more than satisfied and will definitely use this company in the future.
Called them in the morning, explained my toilet was leaking at the base. They were able schedule me for 2 days later, but would call me if any openings came. Got a call 3 hours later that they were in the area and would be over to fix the problem. They replaced the cracked seal and were very efficient, let us know the reason it cracked. Price was very reasonable too.

The quality of work and professionalism of Ehrhardt brothers is top notch. They were extremely professional, courteous, and mindful about covid precautions, wearing masks and booties as they entered the house. They worked quickly and did amazing work. Plus, they are dog lovers, which is a huge plus in my book. I would highly recommend and will use them in the future for all my plumbing needs.
I am so impressed with this company that I just had to share. I emailed the company via Yelp about having a pressure reducing valve inspected and replaced. I got an email soon after to include their pricing and everything was thoroughly explained.
I then proceeded to call to schedule an appointment. Again, easy peasy. Due to me having a cold I decided to reschedule my original appointment which they were super accommodating. My appointment was confirmed on Friday for Monday between 8-10 am, but was told that the plumber (Rob) would arrive between 8-8:30am.
I'm in my car Monday at 7:59am about to drop my son off at daycare and I see the plumber's truck pulling in. I had to tell him I'd be back in 10-15 mins as I didn't think he'd get there on time! He totally understood and I was super impressed!!
So I get back and he's extremely professional, friendly, respectful of my home, worked clean, patient (with answering all of my questions) and quick! He checked my pressure reducing valve before replacing it, which I appreciated as I was taking a precautionary measure with potentially having it replaced. Which I'm glad I did, since it wasn't working properly and he recommended I replace it. He wasn't sure that he could replace it as it's located behind my water heater and explained that he may need to come out another time to remove the hot water heater to replace the valve and would need more time to complete the job. Rob is so freaking AMAZING because he wanted to at least try before having to reschedule. And he succeeded! He was able to replace the valve, which saved me on additional labor costs and time with not scheduling another appointment. Rob and this company are very honest, transparent and don't cut corners. He was in and out before 9am!!
Additionally the labor and parts are backed by a one year warranty. I will absolutely use this company again and refer them to others.

I recently had my washer overflow onto floor and knew it was from a clog in our drainage system. I called Ehrhardt, as they had given great service on my kitchen disposal/dishwasher drain earlier in the year. They were able to come the next morning and remove a very large (possibly 20 something year old) clog. The plumber made sure that it was clear and tested to see if washer was working and drain was clear.
I was very pleased with the service as I was before. The employees in the office and the plumbers are polite, courteous, and diligent in their work.
I will call them again when needed and definitely recommend them to others.
Excellent customer service! I called on Friday morning expecting to be put on the schedule for next week. They tried to get me in that afternoon and when they were unable to, the owner came to my house Saturday morning to do the job. Upfront with pricing and gave us good advice for upkeep. I discovered this company through Yelp and hired them on the basis of all the positive Yelp reviews. I'm glad I did. They did not disappoint: Quick scheduling, friendly and efficient service, clear explanations, and very cost-efficient.
Hopefully, I won't need a plumber again anytime soon, but if I do, Ehrhardt Bros. will be my go-to choice.
They did a good job with replacing my spigot but overcharged me for the time and materials.

Just on the basis of the knowledge and attention I received from Tracy on the phone, I would highly recommend them. It isn't everyone that will try to help you figure out what your issue is before making a sale or a service call.

I selected Ehrhardt Brothers based on the great reviews and I was extremely pleased with their service. Rachel, who handles scheduling and answers the phone was great to deal with, very pleasant, and kept me informed often on the plumber's status and arrival time. Vince, our plumber, was very knowledgeable, efficient, and did a great job for us. They are a small company, focused on customer service and satisfaction and I highly recommend them.

Needed a plumber (not an emergency) to replace the water valve under the kitchen sink in order to install a new dishwasher. Rob came over exactly on time for our appointment. He was friendly and efficient. Replacement valve was done in less than an hour, plus he left us two different connector valves so the dishwasher installer would have the one he needed.
We've used Ehrhardt Plumbing once before with excellent results, so we knew that this minor job would be done right. We highly recommend them if you need a plumber in the Clarksville, Columbia, Ellicott City or Fulton areas.
We contacted them early this morning for a clogged toilet and they were here in under an hour. Their service person was fantastic, price was reasonable and we will definitely use them again!!

