I had a kitchen drain that was actually a vertical line clogged. It was challenging and gushed water all over the place. Janes  was so professional and mellow. He got this water all over his face and didn't complain even a second. He had to run the snake a couple times and explained things where I know what my HOA needs to take care of now and what I can do m m ai twin things.
Excellent service, professional and punctual with no hard sales gimmicks. Great pricing snd honest! I'd give a 10 star if possible.

We have used Black Mountain Plumbing in the past and they have always done a great job at a fair price. They even showed us how to snake our own drains with a $4 tool.  Today, Soloman, came by and was courteous and professional.  Will use them again.

We had an issue with our plumbing that needed prompt (although not emergency) attention. I called Thursday and they answered the phone (unlike another company that I tried) and set up an appointment for a technician to come the next morning.
Alex Gonzalez showed up right on time and quickly evaluated and fixed both of the problems we were experiencing. He was friendly, polite and professional and took the time to explain the situation and educate us regarding several aspects of our home's plumbing. He did excellent work and we would recommend California Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing services!

Daniel is AMAZING!  Finally I've found a professional, skilled, and honest plumber.  I purchased a very cute Spanish style 1930's home.  Since it's an older home it comes with its fare shares of plumbing issues.  I have had some experiences with other plumbers who were late, expensive, and did poor work.  Thank god I was referred by a friend to use Daniel.  Recently he has fixed my reverse osmosis system, garbage disposal, and installed my new tankless water heater!  I couldn't be happier with the work.  Daniel is a true master of his craft and takes pride in his work! I was out of town and my house sitter called CML to fix a water leak.  Chris responded rapidly and had my water main back and operational in no time.  Great service!

Dishonest and damaged other fixtures when they came in. Initially lied about it, until it was quite obvious it was from the result of their work. Proceeded to lie about ordering new fixtures to replace the damaged ones for approximately 7 months where they were non responsive and come to find they never placed the fixtures on order at all.

Our bathroom drain was clogged so I called Vessel plumbing. Very good communication. On time. Kept the estimate for his work. Solved our issue in a timely manner. I will be keeping this place on my list to call again.

I received Scotts number from a neighbor that gave him a solid recommendation.  I contacted Scott by text message and snapped a few pictures of my water heater.  Within minutes he gave me a quote and a time frame in which the job would be done.  After checking with four other services, i found Scotts price to be one of the lowest (its important to compare apples and apples since Scott was also quoting an expansion tank which a couple of the lower quotes were not including...an expansion tank is required at our home). Scott arrived on time (after sending a text stating that he was on his way) and stayed within the four hour predicted time frame.  The finished product was excellent.  His work was clean and meticulous.  Scott was professional and courteous.  We are one week into the job and everything is running smoothly. I would highly recommend his services.

I meant to leave a review months ago and I got all covid-y and forgot to. But I didn't forget the service I got! Jevat came and rescued our new place (rental) from getting flooded. He showed me the leaks and why the plumbing went wrong, mentioned a few things he was worried about after looking at the pipes and even went downstairs to check out our water heater and teach me a little about it, if/when I should get it looked at, etc. I ended up showing him a bunch of other stuff we thought was kinda odd and he explained those things and more stuff to look out for in the near future.. no upselling or pushing extra services, just making sure our place would make it through the rest of our lease lol he might have been a Lakers fan but he didn't mind bs'ing with me on some basketball for the while he was there. Didn't forget the social distancing and covid regulations and I felt safe and clean the whole time.

