On December 6, 2022, Elite Rooter came out to clear a drain in the bathroom sink of an upstairs unit (A). The technician stated there was a clogged line. He also found a connection issue with the plumbing under the sink and the pipes in the wall. He said he needed to clear the line and repair the connection. I authorized him to do the work, and it was done on December 6, 2021.
On January 3, 2022 I called your company back out to the property because the tenant downstairs noticed moisture on the bathroom wall and in the medicine cabinet of the unit (B). I was told by the Elite Rooter technician that the problem was the drain pipe that connected the upstairs and downstairs units (A&B). The technician belived it was cracked and that was what was causing the leak. He gave me a verbal eastimate of almost $4,000 to remove and replace this pipe; however, I never received a formal quote. I told the technician I needed to confer with others and that I would call him if it was decided to move forward with his recommendation.
I called another plumber for a second opinion on January 3, 2022. This plumber came out to the property and could not find anything wrong with the connecting pipe that was identified by your technician. This plumber believed the problem was with the initial work that Elite Rooter performed on 12/6/22 stating that the fitting was installed incorrectly. He corrected the work your technician performed and properly cleared the line.
On January 6, 2022. I reached out to your group and let them know all of the above information. I asked for a refund for the work performed on 12/6/22. In addition, I asked for a gift card for the tenant for all the trouble they went through and for replacement of the medicine cabinet due to the water damage. I spoke with Gayson and he let me know he would authorize a refund check to offset the incured costs.
The issue with the leak was resolved; however, there was damage to the drywall in unit B by the leaking water. The drywall needed to be replaced and the bathroom painted. I called your office several times, but my calls were never returned. A decision was made to no longer inconvenience the tenant and the work was authorized.
I forwarded the invoice for the drywall repair ($360.00) and painting ($275.00) to Summer and Annette. In January, when I forwarded the invoice to Elite Rooter employees, I still had not received the refund/gift card/medicine cabinet check that was approved by Gayson; however, the check was received on 2/23/22 but dated 1/23/22.
I have made several attemps to resolve this issue both by phone and email. The outcome has been the same still working on it or waiting for a decision from someone else. This has gone on for three months. Finally, last week I was told the owner is not taking responsibilty for the damage, much to my dismay. I expect Elite Rooter to review the facts as presented here and agree that the damage caused by the leaking pipe is one hundred percent Elite Rooter's responsibility.

Great team and great work! I found them very responsive and kept us up to date with all information along the way. This is a messy job and the employees did everything in their power to keep the work space and my property clean by laying down tarps for the dirt for example. Highly recommended.

My online request for quote was answered very quickly and an appointment was scheduled within hours the same day. Vladimir was the technician and took the time to review the situation to ensure I actually needed a new garbage disposal (vs. a repair).  After confirming the unit had failed, he was able to install a new garbage disposal in 30 minutes.  Very professional service.

My family and I moved to the area and needed a plumbing company to install some pipes and record some footage for permits. We weren't familiar with any companies, but found Chris on Yelp. He definitely lives up to his 5 star rating. He is honest, reliable, and extremely responsive.

We contacted him again regarding a gas line we needed moved for a wall heater and he let us know that the job would probably cost more than installing a mini split unit. He discussed all of the options with us and gave us his honest feedback. Thank you so much!

Travis is awesome! Recent minor repair needed at my mother's house and Travis took care of it in no time. He also checked the pressure and let us know we'd be needing a new regulator in the not-too-distant future. Having dealt with a regulator problem at my house, with a different plumber, I appreciate the head's up without the high pressure sales pitch. Pun intended.

First time customer, & will be a returning one from now on. We had a leak under a bathroom sink, had to turn off the water for a few hours, & called several plumbers. Only got voicemails, until we called Twin Plumbing. Thankful Scott answered & said he could come & fix our problem. He took care of the leak in a very short time. He noticed we didn't have a pressure regulator outside on the mail water pipe & recommended one. He had what he needed in his truck, put one on, & set the pressure.

Scott is a man with a lot of knowledge as we asked him many questions & his answers were all spot on. We found him to be very helpful, & caring about his customers & work.

