This is my second bad review after this companies empty promises. Believe it or not after the first bad review they had the audacity to call and ask me to take it down. Mind you the work had yet to be completed and money returned. I informed them I would consider taking down the bad review as soon as they finished the job, must not have been that important that was three weeks ago and I have yet to see them. Do NOT hire this company! Don't be fooled by their fast talk and empty promises.

It is rare to find a plumber who is communicative, knowledgeable, and honest. Black Mountain Plumbing came out to look at an issue we were having at our commercial building in San Diego. They cut right to the chase and addressed our issue quickly and their prices were more than fair. If you are in their service area, consider yourself lucky. You will never need another plumber.

No hot water on Friday morning, No panic, found California Plumbing on Yelp, on site 45 minutes later and installed new water heater 40 gallons up to code and cleaned everything. Thanks to them. They also checked few things in my house. Plumbing business number 1 in Chula Vista and probably in San Diego. 300% recommended

We had been having issues with the water getting hot in our home about 90% of the time, my husband called a handful of plumbers who came out & basically gave us the run around, that they would give us a call back, they think it's this or that, none of them knew what they were talking about. When my husband called Promax & explained the problem, they immediately had an answer to what they believed the solution would be, without even coming out to our home yet. So when Teo arrived, I explained to him exactly what was happening & he had a quick, knowledgeable answer. He explained to me why he would be doing the 2 services he recommended & how they would help the issue. He was here for less than 3 hours, did exactly what was explained on the phone & reaffirmed here at our house & it's been a few days now & everything is working perfectly so far! I would definitely recommend Promax to anyone that needs a plumber, they are knowledgeable, professional & work quickly & efficiently! Thanks again!!

Matt, Dave and Ricardo and THE BEST!  This is a company with integrity and honesty.  They show up on time, assess the situation, get to work, and get it done all while being friendly and very service-oriented.  I have been using them myself for the past 4 years, and prior to that, my management company used them. I have an old house and a just a little less old duplex that are in pretty continuous need of some type of plumbing service.  They are my go-to guys for all my plumbing and heating needs and they have never let me down.  Plus, their prices are more than fair.  Almighty Plumbing is the true spirit of the small business of America and I support them 100%.

I have needed Chris' expertise twice now - once was a landscape plumbing emergency and he was able to come out within a few hours. Problem was fixed quickly and price was reasonable. He gave me detailed post-care instructions and I have had zero issues since.
The second time, he saved me close to $1k by letting me know an easy fix around my issue. I don't know much about plumbing so he could have taken advantage of that and gotten a good sized job out of me. He is honest and fair and great at his job. I can't recommend him enough!

I called PAWS Plumbing and Greg came out to our house to give us an estimate. We were super pleased with him. He was kind, professional, and patient as we looked at different options for our job. Ultimately we didn't go with him only because we found someone who could give us a better price for our complicated project (the other guy was the only one to suggest digging one one hole instead of two, saving us hundreds of dollars, so we went with him instead), but I did want to write a great review for Greg because he spent so much time explaining what the situation was, and he was communicative and professional. If the other guy hadn't been so much less expensive, I would have been happy to go with PAWS. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for another project.

We found water leaking into our garage on a Saturday afternoon. I found Travis on yelp, called him and he was out repairing the leak that evening. He was professional and knowledgeable. We've already used him again for a different plumbing maintenance job.

I've been calling Scott for a number of years to help out with an assortment of projects.  He's been very timely and very honest in his work, helping me out when I picked out the wrong items and going out to replace them.  Thanks again!

Leaking valve under sink!  Called at 8 am and Jevat was at my house at 9! He made some other great recommendations for other plumbing issues in our home.  Great knowledgeable service!

