He showed up for the appointments exactly when he said he would, provided estimates and completed the chimney cover job diligently without any cost overruns.
He took the time to do some extra precautionary work with the old wooden frame removal that showed damage.
I would absolutely call him first if there is a need for any other work in future.

Charlie, the electrician that  showed up to my house and was very polite, he wore booties over his shoes which I think is a sign of a pro. I was disappointed by a couple of aspects of the service. First, he was quoted  a flat $300 to troubleshoot a light switch. I asked how long it would take and he said from anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours.

Under those condition, a flat rate seems excessive. Who would pay $300 for 10 minutes of work?  

My feeling, having worked with many contractors, is that Point Loma Electric is a place that is trying to create a scalable business model with flat-rate pricing and leaving less authority to their electricians to do their job. I get that. But I personally would rather have a guy who would say well based on my experience, the cause is likely this, we could test that cause and will take me an hour at the most. If it looks like we are going to go over I will let you know and you can tell me what you want done. Of course, then you have a business model that depends too much on the judgment of the electrician.

So, I in summary, I thought Charlie was great, but I thought Point Loma's  pricing model would not work for me.

Bill and Carlos have quickly come and fixed several problems, from water leaks under the house to a water heater whose pilot light wouldn't start. They also installed a new kitchen sink. Good neighborhood guys.

As my wife was cooking Thanksgiving dinner, our kitchen sink plugged up placing the entire dinner in jeopardy. We had a flood of dirty water sitting there in the sink preventing her from her preparations. I quickly called several plumbers in the area and no one had any help available. When I contacted Cameron at C&C Plumbing, he said he could have Hector at our home within 30 minutes -- and at a fair price. I agreed believing that help would likely arrive much later than promised. I was shocked when Hector arrived on time (leaving his own Thanksgiving dinner). He quickly assessed the problem and went to work. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. All was fixed and our Thanksgiving was saved. Kudos to Cameron and Hector. I would use these folks again in a heartbeat!

I always love to see great customer service from small local businesses. People who go above and beyond to help you. I own a business myself so I hold people to a higher standard. Dylon and his crew showed that! I have used their services multiple times now and will definitely refer them to others . Great prices and excellent service. :)

As a property manager, I found Pure Cleaning through one of my Board members. They recommended them for a unique building on the ocean with glass railings. Cade and his staff were always super responsive and did an excellent job. They paid attention to detail and communicated well with onsite residents.

Over time, we had them do more work like specialty metal cleaning and power washing and then I got them involved with other properties I managed. They are super easy to work with, reasonably priced and produce a good result making my company look good as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

We called for a diagnosis on our air conditioner but instead of scheduling for a a check up they scheduled for a new installment and the guy who came said he would contact the people who do the fixes and diagnoses but I haven't heard back from him. There's some communication that needs to be fixed

Tim responded very quickly to my initial request and questions. His price for test, repair and retest is reasonable and very good (quotes from others were unreasonably high). He is friendly, communicates clearly, answered my questions clearly with patience, handled all paperwork to city right after the job. I strongly recommend Tim for backflow test and repairs. Thanks Tim for your help.

Pip is the man, just as all the other reviews say. Plus, he English accent makes the crappy plumbing situation much more tolerable.

I called him on Monday @ 8am. He call me back @ 10am and was at my house by 10:20am. The job was much more extensive than I had hoped it to be but Pip took his time and got the job done in a few hours. He was VERY clean and made sure that my house stayed very clean even though he was clearing a HUGE mess out of our kitchen plumbing. I would highly recommend using Pip and his plumbing services...The price was very fair as well.

Had all new appliances from Lowes delivered and installed today.   Refrigerator water line was leaking so they couldn't install until it was replaced!
Found The Works Plumbing on yelp and gave them a call.  They answered immediately and scheduled my service window in minutes.   Shawn & Steve (? I think, sorry) we're here within an hour and did an amazing job.  Professional, fast, friendly and went above and beyond to help me out.
5+ stars for sure.  They made my stressful situation go away immediately.  Happy customer!!

Called Daniel's Plumbing. Scheduled a service call. They quoted a very reasonable price. They showed up when they said they would. They did a great job.  I'm really happen. I highly recommend them!

Pristine Plumbing did a great job. After an emergency that flooded a portion of our house, we were able to get a technician out that same day (Sunday). He was very informative and even gave us options in parts based on how much we wanted I spend. He showed us how to be preventative and what to look out for with regards to the supply lines in our bathroom. Overall, I felt safe and comfortable that I was getting a fair price for emergency service. Will definitely use them again as we found out they are certified to install whole home filters.

Very helpful on the phone and scheduled appointment for the same day.  Good communication and fair pricing.  Finally a company that comes when they say they will.  I appreciate the professionalism!

Great service and experience working with Roby! I highly recommend him! He is an expert in plumbing! He is efficient, very professional and his work was outstanding! Pricing is very reasonable as well.

If you need a plumber he's the one!! We found him on Yelp he replied within minutes, was out to our house in 30minutes. Stayed until after 7pm and figured out we needed a new shower valve and pressure regulator. He said he could be back at 8:30 am on Saturday morning. He was here on time, finished the job and did an amazing job. We have a family friend who is a plumber but he was out of town, he agreed with all the services and said he was being more than honest with the price. Thank you again and if you need a plumber he's the one!!
