Daniel came out this morning to move the water heater as part of water remediation work.  At that point I was told that Black Mountain Plumbing (BMP) does not work with insurance and that I would have to pay for $800 + (surprise) $600 to replace a water regulator before hooking up the temporary water heater.  This is approx $1,400 out of pocket today.

I had to decline working with BMP due to this.  

I gave feedback to Daniel that I would have appreciated knowing up front that they did not work with insurance. His response was that I should talk with the office not him - I can only talk with him about specific work being done and that it is not his responsibility to tell me up front about not taking insurance.

Next, I said: ok, I will talk with the office. Let me give you some personal feedback, your customer service attitude is abrasive and not helpful. As I was talking, Daniel got in his truck and drove off and left me in mid sentence. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL conduct.

I called the office and Kathy (sp?) answered and took my call, feedback, and report of the incident very well.  

In the past, BMP has provided excellent service in the past.  Very professional, courteous, and high quality work.

I don't know what to make of this incidence

Benji gave us a very fair and competitive quote to replace our old water heater. We also had a mystery leak somewhere in the house. Benji had an idea of where the leak was and how to fix it so we decided to use California Plumbing. Benji had the water heater replaced within an hour and then found a bad seal on an upstairs toilet that had caused the leaking. He had to raise the wax seal by elevating the mount, which he did in short order. We will definitely recommend and use Californian Plumbing for our future needs. Thank you Benji!

Didn't end up working with ProMax but they were very communicative, responsive, and genuinely gave us a good impression. We met with another company prior who exceeded our expectations. But after a few others that flopped out of the gate by all measures max ProMax at least deserves a positive review for being on point during the estimating stage.

Had a situation that i discovered at about 2am on saturday morning.. i figured no problem ill tackle it when the hardware store opens at 9am.. by 10am i knew i was in over my head.. thought for sure i would have to leave a message and wait. Nope. Best plumber around!

Chris gets an A+ for service. So easy to call and schedule - called on Saturday night and he made it out Monday morning. He gave me a 20 minute call ahead so I could make it home. Assessed the problem and did a quick repair. I need a new kitchen faucet and it will be Chris who I call to get it installed. Such a relief to have a plumber I can rely on!!

I can honestly say without hesitation that I would fully recommend PAWS plumbing.  Called PAWS for a quote and they had shovels to the ground within 45 minutes of me agreeing to the repair.  Mike and Taylor did a awesome job in digging a almost 4 1/2 foot hole to find the problem and repair it so it will never happen again.   They arrived in a very clean work van with all the tools organized and clean.   Very professional and answered any questions that I had.  Job could not of gone more smoothly.  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We were in the middle of our oven replacement when we found a huge gas pipe. Installation couldn't proceed without fixing it and that's when we called vessel plumbing. Travis accepted to come in at that very minute even though it was late in the evening! He fixed our problem with ease was a life savior! Our new oven was installed with no problems later.

the guy wanted $250 to change a filament in the water heater !! finally paid $40 to another guy.

this person wants $100 extra for an emergency anything and pretty much talks down upon you if you question his out of the ballpark prices. avoid.

Two stars because they were very responsive. Other than that their pricing was ridiculous! Quoted me $1000.00+ for a job that I had received quotes for half that cost. Worst than that when I questioned Mike he got defensive and rude. Unfortunately for him I had priced all required pipe, fittings, and valves at the local Home Depot so when started whining about how much material costs I threw the Big B.S. flag at him! Bottom line people beware!

All I know is these guys are the awesome in the sauce, had a plumbing emergency and team BY THE BOOK showed up on time, diagnose the problem. And provided us with options. Thanks for your prompt service from the start to finish, 10 stars for customer service. I will be recommending this company.

I found myself in yet another plumbing crisis and David came to the rescue again. I seriously can't say enough great things about this company. Extreme Home Service will forever be my go to plumbing company. I called this morning requesting plumbing repair and although they were busy all day today David was able to come in 20 minutes! Every other plumber I called either didn't respond or were booked all week. It was important that I got the plumbing done today. EHS is professional, prompt, and very affordable! Can't say enough great things about them!

We've been calling Rich at Touchdown Plumbling for years for various issues. We always get quick and quality service. Last time, they replaced our water tank. Most recently they hydro-jetted an outdoor drain that was clogged and fixed a leaky bathtub faucet that was corroded in the same day. Both issues were more severe than expected, but Steven was very thorough and did a great job at fixing both. He was very nice and good at communicating. Invoices are always very detailed and itemized so you know exactly what you're paying for. After another great experience, we are sure that we will be contacting Touchdown Plumbing again the next time we have an issue.

Gabe is who you NEED to hire right now. Had a shower handle thing along with other issues and he was available within hours. One-time, professional, and communication was excellent! Thank you!

Honesty is hard to come by these days! Tried to clear the shower drain ourselves and got the snake stuck ten feet down. Brilliant, right? After having my skilled friends/family try to help, we were resigned to call the professionals and were expecting a costly renovation. Kevin at Affordable Drain is amazing! He was able to get it out with his magic and our bill was down to a small service call fee. Skip the others and know you are getting highly skilled plumbers with integrity!

Troy is a very interesting man as well as a highly experienced and knowledgeable plumber. His price was fair and he worked quickly and efficiently. I will certainly call him next time I have any kind of plumbing problem.

Good same day service. Very helpful and a nice guy. Service fee was what I expected for a house call. I felt silly since my drain problems were a simple fix, but he showed me how to unclog our drains more effectively with a hand size plunger. Tip: don't use a big toilet plunger for sinks.

Also he helped identify the source of leaks in my old kitchen sink where the sealant is failing. It will be a bigger, more expensive reno to fix that, but we can isolate the problem until we're ready to renovate. He does not install new sink fixtures or do much contractor type work, unfortunately, just maintains and fixes problems. Although I bet he would install a faucet.

The price was trulyAbove & Beyond. While others were quoting $100~$260, this company went above and beyond with $675!

Sadly, they didn't come back with a lower quote either... (Sigh!)