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I had a slab leak and called By the Book to get a leak detection done. I made it clear that leak detection was the only service I needed from them that day, as I was going to weigh my options for plumbing. Leon came out and immediately was very condescending right off the bat. I get it, I'm a girl, I look young, but assuming I'm dumb is a bold move. I ask for leak detection, and Leon is already giving me the go around about why he can't do that. He tried telling me I don't have any water damage, even though I felt warm spots underneath our entire kitchen (meaning water was leaking and spreading under the vinyl). If I listened to Leon, we would have severe mold damage under our floors. I also knew there was water flowing in our bathroom and Leon said he didn't hear anything and implied I was just making up the noise. After not doing what I requested and instead doing a walk through of our whole house, Leon said he would be back in 5-10 minutes. He came back a full HOUR later! I had no idea what he was doing as I thought he was maybe preparing his leak detection equipment. Instead, he was ignoring my request and coming up with 10 different plumbing options to repipe the entire house. I was annoyed because all I wanted was a leak detection and Leon was refusing to do that. I quickly told him I wanted him to leave and he got visibly upset and threw a tantrum! I've never seen a professional old man do this. He told me I wasted his time, which I quickly reminded him that I never asked him to sit in his car for an hour. After throwing a fit, Leon finally left and I still had no leak detection done.

I called a different company, Mastercraft, and they came out, detected my leak, and showed me that I had bad water damage under the floors. They were very kind the entire time during the water remediation process and told me how to do everything through my insurance. I then called California Repipe and Plumbing to take a look at the leak and they had a very quick response time. They were extremely patient explaining the entire process to me and gave me very reasonable prices. It was clear they were not trying to take advantage of me and were there solely to help me.

By the Book Plumbing clearly does not train on customer service and they leech off people who are desperate for fixes. Be smart and do NOT hire this company! They will take advantage of you and be condescending the entire time.

My home warranty used this company for my plumbing leak.  Michael S was the plumber that was sent out to help.  Michael was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.  My leak was from the bathroom up stairs and leaking into the garage ceiling and there was no access and of course, access was not covered under the home warranty.  He called up EcoDry, a water damage company that also helped through the process.  Once access was available Michael was able to easily identify the problem.  Without Michael's extreme professionalism and experience to help me through this process, I would have been completely lost.  This company also worked scheduling around to get Michael here as quickly as possible both times he had to come out.  This company really works for the customer and I could not stress enough how highly I recommend them.  I will be calling them again for any plumbing needs I have in the future, warranty or not!

Gabe did an amazing job with my kitchen! I had a busted garbage disposal, a faucet that wouldn't turn, and a scratched up two compartment drop in sink that needed replacing. Gabe was very responsive to my calls and texts.

I had issues getting the sink shipped to me from Home Depot twice and ended up buying the materials in store. Gabe was very patient and didn't mind that I had to reschedule. If you need any plumbing work done, Gabe is a great handyman that can get the job done. I'll be contacting him for any future job I need done.

We had total blockage of every drain. Robert H. showed up 2 hours after we called. Robert was friendly and professional and explained all charges. A larger machine was required, which Dan and Kodiak delivered. Dan's knowledge of his trade is astounding. Not only fixed our problem, but told us how to maintain the system so it doesn't happen again. I thought the cost was very reasonable. I will not hesitate to recommend this company to my friends. I called All About Plumbing for a sewer blockage problem & they were at my door in 20 minutes.
 I told Troy that 14 years ago I dug up my yard to replace the sewer line & 6' of it was plugged solid with roots. Troy & Curtis worked on it for a couple hrs with a 3 cutting blade, it was getting late so they came back the next morning & sent a  high pressure water cutter jetter through the lines 7 times & finally broke through, they sent the camera down again & it showed more roots, used the 3 cutter on a snake for another hour before sending the camera down 1 last time, look like new.
    I've worked in the construction business for over 40 years worked with thousands of contractor's and never have I meet a more honest contractor & hard working team than Troy & Curtis. If you ever hire a contractor protect yourself & property by making sure they are licensed by the state of California, when hiring a scab contractor and you then become their employer & are responsible for all his damages & injuries on your property.

Christian arrived on time and was very polite and professional. He explained what the problem was with our toilet and fixed it quickly.  I highly recommend Chase Plumbing.
