I needed my bathtub drain snaked. They came out same day and were very professional. I have used these guys before for a problem with my toilet as well. They charge a fair price and are friendly. Thank you.

My first three experiences with Black Mountain Plumbing (March through August) were great, top dollar, but good work is worth paying for.

My last three interactions (September - today) have been radically different. The new scheduler is rude and unhelpful and I'm not willing to wait three days for a 4 hour arrival window.

A competitor was able to give me a 2 hour window today. I'm generally pretty loyal, but rude and condescending doesn't work for me.

California Plumbing  San Diego did an outstanding job installing my washer hook up. They were courteous, precise and neat. They also had the lowest estimate by several hundred dollars. I would use this company again.

Daniel was fantastic.  He showed up 5 minutes early and was finished in under an hour for our size job!  Did a great caulking job as well for me around my handle to make sure it matched the rest.  No more dripping tub faucet!  The pricing was reasonable as well!  Thanks Daniel!

Same day service. Super quick and helpful with getting two of our sinks serviced. Recommended us solution to purchase for up-keeping. Hourly service hour rate rather than a per job cost, which was responsible. Would recommend this local company.

Kell did a great job replacing the disintegrating drain lines under the kitchen sink in our rental.  Price was as expected.  Problem was resolved in 24 hours from initial phone call to finish.

Travis recently replaced our 30g tank water heater with a 40g tank in our newly-purchased 1958 home in Serra Mesa. The existing tank was about 10 years old and had started leaking into the containing drain pain pretty significantly. The tank was also leaning and had a number of other issues with the installation mentioned in our home inspection. It was also in a tricky location in the middle of the house but he was able to move things around and fit a 40g tank (our request, not an upsell). He addressed and resolved all the existing issues mentioned in the inspection and did an overall fantastic job of installing the new unit, supply lines, etc. He was professional, courteous and didn't hesitate to answer all the random questions I had.

I've actually replaced a water heater myself before in a different home where it was in the garage (easy access) and I've sweatted plenty of copper tubing over the years so I could certainly recognize the professional quality level of his work. As far as price, I thought it was very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again for any water or gas plumbing work.

A great plumbing company. Mike provided excellent advice & diagnosis over the phone, and referred to a good leak detection expert. After confirmation of the diagnosis, Mike explained what they plan to do. Mike and his crew arrived on time, came up with the best possible solution to the issue, considering the circumstances. The work was done quickly and professionally, with great and courteous communication. I told Mike - you're our plumber now.

I have used their services twice in the past few weeks. They have always been very responsive. I needed some drains to be cleared as well as an issue with my hot water heater. Communication with Leon was good. They were able to clear the drains and fix the water heater. Other improvements were discussed but no pressure was placed on doing anything immediately. They were very open to questions and explained the problems well. I've been happy with their service.

We had an emergency with our sewer ejector pump and David and team came to the rescue for sure.  We had another plumber look at initially and they did not have a solution.  David's approach to the issue was excellent.  He showed up when he said he would.  Very dependable!  He also resolved a shower drain leak very quickly.  We will call Extreme Home Service for all of our plumbing needs going forward.

Touchdown Plumbing is fantastic.  Rich is knowledgeable, professional and my hero!  Our main line was clogged with 5ft of roots and was backing up into the house.  We called Rich in a pinch and he was there the same afternoon.   He gives education and options, which was really appreciated.  He was always on time and was mindful of our schedules to not leave us without water usage before and after work.  His price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of his work.  He also put our front yard back as he had found it after the job was done.  I will never go with another plumber after finding Rich!

We used Gabe to install a new garbage disposal. He was responsive, showed up when he said he would, confirmed the appointment, and did a good job. We look forward to working with him again.

Jeff the service tech is FANTASTIC!!!! He is always thorough, professional and trustworthy. I know we will get the best service when he is here. No complaints with him or his work performance or ethic. We have complete confidence in him, because he will get the job taken care of in a pleasant manner. He is EXCELLENT!!!!

Unfortunately, I wish I had the same opinion about the office staff who I had to interact with on the telephone today. Both conversations were obstinate, defensive and difficult. Their need to state the obvious (repeatedly) was unnecessary and redundant. They were more interested in getting their point across and not considering my words or platform. It was a power play, and in my opinion the furthest thing from customer service or customer appreciation.

I chose to share this because, this company has taken care of us in the past as it related to drains and also being generous with how they billed due to our repeated need for their service. That kindness was appreciated and we are grateful, but to dangle that fact within the conversation (repeatedly) was insulting. We were and are grateful for the discount(s) that were provided, and that should have been accepted and noted when it was stated in our conversation. Their need to repeat what they did for us by providing a discounted service, not appreciating us as repeated customers, and their need/want to get the last word in as the 'only' word that mattered, really made it feel like a power play platform.

This was unfortunate for all of us on the phone today......

I contacted a number of plumbers through Yelp for the replacement of a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. I selected this company because of the Yelp ratings and the price of the bid. Curtis, one of the owners, arrived promptly and went right to work. He was very personable, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this company, particularly Curtis.

I had a clogged kitchen sink and had tried everything on my end to get it unclogged. I searched around yelp for a plumber since I'm a recent east coast transplant and usually rely on my dad to come fix this sort of thing haha I called Above and Beyond after getting a really reasonable quote (other plumbers quoted me almost double) and got an appointment scheduled for Friday afternoon. I got a call from the company asking if we could reschedule to Saturday morning due to them being very busy. It wasn't a problem for me and on Saturday a wonderful plumber named Rene came to snake our kitchen drain. He was super nice and even discovered we had not clogged our drain but the main line it was connected to was backed up. He did discover a leaky pipe though so I'll be getting that fixed once I get a quote. Oh and he killed a bug for ha great experience with the company and will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.

Wow. I am so impressed. Due to a landscaping repair snafu, our back flow started gushing water at 5:20 p.m. And, this wasn't just a trickle, it was spraying and spilling over into the street, leaving us no choice but to turn the water to our house completely off. We have a large family and being without water for a full evening, night, and uncertainly into the next day is just a problem. We all know that needing emergency service after standard business hours is the worst case scenario and we are at the mercy of the experts who answer these after-hours calls. Well, Jeffrey answered the phone. He asked me to send pictures of the back flow and, 40 minutes later (30+ of which was pure drive time), he was at our house assessing the problem. He was polite. He was professional. He explained how the system worked and what can cause these problems. Most of all, he charged us a completely reasonable and fair price for his time and efforts - and he fixed it and did the basics to check its performance.

I asked him why his company didn't have many yelp reviews and he mentioned that they don't feel right soliciting reviews; customers should write what they want to write if they choose to - no dangled incentives or personal requests. That's honorable conduct so don't let the few reviews dissuade you.

I'm sorry that backflows are so rarely in need of repair or testing because  these guys are good, and I'd happily work with them again.