These were the second plumbers trying to fix the sink, the first ones really didn't do much and the leak (flow!) opened back up in less than a month. Now, more than 6mo in and no problems with the sink again! If they're around when we buy our own house and we need help, we'll definitely know where to go.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I had a slab leak and called By the Book to get a leak detection done. I made it clear that leak detection was the only service I needed from them that day, as I was going to weigh my options for plumbing. Leon came out and immediately was very condescending right off the bat. I get it, I'm a girl, I look young, but assuming I'm dumb is a bold move. I ask for leak detection, and Leon is already giving me the go around about why he can't do that. He tried telling me I don't have any water damage, even though I felt warm spots underneath our entire kitchen (meaning water was leaking and spreading under the vinyl). If I listened to Leon, we would have severe mold damage under our floors. I also knew there was water flowing in our bathroom and Leon said he didn't hear anything and implied I was just making up the noise. After not doing what I requested and instead doing a walk through of our whole house, Leon said he would be back in 5-10 minutes. He came back a full HOUR later! I had no idea what he was doing as I thought he was maybe preparing his leak detection equipment. Instead, he was ignoring my request and coming up with 10 different plumbing options to repipe the entire house. I was annoyed because all I wanted was a leak detection and Leon was refusing to do that. I quickly told him I wanted him to leave and he got visibly upset and threw a tantrum! I've never seen a professional old man do this. He told me I wasted his time, which I quickly reminded him that I never asked him to sit in his car for an hour. After throwing a fit, Leon finally left and I still had no leak detection done.

I called a different company, Mastercraft, and they came out, detected my leak, and showed me that I had bad water damage under the floors. They were very kind the entire time during the water remediation process and told me how to do everything through my insurance. I then called California Repipe and Plumbing to take a look at the leak and they had a very quick response time. They were extremely patient explaining the entire process to me and gave me very reasonable prices. It was clear they were not trying to take advantage of me and were there solely to help me.

By the Book Plumbing clearly does not train on customer service and they leech off people who are desperate for fixes. Be smart and do NOT hire this company! They will take advantage of you and be condescending the entire time.

After working an issue with 2 other Plumbers, Rick and his team were able to identify the problem and provide a cost effective solution to my clog.  ...and these guys had to work hard at it too.  Since that first projectiI've called them in for everything from minor under sink clogs to major kitchen work.  They have always been on time, helpful and reasonable.  I'll give them the biggest compliment... I trust them!

They contacted us immediately and there were a few plumbing services we contacted. One company forgot to call us then said he would call us and didn't. Another had me transferred multiple times which made us even more frustrated and another company gave us a maybe price that made us nervous as maybe could have been any price. All About Plumbing was straightforward and was honest the whole way, they even recommended us calling HOA first on a few things. When they recommended us looking to our HOA first that really stood out and made us feel like they really cared. They walked us through all the steps of what to do before there visit and during visit. As a new homeowner we never had plumbing issues this was our first so having a company that really walked us through everything and was honest about it all really helped. The day they arrived they were mindful that our kids were distance learning and I was working remote. They also weren't annoyed that my husband watched what they were doing and showed my husband what they were doing so in case something happened he would know what to do. My husband wasn't looking over their shoulder to check their work but really learn plumbing and they were both really kind about it. We didn't have to tell them about the 20$ off through Yelp either they included that in bill automatically. The work once completed was an upgrade to what we originally had. It came out superb and my husband and I were satisfied with the work that was done. I have no doubt if any issues happen again or if we needed services, that they would treat us the same way as well as any customer. Christian was an absolute life saver. My wife and I just finished bathing and putting our kids down to bed when I noticed the tub wasn't draining and neither was the toilet. After a little detective work we assessed it was the main drain... I called Chase Plumbing and he was literally at my home in 15 minutes! Very professional, fixed the issue fast, and charged me a very fair price. Now I'm a hero to my wife and the house is fixed before the kids wake up. Thank you Christian!!!

Joe and Viviana at Above and Beyond Drains & Plumbing made the process extremely pleasant. Joe was so professional and knowledgeable, and he was upfront and explained exactly what he was going to do beforehand. Showed up on time, completed the job, and explained what he completed. He even gave the previous plumbing technician the benefit of the doubt since that technician wasn't able to clear our blockage- great display of professionalism. I would definitely call Joe and Viviana again in the future. I should add that we used a home warranty insurance company's preferred plumber for the previous job that wasn't complete. I would choose Above and Beyond Drains & Plumbing over them and gladly pay out of pocket for this company's service.

Fixed my covering after last company refuse to put it back. All without charge and next business day! I'll use them next year for the test.