Called on a Monday morning to see about having the flange repaired on our toilet. Mike Carroll answered, was very friendly and respectful, and had someone out that afternoon. Juvat was our plumber and he was just as friendly and respectful. He showed me everything that was wrong, suggested some repairs and was honest in telling me other parts did not need replacing. He treated me with respect, did a fantastic job and cleaned up after he was finished. I am incredibly pleased with the entire experience! I would highly recommend this company and if plumbing is needed in our home again, they'll be the first people I call.

I recommend this company to friends and family as well as other businesses looking for speedy service. We needed emergency drain service at our industrial building and Leon arrived within a few hours on a very busy Monday. He was professional and took care of the clog quickly. By the Book Plumbing is definitely on my short list of reliable businesses in San Diego.

My bathroom sink started leaking (badly) and wanting to use a local business, I yelped Extreme Home Service, Inc.   I'm glad I did.  David from Extreme was able to come out in less than two hours.  He was quick to identify the problem and quoted me a very fair price.  As he was finishing, I suggested he might as well snake the drain just in case of a build-up.  He explained that he hadn't found a reason for doing so and that it wasn't necessary.  I was so appreciative of his integrity.  He could easily have done it for the extra money if he weren't honest.  He cleaned up the area and didn't leave a mess for me to take care of.

And finally, David was genuinely nice.  I immediately trusted his abilities.  I have found a new plumbing company and will refer Extreme Home Service, Inc. and David to my friends.

Had an emergency because I tried to change out the faucet in the backyard myself and of course I twisted and broke the pipe.  Called several plumbers and Rich was the only one who answered the phone Saturday afternoon. Was so glad he could come out right away. All in all Rich was fantastic and efficient.  His price was also more than reasonable. I was very very happy w his service. Will contact him again for bathroom remodeling in the future. (Apparently he does that as well)

We contact Gabe one day and next day we had him at our door with all material we need! Great plumber and fixed a lote of other things! Be prepare for his energy because he is fast as he is good! He is hand super man!  Thank you Gabe, you save my day because you fix what other handman massed up! Your rock! Five star and more!

One thing that really makes me mad is when a company jacks its prices up due to increased demand. Also known as gouging. A service call with this company was $285 last year and today it's $425. My paycheck hasn't doubled in one year so they've proved themselves to out price me and anyone who wants to use them. Give me a break.

Great communication, arrived within the time appointment time frame, honest and fair pricing.  I had issues with the kitchen facuet not working. They were able to come in and figure out what was wrong within 15 minutes and even made suggestions for any future issues, if any come up.  Highly recommend!

I was able to easily schedule an appointment and he arrived on time and quickly took care of the problems. He needed to replace parts in both areas and he had them on hand so it was quick and efficient.

JOE IS THE BEST!!!  I can't say enough good things about Joe, Peter and Viviana.  We just used their team for repair of a corroded sewer line and liner install.  This is not the first time we have used them either.  We previously had used them for a kitchen slab leak.  Yes it's been a rough year lol, but thankfully we had Joe.  Joe and his team have delivered time and time again.  He showed up on time to give a quote and then came the next day to do the work.  They were great at communicating what they were doing every step of the way; and taking lots of pictures and videos, and patiently explaining everything they were doing and why they were doing it.  They truly provide a valuable service and take care of their customers.  We have found our plumber for life.  Thank you Joe!!  -Mary :)

I found the service provided by Associated Backflow Professionals/ABP Backflow to be very impressive.  It's easy to communicate with Jeffrey, the owner, via the ABP Backflow website.  Jennifer, the ABP staff member who carried out the test, was friendly and efficient.  The process ABP Backflow has set up wherein the unit owner sends in a pdf copy of the City of San Diego test form before the test date means it's possible for the test to take place without the owner being physically present (as long as any protective cage around the backflow prevention device is unlocked).  It also eliminates the risk that if the unit owner is present when the test occurs that there is a potential problem of no available form for the backflow tester due to the owner having misplaced it.  Kudos to ABP Backflow for the valuable services the staff is providing owners who need to get their backflow prevention devices tested!
