John was such a nice guy! Talked to me like a human and let me know the status of my furnace. Even gave some free advice and ideas to help me save money. Guys like him are few and far between. Definitely someone I'll be calling in the future anytime I need him. The transformer in my furnace was buzzing, John and I texted to pick a date and iron out costs. Super easy to book. We had used Albert Ellis team to repair some duct work a few months ago and had a great experience. Our air went out last night so I called right at 8 am when they opened. They were able to send someone over right away and assess the issue. By noon, Brandon had us back up and running! Great service!

Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

another great experience!  Tyler, Bryan. all employees I spoke to or came to my home are awesome. very professional and friendly. .  my ac unit stopped working. came out same day Tyler stayed till 1030 to get my bedroom to stay cool enough to sleep there. they were even going to go out and get a window unit so I could stay in my home. they came out next day as promised, replaced my system, cleaned up after and Tyler followed up to see how things were working. the manager came out a day or 2 later to recheck everything to make sure everything was working properly   spending money on a new air conditioner is expensive but having envirosafe doing the job helps. reassurance. answered all my questions ,explained everything in detail so I understood it. what a great company.

Very disappointed they took advantage of my grandmother who can't hear clearly and charged her money and didn't do any work it was suppose to be a free estimate I wouldn't recommend Goodman Plumbing to no one they are CROOKS ...

I had a clogged drain on my roof deck and he was here within a couple of days. I had two quotes that were RIDICULOUS from plumbers who were clearly trying to take advantage. One quote was $450 to snake my drain! (stay away from roto rooter under all circumstances). The technicians were curious and professional, fixed the problem and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I will only use them from here on out.

I have used Palmerio Plumbing several times for some emergency plumbing situation and each time they have showed up on short notice and completed an awesome job. Today I had the pleasure of working with Ernie and within minutes of his arrival he was able to diagnose the issue. Ernie was professional, repairs were quick and efficient and the price was very reasonable. Would recommend Palmerio Plumbing to anyone with big or small plumbing issues!

I recently took on the rehab of a long-vacant property near me. East Falls had to do a complete re-plumbing of the 3 story house, including a new boiler and replacement of some (very heavy!) radiators. I have to say it was completed with minimal of complications on my part. The work was done in the time frame he suggested and when there was a problem in one of the older lines he was back to make the needed adjustments to correct the problem. Very professional and easy to work with.

Chris initially came out to take an estimate for the project. He explained the solution well and offered an alternative. Provided tips in case I wanted to attempt a DIY which I ended up opting not to. Kelly and Bob were out the next week to complete the job.

Professional, transparent with pricing, and timely completion. Great communication as well. Would call again. Very satisfied.

Bought a house and needed the furnace/boiler checked prior to the winter season.  Was also having some issues with the system in general.  I called the  company that had serviced the equipment for years (The previous owner had highly recommended) and they no showed on me twice but called me back to see if I wanted to buy a service plan.  (!?!).  That was enough for me.  I started the hunt for a new Heating guy.

Out of desperation I asked a friend for a referral and she recommended G.J. Stimmler and sons.  (She raved about them and how honest they were)  I'm very happy that she referred them.  In no time, I had the owner Andy and his assistant on my doorstep and the furnace was being cleaned and inspected.  They identified the cause of my problems and replaced an electrical part.  The bill was very reasonable and I never felt like they were rushing to get to the next job.  

This is a local, family owned company that's a couple of generations in the making.  I can see why they have endured.  The entire time they were working, Andy answered my barrage of questions about hot water heating systems in general and my 36 year old boiler in particular.  I asked when it should be replaced.  Clearly, there are no high pressure sales tactics here.  I was told my system is past it's normal useful life of 30 years but that it's been very well maintained and does not look it's age at all.  He said it was a coin toss and that the boiler  could last for a few years more or die in a few months. There's just no way to know.  He simply suggested putting money away as and when I can and planning for a new system down the road.  On top of that, when I asked him if he knew of a good tree service, he gave me a name and number that worked out fantastically.