Excellent service, communication, scheduling, and assistance with a warranty replacement of a water heater that they didn't install in the first place. They were far lower in cost than the original installer quoted for labor! The two people who came out were professional, lined the wood floors with drop cloths, pulled out the old water heater, installed the new one, AND replaced the catch pan under the existing with a metal pan so it wouldn't crack like the plastic one originally installed. State Street water heaters warrantied the water heater, and Ehrhardt did all the coordination to get the new water heater picked up, the old one photographed as needed. And, they cleaned up, no mess left.

I reached out to this team via Yelp one evening last week after reading all the stellar reviews. I needed to figure out a bathroom issue which was damaging the ceiling on the second floor. And I needed help fast!
By 7:30AM the next morning I received a response. And it wasn't just a Hello, it was a wonderfully welcoming, thorough and informative response. The team asked me questions, gave me advice, offered a quote and eased my mind -- all through Yelp. Within a day, someone was over fixing everything up at a reasonable price.
I cannot rave about them enough. They truly know how to provide outstanding customer service, and they're clearly a business that knows how to be successful in 2019...by meeting the customer where they are.
Other plumbing groups weren't willing to chat with me or offer a quote. Ehrhardt Bros. Quality...y'all are great. Keep it up.
Vince came to our house today. We had a leak in our master shower that was dripping into the garage, needed our tankless hot water heater cleaned, and needed an estimate on what we thought was a crack in a valve on the main water line coming into the house. A prior plumber had quoted $5,000 to replace the cracked line, and $600 to fix the leak. Vince takes one look at the crack, tells me it is just a bib that holds the pipe, and that they all have the crack. He did all the work, plus replaced a wax seal on a toilet, for way less than the first plumber quoted just to fix the leak. It is so refreshing to find an honest person. I would highly recommend. Told all my neighbors about Vince.

I had an issue with my drains being clogged and everything from my kitchen sink was coming out into my master bedroom shower and hallway bathroom tub. Rob my technician came out and assessed the issue and immediately got to work. He did a great job and within less than an hour had my drained unclogged and I was back in action. Rob also cleaned up everything after he was done. Thabk Ehrhardt for your exceptional service and coming out the same day I called.

I will edit my last review to include that although I think more care and respect could have been shown to my house last time, they did complete the job in a satisfactory way. I've used this company many times and have always found them to be reasonable and fair. This was no exception. The guys were pleasant and polite and did their job well. It wasn't the easiest of jobs and I appreciate their work.
In the future I just hope I can count on them to use professional measures to protect my carpet from the dirt and grime associated with plumbing jobs. Booties should be worn when walking on carpeted steps and through the home. Even without the sewage issue, it was rainy outside and we don't walk in our own home with wet, dirty shoes. This was the first time I've experienced anything negative with this company.

Just overall a pleasant experience - and we all know plumbing is not really fun...
They gave us a reasonable qoute over the phone, came as scheduled, called ahead of time, billed just under the qoute and even fixed a little something else for free.
What else can you ask for?
Called Ehrhardt Brothers to fix a leaking bathtub drain. They were busy but were still able to fit us in on short notice. Everyone I spoke with on the phone and in person was extremely knowledgeable and polite. Very reasonably priced, highly recommend!

Great job. Showed up on time. Professional and courteous technition. Quality workmanship replacing the hose bib at my house. Cost was reasonable. I recommend them.
Nothing but good things to say about our experience. Rob was quick and thorough installing a new faucet, and identified and fixed an additional source of leak while he was here. We forgot initially to ask him about a bathroom sink issue, but before he left he promptly addressed that as well.
Just used them after finding them on Yelp and reading all the great reviews.
They scheduled next morning and Vince found the leaking problem and fixed it within an hour. Friendly, polite and knowledgable. Will recommend to everyone and use them again.

These guys rock! Vince arrived as promised, replaced one of the 2 outdoor hose bibs and repaired the other. Plus, he switched out the hose lines under the kitchen sink, all at a very reasonable price. I appreciate it that rather than trying to up sell me on replacing both of the bibs, he was able to fix one and replace the other, saving me some cash. Ehrhardt Brothers are an excellent quality plumbing company that I would recommend to everyone.
Within 20 min the repair tech had diagnosed the source of a water pressure problem that had stumped another plumbing company. He was also really good about explaining things.
I have used these guys a few times, most recently today. Their service is outstanding and the prices are more than fair. Keith was our guy today and he was awesome. Did everything he could to save us some money and explained the issue along the way. I highly recommend!

