Best Electric Furnace Repair in Philadelphia PA
I had a simple leak in my bathroom on the valves. A job that should not have cost half what I ended up paying ($500 after Joe took off $50). Joe made it seem like it would be a nightmare! We have to take all the floorboards up and replace the pipes with new ones. I protested his price but he insisted. I figured since he's been a plumber 50 years he knows more than me.
Truth is He looked at that leak and new instantly it'd be a simple fix.
His worker left and came back from Home Depot then cut off the 3 valves and soldered on new ones. Thats about an hour total. HE NEVER TOUCHED THE FLOORBOARDS. The price remained $550. He stated I said I MIGHT have to go in the floorboards. You still owe $550.
What?!
The job should not have cost $550! I was cheated.
He also tried to get me to fix the clogged Shower drain...using the same embellishment scare tactics. Said it would cost $2300!!
I got a new plumber to do it for $300 the next day. It was a very simple fix. He cut the floor open and replaced the clogged Trap.
It took a combined 30 minutes.
After my original review Joe put my name, profession and ADDRESS in his response which was deleted by Yelp after I flagged it.
Dirty.
Then he sent me a message calling me a Fat Overweight Slob.
Classless.
My Profession and where i live has NOTHING to do with our dispute...And it's a violation of my rights and Yelp's guidelines.
The bottom line is i Failed to get a written contract before the work started. Now i know.

Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

We've had a bunch of vendors come and tell us to replace our boiler, but John came out and recommended getting a cleaning because the boiler is still functioning. He also offer replacement options as well, so we appreciated the multiple options. He was very responsive and extremely knowledgeable. He spent time explaining to me how everything worked and even fixed items outside of the initial scope of work.

I was extremely happy with the quick response and great service. My wife called me at work saying that water was shooting out of the drain line for the washer in our basement. I called price's plumbing and they were there in less than a half hour. Diagnosed and fixed the problem before our basement was flooded. Thanks price's plumbing for saving us from a major disaster. I would highly recommend and use them again.

We had Buzz Duzz replace our poorly designed low functioning central air with a dual split a/c system last summer. The crew was respectful, knowledgeable and showed up as promised...which seems to be a difficult thing to do for most Philly companies. Anyway, after that we had a bit of trouble and Buzz was super responsive every time. Today we woke up to no heat. Made a call to Buzz and we had a tech at the houe and the problem resolved within 2 hours! We love Buzz Duzz!!

We used Goodman plumbing to fix the steam pipes at the church. Roman and Pat were there over the first two days, and Jake joined Roman on Saturday. They were very professional, personable and worked late to fix our ancient steam heating system. The work-site was not pleasant, and they needed to move some debris out of the way, and never complained. Unfortunately, they found additional issues which needed remediation, and explained why we needed to address them. The heat was unable to be turned on until this was fixed, and they needed to come back for a good part of Saturday to fix these new issues. Along the way, we were shown what was going on and they were very fair on the pricing as new issues were found. They will be the folks we call in again for any plumbing concerns.

The most important things to me when selecting a service provider are that I have confidence in their expertise and that I have complete trust in their recommendation about what needs to be done. I don't want to be wondering whether they are, for example, telling me I need a new water heater or HVAC system when in truth the existing one can easily be repaired for a much lower charge. Veteran Plumbing and Heating is that company. They won't sell you something you don't need, and they have the expertise to get it done right the first time. They are also Veteran owned and operated, and I like to support our brave soldiers who put their lives on the line for us. Chris Tucker was the technician I dealt with, and he was extremely knowledgeable, patiently explained how my HVAC system worked, did not talk down to me as a woman, arrived on time, and was respectful of my home (wore paper booties over his shoes). I now have a new HVAC and plumbing person, and could not be happier.

Don't do business with this company. They misdiagnosed my heating issue, caused me to take several days off work and then tried to charge me for something no one told me about up front. Had to get another company to come out (Summers Quality) that correctly diagnosed the issue and took care of it quickly. After disputing the charge with the owner, he proceeded to make a claim to impact my credit.