What sealed the deal for me was about a month later, I called the emergency line because my furnace went out.  Andy diagnosed the problem over the phone based on my description and told me what to do.  Heat restored.  Zero charge.  These are the only guys I will use from now on.  I cannot recommend them enough and I see their truck in the neighborhood a couple of times a week at least.

Irrelevant but interesting - I recently looked at some of the yellowed paperwork and instruction sheets that are tacked to the basement wall near the furnace.  (Most pamphlets are for equipment long since removed but they date back to the early 60's.)  These documents were added to over the years by Obsessive owners as new parts were installed/equipment replaced and they have apparently remained untouched for decades.  Being a history nerd, I took them down and sifted through them and discovered that my boiler was installed (in 1980) by none other than G.J Stimmler and Sons.  Irony!  That just gives me warm fuzzies.  One generation of a family business installed the equipment, the current generation will (eventually) take it out and replace it.  Full circle....

Dreadful. Staff poorly trained - one says one thing, another says something different. Say they'll call you back and don't. Make an appointment with you and then try and change it at the last minute. Excuse after excuse after excuse. AVOID.

Horrible. Great at advertising. Horrible at actually doing work. Charged $500 to install a garbage disposal and I had to have another plumber come and fix the shoddy work. Charged hundreds to fix an outside spiquot and I am now calling another plumber to fix their work.

The first tech spent more time talking about 'political issues' than troubleshooting my HVAC issue. Needless to say he didn't fix it. Later, a second tech 'thought' he knew what the issue was and proceeded to replace a part but charged us full price for a part that was under warranty and didn't bother to check. When we brought up that the part was under warranty the next day to Ben's ProServ they said it was too late to get reimbursed. To make matters worse the HVAC is still having the same issues before Ben's ProServ was ever contacted and meanwhile I'm out hundreds of dollars. They did offer to send yet another person out and waive their initial visit fee but after charging us for a part that they shouldn't have charged us for and for the fact that they already had two techs out that couldn't figure out what was going on with no offer to refund the erroneously charged part, I figured it was a safer bet to avoid this company.

We noticed a leak on our water heater. Within 45 minutes of calling, they had 2 very professional service men at the door, assessing and diagnosing the problem. Within the following hour, a new water heater was delivered and installed. They even contacted the manufacturer of the original water heater and handled the warranty work associated with it. They provided a fantastic level of service and professionalism that is rare to see these days. Mattioni Plumbing quickly became our go to Plumbing & HVAC service team! Thanks to everyone! Before you call Horizon, know that you aren't calling a plumber but a sales person.  They aren't coming to your house to fix a pipe.  They are coming out to up sell you on products you don't want.  Their pricing is outrageous and unreasonable.

I had a small section of piping that needed to be replaced. About an hour's worth of work.  The tech quoted me over 900 dollars.  But if I sign up for a service plan, I get a discount that makes the plan pay for itself and I would only have to pay $850.  I told him this price was outrageous and told him that I felt $200 was more fair.

After a call to his manager, he was able to drop the price to $550.  This tells me he was already over charging me by $300.  I asked him to leave my house.

I called another licensed plumber in the area (Dormann's Plumbing in Mickelton) and they came out and did the exact same work for $196.34.

Unless you are dying to throw away money, I would avoid Horizon.

The whole process has been a awful.  From the customer service to the installation to the follow up scheduling of Maintenance.  Not only would I not recommend this company but I would tell others thinking of using them to stay away.  
Better customer service on the phones to properly checking equipment prior to installing.  After installation the company realized they put the wrong AC unit in and had to come out again to waste another one of my days. Then during inspection a gas pipe they moved had to be corrected which cost another 1/2 day.
Customer service is brutal.  Allied is supposed to take care of the permits and let you know when they are completed.  Not only did they not do this but I had to follow up with the town and confirm the permits were ready.  Town also informed me they were ready for 2 weeks and told allied.  Did I get a call no.  I asked the rep to follow up and she put me on hold to call the town and she mentioned they were not done.  Liars they are as I already had the permits.  I had to follow up at least a dozen time regarding permits.  Had install in May and didn't get permits until July.  During that time not once did they follow up with town to see where they were in the process.