I've hired Ehrhardt Brothers twice in the past year, once to replace a gate valve under my kitchen sink with a ball valve and once to secure my 2nd- and 3rd-level toilets, which were rocking slightly. Their work has been impeccable so far. When I had questions, the plumber took time to answer them thoroughly.

Had Eghardrt brother out to my house to fix a clogged tub. Vince unclogged the clogged pipes. Reassembled the trap which I had taken apart and stuck around to test and make sure the pope was unclogged. Very friendly, cleaned up any mess and completed the work within an hour. I will be calling them next time we have an issue.

I called several plumbing companies for same day service for a leak in the basement but most could not accommodate a same day request without charging an emergency hourly fee. Ehrhardt Brothers came out the same day, within a few hours of being called. Everyone was very professional from start to finish with Tracey handling the call for service and Vince who came out and fixed the leak and did another plumbing job requested while here. Vince answered a lot of plumbing questions I had about future work needing to be done and was very helpful. I felt the price was very fair and I would definitely use their services again!
Wow, Mike the owner was serious. He said his company was conscientious. He said they wouldn't overcharge or hang around eating yo the hour with practice loitering in your home. He said we have the best prices and are super knowledgeable about plumbing and people. Well, a plumber named Rob just came to my house. And, even though Mike the owner promised me these things months ago. Rob came over quickly, worked quickly, and did a great job!
I had been trying to connect my new grill to the gas source in my house but I kept getting leaks. After a few days of trying, I decided to call for professional help. I really should've done it sooner.
I called Ehrhardt's early in the morning around 7:30 AM to see if I could schedule an appoint within the next day or so. The gentleman on the phone informed me that they had a few cancellations that morning and someone could be at my house in the next 15 minutes!
Sure enough, Brian showed up at my door right on time. He was courteous, professional and got the job done right in less than half an hour. He made sure everything was working correctly and even did a gas leak test to make sure there were no loose connections. Everything was done and I was ready to start my day by 8:45ish.
This was a very pleasant experience overall and I'll be using them for all my plumbing needs in the future. Highly recommended.

I thought our problems would be complicated and expensive to fix (old house), but Keith spotted the problems quickly, fixed them quickly. One fix he had to be creative with, because parts aren't available for our old tub faucet. It works again now! He covered his shoes each time he entered, explained everything thoroughly to me, and even got along with my annoying dog. Whom I love very much. I will use Ehrhardt again if ever needing a plumber!

I called this company because of all of the great reviews. The woman who answered did not even TRY to hide her annoyance at doing her job. When I told her that we believed there was a clog/blockage in our water tank or pipes because water was not coming through, she audibly tsked, hemmed and hawwed. She asked clarifying questions So like, what, is it not coming through the faucet? or toilet? or what? When I told her we were getting no water, she made more annoyed noises. She asked if it was well water. Honestly, I don't know what it would be considered - our neighborhood has its own reservoir. I told her that yes, it's probably well water and explained the reservoir and she went UGH! At that point, I thanked her, said nevermind, and hung up.
I didn't go any farther. Someone who is comfortable having someone SO rude represent them is NOT who I want to do business with. It was completely unprofessional and I'm shocked that this place has so many great reviews when SHE is the first impression.
Vince was awesome. He was very professional and pleasant. He arrived on time and was able to quickly identify our issue. We highly recommend Ehrhardt!