Called Ben's ProServ this morning because my AC went out at 4am last night. These guys came out the same day and fixed my Standard AC Unit! Everyone was friendly from the receptionist to the Technician. Cost I thought was a bit high because I priced the parts but these guys were awesome. Thanks for making my home bearable again. Much recommended! I wish I could've gave the Tech a tip but I'm tapped out. Lol.

We called them because they were one of the local companies who were authorized to repair American standard heat pumps. We had so many issues with American standard and they worked with us to get a replacement unit from the company. Their service people have always been professional. We have a service plan and called them for a plumbing issue even though we usually use another company. All the techs have been very professional. Their prices are a but high but with the service plan there is a discount. Only caveat: they try to upsell services. We just politely say no to added services and all is well

Don't waste your time. Called for an appointment and after confirming they simply didn't show up to inspect my HVAC. When I texted t wo hours after the appt time to see if they were late the guy said he had a long week and couldn't make it.

I always have been happy with their work. We have not asked them to do anything major, but the work they have done has been without flaw. The best part is they are always quick to respond.

Just had Matt and his crew from PlumbPro over a few times to fix some plumbing issues that all seemed to happen within a month of each other. In my 60 years, I've never met a plumber who is so happy to come over and do this job. He's happy about it, works hard, smile never leaves his face and gets the job done well. Even had after hours and weekend calls and they respond SO FAST and charge such reasonable prices. Gets the job done he first time.
This is a plumber who is unlike any other plumber you've ever had. A real plumber who you can trust to do a fantastic job and who is so nice and so authentic. You'll know what I'm talking about the minute you reach out to them. Exemplary service every step of the way!
Thank you to Matt & Amanda and their crew at PlumbPro !!!

Gabe and Tony just left after fixing a broken pipe under my kitchen sink. They were professional, empathetic and practiced the proper safety measures with their PPE. I will definitely be calling them again when I need work done. Thank you both so much!

I had a good experience with Best Choice Plumbing. I was very satisfied with the service. Jackie from customer service was amazing, she attended to me quickly and made sure my needs were attended ontime and made sure I was satisfied. The quote was reasonable. Vincent was who quoted my job. Rooters tried to quote me at double the pricing Best Choice Plumbing did. The crew came on time. Operated a good pace. Did exactly what they were suppose to. The only thing I didn't like was what was stated on the agreement: If you decide not to replace the lead galvanized line we will make every effort to secure the line during the excavation and replace the dirt after the repairs are made. However if the water service pipes leak, it is your responsibility for the cost of replacing the line.

I've had this company replace my hot water heater & was satisfied with their work. I signed up for their service plan which is fifteen dollars a month. I have a better chance of hitting the powerball, than getting my heater serviced. The first time they canceled the day before scheduled
service, and then no one showed up the day of my rescheduled service date. When we called, they told us that it was scheduled for the next day, and they could not accommodate us. We had to work that day, and would never schedule on a work day. We have not received a return phone call at this point, and do not intend to do anymore business with a company of this weak caliber.

I had Mark from Allied come out yesterday for an estimate on a new central AC unit. He did come on time, however, after looking at my home and taking several pictures inside & out he left me very puzzled. I own a mobile home and much to my surprise Mark informed me I have an attic!!! (Mobile homes DO NOT HAVE ATTICS)!!! He told me my air vents should be on the floor and not the ceiling as the manufacturer designed it!! He called me today with an estimate that was out of this world!! I nicely told him to delete ALL the pictures of my home in his phone due to the fact I didn't ok this!! He tried to use his salesman pitch on me to no avail. I promptly hung up on him!! I wouldn't let this company work on a dog house let alone my home!!! Run, don't walk away from this company!!

I scheduled an appointment with Service Mark who has been servicing my heating and air conditioning systems for 15 years. I made an appointment six weeks in advance for late November, and was stunned to get a call from Horizon Services 40 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m. telling me they were not coming because they no longer service the downtown Philadelphia area. Hello? What? Horizon merged with Service Mark, and no one at Horizon bothered to call Service Mark customers and explain this well in advance. This is NOT how a well run, customer-focused company behaves. I would have expected much more advance notice and a few leads on what companies do operate in Philadelphia. It's unlikely my heating system will be serviced until sometime in January. Don't use these folks. Bad!