I called Ehrhardt Brothers based on a friends referral. Right from the first phone call, the person I talked to understood what I needed and was knowledgeable enough to answer my plumbing questions.
I hired them to install a hot water heater and to see if the restricted hot water pressure in the kitchen faucet could be restored to normal.
Keith did an excellent install of the heater. And, much to my amazement,
discovered the problem with the faucet and quickly restored the pressure.
His experience and expertise were evident. I will call them for my future
plumbing needs and highly recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommended.
Because my call was not an emergency, I was prepared to wait awhile for an appointment but they had availability as early the next day. They quoted me a fair price and didn't try to change it later. Everyone was knowledgeable and polite, and the service man (Nick) showed up on time and did a great job. While having my toilet break was not fun, they made getting it fixed a very positive experience. I will definitely use them again if needed, and will recommend them to all my friends.
Thanks to yelp I came across this company for a clogged toilet! They came out at the time they said they would, got the job done fast and even charged me less then what was originally quoted! Thank you Ehrhardt Brothers you have a customer for life
Today is the second time that Keith has come to my home to fix a plumbing problem. Today he installed a gas fireplace that another plumber could not. Keith is pleasant, courteous, intelligent and clearly succeeded where others have failed. (Also, he wears footies ver his shoes and the company trucks are spotless. Keith was very concerned about keeping his workspace and my home clean.) I'm sold on Earhardt!

I had a ceiling leak that re-occurred. Ehrhardt plumbers was the first place I called based on previous experiences with them. I'm still pleased with their work. Nick came out a couple of times to fix up the leaks (turns out there were two of them). He did a fine job and was patient and willing to explain the steps he was taking to fix the problem. Don't hesitate to use them.
Great experience -called them after Len misdiagnosed a leak and estimated $1,500 in repairs to our sprinkler system. Turns out it was the line for the master bathroom. Rob appeared within the appointment time, quickly diagnosed the issue and explained clearly what he needed to do for repair. Had to cut through the drywall to get to the portion of the pipe that was leaking and he did his cuts in small increments in order to minimize the size of the hole in the wall. Everything was completed in a little over an hour -no mess, no fuss. Would call again.

Called this morning at 7:15am fully expecting to leave a voicemail but someone answered!! 5 minutes later I was scheduled for 12:00pm to have my kitchen sink drain unclogged. Nick arrived at 12:10 and was finished approx. 45 minutes later.
Say no more. We're always looking for the reasonably priced, honest, tradesman. This is one of them.
Significant issues at the folks place a few days back regarding drainage in their kitchen sink AND from their laundry machine pipe. Ehrhardt Brothers sent someone out that day, and got the problem fixed in a jiffy. My folks were very happy with the explanations provided, and the person's professional manner. Cost was very reasonable. The person was very knowledgeable!

I was nervous about paying per hour (v. per job) but quickly realized SKILLS MATTER.
Keith is a seasoned plumber and knows the nuances of each job. He was able to assess the four unrelated plumbing concerns and approach them in a very systematic manner.
His troubleshooting steps were relayed to me in a meaningful way. I'm sure some customers just want the need to know info (like it's fixed), but Keith intuitively knew that I wanted the nice to know info (like what I did wrong, or woulda/coulda/shoulda done to avoid the situation). This was important to me so I can forward apply the learning and do it better for myself next time!
He used his time judiciously, and the price charged for parts was very competitive with retail.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends/family, and I will use them again in the future. I do not mind paying a professional when things need to be done right, in a timely manner. Just because you can, does not always mean you should!
Credibility and trust has been forged, and that is a meaningful thing.

Sunday night my husband tried fixing the kitchen sink because it was clogged but couldn't. The next morning around 7:30 I called and someone was at my house by 9. Keith came and snaked the clogged drain and installed a new disposal we had, all in an hour. This company is honest and very reasonable and they know what they're doing. I definitely will be using them in the future. Thanks guys!

What? No reviews for the Ehrhardt Brothers?!
Well then, allow me to be the first. These guys are the real deal. I called at 9:20 for a leak in my basement. 9:55 Brian (I think that was his name, sorry im terrible with names) was at my doorstep. At 10:35 the job was done.
It wasn't overly complex and it was an easy access job, but still getting a plumber to help you out in less than 1 hr notice is something to be praised.
I will definitely use them in any future plumbing needs.
Ehrhardt Plumbing is outstanding! I would trust them with a job of any size or difficulty - from routine maintenance - to a major, complex plumbing problem.
**Keith was dispatched, and he was perfect. He was very professional, very innovative on solving tough problems - with a minimum of impact to me and to my house.
I had a number of routine repairs - which I had been attempting - and which needed a real plumber - who would get it right the first time.
I have had less satisfactory experiences with other plumbers.
**Ehrhardt Plumbing and Keith were the Best of the Best. They reinstalled my faith in top notch, trustworthy, professional plumbers - who are up to any challenge.

I guess I'm the only one who has had a bad experience, but working with the Erhardt office management was so frustrating. It's possible for other types of visits they are great, but when you're selling a home and need someone to help with items from a home inspection this is NOT the company to call. In somewhat of a short summary, the office manager was extremely friendly and helpful on the first call, but each subsequent call after they almost became aggressive in their approach and tone towards me. I was originally told they could come out on a single day to help tighten some toilets (which cost $150) and they were dual-licensed in CSST to help with some grounding at our furnace ($300). However, they said they'd have to come back the second day and charge another service visit fee because they didn't have the grounding wire although they said they could fix it in the same visit. The alternative they said fairly rudely was, well, you can always just call an electrician - so what do you want to do?...we didn't' have another couple of days to schedule someone so we just moved forward with them. After the fix, I asked for the receipt via email since we were living out of town to share with the buying agent. They did not send it. So I called back after the weekend first thing in the morning and they said they happen to be working on it and would send it right then, I waited an hour, called back and they said they were sending it then, waited an hour and nothing, called 1 hour later and they said they had sent it but would double check. Had not received it, called 1 hour later and after 4 hours grudgingly they sent me the receipt... this is the short version and removes all of the negative comments and tone from the office manager :(
Rob did a great job and fixed all of our issues incredibly quickly! A wonderful visit, accomplished well, and much appreciated.
Prompt and professional. Replaced thermostat on a hot water heater. Was fearing the worst but technician new it was something quick and simple and was done in a short time. Would recommend.

I have had such a good experience with this company. They have me an appointment immediately, showed up ahead of schedule and I felt they were fair. The plumber tried to fix the problem first instead of trying to sell me a new system which I really appreciated. I will use them again! Thanks for great service.
Bottom line -- I called with what I thought was an emergency water heater replacement and they did everything they could to get someone to our home within hours. Well, it ended up not being the water heater. Our guy was honest, wore booties to protect our light carpet and solved the problem. When we do need a new water heater, we will be calling Ehrhardt Brothers again.

They always answer or call back immediately. Prices are reasonable for labor and they work fast.
Had some work done on a leaky overflow drain in the tub. The plumber was early, quick, and professional.
Rob was fast and efficient, as well as on time. Leaky faucet was quickly and professionally fixed. I would absolutely use them again!
The plumber that came was super helpful, knowledgeable and honest. I am so glad I called them and got a second opinion. He charged me $128 for a minor issue that another plumber wanted to charge over $500 for.

On thanksgiving weekend we ran into sewer trouble. On Monday morning I called Ehrhardt's thinking there was no way I could get service after a holiday weekend. I spoke with a lovey woman in the office who managed to find a way to fit us in. Rob arrived that same morning and quickly diagnosed and resolved our problem. He was extremely polite and efficient. We had a previous terrible experience with another plumber in Howard County so it was so refreshing to have an honest company that didn't rip you off. I have nothing but the HIGHEST praise for Ehrhardt Brothers. They are now my go to plumber for any plumbing needs that may come up in the future. They are honest and priced fair.
In the days when you can wait weeks getting a home repair, this company is almost surreal. I called early, someone answered quickly, called me back in less time than promised and had someone out in 20 minutes of my call. The work was quick, professional and price was reasonable.
I will recommend them to all my family and friends in the area.
I had a small water leak under the kitchen sink, so this was a small job. I found them on yelp and since they were located in Columbia, I decided to try them out. I made the phone call on Monday and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. Nick was very polite and professional. He figured out what the problem was fast and also pointed out a previous design flaw by the original installer. He made every thing into a much more efficient and simple design. You will look at $150 an hour plus parts for their service. 10% discount for 1st time customers. All in all excellent service, I will use them again for any of my plumbing needs!
Ehrhardt Brothers have made 2 visits to my home and each time they've completed the job to 100% satisfaction (and they even cover their shoes!). I've called different plumbing companies to my house in the past and more often than not they claim they can't begin to diagnose an issue without tearing a wall apart and they won't even try to ballpark a price. And the quotes I DID receive were crazy high, leaving me with a bit of PTSD with regard to plumbers. Now that I know I can trust Ehrhardt I don't really worry anymore about routine plumbing issues. I had a great experience with Ehrhardt! From the moment I called to make an appointment they were honest and efficient. They did a great job fixing the garbage disposal in my rental unit and even took the time to show my tenant how to fix a clog. We had to reschedule a couple times due to weather but they were apologetic, flexible, and prompt. Great company! I will use them again.

Excellent work. I called on Wednesday for a clogged drain and Keith was out the next morning. He was on time and both professional and courteous. He came in and I explained the issue- it was not a clog in the trap but way down the line. He went back to his truck and got all the materials he needed for the job in one trip. He put down a drop cloth and went to work. It took most of an hour with the machine going the whole time and the sink drains like new. He cleaned up so when he was gone you would not have know he was there, except for the drain working. The best I could have hoped for. I would recommend Keith to anyone.

They are way expensive and could not solve my problem. Had leaky toilet from the base. The technician in my opinion was not knowledgeable enough to handle. For two weeks the problem seemed to be gone but came back the bathroom smelling urine and leaks from the base of the screw. I think the technician missed checking on the flange and seal to address my problem. I will be calling them to report this and see how they handle should any further probing needs to be done.
The best plumber experience ever! They charge less than competitors and they are very professional. They came on time and in the same day I called. Rob was our plumber and was very sweet and even gave us a tip for how to resolve the issue on our own if it happens again. Highly recommended!
I decided after looking at these glowing reviews to call Ehrhardt and see if they could help me with my gas fireplace. Well, the nice person who answered the phone (no voice mail here!) kindly directed me in another direction that would be more helpful to my situation! How often do you get that kind of advice and concern over the phone?? I'm totally impressed by not only their professionalism in dealing with this matter, but by the fact that I spoke to a lovely representative of this company who gave me terrific information! I had a very good experience today with Ehrhardt. I had all my faucets replaced. I called Tuesday, and they performed the work Thursday. They could have come earlier, but we weren't available. Their estimate was less than half of my quote from a competitor. I needed a few parts which were reasonably priced. The work was done on time and as expected. These are my new go-to guys.
Rob came out the day after I called and installed a new garbage disposal. Arrived when he said he would, did a good job, everything left clean and tidy, done in no time. I will call them again when I need work done.

Being fairly new to Columbia, I did a TON of research online to try to find a reliable plumber. We bought an older home and have dealt with a number of issues in our first 2 years here, and since we didn't know any service providers up to now we went with larger companies with name recognition. Feeling unsatisfied, this time we decided to go with a LOCAL company that had good on-line reviews - and boy am I glad we did. We have found our go-to plumber! Keith came out a day ahead of schedule, quickly diagnosed our issues, and did a first rate repair job (furnace went toes-up on New Years Day, then 3 hours after the new one was installed our water supply lines in the laundry room burst). He was personable, professional, and expeditious. Dealt with my chit-chat and kept working the entire time, finishing in less time than estimated and for less money than I'd figured on. Can't say enough great things about Ehrhardt Brothers Plumbing. You guys ROCK!!!!!! :)
Nick was the most professional and nicest plumber! He arrived on time and did a fantastic job. ( 2 other plumbers had failed , took my money and never came back.) This is an honest, trustworthy company. I will continue to use them and recommend them to others.

We had a plumbing job that was quoted high from another plumber, then found Ehrhardt Brothers for a 2nd opinion and their pricing ended up about 1/3 the cost! Nick was straight forward, got the job done quickly, and was very pleasant to deal with. So nice that we have found a new plumber!

They were great the first time they came. They were prompt, clean and inexpensive. The next TWO times I scheduled appointments for work to be done, however, I was stood up with no notice. I'm moving on down the list of plumbers in the area. Life's too short to be left hanging!
My pipes froze and burst in a rental property of mine. As you can imagine I wasn't the only person in town with a bursted pipe. My main concern was that my tenant didn't have hot water. I called Ehrhardt Plumbing at 8am and had to leave a message. Within 30 minutes someone called me back and explained that the phones were ringing off the hook and they are super busy but they will be able to come out sometime after 12. (Every other plumber I called in that 30 minutes was booked and couldn't come out until the next day) He also said someone would call me to let me know when they were an hour away. They called a little over an hour before they came over and by 3:10 I had hot water. They were very accommodating to let me take pictures for insurance and they only charged me $175. Which was the cost for 1 hour and 1 helper because two people were required for the job. They are great and I will definitely be using them again when I need a plumber!!!!
